Ability Information

General Information

Abilities are special techniques your character learns to help them in battle. They are learned through TP(Technique Points.) Before you can spend your TP to learn a new ability, you must first have an open slot for it. All characters start with five ability slots. Every 5 levels you gain, you unlock a new ability slot. The maximum amount of ability slots you can have is 15. Some abilities may not take up a slot, so you may learn them for free as long as you spend the TP.

You can create your own custom abilities. If you wish to learn more about creating custom abilities, Click Here.

You start the RPG with 50 TP.

Ranks

Any ability that gives you FP when you use it in battle may be leveled up. Abilities start at Rank 1 and may be leveled up to Rank 3. To level up an ability you must pay half of its initial cost in TP. So, if a tech cost 50 TP, you must pay 25 TP to level it up.

Upon leveling up an ability, you will reduce the FP gained by using it in battle by 10% for each rank (20% total at Rank III.) When you level it up, the name will change, for example: Kamehameha(Rank II.) If your an ability is a ki attack, even though you gain less FP when you use it, you will calculate your ki bonus the same as normal.
