Roleplay Sample (250 words):

[Quick one, I did tonight, on another site.]

"--tain Ginyu" a voice called out, waking Son Goku from his slumber. "Attention: Captain Ginyu." it continued to bellow in Goku's ears.

"Huh? Ginyu?" The Saiyan scanned the cockpit of the tiny space pod, looking for the source of the voice, until he caught sight of a small, bright, blinking red light on the main console. "Oh...it's the ship talking to me.." Goku sighed, relief in his voice. "I'm here, space ship." the gentle warrior said, assuringly, patting the control panel with his hand in an attempt to sooth the ship's virtual emotions.

"You are not Captain Ginyu." the voice stated. "Preparing to eject." The small light flickered, following the ship's commands.

"What?! NO!" Goku cried out. "I AM CAPTAIN GINYU!" The Saiyan worriedly called out, trying to convince the ship that he was the pod's former owner.

"SEE?!" He said, deepening his voice, with his best Captain Ginyu impression. "Dammit. I can't really remember what that guy sounded like." Goku could feel his seat snapping into a different position. "I CAN'T BREATH IN SPACE...I don't think..." he pondered. "I've never tried it."

"Look, ship...we're almost to Yardrat. I'm your new owner...I'm Goku.." the Saiyan tried to explain, but the ship's voice remained silent. "If you will just give me a chance..." Goku pleaded. "I think we could become good friends."

The ship stayed silent for a little while longer, but Goku's body was not ejected into space.

"Very well." the voice finally responded. "Is Captain Ginyu deceased?"

"I think he's a frog, now, or something..." Goku blurted out.

"I do not allow animals to operate me." the space pod's internal voice replied.

"Uh..okay."

"Transferring ownership records to a Son Goku." the voice stated before going silent.

"Alrighty." Goku said, patting the ship's console again with a smile.

"You may rest, Goku." the voice said, a bit nicer, this time. "The planet of your destination, Planet Yardrat, is but a mere one hundred and twenty hours away."

Goku nodded, closing his eyes, again. "Well, I don't think I can sleep for that long, but thanks for the update, shippy!"
