• Rora-gan: Cherri’s male parent, affectionately referred to as “Daddy”. Despite being a monstrous, extradimensional being, the two have a close relationship with one another.
  
• Eldraga: Cherri’s female parent, who left the family unit while Cherri was young. The two have never met before.

Tarnajin Form: Usually, Y’lerl masquerades as a Tarnajin. Like most members of the species, she sports a light green skin tone and red, square shaped irises. The race’s other peculiar traits include opposable feet, a trait retained from their arboreal ancestors, and a prehensile tail which was evolved for similar purposes. Her reddish hair is drawn back into a ponytail and braided.

Her body is a touch on the short side for a Tarnajin, and she stands just over five feet tall. Her build is a little stocky, but noticeably fit. Her exact attire varies depending on the situation, but at the moment, she’s wearing a jumpsuit-like uniform given to prisoners of war. The suit is an aquamarine blue largely unmarked, save for an identification number to keep track of such individuals.

True Form: Y’lerl has never actually been seen in her true form, as a part of blending in with her surroundings, as she’s well aware of the fact she’d stick out like a sore thumb. Her body is roughly similar to a large starfish with six tentacles jutting out of a central body. She displays a typical body color, a dark green, and her skin is smooth like an amphibian’s. Three large eyes with horizontal pupils stick out of her main body, although there are smaller, less complex eyes on the end of each tentacle. Damage to them, however, will hardly bother her, as they are meant to be expendable. Control over psychic energies, or ki in this dimension, allows her to float above the ground unaided and gives her a wide range of mobility as opposed to simply crawling like her ancestors would have done.

Y’lerl is well adapted to life in the Dragon World by this point in her mission. Having lived here for several hundred years, she’s started to take on the personality aspects of the natives. While more Pta’nan are relatively reserved, Y’lerl is outgoing, witty, and smart-mouthed. It pleases her to make snarky comments and she loves to humor others. Despite this, she realizes that she needs to live a life of secrecy and has taught herself to blend in with society as well as possible.

Despite coming from an alien civilization, there are certain social norms instilled into her that are nearly universal. She realizes that it’s wrong to kill or harm a child, but is willing to break laws on occasion to get what she wants. For the most part, she’s self-centered, and willing to go the extra mile. However, she’s far from determined, and is willing to back out of situations if it suits her needs. On top of that, she’s a “daddy’s girl,” almost always willing to obey her father so long the action wouldn’t hurt her psychologically.

But perhaps most importantly, she’s inquisitive. She feels the need to constantly gather intelligence about her surroundings, but will be as discreet as possible about it. Her personality type was a key factor in her being selected for her mission, and she takes pride in it.

Y’lerl and her people come not from this dimension, or even this universe. Y’lerl is a Pta’nan, a race of advanced ultraterrestrials that monitor others in the hopes of gaining knowledge for undisclosed purposes. Y’lerl herself was raised to be an emissary and observer, with the Dragon World is her first official mission.

In order to observe native people, the Pta’nan change their forms in order to masquerade as normal individuals while taking notes on their behavior, customs, and culture. The first planet Y’lerl investigated was a war-stricken world in the outer arms of the northern galaxy. The planet has been at war with the Planet Trade Organization for eons, vying over their plentiful natural resources.

A report is given at the end of each solar cycle via the astral plane, the only way Pta’nan can communicate with beings from other universes without going there themselves. However, more than a month has gone by now without communication from Y’lerl. The species she had taken on the form of, the Tarnajin, have at reached the end of their war with the Planet Trade Organization, and they’ve lost. She has been taken as a prisoner of war, and boarded onto a ship heading for Freeza #79, likely to be interrogated or sold off as a slave.
