Lin Kuei Missive #3 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #3

Post by Sigea 8/10/2012, 8:44 pm

The planet of Namek. One with lush green environments, peaceful culture and giant amount of harvest. At this moment in time, a danger is coming steadfast towards the planet. From the northern quad of the galaxy opens a portal and a large piece of what looks to be land comes out of it. It’s shape is round just with a jagged circumference and surrounded in a red fire. It’s destination? You bet; the very planet we speak of, NAMEK.

As the searing ball of land and flame reach the orbit of the planet, it breaks the atmosphere, not without struggling first of course. This of course throws many things into turmoil across the lands. First off, being a visitor or even if this is your place of origin; this can deter your attention very easily. As it entered the air space of the planet, it’s site became visible along with minor calamities happening across the planets northern side.

Oceans across the planet began to stir; the winds of the planet began to pick up as a seeming storm came along with this new entity on the planet. Everyone on that planet could tell something had appeared on their lands that was not off this world or even galaxy. It came with a ki signature that was gave a dark pulse, not one of the alignment type put of the deadly kind. Guru, Nail, Village elders and even members of the Lin Kuei looked up as the or landing of this meteorite caused the ground to shake a bit.

Two organizations on the planet would act fast. The Grand Guru spoke to his right hand Namek, Nail. “Send a small team of warriors to the direction of that sinister energy my boy.” Coughs were heard after his speech. As you know with old age comes sickness and this troubled Nail; but he did as his master suggested. Being the head of the planet, who could defy… or want to defy a peaceful old Namek such as Guru. “Right away Guru.” Nail flew off from the high perch of Guru’s Temple. He landed and contacted a nearby village and gathered three strong warriors. They were not his level but by the readings he did himself, they should be adequate enough. So he gave the order and the Nameks flew off.

At the same time, on the Eastern Section of Namek

The Lin Kuei base had an alarm go off. This buzzer was indicated through all of the facilities as Sigea, Lamp, Icina and frost all had their attention on the reading that they felt moments ago. They all jumped from the rush of the impact in the ground and rushed into the same area; the security department. Frost was first to the scene as he was the strongest of the party in the base, and questioned the source of the disturbance.

“Sir, we have readings that are going off the scale. There seems to be an energy source coming from the initial direction of the impact. It has a power level of…. My god…”

Frost stepped up to the console and then gave the order for a group of ten sentries to move out and head to the coordinates the machine was giving off. Icina had gotten there when the order was finished but overheard it from the hallway. “Frost, shouldn’t you have sent Sigea and Lamp?” Frost shook his head. “I will not send my best men out there to an unknown source. I don’t even think it’s something they themselves could control. Not until I have accurate data on whatever is out there and with these readings… this thing or whatever it is, is monstrous.”

Sigea and Lamp both meet up and talk things over. “What the hell was that?” Lamp barked out while Sigea closed his eyes and began to use his ability of sense. His vision went from his immediate area to scanning the planet. It was given him an accurate description of the landscape but more like a radar technology, just a signature and locale. He opened his eyes upon finding the source, which was a dark gaseous purple from the reading. He broke out into a sweat as he looked over to Lamp and shook his head. At the same time the A system had come on and Icina had given a direct message to Sigea and Lamp. It was for them to report to the security facility for emergency debriefing. They responded by making their way.

Neither of the two parties had any idea of what this body of mass was that landed on the planet they called home. It would be something so vile that would rock the land; thus changing how Namek could be forever. Whether this change was good or bad was up to how it was received or combated. As the companies of the Namekian Society and the Lin Kuei headed out, from the west there began to be a few pieces of flattened land, where the great meteor had fallen. Landing on opposite sides they all reached the area at the same time.

After a few standoffs between the alien forces, they realized a few entities had appeared above them. They all looked up to see a few figures, skin ranging from the color spectrum ranges from red to green. They wore animalistic armor that had the fur and skin of several creatures draped across their bodies to mesh making torso pieces, gauntlets and boots. They had on miniature shrouds covering their shoulders and lower parts of their face, though you could tell they were not of Namek, Human, or even Changeling and Icer lineage.

One Namek spoke out to the ground pointing. “Is this your doing… Just look at my planet you have scarred?!” One body had a sick chuckle come from his mouth as his green eyes went around the land and back to the Namek. “Why don’t we call it… redecorating…” The Namek flew upwards as the two remaining Nameks tried o break his rage but they were too late. This Namek reached the vicinity of the alien with green eyes and as the action of raising his fist, he was hit by an unknown party. The blow was quick as none of the warriors there, Lin Kuei or Namekian, could see what the actual attack was.

The Namekian was knocked to the ground as his body bounced a few feet. “Bingo!” a word was said from the green eyed alien. He laughed afterwards. “We do need to gauge their power at least Bingo…” The man being said. “Sorry. We can tell his power was nothing if that put him down…” The Namekian slowly stood back up as he had bruises all over from the landing on the scarred planet. He looked up as he felt his energy dropping. He placed his hands above his head as energy began to build. It was eratic and glowing with a blue energy as he launched his hands towards the group yelling Masenko. It was a wave of ki that was normal for most Namekians to be able to use. This one though, it was quite powerful as it broke wind from around it.

As it flew another alien, one with red skin zipped in front of the ground and met the ki wave with a powerful head butt. The energy not only stopped but it disappeared. The group in the air slowly floated down to the ground as they began to chuckle and the Nameks and Lin Kuei were looking on as they were approached by the fiendish group.

Whoever these men were. They were not to be underestimated. Their power seemed far greater than any of the warriors there and even greater than those of the Namekian society and Lin Kuei had even fathomed. The events that would transpire next were gruesome and despicable to say the least. The battle was quick and when the dust finally settled, bodies lay tortured among the crash site of the Meteor. The one with green eyes walked over to a Namek and lifted him up. His name was Griek. He carried him over to a large piece of the meteor that did not break. As he approached it, a glowing began of green energy. He placed the Namek facing the green meteor and in the eyes of the Namek fear could be seen as a slimey liquid came out of the large rock and shot into the side of the Nameks face. This liquid then combined into a single stream and through a cut on the Nameks cheek entered into the skin.

The Namek was dropped In the midst of the beaten and the group watched from the skies. This Namek rolled on the ground as the lack in his eyes disappeared and blood and slob came drooling from the Nameks mouth. His veins bulged as he writhed in pain for a good five minutes. The group got quiet in anticipation for what was to happen. The body of the Namek stoped moving as the rest of the Nameks and Lin Kuei had stood and walked towards the Namek. He seemed to be dead so a fellow Namek knelt down and rolled his hand over his eyes to close them.

At this moment is when all things would change however. The Namek opened his eyes and grabbed the arm of the Namek. All you could hear was a horrendous yell from the Namek as the Namek was seeking his teeth into the flesh of his brethren. The others turned to see the carnage ensue. The other Namek rushed in after his second brother fell. This deranged Namek looked over to the charging Namek and the remaining Lin Kuei with a mindless look. It was as if the body of the Namek was not perfectly in sync with how the Namek originally was. He was some sort of mindless ravaging beast.

The Next namekian approached him with a lashing chop, this was evaded and bitten completely off by the weird Namek. The next Namekian was bitten and fell. At this time, the two Nameks who were bitten began to yell and writhe in pain. The skin on their face began to lighten around the middle section and the outer skull was now a darker green than their original ones. They stood up in unison and joined the other mindless one. There was now three Namekians… increased strength; skill, and bestial actions. The Nameks all made a hellish howl as blood and drool came from their lips and over to Lin Kuei. Needless to say; slaughter ensued…

Lin Kuei Missive #3 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #3

Post by Sigea 8/12/2012, 2:51 pm

Hours had passed since the first incident. Initially there were 13 individuals that headed out into the forefront of this presence. None had returned but readings from the Lin Kuei had shown that those of their forces had been killed; since their power signatures had disappeared from the face of Namek. Frost was furious that his men had been defeated by whatever it was. Not only did this mean that the Namekian forces were not killed; but he needed something with more power to combat his threat. Would he send out Sigea? Lamp? Icina? Or maybe himself.

The Grand Guru went through a similar situation. Utilizing his grand mind he was able to perceive that the Nameks he had sent out were alive but something was wrong with them. Upon using his great kinetic energy Guru reached out to their minds. One Namekian had a darkness inside of his mind that Guru had found himself in. Upon digging further he found a dual-sided section divided in half. One side belonged to the Namekian he loved and cherished dearly. A warrior slug at heart this Griek was. He did not follow the peaceful ways of the Guru but he loved all his children so. Then there was the other door. This dark and damp room housed an entity with no body. No corporeal form just a presence. He could not decipher what manner of being this creature or entity was. When he was back to reality in front of Nail, Guru woke back to his senses but he hadn’t an Idea of what to do. He looked over to Nail and spoke firmly.

“Open that link…”

Nail’s eyes widen as he knew the signal for what ‘that’ link was. It was something he never thought he would see the Guru did but desperate times calls for desperate measures and as much as he did not want to, a signature was sent out into the air and to the recipient of this conference; Frost. The Lin Kuei Headmaster accepted the conference and they both spoke to each other, telepathically.

“Isn’t this a surprise. The old bastard rears his shriveled face.” Frost joked making light of the situation. Him and Guru were not people who saw eye to eye but this situation would mean they might have to amend their vows against each other for the sake of the planet they live on and their people. “You know as well as I do I dislike tying myself to such filth, even in mind. The situation is drastic and we both know our forces have been either killed or something much worse.” Guru’s voice was raspy like that of any elderly. “Very true, except it seems my men died and your men are alive… yet are not returning to you… Instead they are moving!”

The link was still established as Frost was tracking the movement of the three nameks. Originally their signatures were like any other being on the planet, normal. Now, their kinetic force was something foul as If something had taken them over. At this same time Guru had a cold sweat run over his head and a feeling in his gut. Immediately the leader of the Nameks barked at Nail. “Get a platoon over at Rock Sanctuary! NOW”

Back to the telepathy link between Frost and Guru

“Guru what’s happening?” Frost asked confused. “I have a weird feeling about my brothers. Something just tells me…”

The link was broken by Guru.

“Damn that Namek.”

Over a Rock Sanctuary

The three Nameks slowly approached the temple. The Namekian guards smiled and let them through as their posture was normal. Their skin was a a little lime even for them being all green but they still let their brothers through. Inside is where the Nameks had snapped back. They bore fangs and teeth into the flesh of other Nameks. Effectively, those who were bitten by these Nameks had themselves turned into them; a mindless zombie.

Back with the Lin Kuei

“Sigea. I’m sending you to Rock Sanctuary with Lamp. Dispatch and convey what you see. This is scouter. It is one of mines so you need to return it after this is over. You two watch yourselves.”

Sigea placed the scouter over his right eye and nodded and Lamp. He had never seen Frost so anxious. The anxiety he felt from him was of the unknown. He would rest his worry as he was on the mission of quelling this society. Sigea and Lamp blasted off from the front of the base with their energies pulsing around their bodies. Two streams of energy flew through the air at impressive speeds. Their colors were red and pink and Sigea got a message over the scouter from Frost. “Get there now!” Sigea looked back at lamp who nodded and smiled. Their aura’s faded as their bodies flickered from reality and appeared at a greater distance. They were travelling at a superior speed that would cover more ground. Zipping through the air, the two finally reached Rock Sanctuary. Upon landing on a rocky ledge they looked down to see a scene of what looked to be a murder.

“What do you see?” Frost came in. Lamp was silent before responding for a bit. “A Massacre. Along with a legion of Nameks. But not just ay Nameks.” Frost and Icina were confused and questioned further. “These Nameks are two-colored. They have lime and a deep swamp green over their skin and pink eyes. They are eating their own kind as if animals and by the looks of it from a bite of these things, the Nameks die then come back to life as a zombie-like creature..”

Lamps words shocked that of Frost, and Guru also. He was listening in on the situation and conveyed it over to Nail. Guru had barged in the frequency of the device using his mind. “I am sending my champion over there now. He will handle the situation. Whoever you two are, make sure no one leaves that site. We have to keep this disease within the walls of Rock Sanctuary.” The old Namek stated and ended his connection abruptly again.

Sigea and Lam were confused. They didn’t know who voice that was until Icina clued them in as to who it was. “That was the Grand Guru of Namek. The Namekian leader.” Frost had cut in now. “Lamp you will do as Guru says. Sigea I have a task for you. Go to the crash site and scope out the area. See what actually is there.” Lamp and Sigea both confirmed their actions. He looked over at Lamp and nodded to her. “Sigea you be careful..” The demon added as she turned herself into a ball shae and speed off into the crowd of Nameks and began to eradicate them piece by piece.

Fifteen minutes later

Sigea had reached the crash site. His brothers of the cloth were there. Members of the Lin Kuei were scattered. Some were in pieces while others lay intact just dead. He landed and began to walk. He had checked to make sure none were alive as he felt something. A white blast of energy would come to his body. It was small and thin. Sigea smacked the blast to the side and turned to look and see who had dared to. He presumed it was the ones responsible for this outbreak and this actual crash.

His red eyes met with a skinny yellow life form. It had a strand of red hair hanging from the top of it’s head with white spots around the base of his skull and black eyes. “It seems there were beings other than Nameks on this planet. What brings you here stranger…”

Sigea stood up and looked around and then looked at the yellow being. “Oh they must have been part of your group or whatever. Yeah those guys came picking a fight. So we gave them a fight they wanted…” Sigea snickered. “I came picking a fight. Show me what you showed them. And Don’t bother with introducing yourself. You won’t be alive long enough to get it out…” The yellow fighter across from Sigea growled at the disrespect showed towards him. Meanwhile, the rest of the group watched from inside somewhere. The leader with the green eyes watched along with the others.
Sigea folded his arms and waited. The Yellow fighter rushed in and planted his feet and sent a few fists the way of Sigea who instantly swatted them away. The Yellow fight sent a kick and Sigea rose his tail to block it. He closed his eyes and drove his head down into the skull of this yellow being.

The blow was hard enough to daze the fighter. Sigea turned and slapped the yellow alien from his sight with his tail. A large dust cloud rose to the air from the force of Sigea’s blow. He turned back towards the life form and extended a hand. “Wait..” Sigea blinked as a red blast came from his palm and engulfed the man in energy and effectively departing him from this plane into the other.

“This is Sigea here. I’ve encountered a yellow life form. I terminated his short visit to our home. I’m positive more will come…” Frost and the rest of the Lin Kuei heard his message as well as Guru. But the others who had heard it were from the group causing this terror. One of their’s had fallen and there were now four more were left. The Green eye’d leader rose a hand and a large blue fighter stood up and bolted out the door.

The Blue warrior had short black hair, sitting atop his head like a bush. He wore a dark red skin around his body, most likely the hide of a creature resembling a dinosaur or something of similar magnitude. He darted through the grounds leaving a stream of blue around him. Sigea turned to meet a punch with his hand. “The second one comes. Like I thought you come in packs. “ The blue one smirked and jumped back. He sent a few blasts down towards Sigea’s spot as the changeling weaved through them. All over small puffs of smoke could be seen from the wake of the blue fighters power. He continued throwing blasts until Sigea was in his face. “That isn’t all your about is it?” The blue fighter flew upwards but as he reached the spot Sigea was waiting on him. “Leaving the party already? But you was the one who started it..” The Blue alien was sweating at this point and trembling.

Sigea rose his right hand and slowly pointed out his right index finger. “bang..” a hole was shot through the heart of the blue fighter. He dropped down as Sigea looked around himself. He pressed a button on the side of his scouter and relayed a message. “A second one was taken down. I found a large base, it looks like a orb like center to the meteor that landed. I’m checking it out.” Frost nodded and continued to track Sigea’s movements.

As he neared the core he spoke of, two fighters were floating above it. They spat at the ground and charged at Sigea. Two simple, yet powerful blows stopped them in their tracks. Sigea grabbed their necks and slowly choked the life out of them eliminating them. “If I know any better there should be one more left, their leader. “

Upon entering the small ship he realized it wasn’t a ship, more of a alienistic heart. On the inside the wales were moving as if this thing was breathing and it was. He met a core of this thing and was met by the leader of their group. “I see you have found your way into my creation young alien. The form behind him sent a blow to Sigea which knocked him to the ground. He heard a voice… but did not see a body and felt a blow. He looked up only to be kicked in the air and bounced around. Blow after blow came until Sigea was knocked to the ground. “You showed such promise young alien. I would have asked you for your name but this is all you can do. My parasites will rid this world of all thoughts and I will control the Nameks and be able to..”

Sigea stood up and cracked his neck. “Alright. It seems if that’s all there is to you, you gonna have a nice exit, stage right.” Sigea snickered after cutting off the alien. He was recording it all Everything the man said. He had let the being hit him in order for him to spew his plans out and that he did. “The problem with you types is always obvious. If you get your way for a moment you spill the beans on what it is you have done. You wa sonly able to hit me because I let it happen…”

The green eye’d man appeared before Sigea with a right punch. Sigea’s face did not budge or move, nor did it get a scratch. “See. I let that happen. “ Sigea bent his arms and sighed. He bent his knee’s a little and a flaming aura came around his body. He rose his eyes to the tall alien who name he didn’t care to know. All he cared about was his mission and if this man’s strength was able to give him a challenge. Sigea came forward with a kick which lifted the man. He landed on all fours and looked up. He jetted upwards and met the back of the alien with his shoulder. He twirled upwards and drove the man down with a dropping elbow. As the alien lay flat on the ground Sigea repeated the word bang five times. Five separate death beams had landed around the aliens body, not hitting him.
The smoke cleared and Sigea waited for the green eyed alien to stand. “You do realize I missed on purpose right? An my power? You do know this is nowhere near my maximum strength? And the fact that I am nowhere near the strongest one on this planet. Be lucky it was me that came and not one of the stronger Nameks. Even for a brief moment… his was boring. But duty calls…”

Sigea flew up and fired a blast through the top. He floated a mile above the giant base and crossed his arms over his chest. His aura began to build as he spun in the air one time and from his fists came a heat. It was aimed downward towards the base where the leader and the generator which controlled the Nameks in Rock Sanctuary. It was his Thunder Flash technique. A funnel of super-heated ki had struck into the core and and blast radius had ensued. It destroyed all inside the base and that meant the leader too. Sigea flew off as The Nameks were starting to turn to normal, the one’s left anyway. Sigea pressed a button on his side and spoke to Lamp.

“We are pulling out Lampp. Emergency missive complete.”
