First Battle of Fate Empty First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 8/21/2012, 5:15 pm

It was the third sun that was high into the sky, the one furthest from Namek, the second was setting. The green water lapped on the beach that was below Tasuda. He sat on the edge of a cliff that was fifty feet up above the beach below him. He was lost in his own thoughts, trying to place himself in this universe that wasn’t his. Guru has been trying to help him, but why was he here? This wasn’t the universe he knew. He was a warrior who had no home. He had no purpose. He even doubted the Paladins existed.

He stood up and looked around. This was his home. This was what he knew, and yet it was alien. The cliff he sat on stretched another thousand feet in all directions before coming to an abrupt end that led down to the ocean below. It was one of the highest points of the southern hemisphere of Namek, far away from anyone. And this is what he liked the most. He was alone, and though it was how he felt, it was also the most relaxing.

He had never been a people person. Not since the horror that he caused on Garish. The slaughter that he had done. Sure he had friends. Gohan, Goku, Zarbon, Bardock. But in the end, he felt alone no matter what. Even in the spotlight when he was the Admiral of the Paladin navy. He was uncomfortable and yet still felt alone. Thinking back, he had always been around people. But never felt like he belonged. Always felt like the outcast that his own people named him to be. And in this universe, his own people didn’t ever exist.

There was movement off in the distance. He wasn’t sure what it was but he could see them approach. Someone was flying and rather quickly. As they got closer, he could make out the features and his eyes widened. A Changeling. So they even infest this universe. He remembered the countless failed battles against King Cold. He’s had a couple of them and hadn’t won a single one. As a matter of fact, his record was miserable. And just by how fast this one was flying, he would be a strong one. One he may not be able to defeat. But this universe needed to be rid of these monsters.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 8/21/2012, 9:08 pm

“You summoned me Headmaster…”

Sigea was in a knelt position. His black skin stuck out in the navy blue Gi he wore. Frost was standing with his battle gear on and had his right hand towards his face with his back towards Sigea. He was looking out of a window as he was using a scouter to survey the lands of Namek. He was using his left hand to scan different area’s and every time he found a group of signals he would press the button to scan their battle potential; an for what? For Sigea of course. He had realized that with all of Sigea’s recent success in missions, that he lacked true battle experience. His Idea was to find the Icer an opponent on namek, one that was alone and Isolated so Sigea could fight and prove his worth in actual combat.

This would not teach the Icer skill but experience in dealing with the unknown. If all you do is train without testing your abilities, you will not grow. This was true as Sigea only fought those who he known as interactions with the Nameks were prohibited from him. “Sigea. You have been doing excellent as an Initiative of the Lin Kuei. Your skill far exceeds that of your rank, but only by time can you achieve seniority within our core. You do understand this right?” Sigea nods his head as he does not make direct contact with that of Frost, who still had his head towards the outside world, focusing his mind of talking and the scouter.

“There comes a time when training and Missions can only do so much for your battle growth though. You need to go out into the planet of Namek, and battle whom I choose for you. This is not a problem I assume..” Sigea made a sound agreeing with Frost’s decision and so it was decided.

|Present Time|

Sigea was flying towards the designated coordinates that Frost gave him. And there he was; a Namek. His garb was like that of other Namek, simple Gi with a sash, much like his own. His body began to move faster as his form began to blur from the speed he was moving. His aura disappeared as he stopped using the powered flight. He wanted to let his foe, and only him know he was coming. An Aura can attract others round planet and since Nameks would band together, it would not be a good luck to go on a Namek killing spree, though it would not be frowned upon either.

His mission as to weed out the Namek and obliterate him. He was to prove what his training and success with the Lin Kuei has given him. It was true, he had not fought nobody seriously in quite awhile since he Knew Lamp’s fighting style. This was an opponent whom he never seen before. One which his gaze has never landed on. Moves unknown, Strength was also unknown so anything could and would happen.

Sigea slowed his flight to a stop as he stood in air without floating, just as if there was a platform beneath his feet. His arms were behind his back, balled into fists as he looked down onto the Namek. His eyes were bright red and surely the Namek saw this. His look was not one of a friendly gesture but more of a menacing demeanor. There he stayed though. He would let his opponent have the first move. He wanted to see exactly what Nameks were all about anyways.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

The Changeling stopped above him and just hovered there looking at him with a menacing look. What did he want? Was he on a hunt? Or did he happen to know him? Either way, he didn’t like the way this was going. He didn’t like Changelings on Namek, they were never up to good. But since he’s arrived he hasn’t been able to sense the energy of anyone so he wasn’t so stupid as to attack. He was already faster than Tasuda would’ve liked. It was definitely going to be a hard fought battle just from his first impressions. His years of experience told him this as well. And Changelings were hardly ever weak.

“What can I help you with Changeling” Tasuda said with a more of a condescending tone than not. “I’ve never seen your kind do anything but harm others. Your race is prejudice against other races and belittle those that are even more powerful than you. So what is it you’re after?” He probably knew the answer. Everyone was after the dragonballs. It was a common artifact, and one that provided people with unimaginable power. But in case he wasn’t here for those, he kept his opponent ignorant.

“Answer creature. Why have you come here? What do you want with me or my people?”

Tasuda only hoped he was sight seeing, but that was certainly unlikely. Changelings had a sense of nobility and wouldn’t go out of their way for simply seeing a landscape. Tasuda’s left hand came forward, palm facing while his right hand was close to his chest, palm out. He turned so his left was facing the Changeling and his feet were shoulder width apart. It was the style of his home on Garish. Much like Earth’s Tai Chi or Ba Qua. Tasuda was calm of mind, though hardly of Spirit, he was calm nonetheless.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 8/22/2012, 3:25 pm

The Nameks statements meant nothing. He spoke about changelings, what his kind has done and what he was there for. He assumed that he was here to cause harm to his race, which wasn’t the case. Instead of a space pirate he was a space marquee, one that sought not wealth or standing but power. He searched for those that would help him learn something new and Namek was basically his first stop. Sigea’s tail moved a bit as his eyes looked over the area. His red eyes went off of the Namek for a moment to survey the area. Water… rock…. And land was all that surrounded them. He could easily destroy the area around him if needed. This thought process was not like him. He would do this mission, cleanly.

His eyes moved back to the Namek as the foe was now in a stance. His legs was spread and his arm and hand placement was interesting. It was surely a stance he had never seen before. This did not make his face grow a look of excitement as a permanent scowl was over his lips. He blinked and thought to himself. The Namek probably thought Sigea was stronger which is why he did not attack first. A good strategy when encountering someone new. Sigea closed his eyes and exhaled. He held out his right hand, fingers together with the thumb bent in front of his palm. The area around Sigea began to lose oxygen as energy from Sigea’s reserves began to appear.

Sigea opened his eyes as the energy swirled around his palm a bit before he gave another blink which signaled for the attack to be fired, if one were paying attention to his eyes. They gave off quick hints as to what he was doing but it would not be the case if you did not know this nasty habit of the Icer. Anyways, an orb of red and white energy came down crashing towards the Namek. His aim was not to hit the Namek but to caused a distraction and see what the Namek was capable of doing. Its slow speed was evident that this was a very weak attack meant to gauge the power of his opponent. If he was to beat this green bean within an inch of his minuscule life, he would test the waters. This attack of course would cause chunks of the mountain to fall into the water and a bit of a dust cloud. Sigea remained airborne waiting to see what the Namek would do. For all his talk, all his demands; Sigea only wanted one thing.

That was to battle. His thirst was growing for combat. It was an exclusive right that only those who have power can taste. When meeting a new foe your blood; be it cold or hot; began to stir and will your body to combat the foe. Seeing the Namek get into the stance made this feeling rile up inside the dark Icer.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 8/22/2012, 5:05 pm

The Changeling did not respond. He just hovered there with the same malicious grin as he had previously. It was your typical Changeling look. The look that was condescending to those they thought below them. What a disgusting creature.

His hand raised, thumb folding in. The position his hand was in signified an attack, either that or he was saying four. Not sure why, so he went with the former. And he was right. His experience pulled him through as a ball of crimson energy formed and came at him. It was slow moving. Much slower than he had anticipated from the warrior above him. This was simply a half hearted attack, only meant to test him. He knew he could probably tear him apart, but the Changeling didn’t know it for sure. He didn’t know Tasuda’s full strength, and he would keep it that way.

Tasuda didn’t move. The ball of energy came at him and once it was was close, his left hand reach and planted on it. He could feel the power within as he battled trying to keep it from exploding before he could get rid of it. His arms vibrated as he fought hard to keep it under control. He was amazed at the power behind such a simple attack. His hand moved, moving the the ball of energy. He shifted to the left bringing the ball of energy around as his right hand was planted on it. He brought the ball back around to the right and unleashed it for the ocean to eat it up.

His hand burnt like hell and though it looked like he didn’t have to fight against it, he did. And that’s when he knew the power of his opponent. His arms felt like they had weakened, though he didn’t show it. He went back to his stance as the ball sunk beneath the water. There was a rumble and then a pillar of water as the ball exploded. The wind carried the mist of the sea water making the normal Namek weather a nice cool breeze, helping to ease the burns on his hands as he fought against the pain.

Tasuda simply looked up at his opponent, letting his arms rest to regain their strength. He was worried, but it wasn’t the first time he’s had to take down an enemy stronger than he was. The trick was, to not let the opponent see what he could really do. That last attack was rough, and he knew it could only get worst, but his opponent wouldn’t know it. He wouldn’t let his opponent see it. He wouldn’t let his opponent know it.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 8/22/2012, 6:25 pm

Water had sprinkled the air, giving the changeling a gentle mist across his head and exposed skin that was not covered by cloth. His simple attack, was not dodged as he assumed but blocked. It was a feat he did not take into consideration but did not worry about. After all, that attack was only meant as a test and it tested him and told a bit about his skill. He judged the power of the kinetic attack quickly and reacted accordingly, with the most minimal effort it seemed. The stance was reverted unto the Namek as eyes met. Red versus black melded as Sigea thought to himself.

A ki attack of that level did not make his enemy flinch. It instead was made a mockery out of. He could rush in for a melee attack but what would he really gain from that? He would not test the opponent besides the skin on his flesh. He needed to see what this bean was capable of so he would opt with his initial gut feeling. It was a great chance to push his power to the limit too. He inhaled and let his hand rest behind his back as with the other. He closed his eyes and in a moment he opened them and his body blurred from existence. He did not teleport but instead moved a form of speed that was higher than what most could ever do. His body travelled so fast that he wasn’t really seen. He reached towards the Namek and appeared right above the bean separated by a foot of distance. He angled his body and used the built of speed to drive a foot into the skull of the Namek.

This would not knock him back as he wanted to knock the Namek down and further into the depths of the mountain range just enough for him to feel the force of Sigea. The Force of the Furor of the Universe. He would stomp his name in blood with this Namek. The first attack was just a play. Things would get serious and if this Namek did not play it carefully, old Guru would be humming him a tune soon enough.

He would simply land afterwards and watch as the Namek either reacted or felt the pain.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 8/23/2012, 2:23 pm

The Changeling vanished, only giving Tasuda a split second to react which was not enough. His body crumpled under a force that threatened to break him. The Changeling’s foot struck his head and the force of the kick sent him crashing through the plateau they were on, straight down. A haze kept him from concentrating. Dirt, rock and gravel struck his face as he dug deeper. Soon he stopped, deepin a hole. He winced as his entire body ached from that. It was just a simple attack. One that threatened his life. He pushed himself over and saw the Changeling float down to the ground looking at him.

Tasuda gritted his teeth. He wasn’t going to let yet another Changeling end his life. He vanished from sight using a technique that bended space allowing him to move to any place instantly. He chose behind the changeling as his right fist came at him as he appear, fingers rolled only up to the first two knuckles, giving his strike a sharp edge to it at he aimed to strike the back of the Changeling’s neck, right where the spine and the back of the head meet. The weakest part of the spine.

He followed up with reaching for his horned and bringing his knee up as he sought to pull the Changeling’s head back to smash his knee into the back of his head. Then releasing the horns, his hands remained where they were as energy grew and unleashed, threatening his head. If anything, he hoped it would at least put him in a daze and keep him unstable to put the favor on his side a bit more. Because as it stood now, he was heavily outmatched and he didn’t have much more he could give as far as boosts. He had to retrain his body since coming back to life.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 8/25/2012, 2:44 am

The bean vanished. It wasn’t some form of high speed movement as the icer would be able to sense him coming. He completely eradicated his signature from existence. Sigea’s mouth opened a bit as his red eye’s surveyed the area around him. All he could see was smoke filling his surrounding area from his own attack he gave him a few moments ago. “This Namek. He chose to ru-“ |Thud|

A blow could be felt from behind his back. It was the Namek. Sigea thought he had ran from fighting him after his kick to his head but he had used some technique to disappear and reappear in a completely different place. The attack was aimed at his neck, a part where armor was thin and it was completely open with the technique he performed. Sigea stumbled a few feet forward and turned around into another physical attack into his face. His eyes closed as a knee was sent to his head and he leaned back only to feel a harsh radiation of energy warmth his body and explode outward. A dust cloud had quickly filled up the area surrounded where Sigea stood.

A few minutes of suspense had ensued. Due to the combo The Namek had performed he wondered if the Icer had been destroyed or not. In a moment a tail smacked against the ground as the smoke was knocked from around him by wind. “Your getting careless Namek….” With that Sigea used another high speed movement as he blurred out running towards the Namek. He used a technique never used by him before but thought it was perfect. He created threads of energy and stuck 5 to the ground and while he passed the Namek he would entangle the Namek, trapping him with an “energy web”.

Turning around he flew up high into the air and stopped 15 feet above where the Namek would have been trapped if technique had worked. He angled his body as he spat at the ground and bent his arms at the elbow and crossed them over his chest. A heated energy began to draw towards the Icer. The energy came into his arms and he placed his arms forward, straight towards the Namek. He balled up his fists as the energy took a few moments to gather from the heat in the area. His hands began to glow as smoke came from his skin. He clicked his fists together as a wave of energy came from his fists in the form of a super-heated wave of fire. In some places it was known as the Thunder Flash. Sigea had no name for it as it was just the ‘pressure cooker’ to him.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 8/25/2012, 3:08 pm

editingThe smoke cleared and the Changeling stood there, barely scathed. His tail slammed against the ground kicking up loose dirt and grass. “You’re getting careless Namek...” The Changeling rushed forward pushing his body to faster speeds. Tasuda had little time to react. Leaving a copy of himself, he pushed back. A glint of red energy laid over the image as it vanished. Tasuda was free from it, though it distracted him, allowing the Changeling to get above him.

The Changeling’s spit allowed Tasuda to pinpoint his location. He was merely a dozen feet or so above where his his image had been. He didn’t like what was coming. The Changeling’s arms came to his chest. Energy began to gather and in a swift action, a wave of flame was raining down upon him.

Tasuda turned his back to the oncoming flames and covered his head and tensed his body. He muffled his own screams of pain as his cloths were scorched and skin boiled. His eyes watered but the tears were quickly evaporated by the intense heat. Soon it was done and Tasuda fell to his hands and knees breathing deeply, his skin crispified and blackened like a swine that was cooked on an open fire. Though for him, he was not a swine, nor was he dead. He was far from done and soon the arrogant Changeling would know him, and what the Namekian spirit was made of.

He pushed off the ground fading in and out as he twisted his body around. He reached to grab the Changeling’s outstretched right hand, grabbing at the wrist and twisting it as he went under his right arm. He would twist that wrist so the palm was facing back locking his arm into place while his left palm came down to strike the weakened elbow and snapping it in half. He wanted to show this Changeling what a Namekian could do and that he was far from being careless..

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 8/29/2012, 2:28 pm

Wasted.

Sigea knew the meaning of this word but did the Namekian he was fighting know of it? Sigea thought to himself. He knew that the Namek had to know there wasn’t a chance in his winning. He was just avoiding the inevitable for the time being. It was wasted efforts if you knew what the outcome would be in any situation. Sigea scoffed at the idea that this Namek refused to bow to him and concede defeat like an honorable warrior. Be it pride, or stupidity; Sigea would make this Namek understand why he was known on several Planets as simply Furor.

Madness… in fact violent madness was a calling to him. It invited him to dance at the devils banquet as he served his opponents carved flesh to non other than the guardians of the afterlife. His attack had been dodged well, especially since the nature of the attack but it threw a small wrench into the plans of Sigea. The fire technique was blocked partially, but not without heavy damage. This was his strongest attack and it was partially blocked. “Impressive Namekian. But what do you think you can really do in a condition like that?” Sigea waited and as expected the Namekian came.

The speed the Namek was using was nowhere near impressive to the Icer. It was as If the Namek wasn’t moving at all and every action the Namek took let Sigea know how many opportunities he had to counter these strikes. The reach for his hand came s the Namek tried to grab his arm. The slow moving green hand disgusted Sigea as he was able to extend his right finger from the same hand and with a small void of light; a beam of red beam of energy, small and thin yet fast and power came out. This came at about the same time the Namek would try to grab him.

Sigea continued as a flurry of fast strikes came about, his hands moved continuously as his feet remained still, it was reminiscent of a machine gun with the rapid ammunition being fired. This was the Machine gun fist combination he had learned, moving faster than that of bullet time. He would end his barrage of offense with a hop step back to see what more the Namek had to offer.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 8/29/2012, 4:53 pm

Even in this universe, Tasuda was outmatched. His own attack failed after his back was burnt to a crisp. As Tasuda reached in there was a bright flash. His eyes widened as pain shot through his left side. There was no time to react as his body was hit violently with a series of punches. The Changeling retreated as Tasuda lost his focus and fell to the ground.

Feet touched down but his body was wracked with pain, forcing him to his knees. Blood seeped out of his wound from the beam that snuck in during his attack. His skin protested the stretching. It fought back with pain, but Tasuda’s body fought back. His own body was at war with itself while his will fought both. It was a battle royale within himself.

He fought to stand, and his will won the battle. Standing, his muscles fought but he remained. He looked at the one above him. A grin crossed his face. It was depressing he couldn’t win this fight. He absolutely hated it, but he also knew the treasures the afterlife provided and he knew he would be back. Who ever brought him here would not let him die quite so easily. King Kai would need to be visited and he would gain Kaio-ken again. A technique that always allowed him to compete with the toughest opponents.

His body here though was done. He wasn’t giving in, not yet, but there wasn’t much he could do. So he waited, he relaxed. He did what he could to regain something back and he prepared for whatever came at him. His second self, his image was ready to come out again. Once the Changeling moved even a finger, he was ready. He just couldn’t be duped and get feinted. He was a master of defense and he knew he could do this. He would make damn sure this Changeling remembered him for when he returned, he was going after him to send him to hell along with his entire race.

You time your strike, attacking your opponent before they can attack you. It is a single strike and cannot be matched with any augmentative abilities. Counter Attacks are very difficult to pull off and you must provide a detailed and realistic roleplay.

► 1 Action.
► It is possible for you to counter Strikes, Rush Attacks, Pummels, Heavy Smashes and Grapple Throws.

The Death Beam's damage is nullified. Carry on.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Sigea 9/3/2012, 4:37 pm

It was closing. The Battle between the Icer and the Namek had been drawing to a close. Sigea’s life force was just the same as he started and this was the opponent that Frost picked for him? Out of every Namek on this planet? He felt insulted, ridiculed and bewildered that such a weakling was thought to be a match for him. It wasn’t just his speed or his mind process. He was ahead of this green bean in every aspect of a warrior. He was an advanced species since his body and brain worked in qways the Namek could not even fathom. He watched as the Namek dropped down from the volley o attacks. Sure enough his death beam did not strike true at all but that did not matter. He had an array of things he could do, hell he could have ended this quickly but he decided to see what the Namek was capable of doing.

Moments passed as it seemed the Namek was taking a breather. Sigea crossed his arms and looked to the left and to the right. He saw the sun spraying its ray of light onto Namek. The water reflected lights of energy that were natural in its purest form, solar. This made Sigea wince at the very spectacle and in that same moment the ray of energy touched the light of the dark Namekians eyes. Sigea looked on as the shimmer of light seemed to not only shine in the Namek’s eyes but in his very presence. Did this Namek have some sort of strategy? Some sort of thought process that came out with him as the winner in this battle. To Sigea… there were no parts of this where the Namek would come out on top. His society believed in passive actions that took place over time and rarely ever sought conflict. Did he really believe such customs and principals would be enough to calm the ferocious flame of the Changeling and Icer Race?

Sigea’s tail began to wave upward and strike the ground rapidly as he was getting excited. His skin began to gain a slight glow to it as his aura came out, in a dim form though. His tail continued to breathe ground as his gaze turned into a seething and menacing look. He unfolded his arms and decided right here to snuff out that ray of hope. He would act like he was supposed to in this instance. The way of the Ninja… his training had taught him to be cold, unwavering and relentless. In his pursuit of the accomplished mission he would succeed any obstacle in front of him, terrain any landscape and forego what was needed to completely satisfy and live up to the creed of his craft.

His first step was the countdown to obliteration. His will marked the end of this Nameks joy. His second step symbolized the mission he was given. He had been dispatched to eliminate his target and thus he would do so. His third and fourth steps became light to the point of no sound could be heard as he had already mastered the form he was in and needed not to exert extra force in order to move. This could be seen as dedication. On the fifth and final step he would slowly fade from visualization. He used the ability taught to him by Icina to not be seen and to strike at the most vulnerable spot of a person’s body, their opening. Many were trained in fighting styles and there were times when openings were left so in those moments you could distinguish gaps in their strategy.

His body appeared on the right upper portion next to the Namek’s body. It was indeed a sneak attack, an ideal tactic of a Ninja. The attack itself was a well placed kick, using the full torque and motion of his torso to utilize the strength of his legs. If the kick had been successful it would stagger his opponent from the shock of it being very quick for a sneak attack. Sigea landed and spun while charging energy in his right hand. Upon rising he held the energy in his right hand as a orb of red energy encompassed his entire right fist. Upon reaching the height of standing, Sigea jumped with his right fist extended to deliver a ki ball attack directly to the face of the Namek. This was point blank and with continuing this slaughter of flesh Sigea would turn again while in air from his short hop and sent a swift strike to the midsection of the Namek via his legs, once again. This would knock the namek to the ground a few inches away if his attack had been a complete success.

First Battle of Fate Empty Re: First Battle of Fate

Post by Tasuda 9/3/2012, 8:16 pm

The two warriors just looked at one another. Tasuda knew he was done for, and this was now his plan. He would be back, and a hell of alot more powerful than he is now. Instead of fighting back, he took what was coming at him. Simply emptying his mind as his eyes closed, he stood there as the Changeling came at him. Either way he would win. Even if he didn’t return, he would be back at peace. So it was a win-win situation.

The attack came and he felt the blow as the kick struck him in his face. He staggered backwards, moved his foot back as he regained his balance. He took a deep breath as he relaxed his body for the next hit. He wasn’t going to try and fight back. His eyes were still closed. Only thing he wanted to do was end it and maybe return to kill him. His own head swam as he fought to stay conscious and on his feet.

“I will see you when I return.” He grinned. The blast struck him and everything ended. The pain that wracked his body was gone. His body only stood there as the changeling sent a kick to his midsection and sent the lifeless corpse flying over the cliff, down into the surf below that swallowed it up.

He was gone, dead, at peace once again. His soul would be transported to the afterlife where he would continue his training and prepare for his return. When he returned, this changeling would be one of the first he would come after. Just from what this creature had done, there was no doubt, he was a threat to this galaxy and like the rest of his race, he would die. He would die very slowly.
