Crono's father died when he was very young, so he was raised by his mom in the small village of Truce, which lies north of East City. Ever since he was a small boy, Crono had a knack for fighting, often times getting into scuffles at school. His mother, fearing he would become a brigand, decided to help him find a focus for all his aggression. She always told him he was just like his father. So, she sent Crono to live with his Uncle Enrich (Father's brother,) a reclusive martial artist who lived in the remote mountains.

Enrich was cold to Crono, but since he was his nephew, trained him in martial arts, to utilize his ki, and how to use the sword. During the height of their training, on a dark night, Enrich was killed by an assassin wearing a metal mask. Crono set out shortly after, to find a new teacher, and to hunt down his Master's assassin.

(For Customs) Background (150 words:) Aqua was born in the South Islands, and is about 18 years old. She comes from a middle class family and had lived a comfortable life. Her mother was a singer and her father a surfer, as a result Aqua has found a passion for both music and the ocean. She has a warm bright personality and likes to joke around whenever possible.
Around the age of 12 Aqua began having horrible night terrors. She soon found out she had inherited a family gift though to be long forgotten. She was a fate weaver. Not only could she see into the future, she could also move things with her thoughts.
Her parents were embarrassed that their golden child was now tarnished and sent Aqua away to schools for various trades often. She is currently on Roshi’s Island learning that she has yet another passion, martial arts and ki control. With enough discipline she hopes to gain control of her gift and put it to better use.

Born to a seemingly normal Earthling couple Ryouji (Ryo-jee) Nakashima was taught the same virtues and morals as did every child for the first years of his life. Ryouji was a happy little boy until one fateful day, when two men were fighting out in the street just outside his home. These were no ordinary men as their power far exceeded anything the six year old boy had ever seen. His mother yelled at him to get away from the windows, but as it is with all little boys, his curiosity got the better of him and he popped his head out to get a better view. The two men hurled orbs of light at one another and threw punches that destroyed whatever they came into contact with. It didn’t take long for one of these orbs of light to run astray crashing into the Nakashima home and exploding taking most of everything with it. When Ryouji woke, he saw his mother and father on top of him as lifeless corpses. In shock, he knew not what to do and when he looked out at the street he saw the two men still fighting, without regard to what damage they may have caused. It was then that the boy would cry for the last time.

Orphaned at a the young age of six, Ryouji found himself tossed around foster homes with no one to want him. His history always prevented the potential parents from investing any of their time in a boy who may already be emotionally scarred. After a few years have passed and five foster homes later, Ryouji took it upon himself to alleviate himself from the burden of his foster parents and ran away at ten years of age.

Life was not easy on the streets for a young boy as he had struggled for several months to find food and shelter. It wasn’t long before he was picked up by one of the gangs. They promised him food and shelter in return for acts of pickpocketing and thievery. He knew this was wrong for someone to force a child into acts of corruption, but being as young as he was he had no choice if he was to survive.

After years of stealing for food and shelter, the young boy started to become skilled in the art of pickpocketing and thievery, this of course drew attention to himself from the adults. One day an undercover police officer, working on the case of the pickpocketing children, caught the young man as he was about to make a grab. The officer gave no warning as he drew out his billy club and began striking at the back of the fourteen year old child.

Naturally, being caught, the boy had no one there beside him as his ‘friends’ in the gang pretended as though they never even knew him. The child was sentence to one year in lockup as the sole perpetrator in the string of robberies.

It was this point in his life that Ryouji discovered what the world really was. It was a corrupt world, filled with liars, cheats and hypocrites. He celebrated his fifteenth birthday in prison and it was then that a way to fix the corrupt world came to him. As he awoke Ryouji found that everything was far clearer, he could see better, he could hear better and he could even smell aromas he hadn’t ever smelled before. He found that he now possessed enough physical strength to bend the bars in the cell, but chose to fix them soon after. He needs not the law to find out about his newfound abilities. If they beat him for stealing a few coin purses, then who knew what they would do to a superhuman if they found out. So he chose to live out the few months he had left in prison and in that time better familiarize himself with his powers.

Once he was released he settled in West City where he could find the biggest house and purchased it with all the money he had hidden away. He now calls it home and is now dedicating his life to rid the world of all its corruption and create the world he wants.

It wouldn’t be until years later that the boy found out that his father was a former Shin who fell in love with an Earth woman and decided to live on Earth. He now had both the magical blood of a Shin and the survivalist blood of a Human. The world was now his oyster.

Usually, Y’lerl masquerades as a Tarnajin. Like most members of the species, she sports a light green skin tone and red, square shaped irises. The race’s other peculiar traits include opposable feet, a trait retained from their arboreal ancestors, and a prehensile tail which was evolved for similar purposes. Her reddish hair is drawn back into a ponytail and braided.

Her body is a touch on the short side for a Tarnajin, and she stands just over five feet tall. Her build is a little stocky, but noticeably fit. Her exact attire varies depending on the situation, but at the moment, she’s wearing a jumpsuit-like uniform given to prisoners of war. The suit is an aquamarine blue largely unmarked, save for an identification number to keep track of such individuals.

Y’lerl and her people come not from this dimension, or even this universe. Y’lerl is a Pta’nan, a race of advanced ultraterrestrials that monitor others in the hopes of gaining knowledge for undisclosed purposes. Y’lerl herself was raised to be an emissary and observer, with the Dragon World is her first official mission.

In order to observe native people, the Pta’nan change their forms in order to masquerade as normal individuals while taking notes on their behavior, customs, and culture. The first planet Y’lerl investigated was a war-stricken world in the outer arms of the northern galaxy. The planet has been at war with the Planet Trade Organization for eons, vying over their plentiful natural resources.

A report is given at the end of each solar cycle via the astral plane, the only way Pta’nan can communicate with beings from other universes without going there themselves. However, more than a month has gone by now without communication from Y’lerl. The species she had taken on the form of, the Tarnajin, have at reached the end of their war with the Planet Trade Organization, and they’ve lost. She has been taken as a prisoner of war, and boarded onto a ship heading for Freeza #79, likely to be interrogated or sold off as a slave.

Background:

Eliee was born to a race like few in the universe, beings made entirely of ki that had carved out a nigh-utopian society. Their homeworld is practically a living factory where A.I. take care of the populace, both tending to their individual needs and the world's legislature. Eliee herself was once a civilian medical practitioner, dealing primarily with a ki-based acupuncture-like therapy meant to help relieve stress. However, she's always been hot-blooded and adventurous for her race, always longing to go out there and do something with herself. One day, that opportunity came in an unexpected way.

Her planet has always been a cosmic sitting duck. Despite the planet's advanced society, her race lacks the ability to project their ki in a harmful manner due to their natural instability. The only military force the world has is purely mechanical, and even then it lacks punch. The PTO has long considered the world a target for invasion. Despite a lack of natural resources, the metals that cover the world are excellent for producing Flexweave, and the planet's structures could easily be destroyed anyhow.

The invasion came suddenly. A worldwide blackout from electromagnetic pulses left it helpless, and half of the surface was quickly decimated. Eliee was a lucky survivor, living in a smaller city on the outskirts of the world. However, her race's natural telepathy allowed news to spread quickly, and she quickly got word of a scientific project.

Specialized suits made of a unique alloy meant to channel ki had been developed at one point in time, but laid to rest, as there was no need for the race to involve itself in military interests. Some of these suits had been unearthed and a temporary government of renegades was interested in having them tested. However, the suits permanently bond with their hosts and give them an unusual appearance, so volunteers were few and far between.

Eliee decided to give herself up to the project, binding with a A.I.-enhanced suit that calls himself En. The twosome quickly became part of a battalion meant to stave off enemy invaders. Within a span of weeks, they managed to cripple the PTO's army. The decision was made that it was not worthwhile to invade the planet now that it had gained armed forces and they quickly retreated.

At the end of the war, Eliee and her small group of renegades became social outcasts for their appearance. Eventually, they met up with one another and decided it would be best to put their newfound talents to work elsewhere -- off world. They formed a twelve-man band of mercenaries called the Star Angels, dedicated to helping underdeveloped worlds fend off alien threats like the PTO.

Eliee has been listed in service to them for more than two decades. Her current mission focuses on tracking down a small PTO battalion that has its sights set on a backwater planet known as Earth. During a dogfight in space, however, her ship became grounded, stranding her on an unknown world.

Background (150 words): Ruurik was born 94 years ago on the planet Orco, when it was still known as such, his parents were both mid-level soldiers in the planet's defense forces. A member of the Orcosian race, not to be mistaken for Arcosians; the Orcosians were known throughout the galaxy for both their immense size and strength. The Orcosians were actually rather feared by much of the galactic community for they had a reputation for violence and piracy, they actually shared a home system with the Arcosians and were the reason the Arcosian's went to the Saiyans in search of a new planet. The Orcosians were rather prized warriors and were utilized by the Planet Trade Organization in a rather similar manner as the Saiyans "relocating" the inhabitants of planets. The Orcosian had many enemies however and eventually their enemies came together to take them out.

The remnants of several of the races whose home planets had been taken out by the Orcosians pooled their resources and hired the Saiyans for a job. The Saiyans sent many of their greatest warriors to take out Orco, having heard stories of Orcosian prowess in battle. When the Saiyans first arrived the battle was going in the favor of the Orcosians, who seemed to have many warriors that could match the Saiyan might. That was when the Orcosians got surprised however, for Orco was truly prime fighting ground for the Saiyans, for Orco had a several moons and had a full moon at least once a week. When the Saiyans transformed the Orcosians found themselves completely out matched, even their best warriors only being capable of slowing down the monstrous Saiyans. It took almost three weeks to wipe Orco of life due to the fierce efforts of the Orcosians, with the end of Orco however did not come the end of the Orcosians.

When the Saiyans first transformed the Orcosian pirates that scoured much of the galaxy returned the home world and began evacuating everyone they could. Due to the efforts of their pirate brethren several thousand Orcosians survived the Battle of Orco, Ruurik was lucky to count himself among them. Ruurik hadn't participated in the battles against the Saiyans, for despite being over 50 years old he was still almost 30 years from adulthood amongst his long lived race. Witnessing the destruction of his home world while being helpless to stop it had lit a fire in Ruurik though, a burning to desire to restore Orco to his people and see the Saiyans pay for what they had done. This led Ruurik, who was considered a runt amongst his people, into a life of combat something that would've been unheard of on Orco due to his size. Ruurik trained relentlessly and while his power eclipsed many past Orcosian warriors the fire in him had been lit in many other Orcosians who trained just as hard and had an advantage of size that the runtish Ruurik did not have.

Ruurik was often ostracized by other members of his race for despite his power many cold not get past their people's old discrimination against the shorter members of their race. Even after reaching full maturity at age 80 and standing at 8 foot Ruurik was considered tiny, as those who were considered "small" by the Orcosians usually stood at around 9 feet tall. Due to this Ruurik eventually left his pirate brothers in search of a place more accepting of him, he found little such comfort though. Originally he went to the Planet Trade Organization, who while more then happy to accept Ruurik into the fold many of them made fun of Ruurik's "immense' size. It was their that Ruurik learned that size was really a matter of perspective, considered a runt amongst his own people Ruurik was a giant to most of the other races. Ruurik had trouble with the duties assigned to him by the Planet Trade Organization, for taking planets from others while seeking vengeance for the planet taken from your people didn't bode well for him. So Ruurik left the employ of the Planet Trade Organization, searching for a place where he could be accepted by others while still managing to become more powerful, in hopes of one day returning to Orco. Ruurik didn't find this very easily though, many people still feared his race and those who didn't usually found some other reason to ostracize him. Ruurik eventually found himself on Earth, the people here seemed no more accepting of him then anywhere else but at least there was vast wildernesses that he could use to avoid them.

I want to be the boss.

Lei remembered repeating the words in his head as he stepped forward, looking down at the old man in the coffin. The elder had been like a father to him, plucking the young boy off the streets, training him in the ways of martial arts and introducing him to the Triad way of life. It had been good to him, if not dangerous. But now his mentor, the only father figure he had ever known, was dead. Old age had taken him. A rare way to go for a triad boss.

Now he sat in a parlor in his best suit, several of his friends behind him and at his side. All of the high ranking members of this particular Triad family were present, each putting on the illusion of dignity and respect, each sharing the same thought as Lei.

I want to be the boss.

Lei was easily the youngest one there. The man accompanying him were mostly young too, though a few older ones were with him. Despite the fact that a Triad had to show absolute loyalty to the head of the family, funerals always made it obvious that there were various camps within a family, each of them one day hoping to take control. And today that control would be handed over.

The wife and daughter of the former boss entered the room in traditional clothing, and what little small talk had been in progress was stopped. This was the moment of truth, when they would find out who the old boss had picked as successor. Lei knew it would be him. He had been the son the old man never had. It would only be right.

The combination of surprise and indignation on his face when his name wasn't called was obvious. While others his their disappointment, Lei Mengyao openly displayed his. He stood from his seat in a huff, adjusting his tie as he looked around the room. It was a clear violation of etiquette, but he didn't care. He was young and impulsive. Without a word he turned his back and marched out of the house. Those who had come with him looked at one another, silently debating their course of action. They chose to remain. Lei's action was just as good as open treason and they knew he would be marked.

As Lei strode out of the mansion his eyes were focused forward, burning with rage and a desire for power. He knew on that day the old ways were over, and his goal had never been clearer. He would become the strongest Triad in the world, and he would do it in spite of tradition.

The Saiyans and the Korosians. The Saiyans were the worst. They arrived on his homeworld and killed everyone. Not that he lost anyone he cared about. He was a drunk, a loser on his world. He did nothing with his life. He feared death, he feared injury, but his family was a line of Warriors. They were Generals of the Rendanian Paladins. The ultimate force on Renda. But on his world, if you didn’t follow the path of your family, you were worthless. Thus he came to Terathola, seeking the one name Ian Lancaster who was looking for soldiers. Maybe he could become great under his watchful eye and destroy the Saiyans for the obliteration of his race. It was simply a matter of honor. He had nothing else, maybe he could redeem himself.
