Guardian of Earth

Edward is wandering around in the hopes of finding the Guardian of Earth, whom he learned was named Kami. He is a warrior and a teacher. Edward is walking near a grove of trees and thinking about what to say to Kami when he meets him. As he passes by the last of the trees, the grasses and such that had not too long ago flourished, had just stopped growing here. It was a rough area that was needed to be passed through and very hot. With the heat pouring upon him from above, he searches for a nearby stream or puddle to drink from, the heat making him sweat out all his much needed water for the trip.

Edward finds a large tree near a stream to camp under, to catch his breath and cool off for a while. After taking off his small pouch of belongings and hanging it on a low branch, he sits down. He dozes off and is awoke a few hours later by a weird noise. He looks around a bit and, after noticing nothing wrong, puts his pouch back on and continues his search for Kami.

Edward reaches the spot where Korin's Tower is set and looks into the sky to find the top. He begins flying straight towards the top of the tower that he can barely see from the base. When the top of the tower is reached, Edward lands and looks for Kami's Lookout. After searching above the tower and finding a dark speck in the sky, Edward decides that is his destination and heads out, flying towards the speck that is slowly enlarging with every passing minute.

Nearing Kami's lookout, Edward can now make out things around the island in the sky. A few trees around the island, and a tower at every corner of the building can now be seen. Landing at the far end of Kami's Lookout, Edward looks around and takes in his surroundings. "So I flew all the way up here now where's Kami?!"
