Cell floated in the sky above his target. He and Broly had actually coordinated doing this some time ago, simply to prove a point. Partly, it was a competition between the two, see who could better kill a master Martial artist. The other part was from Ryouji, who decided it would also be a good idea to weaken Earth's standing forces who would oppose them. The green monster couldn't fault either part of it, but he personally had a different stake in this.

Ever since his 'rebirth' he had noticed some things off. Fighters he had never even sensed on Earth were roaming around. Some Organization was collecting Dragonballs and they themselves held enough power that it would have garnered his attention before. Kami wasn't part of Piccolo. That alone was startling, considering he figured fusion by whatever technique they had used was permanent. He didn't know much about any techniques like that, despite a few of his cells come from Piccolo. Still, he knew that he could get the proof he needed here. After all, if he could absorb Roshi he would gain any memories of his that he had gained since the original sample of his blood had been taken.

It would also serve to boost his own strength, and test how far he had come since he had been reborn. He was still far weaker, but he had come a great distance from the starting point, and it was about time he found a checkpoint. He had many attacks still inaccessible to him, but Roshi possessed some of those. It couldn't hurt to learn some again, like the original Kamehameha which the one he was nearly destroyed by was based upon.

It was because of these reasons, that he floated above the famous 'Turtle Hermit Dojo'. It was a quaint little establishment out in the countryside. It was isolated, which was a good thing for Cell. After all, he had been avoiding major population centers for a reason. He had debated for a few moments about how to approach this. After all, he likely had a few talented students nearby but compared to Roshi they would just be snacks. The master himself was not one to take lightly, he had lived and experienced so much that Cell could easily attribute a large portion of his experience base off of his cells.

He had memories of many battles the man had been part of, and that let him know how much of a difficult opponent he could prove to be. He had a truly strong heart, unlike many of the people he had encountered lately. He would do what was needed to win, regardless of his body. It didn't mean he was haphazard about it, and that made him even more dangerous. If he wanted to, he could be an amazing killer, but his heart didn't lean in that direction.

Cell decided that the best action, would be to come in full force. He had the advantage of his ki not being noticeable thanks to Gero's manipulations of his cells. Despite hating even that human, he had to admit that the man was a genius. His energy was made so that it was constantly in a flux until the moment of it needed used. He was constantly absorbing his own energy, with 100% efficiency. It was probably one of the greatest things done involving the manipulation in energy collection, microbiology, and cloning. Because of that, he had the advantage of a nearly perfect sneak attack.

Cell's right hand lifted to his left side. Energy welled up within his body and moved towards his arm. Soon it gathered at the tips of his fingers. He knew he could use this in one of two ways, but only one really seemed practical. He drew his hand slowly in front of him, allowing the energy to leak out in a way that caused it to be hard and brittle. It stayed in front of him for a moment, as he eyed his target. This would definitely be the right call for now, allowing him a wide-spread shot that would easily hit all areas of the dojo. If he was lucky, it would even hurt Roshi a good deal. He often found that he simply was not a lucky man, either in his favor, or against him.

He lifted his right hand once more, and gave the glass-like line of energy a simple thump. It shattered instantly, which was to be expected. It formed many sharp slivers of ki, which housed razor-like sides. They hovered for a mere instant, before shooting forwards in a manner similiar to bullets, only faster of course. A bullet had next to nothing on the speed of these little devils. Cell had been sure to make the attack wider than normal, to keep them a far density while hitting the entire Dojo. He had to be thorough if nothing else.

He watched as they easy pierced the building in a short but sustained assault, making mincemeat out of the place as it pierced it, making it what would soon to be known as the former Turtle Hermit Dojo. He continued to wait until after the attack had ended. He was not a fool, and he most certainly was not Broly. Who he was sure was currently smashing his way directly into combat. It was his style, but not Cell's. At least, not normally. He sometimes enjoyed the feeling of rushing into combat headlong and destroying everything he saw.

Despite wanting to rush and taste Roshi's meat, he knew he must be patient and wait. The master-class fighter probably would not be killed so easily, and Cell would not lose his vantage point for no reason. He watched while a few sections of the roof collapsed inwards, and he chuckled to himself as he allowed his energy to replenish itself somewhat from the attack. It was draining, but he figured it had been worth it.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Game Master 6/11/2012, 9:57 pm

Master Roshi was alone that night.

He carefully sat in deep meditation, in communion with his friend, Kami of the Kami House. He oft spoke to the Namekian defender in the loneliest of nights, when the wolves were on the prowl and howling at the moon. Roshi had become restless in his old age. After training the various defenders of Earth, his dojo had lost much of it's former fame. It was older now, and a place that was slowly being forgotten as more and more martial artists flocked towards the damned Capsule technology. Roshi's heart was heavy. He had always served the side of light when it came down to it, but those nights, he could not felt the impending hour of doom upon him. I am old. Roshi thought to himself, and he knew it. He had never been weak, but he was not strong like he was in youth. Is the hour upon me now? Roshi thought as he stared at the image of Kami. As the two talked quietly in the dark, something happened.

Roshi had gotten careless.

A powerful attack cascaded around the walls of the dojo, and it pummeled it. The roof came crashing down, and the image of Kami faded away into the dark. Roshi studied the caving in structure and for a moment, just a brief moment, he pondered letting it end him right then and there. However, the old man was not weak. He had room for one last show. One last show. And he reacted about half a second into the initial assault. As the building caved in all around him, Roshi used his Psychic Powers to focus on the most immediate threat, the section of building atop of him. Roshi's shades shone brightly for the briefest of moments as his tremendous ki flared out quickly. Roshi screamed loudly. Was it anger? Or something far darker fueling him. As the shards of energy shot through the building, one or two did hit him. They pierced through his flesh and hurt like hell.

For months since that exact moment of the attack, Roshi had sensed that something was coming. He had no idea that it was the monster known as Cell.

Releasing the psychic powers, a coldness touched his heart. I am alone. I will fight alone, and I will die alone. A grim expression touched his face, and he could not help but smile. The hour is upon me now. He held the top portion of the dojo with ease. He had mastered the psychic powers long ago. Waving his hand in a mysterious gesture, he saw the portion of the building he was holding be tossed to the side like so much trash. My dojo... Roshi could not help but feel a certain sense of sadness as his dojo literally crashed down upon his head. Nobody will come fix this...my life's work... Roshi growled and his glance shot up towards the perpetrator of that foul act. What are you! Roshi did not know the name of his enemy. Nor had he known it's face, simply, the mask that he wore. It appeared like a dangerous foe nonetheless. What is that thing?! Roshi's quick mind worked to gather the facts of his opponent. He had no idea at the same time, somewhere else, Shen was under attack.

Roshi studied the creature before him. He is no push-over, I must be cautious. Roshi readied his combat position. He would fight as he always had, in brutal melee combat. Close quarters. Roshi's powerful Ki flared around his person. His eyes glowed with power even beneath the shades he wore. Roshi growled out loud.

"I don't know how you got here, or what it is you think you are after. But I beg of you, cease your attack!" Roshi attempted to reason with the creature, if it had any sort of reasoning, perhaps it would listen to him.

Roshi needed to bide time to analyze the creature before him and come up with a suitable plan of attack. He's strong, damn it. So this is the form that the ol' reaper will take tonight? Roshi was not afraid. In fact, strangely enough, Roshi wore a smile on his face. The right side of his lip curled upward. Roshi's powerful heart beat with excitement as he stared at the monster. He was thankful for his shades, for they hid the fury and the storm in the old man's eyes. If Roshi were to perish, he would be ready, he would face his fate.

But I am going to be certain to make the bastard remember me.

Roshi hadn't realized how much the piercings of the blast-shards had actually hurt him.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Broly 6/11/2012, 10:40 pm

Takes one action. A block occurs anytime you redirect a blow to lessen the amount of harm it causes you. For example, knocking a punch away or crossing your arms in front of you right before a ki blast hits. It is important to know that blocking still hurts you a bit. If you block an ability with an attack rating 3 or higher, you will gain half the amount of rage you normally would. When blocking you compare your endurance to your opponent's strength (if it's a physical attack) or ki (if it's an energy attack.) If your endurance is higher than your opponent's attack score, you gain FP equal to 25% of the FP they gained from using the attack. If your endurance is lower than your opponent's, you gain FP equal to 50% of the FP they gained using the attack (before FP reductions based on Ranks and other misc benefits.) If your opponent uses an ability that takes two actions, you must use two actions to block it.

The literal definition of a block; now we'll look at the literal definition of evade.

Takes one action. Evading is when you flee away from an attack instead of letting it hit you. When evading you compare your agility to your opponents strength (if it's a physical attack) or ki (if it's an energy attack.) If your agility is higher than your opponent's attack score, you gain FP equal to 50% of the FP they gained using the attack. If your agility is lower than your opponent's, you gain FP equal to 75% of the FP they gained using the attack (before FP reductions based on Ranks and other misc benefits.) If your opponent uses an ability that takes two actions, you must use two actions to evade it.

I rule this as a BLOCK, as opposed to an evasion. As such, Roshi would still take partial damage (likely rating 2-3 in scope/damage), and that Roshi should deduct the proper amount of FP from his current amount. Roshi's endurance is under half of Cell's attack power, meaning that 50% is to be deducted. The damage will be considered rating 3 (as the block was creative and well written).

Cell watched as his needles destroyed the dojo, and noticed a piece floating above the rest. He would have smiled if he had not been limited by having a beak instead of a mouth. That aggravated him so, because he could feel himself trying to smirk, and it wouldn't happen. He wondered if he'd ever have the ability to do that again, but that was a matter for another time. He was wanting to smile, because somewhere deep inside him, he was happy he got to fight this man. His opponent slung the large chunk of building to the side effortlessly. He was far more proficient with the use of his mind in that manner than Cell was. He had lost a great deal of his abilities even in that regard.

The old man glared at him. Cell knew he was, even through his sun glasses, he could feel it. It was impressive, his level of mastery. With a single glare Cell could feel his own aura shift just the slightest amount as he subconsciously acknowledged the beast he had just awoken. That mattered little to him though, as he would do what he did to all the disgusting creatures in his sight. He would put him down, he would do it maliciously, mercilessly and with extreme prejudice and viciousness. More to the point he would eat him.

He watched him take an offensive-based stance, ready for combat. His opponent obviously wanted melee combat. That was fine, because he himself had a preference for it as well. He enjoyed feeling his claws tear into flesh, enjoyed tasting the blood of his opponents. He enjoyed watching them cringe in pain and more so he enjoyed watching there eyes as they realized they were going to die. It left him with an after glow to see the eyes go dim as the soul and intelligence left the body. He doubted he'd see such a thing from Roshi unless he was incapable of eating him due to some unforeseen circumstance. It was just before he went in for the attack, that Roshi spoke to him.

"I don't know how you got here, or what it is you think you are after. But I beg of you, cease your attack!"

He said, and it seemed to Cell he must be trying to bide his time. After all, he was fighting something that at least looked horrifying. Cell didn't have much to say, because he was here to kill the old bastard. He decided to humor him while he was killing him. Besides, everyone was entitled to at least a conversation before they die. If the monstrous creation of Gero had anything to say about it, it would be a terrifying one. He reached into the pouch on his chest, which was hidden under teh shiny portion of his body that he took from the Changling race, and produced a small flask. He drank the substance in one gulp, and could almost instantly feel the affects. His muscles bulged and his tendons filled with energy. He waited a moment, taking this in and further gathering his own energy reserves back. He then rushed in quickly, deciding upon his usual course of action to really open the combat up.

His flight was effortless, thanks once again to Gero's manipulation. Quick flight with no energy consumption. He had no idea how he had accomplished such a feat, but he was sure it would be something people would find a miracle of science. He simply found it useful. He came in fast as he pushed his fingers together and aimed his claws carefully. The first attack was a powerful raking blow aimed for the left eye, but anyone who knew Cell well enough would know that this and the next attack was just to set up his real attack. That was despite two facts, one was that no one knew him well, and the other was that this attack still held the possibility of severe damage. He spoke during this initial charge.

"Why?" was the only word he spoke, in his strange voice. It was deep and raspy a hiss just barely audible behind the words. He did not stop his attack for this.

The monster spun around using the momentum of behind his first attack to increase the power and speed of the rotation. His tail came in next, aiming to pierce into the wrinkling flesh of the old master around the abdomen. If he was to connect, that alone would be damage to the liver, but he didn't expect it to hit either and would continue his spin of attacks unaffected. Since the first attack, he had been charging energy into his left index finger. It would definitely be a powerful strike if it connected.

He pointed his said index finger at Roshi's throat, as he stared into the black sunglasses that protected his eyes. It would be a shame that if the attack hit, he would miss the eyes of his opponents going wide from the damage and from choking. He figured with this mans endurance, it wouldn't pierce or kill him though he intended to try. He did know that it would have to at least debilitate him, after all, it was a powerful ki blast to the throat.

Thanks to the transformation in the previous actions, Roshi was prepared. His enemy, still unknown, rushed at the old master with a wild attack. Roshi saw the attack coming but was not planning to get hit. Instead, he leaped backwards to perform an graceful evasion. Once he landed a few paces behind the monster, he looked in the general direction of it. He stared at his assailant and growled, Roshi had developed a plan. The creature's tail connected with nothing but air as Roshi charged up his power for an elegant attack of his own. Quickly, he summoned up the power he'd been storing. It was a preview of what he would unleash upon the creature before him. Roshi's body began to glow with tremendous power provided by his Empowerment transformation. The light in his eyes lit up the shades he wore briefly and the old man put his hands together, releasing stored power. It was the secret technique taught to all masterful students of the turtle hermit dojo. He thrust his hand forward and yelled a simple, but elegant word. "Ka...me...haaaa...me....HA!" He released the powerful blast at close range and attempted to burn the creature where it stood.

Roshi felt the blistering power affecting his environment around him.

The energy released had always left a burning singe in the air, and could cause serious potential damage.

Roshi growled as he held on to his power, letting the mighty attack flicker for as long as he could sustain it. His muscles buldged, and the shirt portion of his Master's Gi was open at that point revealing the physically fit nature of the old man. He was no slouch. At the same time though, the subtle icy chill of fear touched his heart. The creature before him had come with the very serious mission of attempting to end him. Roshi learned in the brief moment of their encounter, that he could not physically counter the beast, but he could at least attempt blocks or evades. That would suffice. Roshi had to be quick on his feet if he was to survive the challenge of the hour. He was alone, and nobody would come to help him. Roshi continued to stare as the beam slowly fizzled out of the air in front of him. He hoped that the creature's arrogant assault would have caught him in the midst of the blast. He hoped beyond hope for a successful hit.

He took another step backwards after the blast subsided. Tendrils of energy still coiled through the air visibly. Roshi could see a cloud of debris and dirt ahead and his vision had become obscured. He still had no means of sensing the creature before him. Stepping backwards once more, he decided on a gamble. He would begin that gamble on the next turn and prepare to release another assault. He just needed time! Time is what I don't have! Roshi thought to himself as he waited to see the damage done by his attack. Somewhere in the night, a wolf called out to the moon, a lonely and somber sound. Roshi turned his attention to that sound for a moment and then returned his gaze to where he presumed the monster's next attack would come from. Roshi was genuinely worried for his well being at that point. Roshi had not not noticed the nature of the injuries he had actually gotten in his attempt to dodge. Old age would prove his undoing. In his haste, he had not noticed the tail that had come in to swipe him at the last moment, and it had connected, with his outer skin. A deep gash rested in his lower abdomen area. But his hot blood was pumping through his veins like battery acid.

He did not notice how badly he was hurt. He would not until it was too late. For the next few moments, he rested up a bit, attempting to catch his breath.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Cell 6/13/2012, 7:39 pm

Cell stood as he watched the old fool in front of him gather energy for what would probably be a strong ki based attack. He had mentally berated himself for missing with his Death Beam. His tail had managed to leave a nice gash in Roshi's chest. He was already beginning to look like he was on the losing side. After all, so far he hadn't been able to do any damage to Cell and the green monster had put a gash and a few holes into him. At this rate he would lose without so much as scratching Gero's creation. He heard the howl of a fool towards the moon above them.

He always wondered why those predators did that. It had to be some type of call, or warning to others about their territory. To Cell that was pointless, all of Earth was currently his hunting grounds, and this man happened to be there. It couldn't be said that this was an easy target however, as Cell was already feeling the effects of his prolonged assault towards the old master of martial arts. Despite the assault, Roshi did not seem too discouraged. He was obviously planning something, and that meant Cell was planning to crush that plan. It was a bit of a game to him, allow his opponent to gain some ground just to crush him into the dirt. It was a trap of sorts.

As Cell walked towards his opponent, he saw the hand gestures, the stance, and most importantly he heard the words being chanted rymthically as the attack was prepared. He had been correct, this attack would do a significant amount of damage to his body if he was hit. Luckily for him, this buffed up fool did not know what he was dealing with. He watched as even the dark glasses he wore lit up from the large amounts of power he was gathering. He pushed his hands forward, launching the blue beam of destruction towards the monster. Cell could only think one thing "Hmm...food on delivery.

he extended one hand towards the blast. If this had been any other warrior besides Cell or perhaps Broly, this would be an extremely fool hardy thing to do. However, he was Cell, and so this was not such a thing. The blue beam slammed into his hand, pushing him back even as he stood firm. His hands burned from the heat and energy. However, instead of pushing forward the beam was now being pulled. Gero had put the technology to absorb energy in this manner into Cell, even without the strange jewels in his palms.

Eventually, only strings and tendrils of energy remained as even they were pulled into his body. He could feel the energy moving through him and empowering him even more. His body involuntarily producing a slight glow as a dim aura appeared. It soon vanished as the energy was cycled through his body properly. He looked at his hand, noticing small cuts and burns on it, as well as partway up his forearm. It stung pretty badly, but nothing that the monstrosity couldn't shake off. However, now that his appetizer was done, he decided to get a bit of the main course.

He used the newly gained energy to fuel his body. He pushed it into his tendons and muscles. He wanted to increase the explosive force of his movement to aid him in attacking him opponent, taking him by surprise using his increased speed. He wasn't sure if it would work, but it was better to do this than not. His body moved quickly enough to be a blur. He made it even hard to see him by moving low to the ground and attacking from under his opponents guard.

He pushed both hands forward as he got close. and while at first seemed like he would try to pierce his opponent with his claws that would be incorrect. He was attempting to place his palms onto the stomach of his target. The torse held most of the energy, though this would work on any body part he figured this would hasten the chance of it working. If his palms made contact he would immediately begin to drain more and more the old fools energy, weakening his target and making himself stronger in the process.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Game Master 6/15/2012, 12:37 am

How!? Roshi swore to himself when he saw the end-results of what should have been a decent attack on his part. It absorbs energy, crap, what am I supposed to do now!? Roshi thought to himself as he stood there in a temporarily stupefied state. However that moment quickly passed and Roshi's mind was back in the situation at hand. The monster was upon him once more and he felt something pulling at his very life-energy. His ki. Damn it, this is not good! Roshi's shades shined brightly against his ki being pulled out from him. Instinctively, Roshi cleared his mind for the next part of what he presumed would be the end-curtain calls. Roshi did not want it to end there, he had too many things left to do in his life. Probably overestimating the skill level of the creature, Roshi was facing the unknown. And that green monster in the dark terrified him to no end because he knew it was the face of the reaper come to finish him. The only thing that he had no knowledge of was a name for the wearer of the mask before him, nor a way to measure it's power level.

Roshi had never faced such an opponent before.

When the wind stirred before him, Roshi assumed that his opponent was coming right at him. That was even before his quick eyes spotted him at the last possible moment. It was more a matter of luck than any true skill that Roshi possessed, but he had spotted the creature coming directly at him. That was when he acted. Accessing an ability he was seldom forced to use, Roshi attempted to fall back to the basics. He would need them and a clear cut strategy if he was to survive.

Sometimes, it didn't take a complicated strategy to win. Sometimes it was all a matter of taking advantage of the unknown and using old skills that were practiced in youth millions of times over. Though his age was a detriment against him, he moved with all the skill he could muster. It was a brave movement on his part, he saw the monster lower it's center of gravity and attempt a reach for his stomach area. I can't let him finish me here. Roshi thought grimly as he focused more on the event that was about to occur. When the monster's hands touched against his forearms, the power sent a shock wave across the grounds of the dojo. The shock wave was a brilliant energy disruption that was a representation of both of their auras clashing. Upon impact against the monster, Roshi's block hurt. Roshi felt tremendous pain against his flesh where the monster touched him and felt as if all of his few remaining positive emotions were leaving him. More importantly, it somehow felt as though the monster were draining at his very will to live. Such power!

Roshi thought to himself as he felt his forearms burning under the monster's touch. He knew the feeling of being drained would be worse if he had allowed the creature to touch him in the way that it initially intended to. Roshi growled. "Unhand me, you beast!" He cursed after his masterful defense was activated. Holding his arms in a particular blocking technique, he had taking the assault dead on. Quite literally.

"If you want energy so bad, why didn't you say so!" Roshi still had fight left for one last dance, one last show. "I have plenty left to give!" Then Roshi seemed to have vanished for a moment as he accessed yet another seldom used, but ancient technique. The technique itself was rather a simple one, and whilst within it's grasp, the world seemed to slow down for Roshi. Roshi ran in an attempt to get behind the monster, and once in range, he released a quick acting side kick towards the lower back of the creature. He hoped it would connect beyond hope. Roshi knew he was strong, but it seemed as if the monster had an edge on him. Maybe it was his age detriment, maybe it was another modifier working against him. He would never know. The only thing he did know was that the monster was a threat to his safety and well being, and probably a threat to most of the living world as well. I have to stop it here. Roshi thought to himself as his kick was extended forward and he hoped beyond hope that it would connect and give him even the slightest edge.

The creature before him was too powerful for him to counter. That was one more tool he could not use. Furthermore, it was impossibly fast and capable of absorbing his ki attacks, that was also now out of the question. Roshi was running out of options, the last thing he had going for him was a bit of cleverness and hopefully, a little bit of luck. If I can just trick this thing...maybe I have a chance... Roshi thought to himself once again. But slowly, he could feel despair creeping in his heart. As more and more of his capacity was placed out of the picture by the creature before him, Roshi knew that he was only delaying the inevitable. Perhaps, that was what hurt the old warrior the most. More than any other fact was the fact that he stood to loose so much. A dojo could be rebuilt, but the skill he possessed, and the power at his fingertips, that would take a lifetime to replace. And here, this thing before me has read through all of my actions. As if it planned this whole thing out, as if I was nothing more than a puppet to be pulled by the strings that it commanded. By the will of Kami, please don't let it end like this...not when I'm so close...

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Cell 6/15/2012, 9:04 pm

" Unhand me, you beast!" Roshi said as Cell's hands gripped onto his forearms. For a moment both his power and Roshi's clashed heavily against one another. Brilliant lights lit up the night. The ground under them began to burn from the heat, but it would not last long. Cell was not clashing, he was not forcing something upon the old bastard. He was taking part of what he came here for. He could almost immediately feel his own energy reserves increasing as the energy was taken from his opponent. He himself had no idea what it would feel like to have your energy drained away. After all it was your life essence, one could die from expending too much. He did not care, as he couldn't foresee himself in a situation that would actually come to a conclusion of him being drained. He was however, fairly pleased that he could see pain in the old mans face.

"If you want energy so bad, why didn't you say so! I have plenty left to give!" He shouted. It was defiant, and rightly so. Cell was an embodiment of perfection and death. All who he came across were judged, either to be worthy of being part of his perfection or dying as they're imperfections were cast to the side. Roshi was going to be part of his perfection, he had mastered so much and Cell could tell already he was not the same as his memories and experiences had told him. He was not sure why, but he would find out as soon as he claimed his prize.

It was fast, incredibly so, as even Cell's advanced and trained eyes where fooled. A mark of just how much this man was worthy of becoming part of him. However, he had made a mistake. The green monster knew of this ability thanks to his genetic structure being comprised partly of Roshi's. More importantly, was how the sense's worked. The brain was a biological processor, and a damn good one at that. Most sensory input was processed in a certain order of importance. Sight was behind touch because touch also possessed the part that let you know you were hurt. That something was causing you pain. Though the brain processes things so quickly that it happens at nearly the same time, Gero had made some 'improvements'. Cell could process things much faster than a normal human, though 'much faster' was measured in increments of time so small that they seem negligible it would matter here.

He had felt Roshi move before his eyes could process where that he was gone. Cell made a guess, based solely on knowing his opponent and how badly his opponent was forced into a corner currently. He was going to attack from behind, probably with a kick. Cell couldn't be sure where it would be aimed but he had to go with his instincts, since this whole process of thoughts were happening in an instant without much actual cognitive acknowledgement not happening until after the event transpired. His tail moved up and into the air, the powerful muscles in it hardening as he suddenly felt a great force slam into it. He skidded forward on the ground and he could feel his carapace break under the force. " This old bastard still has the will to fight, but I'm going to torture his mind for breaking my carapace if I get the chance. Fuck" He thought to himself.

The needle tip of his tail was originally facing the sky as it blocked the attack. Pain was surging through it as the muscle and tissue under the broken carapace was bruising over. Cell was no stranger to pain, and he damn sure was not a stranger to working through it to kill some insolent asshole who would deliver such a thing. The end of his tail began to glow brightly with pink energy. He had never actually done this before, but the fact that he was getting quite annoyed by this point fueled the idea.

After just a moment of gathering energy, the tail fired a powerful overcharged version of the Death Beam. It was aimed directly for Roshi's chest. He hoped he would be able to do significant, if not lethal, damage with this. After all, the human was not in the best shape. More importantly this attack was fast, burning the air as it craved a way towards it's opponent. It had such heat and power behind it that it would easily burn a whole into the ground, and scorch the dirt black.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Yamcha the banned 6/16/2012, 4:54 pm

Yamcha floated down as he spotted Cell begin to absorb the legendary turtle master who was having a stroke. He was in shock, how can a creature be so desperate for power and do such an evil thing. He suppressed his pl to sixty five of his true potencial and put his hand on his sword hilt which was by his left thigh and spoke telepathically to Fox Spade. (Roshi has been taken from us…we must avenge his death by taking down this creature

Fox Spade had his own troubles. Sheathing his sword and using the art of the afterimage, the Death Beam went right through the false image He now appeared a few feet closer to cell and attempted to land a hard ultra punch to the torso of Cell while in mist of the speed boost from the afterimage technique His hopes were to severly hurt his organs as a way of keeping his opponent off balanced and slowed down. After attempting to perform this maneuver, he took to the skies backwards and safely away.

Yamcha knew that it was his turn and that now was the time to try one of his strongest attacks. He shot down fast, gathering a powered aura that was emerald green as he came down. As he rushed down, both of his hands were raised for a spike. Now getting close enough to launch his attack, he attempted to slam both of his balled up fists into Cell’s skull in hopes of bewilderering his opponent..

He knew that Ki woulden’t work on the construct so he decided to use Jin based moves on the creature. Yamcha then jumped back two and a half feet from Cell and got into a martial arts stance similar to the wolf technique he loved and adored. He then grinned. “Are you ready for my WOLF FANG FIST?!” And within moments, a blue wolf shot forward towards cell and as the wolf pounced apon cell, Yamcha attempted to launch numerous kicks apon the construct. He then got around cell and two wolf heads attempted to bite cell’s tail. If successful, the wolf fang fist attack would became a grapple throw as The Wolf Champion would then attempt to spin Cell around and hurl him outside of the turtle school dojo, sickened by what happened and blaming himself for not getting there in time to save Master Roshi, Master of the Turtle Stance.

Post by Broly 6/16/2012, 5:42 pm

Another Wild Opponent has appeared! They Also use Intervention!!

Edit #1: Also, Yamcha; your minion's stats also need to be listed alongside yours. Psychic Powers also costs 5 FP. Also, "Check Wiki" does not suffice for a technique list. Please, post a link to it or list it. It is simply polite and proper to link to your wiki in at least one post. Roshi, as you can see, did so; Cell provided a list. Thank you for the above mentioned edits; just remember the small stuff!

Edit #2:On top of that, there is no room to shove anyone in to; do not edit that part out of your post, it is ruled to have failed. Master Roshi clearly described the crumbling school. His fate is left up to his own actions. Nor may you edit the following:

Within moments they were at the school. They stopped emitting auras and floated in mid air. Fox Spade gripped the hilt of his samurai sword, his eyes glowing with strong psionic energy as he used his mind to locate the attacker of Roshi, his eyes glowing as a large chunk of the wall ripped from it’s foundations and was rocketing from behind Cell at a alarming speed in an attempt to catch him off guard.

There is no wall to throw; the school has, as previously stated, crumbled. Make sure you pay attention to the posts of your opponents.

Edit #3: Also, your minion cannot launch a Kamehameha if he is already utilizing 2/2 actions. This is also deemed as ineffective/never launched.

Keep your chin up, pal! Don't get discouraged and keep on trucking, and the Wolf Dragon may just come out on top of this!

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Kid Trunks Banned 6/16/2012, 6:18 pm

Trunks was flying in an unknown area. He was having a blast, I mean what more could he ask for? The wind was warm but cool enough to give him a rush every time it brushed against his skin. Trunks will find that this day will end up to be the worst. He heard loud noises coming from below. "a battle?!" Trunks shouted as he took off to the ground "Goten will not believe this!" As he got closer he could see clearly two sides on this battle 2 men fighting against 1 man. Then he recognized one of the men, it was Master Roshi! His mom Bulma had told him a lot about him, apparently he was this amazing fighter that had trained lots of people. "if this Master Roshi is so strong why is he getting destroyed?" Trunks thought for a little bit then it hit him. "those are bad guys!" Trunks dove into the heart of the battle.

"wherever evil stands I'll cut it down!" Trunks yelled as he moved his arms to his side as he dove into battle and formed ki in his hands," big tree canon!"

The ki was heading for the one who looked really green and had a tail, as he looked the evilest.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Game Master 6/16/2012, 7:21 pm

Before he knew it all these weirdos started to show up.

Who the hell are these people?! One of the weirdos was Yamcha, he barely remembered training the kid when he was nothing but a pup years prior. Now, he was hot shit. Roshi could care less, none of the three interlopers had any business being there. So when the fellow that attempted to grab Roshi was in close range, he had forgotten another matter. Roshi had been isolated from humans for months, in a deep state of meditation communing with the entity known as Kami. In that time, he was as a wolf preparing to face his death. When old wolves were ready to pass, they oft traveled into the wild lands to die alone. These monkeys were all interrupting his death! The nerve of these morons to stop an old man from even having THAT!! Roshi stared at the death beam as it was coming, he knew the attack from previous training sessions. He simply moved ever so subtly behind the meat shield that had so graciously offered himself up to Roshi. Roshi did not want to die at that point, without having at least slowed the monster down. None of those kids stood even a remote chance at facing it, if he could barely throw a stick at it.

When the death beam came, he saw the assault from a safer distance, behind the fellow who had foolishly attempted to grab at the old turtle hermit.

He didn't know who the man was, he had never seen the fellow before, but he recognized Yamcha's presence using Ki Sense. People were showing up, and Roshi had guessed that the monster was simply out on a killing spree. There was murder in the monster's eyes, and Roshi had to match every bit of the creature's ferocity if he was to live. He did not want to let an idiot's mistake cost him his life prematurely. Then something happened. The turtle hermit heard the chant of his dojo's "secret technique", a move that Roshi himself had already implemented and failed. "No! You fool!" Roshi yelled at Yamcha, but it was already too late. If the monster could readily absorb Roshi's own technique, what chance did Yamcha have? Then there was yet another interloper on "his" behalf.

Men fought wars for the strangest of reasons.

Why are they attempting to prevent an old wolf's death!!?? Who sent them on this fool hardy mission!? Roshi would have cursed them all out if not for the fact that the man who attempted to grab him was a mixed blessing. Rule # 1 of Turtle Style Kung Fu. Be mindful of your surroundings. Roshi was not an idiot, though he oft played the part of one. The man who had attempted to grab him just placed himself in front of a fully charged death beam that would have ended Roshi then and there. He wasn't certain if he should laugh or cry. He did not know if the death beam would connect with the meat shield or not, but he was certainly happy for him to volunteer for such a role. In a single motion, Roshi pointed directly behind the man who attempted to grab him. "Behind you, you idiot." It would be too late for the man as there was very little maneuvering room to evade the death beam and Roshi had seen to that fact. "Thanks for the save, I will be certain to notify your family of your brave sacrifice." Roshi said.

Then, it was on to business at hand.

Roshi had hurt Cell. If only these idiots hadn't all showed up... A third interloper suddenly confounded matters further. Launching a volley of an attack right on the battlefield, Trunks in his youthful stupidity, ruined his chances at survival. A stray blast from the tree-like shot exploded upon Roshi, severely burning and injuring the already hurt old man. Roshi took several steps back and surveyed the damage of the volley coming in from Trunks. For a moment, Roshi actually pondered running away. But at the very least, he thought that he should warn them all from the perpetual quarantined zone that was about to erupt.

"Get away from here, immediately!" Roshi warned the survivors. He assumed that the man who attempted to grab him would be dead. Killed by the death-beam he so graciously jumped in front of. "None of you morons know what it's capable of!" But was already too late. Despite the rage and despair in his heart, Roshi could not help but smile. That's the mask that death will wear tonight. No tears would be shed by the old man either by him or for him. He'd lived a full life, he had the courage to die well. "I don't need any of your help!" Roshi yelled out loud as he slowly felt himself loosing his grip on what little remaining sanity he had left. He didn't even feel bad that the other man might be dead cause of the death beam he had jumped in front of. Is this was knowing you're about to die feels like? That death-beam should have been the end of me, now these kids are gonna make things worse, much worse. I don't know what it's planning, but I can't let it leave here alive. I have to fight with every ounce of my fiber...wait what's this? Suddenly, Roshi grabbed his chest. He had over done it.

It was a fitting conclusion that others would die in a war that was started in his name.

Roshi wondered how the mega-corporation Capsule would show the event to the world and he smiled as he realized what had happened.

His age detriment had finally caught up with him after all.

Roshi smiled and had time to say one last thing. "I never even learned it's name..." As his heart started to fail and collapsed from cardiac arrest, Roshi's body crumpled and he fell to the floor, dying. As he landed, he was still alive but barely hanging on to life. He was having a full on heart attack.

Note: Conclusion post. Roshi is having a heart attack and is on the verge of death. Also, Roshi stepped in front of Yamcha's NPC and Yamcha's NPC has to now deal with Cell's Death Beam. Good luck buddy.

Roshi FIN.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Cell 6/16/2012, 9:07 pm

Cell looked around him as so many unexpected things happened all at once. It was kind of stupid, but that was fate he supposed. He had expected warriors to come save the man, after all he had trained many. However, Roshi did not seem to enthusiastic about what was happening though. Cell quickly deduced that Roshi had expected to die this whole time, and was simply fighting due to his pride. To prove that even in his old age, he was not a weakling to simply be crushed, or stepped on. Cell, strangely enough, had respect for this. This was a strange sensation for him.

He pondered upon it for a moment as some fool jumped to save Roshi, a demon by the looks of him. Roshi, obviously being a very smart and cold man when it came to his pride and survival, simply moved back. His death was postponed thanks to that, though the demon might die from the power he had packed behind his attack. He wouldn't care, if the demon died now or later it would only mean one more corpse added to the long list.

However, before Cell could react to any of this, another individual came into the area. He was already irritated by the old man's skill, and the first interlopers. Now some fucking kid was getting involved, and worst yet...he had no ability to aim. He watched as the attack intended for him slammed into Roshi, burning him badly. He suddenly gripped his chest as his heart began to fail. He had overdone it in his fight, and the damage was too much now. Normally Cell would be happy about this outcome. However, he was furious. This fucking child had just taken his food from him, he had taken his kill..his prey. These three 'individuals' have just signed their own death warrants. Cell was going to kill each and every mother fucker involved.

" I never even learned it's name..." He heard Roshi say behind him. He hadn't paid attention to his warnings to the people around him. He hadn't cared, they would not escape. Somehow, this sentence caught his attention as he turned and stood above him. He glanced down, his seven foot frame not making it much easier for him to not look down on this dying man. He could feel Yamcha behind him, charging what he was sure was an absolutely massive attack. He heard the yell, felt the chill of death as the attack came in. He would not turn to face it, it was not worth his gaze.

Somewhere inside him, a fail-safe activated. He knew it was there, and he knew what it would do. A powerful aura of blue energy and electricity surrounded both him and Roshi. He would not allow him to pass from this, he was worth more than this attack, even as Earth shattering as it was. Roshi had trained his body, perfected more than even Cell had. He did not deserve to die at the hands of some impudent young fool. He deserved perfection.

The protective aura around him destroyed the ground under them, allowing them to float slightly as the dirt and sand were burned into glass. The powerful Kamehameha slammed into the shield. A massive explosion ensued as the remains of the dojo were destroyed. Everything around Cell was gone, leaving nothing more a smoldering crater. Below his feet laid the only thing survive, a single tower of rock and dirt that had been protected by his power. He and his original opponent were standing there, shrouded by the smoke left. A power wind blew, revealing them both. Cell spoke to the old man in his final moment, acknowledging his power more so than any other human or individual he had fought thus far. He fought with skill and cleverness. He did not depend on raw power like so many others. The end of needle tipped tail suddenly expanding with a strange stretching sound.

"Roshi, my name is Cell...and you deserve to be part of my perfection." He said with his strange voice. Raspy and with a his behind the deep words. His tail began to scoop him up with the end starting at his feet. He gazed into his eyes as he telepathically spoke to him. "I will do you the gracious favor of making this painless...relatively." the last word coming just as soon as his head was scooped up as well. His tail had expanded a great deal, as it consumed his opponent. His tail excreted a powerful anesthetic to keep organic food from fighting. Roshi would feel little pain as his powerful tail muscles contracted heavily. A sickening crushing sound was heard as all of Roshi's bones cracked and snapped under the force. His skull in pieces, ensuring his instantaneous death. He made a snarling sound as his body began to glow brightly.

He looked up at Yamcha, finally acknowleding his presence. The creation of Gero had never felt so much hatred and killing intent aimed at one human. "I'm going to eat you, then I'm going to eat your little fucking friend, and then i'm going to kill that boy. You are all going to die for trying to take my food." He said, his voice exuding hatred and spite in each word. He could feel Roshi's power flowing through him, he could feel all of his power increasing. More than anything he could see all of Roshi's memories as he was absorbed fully. Roshi had trained this fool, and so Cell felt confident he knew exactly how to kill him.

He took a moment to breath and regain some of his energy. He had spent quite a bit in his efforts to kill the old man. Still, he had plenty of fight left him in. More importantly he had a reserve of energy that he only accessed when he felt it was needed. He decided now was the time. The energy suddenly flooded his body from the normally vestigial organ he had kept it in. Though he had made it so that it wasn't vestigial anymore. Perhaps it never was, perhaps Gero had intended it for that use. That man was brilliant even if he was a fool.

Cell began to glow brightly as his energy was being excited. Even as he powered up he absorbed all of the energy being released, but he could not stop one thing. The souls of those he had consumed began to rage around him. Starting from the ground at his feet, what was left of it anyways. The surrounded him as high pitched wails and screams came from them. Somewhere inside, Roshi's soul was also floating around, enjoying perfection no doubt. He looked back and forth at his opponent, staring them down. He looked down towards his body, noticing the damage he had taken. In his rage, he did not notice but his barrier had not been enough to stop all of the damage.

He had burns and cuts on his torso and shoulders. They were a minor inconvenience, but it was adding up. He had part of his carapace broken on on the lower section of his tail, his right hand was burned from absorbing Roshi's kamehameha, and now this. He decided he could still fight at full potential even with these wounds, and waited for them. He was going to kill them anyways, so he might as well let them come to dig their own graves

Yamcha's minion is now removed from the battle, on account of the fact that his update has not yet been approved. Consider any actions on his part (the minion's) undone.

EDIT: Yamcha is also using his update stats, from an unapproved update.

With further ruling, Yamcha is disqualified from the battle, and this is ruled as a LOSS (without gains). His fate is up to Cell, and it shall be treated as if he had been 48 hour ruled. Trunks is not disqualified and may continue.

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Post by Kid Trunks Banned 6/17/2012, 12:34 am

The moment his blast hit, Trunks wanted to die. His blast had accidentally moved to Roshi and nailed him. Seconds later he died. Trunks watched as several more action happened upon the battle field, some rather strange events. He saw the green monster that he tried to hit earlier, and the monster had absorbed the man Trunks killed. The hero took a big gulp before heading into battle. The young boy was filled with confidence. His eyes were concentrated on the monster who was named "Cell". Trunks moved his head to the side and spit on the ground, he then returned his head to Cell. "I didn't mean for it to hit him, I tried to hit you, you creep!" Trunks shouted as he took off directly at Cell, screaming with all his might. Once he was close enough he shot his foot at Cell. "take this!" Trunks shouted as he attempted to kick Cell right where it hurts.

The young warrior clearly wasn't match for this monster, but he wanted to avenge Roshi. It's what the turtle hermit would've wanted for this creep to be killed. Trunks placed his arms so they were far apart. Then he charged up ki in his hands. "big tree canon!" the son of Vegeta pulled his hands in and fired the blast at Cell. During the attack he thought to himself, "this is one hell of a battle,"

Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly) Empty Re: Preying on the elderly(Ref: Broly)

Cell stared at Yamcha heavily. His hate was absolutely overwhelming. The area around him seemed to be warping from this searing emotion. The ground beneath his feet taking on a charred and blackened appearance. The souls around him continuing to howl and wail as they were tortured by this feeling. The air around him waving as if he was a mirage. He truly looked like Death itself at that moment, a monster standing to spite all life.

Yamcha was also reflecting this, as deep inside his brain a small blood vessel began to swell. His eyes began to roll back into his head as his brain was not functioning correctly thanks to the sudden increase in pressure. Cell simply continued to gaze at him, looking on as his body tensed for a moment and several tendons tore. There was a very silent 'pop' noise inside his head as the vessel burst. This sent blood into his brain, normally instantly lethal for a normal human. Yamcha was not normal however, as he would not die from this. Blood began to run from his noise as his brain functions began lowering significantly. He fell from the sky, slamming into the ground with a limp and pleasurable sounding thud. Cell moved his gaze away from the young man, not giving a damn what just happened.

He now looked at the young boy, the one who truly took away his dinner. He was going to murder this little asshole. Especially considering he had already done so twice. Once in his own time, and once before coming here. He knew killing the child version would not prove very difficult. He allowed the boy to come at him, a mere sprout attacking a monster. A gust against a monolith.

His leg slammed into the armored part that would normally be where a human had certain biological components. Cell did not, he did not reproduce and he did not need such things. He felt a slight bit pain, but nothing worth acknowledging. He also watched as the two orbs of energy exploded over him, his upper body gaining two areas where the carapace was heavily crushed. It was painful, but his hate was far more powerful than his pain. Even as blood oozed down his chest, beating this child to death was the only thing he could think about at the moment.

He took a deep breath, watching as time itself stopped at his will. The boy's face was still frozen in the same position it was when the attack hit. The green monster knew that he wouldn't have the time to smile after hitting the creature. He pulled his fists back and began pummeling his opponent. He found it slightly amusing that his opponent actually couldn't feel the attacks, his body not even moving in relation to the fists slamming into him. He would continue this for quite some time, until he could actually feel tiredness welling up in his arms. It was a strange feeling, normally his body dealt with fatigue-causing toxins at a fast rate, but with time frozen it seemed even that was affected.

Considering this, he drew his fist back and pulled various rocks and debris from the ground around him and his opponent. The tacked themselves around his fist tightly, compressing into a 'glove' of sorts. He would then thrust his fist forward, breaking the rock over the young child's face. No doubt when he exhaled this would cause a great deal of damage. However, he was not done just yet. He placed his hand on the purple-haired child's arm. He moved his arm quickly, as if twisting the young child's arm. Of course his arm didn't move, but the force from his vice-like grip and forceful rotation would likely send him spiraling to the side once he released his technique, along with the force from each and every punch pounding into him. He exhaled, waiting anxiously to see the force from the attacks hit him all at once.

Cell walked over to the desecrated corpse of the small child. He would grin if he could, this made the third time he had killed the son of Vegeta. Too bad he hadn't killed Vegeta yet, but he would get to that soon enough, wherever he might be. " That Dog probably didn't get a corpse pile this high. From what I can feel he's only fighting Shen still. Here I killed a small boy, defeated that fool on the ground, and absorbed Roshi. Speaking of that... He said as his needle-like tail expanded once more. He scooped the remains of Trunks into his tail. Listening to the pleasant sound of his bones being crushed under the tremendous force his tail applied from all sides as it turned him into more of a goop.

He sighed a bit as he felt his own energy replenish. The two large crushed sections of his carapace on his chest began to heal. The blood stopped flowing though the light green river continued to stain his body and burn the ground it dripped onto. With some strange cracking sounds, the carapace moved back into place on it's own. At first it looked nasty and cracked, but soon those cracked filed in and healed over. The bruise on his tail healed disappeared, The shattered carapace on top of it healing in much the same manner as his it did on his chest. He looked down at his chest, watching as the burns and cuts disappeared. He let out a small chuckle "Good as new." he said, before turning and looking at the human on the ground. He walked over to him, grabbing him by the hair and picking him up. Blood still ran from his nose.

He probed into his head using his physic abilities which had been greatly amplified by Roshi's own. He repaired the portion of his brain that had been damaged by the green monsters overwhelming hate. He did this by pushing the flesh of the aneurysm back together and then causing it to clot slightly. After all, he didn't want his next prey to die from a blood clot did he? He held him for a moment, before delivering a swift and powerful punch to the gut. He made sure to move to the side just before doing this so that he would not get the spittle that flew from Yamcha's mouth on him. If he had, he might have killed him simply because of that.

"I will kill you in a day or so boy, the only thing saving you for now...is that I am full." With this he turned suddenly and forcefully. He was using the full rotational force his body could generate. It started at his legs, turning on one foot and stepping into the maneuver. His torso turning and delivering it's own torque. His arm jerking Yamcha from behind him towards the horizon. He waited until the perfect moment, when his previous opponent's body was making a loud whistle from the speed in which he was moving, before letting go. He watched at the fool flew through the air like a missile. Cell then noticed he had actually ripped a large amount of his opponent hair from his head, he chuckled again.

He cared little for where he would land, knowing only that his body was well trained enough to survive the impact. It was one of the reasons he didn't kill the pathetic creature. While it was still such a thing, it had power. He had no respect for it, not like he had for Roshi. After all, he would think, if that impudent child hadn't got involved along with Trunks he would have been able to enjoy fighting Roshi more. He would have gotten to cut into him. He would have been able to feel his claws ripping into the old masters flesh. None the less he had completed his mission, and much faster than Broly had his. It was a fairly good night.

He turned towards the mansion, which lay many miles away. He flew home with the knowledge that he had beaten Broly in this competition. He had learned a great deal as well. He knew what had happened, why things were different. He was going to be using this information well, and a lot of people were going to die.

Cell is Victorious. Trunks, Yamcha, Roshi, and "Fox" are present for the losing side.
