Frieza's History Empty Frieza's History

Part I
"Frieza"

Frieza was born twenty-six years ago. His mother died during the childbirthing, but it did not sadden his father at all. He, King Cold of the clan after his own name, regarded the female that birth his two children as a mere concubine, a means to create for him a powerful set of offsprings, that would ensure his family legacy for generations to come. So it was nurses and private child carrying slaves that raised Frieza from the time he came into the world, until the time he could carry his own weight. Though he rarely saw his father, and his caretakers only attended to his needs, he was not alone.

For he had a brother, who grew up with him. An elder brother name Cooler, born a few years before him. Somehow their mother had survived giving birth to the strongest of the two, but not the weaker. It was something that was always held against him by his brother. Frieza would have been considered a runt in any changeling clan; however, in the great Cold clan, he was considered far more miserable than a runt. His brother regarded him as little more than a means to relieve himself of his own frustrations.

Despite being the personal punching bag to his older brother, Frieza was very well taken care of. He never wanted for anything and at the age of seven his father provided him with his own set of personal guards and counselors in order for him to get accustomed to the life of ruling. Frieza was a natural when it came to organizing and ruling over his men. He was able to grasp things quickly and come up with effective solutions. It seemed to all that his lack of martial might was compensated by his superior intelligence and leadership.

By the age of ten, his father was so impressed with him that he gave him control of his own planet. This planet he named after Frieza, a tradition from ages long past of a planet being named after the changeling that ruled it. This moved served to infuriate Cooler, as he was not given his own planet until he was twelve. So the wedge grew ever more intense between them, but the days of Cooler beating him senseless were long since passed, especially since Frieza had an army at his disposal. Cooler could easily destroy this army, but word would get back to their father, and the boys together were not powerful enough to take him on.

Frieza however, was one of the most amazing rulers the changeling race had ever witness. The planet he was dumped on was by no means a worthy planet for anyone to rule over. It was a dark icy planet that was more suitable for a military headquarters than anything else. A remote military headquarters. Frieza was able to turn it into a thriving economically sound planet. It certainly still served as a remote military base; but it had its fair share of civilian population. In fact, King Cold’s power had grown because of his runt of a son.

At the tender age of fourteen Frieza began to receive serious training from powerful military soldiers. He had never been the fighter, always the tactician. Yet he knew he belong to the most powerful race of humanoid beings in the galaxy, which is what first gave them the right to rule. They were the strongest. Furthermore Cold clan was the strongest among the changelings, giving him even more right to rule. For the next three years he left his planet to be run by his trusted advisors while he trained with everything he had.

His military commanders that oversaw his training was every bit as brutal to him as they were to their own soldiers. The difference was Frieza could reach powers beyond that of this normal aliens. After a year he was equal to the greatest of his commanders. He knew that this training would be used against someone more fearsome than anyone he had ever meet before, his brother. It was inevitable that one of them would try to rule the other. With this in mind Frieza pushed himself as hard as he could.

After two years he was far stronger than any commander that either he or any other changeling had. Still he pushed himself further for another year of intense training. It was unthinkable the power he had reached, but he was still behind his brother and he knew it. By the end of the three years, he was a fearsome power to behold. He knew he was not beyond his brother, but he was possibly a match for him. He also knew that there was so much more power he could tap into and so he knew that he would have to travel the galaxy in search of greater power.

He returned to his planet to check on its progress. His advisors and been sloppy but still his planet ran smoothly because of the previous work he had put into it. If it were up to him, he would be content with ruling this planet until he could take the reigns from his father. He knew however, that his father would be weary of him, having trained extensively for so long and still have a functioning planet with such a leave of absence.

One year latter Frieza was ordered by his father to take a planet in a nearby system. It was his father’s first test on seeing how he would do in warfare, rather than simply just sitting by and running things. Rumors went out that King Cold secretly hoped that the war would take his son’s life, but Frieza paid little attention to them. He knew in all probability that his father would wish for his death at some point, so it made no difference to him if his father wanted it now. It was a sense of pride to him, knowing that he was already formidable enough that his father wanted to get rid of him.

Frieza's History Empty Re: Frieza's History

Part II
“The Shadow of War”

Frieza assembled an army of three million men, each between the power level of eight hundred and twelve hundred. He himself was at three thousand. They left in gigantic starship, each one capable of utterly laying waste to a large megacity. They traveled to a start system twenty thousand light years away. The Gangos system had twelve planets orbiting its sun, and Frieza was heading to the fourth planet. There he would find the Gangos people, a advance technological military society that had already defended themselves from an invading force.
Frieza had no doubt that Gangos people had picked up their fifty ships the moment they entered the solar system. With the element of surprise gone, the best tactic was to rush in and overwhelm them before they had a chance to really mobilize their forces. He began to move his forces to surround the planet but they were waiting for them. Powerful energy weapons began to fire on them from the surface of the planet. In response the ships closest to the planet began to track and bombard where the planet’s attacks were coming from.

Just as it looked as if they were going to be able to take out the planetary defense systems with easy, hundreds of fighters were launched in the planet's defense. Within in minutes the space around the planet had fifty thousand fighters from the planet in orbit. Frieza had only brought a quarter of a million fighter jets, and was not happy with having to send out a fifth of that fleet within the first hour of this invasion. Doubtless the planet was going to be scrambling thousands of more fighters as the attack went under way.

Frieza ordered one hundred and twenty five thousand of his fighter jets to launched. With half his forces out, and they were out within ten minutes of the orders being given, he was sure that his forces would overrun the planetary forces they had currently and make them really consider rather they wanted to waste more of their men’s lives for nothing. Explosions filled the skies around the planet as fighter ships were constantly ripping each other apart. It took the better part of an hour for Frieza’s ships to finally cut through the plant’s defensive ships, they had stopped sending fighters once they realized that Frieza just had so many in the air.

With most of the fighters guarding the planet out of the way, Frieza had bombers lunch and began to bomb military bases around the planet. The first two dozen waves were all shot down and only four bombs had managed to hit their mark. Planetary scans showed that their largest military base was in the north-eastern hemisphere. Frieza had three tactical nuclear weapons deployed and he turned the base and everything around it for miles into rubble. After that, bombs began to have more successful runs.

The key to making a planet livable after an invasion was to not nuke the planet into submission. With this in mind Frieza began landing his troops. Two million troops had landed across the planet in the span of a day and a half. Frieza himself came down sixteen hours later and began to lead an attack on the largest city. The resistance was far more than he had count on, and his men were momentarily stalled and it seemed they would be pushed back out of the city. However, Frieza did not plan for him to take a major role in the battle, so he had that as a secret weapon to work with.

He rushed into the front lines and began to savagely tear his enemies apart. He began to target the places and men that were holding up his troops the most. None of his enemies could hold a candle to him and he utterly destroyed all that came against him. Within a few moments his troops were able to once again advance on the city. There was less and less resistance as they moved forward, thanks to Frieza’s savagery when it came to war.

After four days of warfare, the planet had mostly fallen to Frieza’s forces. It was an amazing victory, especially since it was his first. It was expected of him to win, he had them far out numbered. It was not, however, expected that he personally would be leading the armies and that would change the outcome of the battle. It was always not expected that he would win with such few losses on his side. On the fifth day when the war was all but over except for very small pockets of resistance that was being systematically crushed, Frieza returned to capitol city, or rather the new capital since he had nuked the first one.

He set up his own government right there in the middle of the city and declared himself emperor of the planet. The Gangos people had been beaten into submission and against their will, obeyed every command that came from the new regime. As he set up his system of government throughout the planted that originated from this new capital, he would often walk through the city in the cool of the evening. He was fascinated by culture and art and he long to get a look at the layout of this cultures architect.

It was during this week long period of governance that he found her. He noticed on his second day after the fighting had stopped that a building was burning to the ground. He stopped and watched it and before long he say a small girl just inside the house. She was trapped inside struggling to put out the fire. There was such determination in her movement that Frieza saw in her a true fighter. An apprentice. So young yet so determine to survive. He went in and rescued the girl, who could not remember her name, such was the tragedy of war. So he named her Shadow, and took her to him as his apprentice. Five days later she would leave the planet dressed in fine clothes in service to her new master; and she would never see her planet again.

Frieza's History Empty Re: Frieza's History

Part III
“Planet Trade Organization.”

Three years later Frieza, by now twenty one years old, had four planets under his direct control. Of course these planets were under his control in name and governance only, but the real master behind his throne was his father. Frieza knew that he was still a long ways off from overthrowing the reigns of his father, if it was at all possible.

He also had another thorn in his side. His brother Cooler. He took a less ruling role in his part of the galaxy and focused on enjoying the luxurious of life. Still it was said that he was more fearsome than even his father in some regards. Everyone knew he could not be a match for King Cold, but still to keep up his rigorous training while living a life of pleasure was beyond Frieza.

These three members of the Cold clan now formed the foundation for a new Galactic organization to arise. The Planet Trade Organization was formed in the east center of the galaxy. This organization would be run by the various changeling clans, with clan Cold being the strongest and most powerful. To the north of their section of the galaxy was the Kelioux Empire. They were a strong imperial race full of powerful fighters. Small intergalactic system warfare broke out among the newly form PTO and the Kelioux Empire, in a bid for dominance over neutral ground. Though Frieza knew it was really over making other groups in the galaxy away of the PTO.

To the south west of the PTO section of space, lies the Avalon Protectorate systems. Frieza regarded their self-righteous attempt of discipline and protectors through the galaxy as madness. They were an extremely powerful military and technological advance race. The PTO would not be able to hold out against them in an all out warfare, but fortunately they usually left others outside their system alone.

Right in the middle of the PTO was the saiyan empire. It didn’t take long for the changelings to unite and drive the saiyans back to essentially their home world. A decision was made to not completely wipe them out, one that Frieza hated. It made no sense if they could secure two planets and eliminate a threat at the same time to not do it. These were the kind of backwards decisions that prohibited the PTO from becoming the reigning power in the galaxy. It was for these reasons that Frieza began to train vigorously and start to secretly plan his ascension to his father’s throne.

Frieza rule was systematic. He was not a harsh ruler, as long as you obeyed him. Anyone who stepped out of line was crushed and made an example of. He tolerated mistakes, as long as you fessed up to them, with an arrogance of being able to handle any blunder that his subordinate made. He surrounded himself with powerful, intelligent advisors. His favorite advisor, although she didn't really advice, was Shadow, now eleven years old. He kept her in his inner circle and exalted her to high statues, as if she were his own daughter.

For the first six months, she had hated leaving her planet and everything to do with military. She blamed them for the destruction of her planet and somehow came to see Frieza as the savior of her and her planet. In her mind, Frieza became the only one she cared about and as far as anyone could tell Frieza treated her like a daughter. He didn't quite treat her as a daughter, but more of a loyal servant. He thought of her as his apprentice. When she was nine he had her trained not only in hand to hand combat, but also espionage tactics. She would live up to her name and be his shadow. By the time she was eleven, she was quite good at martial arts.

Frieza had increased his power, both politically and martially. He had a loyal servant that would do anything for him. However, he was still seen as second best next to his father and brother. He needed to find a way to increase his power and take it to the next level. By chance when Frieza was twenty-two years old, lord Frost, the most powerful changeling alive, came to dwell on his planet. In one way it was a scorn against him, see it now meant they Frieza was ruler in name only, though Frost never sought to take power away from him. On the other hand, it was a blessing, as it now gave Frieza a master that he could learn under.

Frieza sought out lord Frost for training and the old changeling accepted him as his own student. He refused to teach the slave girl shadow (for in his mind that was all she could be to Frieza). Never the less from time to time Frieza would personally teach her what he had learned from his master. So the for the next few years this training continued, and Frieza grew to become a fierce warrior.

For three years Frieza learned from his master and then turned around and trained his apprentice. He was twenty-five now and Shadow was just turning fifteen. She was a deadly assassin by this point, and Frieza promoted her to be head of his personally security forces. She was also second in command to the planet’s security forces. From time to time she would take a leave of absence, and a few days later one of Frieza’s political rivals would turn up dead somewhere. So the two of them began to seize more and more power from the Planet Trade Organization

Frieza's History Empty Re: Frieza's History

Part IV
“New Heights of Power”

Frieza’s power continue to grow, as did his apprentice Shadow. Shadow came to adore Frieza as her beloved master, despite the fact that he was brutal to anyone who got in his way. She admired that feature in him, how he was able to take anything he wanted because of his power. She in turn, became just like him, killing anyone brutally if they got in either of their way. In doing this, Frieza began to place more and more trust in her.

The two of them however, were not cold blooded monsters. They never killed for pleasure. Though that is not to say they did not gleam pleasure from killing others, when the need arises. They would only kill when there was something to be clearly gained from someone’s death, or in revenged, which is when they were the most brutal. They had no shortage of enemies, from those outside the PTO and from within. Frieza was becoming stronger than some of the other higher members in the organization, and he was beginning to attract the attention of competitors.

Lord Frost continued to train Frieza. There was an incident a few months after the start of his training. A group of assassins had tried to kill Frieza out in full view of the public, right here on his own planet. The incident was the first time when Shadow ever felt truly threaten, for the assassins went so far as to destroy their security center in an attempt to kill Frieza. Shadow hated that Frieza had sent her away to investigate rather than allow her to stay at his side and protect him. She knew that he didn’t need her to protect him and that obeying him was more important than anything else.

Word came had reached Frieza that lord Frost himself was behind the assassins. He refused to believe it but he had to speak to him about it. So he went in search of his master. One last assassin tried to destroy him, but he feel all too easy against Frieza. When Frieza found his master, Frost told him he was indeed behind the assassins and that it was a test he gave to his students once they reached a certain level in their training. Despite the dozen of potential students that had trained under him, Frieza was the first and only one to pass this test.

With Frieza’s life no longer in danger, Frost sent him to a remote mountainous region on the planet in order for him to dive deeper into his own power. Frieza did not understand what he meant, but he obeyed his master. He spent a few days in isolation when he noticed a camp of humans living out here on their own. They were rebels against his rule. He had no idea how they even got to his planet, but they seemed afraid of him, all but one. A fight soon broke out, and Frieza took the beating of his life.

He was flung off the mountain and feel a good four hundred feet. Everyone, especially him, thought he would die. To his surprise he lived, though his body was broken. His rage and shamed began to swell inside of him, the thought of a low life beating him life this. A surge of power flowed through him and he transformed into a larger version of himself. It was the form his father took and it healed his broken body. It also increased his power level to an unprecedented amount.

He soon made his way back to his enemies and utterly crushed them. There was a woman and a young girl that were brutally killed by his hands. The power that flowed through him was unlike anything he had ever felt before. Having found what he wanted, he returned to Frost and showed him what he had learned to do. Frost, who was pleased that his apprentice had achieved his first transformation, was ready for some information with him. Apparently on one of the moons in this system was a rebel group that had recently been sent reports from a spy right here on the planet.

It seemed likely to them that the spy was the one Frieza had killed. This rebel group might have been a match for Frieza had he not just had an explosion of power. Frieza, in order to prove a point, went alone to this rebel’s base on a nearby moon. He had a hard fought battle, one that almost cost him his life, but in the end he was completely the victor. He destroyed every rebel building and laid waste to every person on that moon. He returned to the gratefulness of his subjects.

A few months later savage wolves attack the northern front to Frieza’s capital city. He and shadow lead a small task forced out to destroy the wolves, only to find that these were giant sized wolves. The battle was long and rough and Frieza ended up blowing a sizable chunk out of the planet in order to eliminate all of his foes. While it was an amazing display of raw power, Frieza realized that if he could only learn even more about ki, he could learn to focus that power into even greater destructive force. So he went before his master to inquire after a more focus power than what he had.

Shadow on the other hand struggled to even comprehend her master’s power. She was strong, far stronger than most people would ever become, but she was nothing but a shadow to her master. She knew that within the next year or two that she would not even be able to hold a candle to him in terms of power. However, she was determined to at least serve her master, as long as he was more powerful than her, it was his right to rule. That was how she saw it, the strong had the right to rule and those who couldn't measure up should serve those in power. Anyone who tried to get in the way of this should be destroyed.

Frieza's History Empty Re: Frieza's History

Post by OldFrieza2 7/3/2012, 6:09 pm

Part V
“The Grand Plan”

Frieza found himself kneeling before lord Frost. He reported everything he had done involving the wolves and his desire of greater power. Frost studied him for a long moment and final had him rise to follow him into a secret room within his chambers. Frieza walked into a room full of relics, some from the distant past, and some far more recent.

He walked over to an armor covered in black, below it a name was carved into a gold plate, it read Jalen, dark lord of Salei. He had heard some rumor of some cult that called themselves Salei but he knew they went extinct a thousand years ago. on the opposite wall was a sword, its nameplate said “Abaddon, the Pearlslayer.” Lord Frost began to explain the story behind the Salei. Three thousand years ago there was a great battle between followers of the ancient Salei and the Deilo, rivals since eons past.

The followers of Deilo used their ki for healing and protecting others from harm, where the followers of Salei used their ki to manipulate the world around them for their own purpose. Where Deilo saw life and servitude, Salei saw death and kingship. They were natural rivals. Two thousand years ago, the servants of Deilo waged a costly war against the servants of Salei and in the end it appeared that Salei was wiped from the galaxy for all time. The remnants of Deilo retreated to the south-west of the galaxy and formed the Avalon Protectorate and still carried their ancient dogma and foolish ideas.

What was not know is that there was one lone survivor, Jalen. He realized that if he were to create another army, that he would be hopelessly outnumbered against Deilo forces, having a multitude of thousands left after the last war. So he planned in secret of train one person, and to allow the practice of Salei to continue far into the future. His apprentice, a man named Asher, continued the line but decided that it was safer in the long run to not create a large gathering of forces until there was a way to destroy the followers of Deilo once and for all.

He past down into Salei practice that there should ever only be two practitioners, one to embody the power and the other to crave it. He spent the remainder of his life training his apprentice and gathering resources in shadow to wage a secret war against the Avalon Protectorate when the time was right. This practice had continued for the last one thousand years, with only ever there being two or three (for some had not followed the rule quite so closely) members of their cult. The followers ended right here in this very room, with lord Frost.

He was the last of the ancient Salei, for he had chosen no apprentice to carry on their legacy. No one he found worthy enough to really train and to plan their sweet revenge. Until now. Frieza had proven himself worthy to become his apprentice. It was what Frost was offering him now, to learn the ways of complete and utter death, in order to rise and take the reigns of galactic emperor. He explained to him that he was secretly behind the newly formed Planet trade Organization. It was part of a larger plan to extract his revenge on the Avalon Protectorate.

Lord Frost explained to Frieza that he did not have much time left. While learning to manipulate your ki can had decades to your life, it did not make you immortal. So it was possible that he would not be around to see the fall of Deilo like he had planned. However, with Frieza’s help he could bring about the downfall of Avalon and begin to teach masses of the great power of Salei. With the fall of Avalon, Frieza could extend his rule and conquer the rest of the galaxy.

It would require vast more training than Frieza currently had. He would also need to infiltrate Avalon and learn their way of life in order to bring it crashing down. This was the grand plan that had been in the making for the last thousand years. Frieza knelt and swore loyalty to his new master, seeing in his future the power to hold the galaxy in his hands. He also had his own apprentice, but Frost made him swear to not bring her into the fold until she was vastly more powerful and ready to accept this destiny that had been placed on them.

The first order of business was to have Frieza travel the galaxy and learn from various masters from all walks of life. This would expand his knowledge of their way of life and give him more options when it came time to fight the galaxy changing battles. While he was on this multitude of worlds he could either create his own network of spies or use ones already there in order to infiltrate and give the PTO a foothold in order to conquer in the near future. Shadow would accompany him, but she would never be told the real motives behind their mission for years to come. Not until it the plan was so firm in motion that nothing could be done to stop it.

Frieza had received a few months of training in Salei before lord Frost gave him permission to leave the planet in search of even greater power. He would not travel by his own ship, but by public transport, for he was not well known beyond the realms of the PTO’s boundary. Shadow accompany him and she was told he was going to seek new master to train under in order to become more powerful. It was mostly the truth, and in time he knew he would bring her into the fold, should she survive long enough.

Epilogue

Frieza sat with Shadow on board a galactic transit spacecraft. She was told of her master’s travel plans only eight hours ago, though she was sure he had been planning this trip for months. She wished he would fill her in on more of his plans. She was afterall the head of his personal security guards. She wasn’t angry at him, he had shown her time and time again that he knew what he was doing, but she would have still liked to have been kept more up to date on his plans.
