Roleplay Sample (250 words):

David was in a dazed state of consciousness. The world around him seemed dark. Flashes of what was in the past took form in his head like vines suddenly sprouting from the ground. Faded images of events, they were familiar to him from countless dreams in his past but it never made sense to him. Ball Room music and a crystal room filled with masked dancers. A garden only illuminated by a faint moon light. A fallen white mask. Screams and a sullen and malicious laugh soon echo into the void of space.

David awakens from his slumber. His hands pressed against clear crystal that incased him he could only hear muffled sounds from his chamber. He tried screaming “Let me out!” but sure enough the sound was encased in the tomb along with him. David felt a surge of power run through him as a faint spark of yellow static engulfed him and as if obeying his mental thoughts the crystal shattered and from a distance safe enough to land he fell to his knees and hands. The fall bruised his knees a bit but he pushed through the pain for now.

More images flashed before him. A red rose, a white rose, a black rose, the trinity of rose circled his thoughts as he had more flashes of the past. Suddenly, he realized that the images were shifting. A moonlit city skyline, then a chase through snow, shattered glass, red roses and the flapping of a cape behind him as the sound of feet tapping in the wet concrete ground. Just who was he? David fell to the ground now on all fours and buried his head under his arms as if he were to shield his mind by an unseen force. “Agh…. My… head….” He groaned.
