Guardian of Earth [Easy Quest] Empty Guardian of Earth [Easy Quest]

Mission Description:

You'd think a huge tower like the one these guys spoke of would be easy to spot. Bardock was walking in the middle of the forest, looking around for a special structure he heard from a group of Indians nearby. It was particularly dark on this day, the only illumination within this thick wall of greenery being the sun that poked its way through the many leaves that covered the ceiling of this place. Those Indians warned Bardock that another tribe surrounded the base of the tower, one that tried to attack any trespassers that weren't pure of heart. Bardock wasn't exactly a saint, either.

A glowing light began to burst through the path he was on. God damn darkness was really starting to get to him after a while, so maybe this one would bring about some luck. He stuck his hands through the hole and pushed the green plants aside to get a good look at the sight in front of him. A multitude of things were taken in by the battle-hardened Saiyan at once. First thing he could see was a great amount of tents that surrounded the base of a large tower, one that extended up to unimaginable heights. The next thing to enter his mind was the fact that many people were staring at him. They all seemed to share cloth and appearance traits alike, each with tanned skin and headbands of a tealish color.

One of these men slowly approached the Saiyan cautiously, unsure if he was a friend or a foe. All Bardock could do was smile at the tribe, now knowing what their intentions were. Looks like it was time to get his hands dirty a bit. The Indian sniffed the warrior's body, leaving Bardock to be as still as a stone statue. He never felt uncomfortable in this kind of situation. Dealing with races from all ends of the universe came with its perks, allowing him to overcome many fears and awkward situations. He might not have been a Saiyan Elite, but that was due to his horrible past. He had the strength and overcame hardships no Elite could even begin to imagine.

”Are you friend, or foe?” He spoke with an accent that was definitely a foreign one, sounding like a primitive human.

Of course these men were not very educated in the ideals of a sophisticated society, the same was with Bardock's race. They were never one for the fancy things in life, letting their brutal, core senses come out on the field of battle. Bardock looked down at the small human, quickly lashing out an uppercut that ravaged the man's chin. He flew into the air, Bardock speeding under his body and bringing his hand up with great speed. As his fist went right through the Indian’s chest, he smiled over to the rest of the tribe.

”Foe,” he said, a sadistic sprinkle within his tone of voice.

He crushed the man's heart, the blood trickling down his arm as a single child let out a shriek of terror. Ah, how did Bardock enjoy that sound. He threw the man's lifeless corpse over to the side as the men readied themselves for battle. The women were hurrying their children into the tents as the first man rushed out at Bardock. Such a weakling wasn't even worth his time, his scouter giving off a combo of whirring and clicking to let him know this human had a power level of ten. He quickly swayed around the flurry of punches that came his way, his legs barely moving as he made his way around every fist. The man ceased his onslaught with a shocked expression on his face. He must have known his life was now over. The bloodied Saiyan quickly sprang forward with a jump, slamming his knee right into the man's nose. He fell to the ground, pain-filled cries leaving his mouth. Just as quickly, it was replaced with the cracking of ribs. The man's life was over, a boot mark engraved into his side that pierced his heart.

He could have been someone's father, or husband. That never mattered to Bardock though, he had to find out all the different ways to become stronger, and this 'Earth' offered many strong warriors to train and kill. The second of the three strongest men rushed forward, trying to send a kick into Bardock's forehead. He quickly ducked under the kick, a grin coming to his face as his hair swayed in the wind of the man's attack. Yet the human was not shocked, but merely angered. Guess this bastard was a friend to the corpse on the ground. Bardock backed up a punch came after him, almost making contact with him. He quickly tried to spring forward, but another punch was already pursuing him. Ready to take it on, he pumped his chest out and let the human punch him.

The man smiled that he managed to land a solid hit... But why didn't Bardock get blown back? The Saiyan slowly grabbed the man's hand and applied pressure to his grip. This piece of scum never even had a chance. The cracking of bones filled the air, the children crying in their tents as the man yelled. How horrible for him to prolong their suffering of hearing this. As if it was his own act of mercy, he sent a fist into the man's throat, ending his life with a fountain of blood leaving his mouth. Another corpse was added to the list, and the last man held a battle stance. He was shivering, but the merciless Saiyan had to give him credit for standing up for his tribe, even against an opponent like him.

He approached the man, grabbing the collar of whatever kind of unknown cloth he was wearing on his top, and lifted him off the ground.

”I'll make you a deal. You tell me what I want, and your village lives,” he said, no emotion within his voice. It was obvious that he knew he was wasting time here, and more bodies were just going to take him away from his goal.

Guardian of Earth [Easy Quest] Empty Re: Guardian of Earth [Easy Quest]

The man quickly nodded, a few whimpers escaping his lips out of the intense fear he felt.

”Good. This is the tower where Kami lives, yes?” A simple question, if he said so himself. Quick and to the point was always Bardock's style, as he was a man who didn't like to waste time on formalities. The man gave a nod that signaled this was, in fact, that place where the God of Earth resided. Bardock threw the man down to the ground, and he crawled over to a tent with great agility.

Bardock let his aura surge, a veil of pure white energy surrounding his body as his energy spiked. He let the energy escape from the bottom of his feet, letting his fly into the air and follow the trail that this tower made for him. Like a comet, with a tail of white energy following him, he made his way up the tower, possibly faster than others before him. Like that tribe could pull the wool over his eyes, their warriors might have been impressive. Maybe for humans. The top of the tower came faster than he thought, a large structure floating in the air coming into view. He flew to the side of this structure and let his aura disappear in a small shockwave of energy.

He slowly descended on the white, tile filled ground of the Lookout, his feet making a soft tapping noise on the ground. Bardock took a look around the area to keep a sharp eye out for any enemies. It was a line of trees on each side of the path, a large building with pillars seemingly keeping it together, and a single man watering some plants on the side. If you could even call this obese fuck a man. He was large, with some sort of cloth on his top that was similar to what the Indians donned, and baggy white pants on.

”Hey, you. Is this where I can find Kami, or what?” He wasn't about to be mislead now, not when he was so close.

The large man looked over to the Saiyan, with a face that only a mother could love. Small round eyes stared into his, large red lips speaking to him.

”Ah, Master Kami hasn't taken on a student in some time. Yes, this is where he is,” he said plainly. Bardock gave off a smile, glad that he finally found this old man.

”Well, where the hell is he? I'm not a patient man,” impatience finding its way into his voice as he spoke.

”You may only see him after completing your first task. You have to land a single punch on my face.”

Bardock's left eyebrow arched a little in confusion, wondering about the nature of this task. It seemed easy enough though, considering that all the other Earthlings were so weak. Without warning, Bardock cracked his knuckles and took a fighting pose.

”Okay then. Prepare yourself!” He sped forward, quickly sending a punch toward the black genie's face. Why didn't he hear any bones crack though? Looking to his fist, he saw that this man caught it. How was that even possible, when the humans set the bar so low?! Out of anger, he used his other fist to send another punch at the man, only to be caught again. Bardock growled as he backstepped to get his bearings back, a little ticked that this man seemed to be on par with his speed, if not faster.

Thinking it might have been just a fluke, he dug the tip of his boot into the ground and sped after the man, sending a flurry of punches at anywhere on his face. Whether it was his cheek, his chin, his eye, anything needed to be hit. Yet all of his punches were not countered, but completely caught. He wasn't even using any kind of blocking, every punch was met with a palm. How did this man manage to keep up with a Saiyan's speed? Now Bardock was pissed!

He went back and sent a fist forward, letting a packet of energy release from his knuckles. The ki came at the large man without warning, blowing his body back out of sheer force. This was his chance! His energy formed itself into his white aura and his body sped forward, bringing his fist down in an arch like motion.

”Now, finish it!”

He sent his fist up, connecting with the man's chin with a great impact. The black genie was sent backward, holding his chin in pain. But was he mad? The exact opposite, he was happy for some reason. Bardock had a questionable look on his face.

”It's been a while since someone could do that. You pass.”

”Well, it's about damn time.” He smiled at the man, already feeling the effects of this training.
