Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio) Empty Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio)

Khaos stops for a rest after his encounter with Sairai. His wound is healed, the bruises, and everything gone, even his pride isn't wounded. He replaces the sword in its sheath, while resting. His trusty sword, never had it failed him until his last spar, his opponent was able to dodge every blow he made with it, the thought makes him angry, then he remembers how his opponent dodged them all.

"I fought an opponent alot tougher than me, and got proven he was the better man, no surprise. I will get better, I will get stronger, and no one will dodge my attacks" the demon growls to himself angrily.

Jeraph responds "we fought well, we did everything we could to take him by surprise, the only things that seemed to were our ki attacks. Maybe we should try to use Ki Blade more during our battles."

A small pond is directly in front of Khaos, fish are jumping causing small ripples in the water, trees surround the pond. The wind is blowing just enough to cause the leaves in the trees, and the taller grass to move with it. It's also enough to breathe life into Khaos. The air smells sweet like flowers in the distance, there are birds in the trees chirping a song, trying to impress a mate.

There is no animal life to be seen except for the fish and the birds. He sits there enjoying it barely noticing the being on the edge of the pond watching him, unlike the last one this one is completely unknown to him, he is green, and seems to be pretty muscular just like every one else he's come across, this one has power that his Ki sense is telling him is high enough to make a worthy opponent. Khaos watches the being for a while, noting his movements, how he carries himself and any ki he can sense.

Jeraph is watching as well. Knowing what is about to transpire he decides not to try to take control and to just let the demon have his fun before they reach the city. Rising to his feet, Khaos walks over to the creature, acting very untrained and shambling hoping to hide his combat prowess. He may actually look drunk, or stupid, but he hopes this approach will make his potential opponent lower his guard for the battle.

He is a little weary of this opponent after his last challenge, almost took his leg off and tried to blow a hole in his chest the size of a honeydew melon, but none the less his thirst for power wins out. He allows his hand to move to the blade slung across his back, just making sure it is still there and didn't disappear. The birds have stopped chirping suddenly as if they know what is going to happen, even the fish seem to have vanished from the pound.

"You there, I am Khaos. Care to do a little one on one training?" Khaos asks as he bows, never taking his eyes off of his possible opponent.

Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio) Empty Re: Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio)

A cheerful songbird's cry rang clear through the forest. To most, it was a pleasant sound, a sing of the joys and beauty of nature. But to Piccolo Daimao, it was a banshee. Every time it hit a high note, the creature's melody was akin to nails on a chalkboard. It was a curse to one with such sensitive ears.

So he silenced it. He didn't bother allowing it to suffer -- if it did, it was likely he would in turn as it let out its screeching swansong. A quick bolt of ki was more than enough to dispatch it, as well as the tree it perched upon.

Satisfied with his deed, the Demon King rested against a nearby trunk, happy that the woods were again still. But suddenly, the silence was broken by the sound of a snapping twig. His eyes shot in that direction as he tried to home in on the ki signature of the perpetrator. Perhaps little more than an hour ago, he had been assaulted by a passerby who thought to challenge him for little more than sport. For all he knew, this was something that had become customary in his absence. It wasn't a ritual he was fond of.

Piccolo could sense the being clearly as he stepped through the trees, revealing himself to the Demon King. He was an odd looking individual with eyes like smoldering coals and hair that looked as if it had gel in it at one point, then was blow dried straight up and out to the sides. The other man from before had that trait as well...

Slung across his back was a broadsword, clearly indicating that he was a fighter, perhaps a mercenary of vigilante. Judging by his attire, though, it seemed likely he was no martyr.

"You there, I am Khaos," the being said, introducing himself. "Care to do a little one on one training?"

Wonderful. Another. "No, I would not. Begone," the Demon King spat. "Otherwise, this will be more than a mere training exercise for you."

Sensing the ki blast as the bird and it's tree was destroyed was almost to much for the shin Jeraph to handle, his normal calm demeanor was now changing inside the body that his demon half was in control of, the demon senses this change. He doesn't immediately respond to the strange beast in front of him instead he waits for the shin to come to terms with his anger then he allows them both control of the body.

"So how does it feel to know hatred?" the demon thinks to the shin side.

"It feels different, but this creature just extinguished another beings life with out a second thought" Jeraph responds his mental thoughts full of anger.

"I told you than not all the inhabitants of this planet or any planet would be like Alberdyne or Sairai. Some would try to destroy what you found beautiful" the demon thinks again almost gleeful at being correct.

"Well this "thing" must be punished" Jeraph demands mentally, his voice on the word thing full of hatred.

After the conversation goes on for a few more seconds, Khaos stops and eyes the Namekian standing before them. One of his eyes is now the demonic red of normal in a battle, the other the cold calculating ice blue of the shin. The shin has done something that the demon feared would never occur, he has finally stepped up and readied himself for battle. The demon knows that the shin would punish this creature until the end of days if allowed. It is now that they are at their best no longer one or the other in control but controlling the situation as one being.

"More than training for me, you say" Jeraph's voice is no longer just a demon growl, it has the hint of the demon in it still but it's cold, and high pitched as well.

"You have no idea who or what I am, I am honorable though either prepare yourself or perish, the choice is yours to make, but know this, you will be punished for destroying that creatures life" the new voice of Jeraph says with fury and hatred.

In an instant the sword is no longer in its hilt but in Jeraph's hand. Jeraph is at battle ready, his fingers tight on the sword hilt, he is standing close enough to where he could slice the opponent. His muscles in his body tense and ready for the upcoming assault.

"More than training for me, you say," the being replied. Apparently, he seemed to be interpreting the Demon King's threat in another manner. Piccolo sensed a change in his voice. It was lighter now, almost... angelic. Sickeningly so. But with a ferocity as well. A dark angel.

"You have no idea who or what I am," he continued. "I am honorable though. Either prepare yourself or perish -- the choice is yours to make. But know this, you will be punished for destroying that creature's life." The creature drew its sword from its hilt and approached. His muscles were tense, presumably because of fear.

"You choose to brandish the sword of justice... literally. How fitting," the Demon King mused. "Tell me, though, do you not swat the fly buzzes around your head? How is my action different from that?

"You shall pay dearly for your so-called 'nobility'."

Piccolo stood up straight and took a bound backward, his cape twirling itself around his legs. He splayed a hand straight out and focused his might upon his foe's sword. Its double bladed design would make it a potent weapon. He tried forcing the blade to move up and back so that it would be able to slice at his opponent's chest.

The instant afterward, he decided to make his actual assault. He curled his other hand into a fist, leaving only his index finger extended. A thin beam of ki shot out of the tip, aimed dead for the warrior's solar plexus. As the beam was precise and concussive, it would hopefully knock the wind out of his opponent, provided it hit.

Sensing the blade trying to fight his grasp and twist to slice his own chest, Jeraph know's this trick well, having faced another foe who attempted the same sort of trick no to long ago, releasing the sword completely he rolls to the left to avoid the blade, also unknowingly avoiding the ki beam with the same move. He rises to his feet undaunted but angry at the trick the being tried to use against him, and charges directly at his opponent, who was now roughly 6 to 8 feet away. As he charges he uses speed burst flickering briefly almost like he vanishes into thin air. As the burst fades he is now standing directly in front of his foe, his normal off hand still formed into the two fingers out that he normally takes. He then concentrates his Ki into this hand letting it charge and finally form the Ki Blade attack as he swipes at the stomach area of his foe the Ki extending out in a hue of purple and red. The blade can and will cut deep into any opponent if it actually manages to strike true.

"He will pay for his insolence and for trying to use my own weapon against me. This attack should be hard for him to dodge, or counter from this distance." Jeraph thinks full of the rage caused by the unneeded death of the bird.

The young man was quick to maneuver, dropping to the ground and rolling out of harms way from both strikes. It seemed that the action was almost instinctive as opposed to a conscious decision, judging by the rigidity of his movements. The sword, meanwhile, fell to the ground and bolt of energy collided with a nearby tree, setting it aflame. The light afternoon breeze was beginning to whip it up and spread it to the surrounding forest.

Immediately, the warrior rose to his feet and disappeared from sight. Though he was now moving so quickly the naked eye could scarcely track him, his ki signature was a different matter. That was still a beacon in the night, signaling his exact location.

The moment Khaos reappeared, Piccolo Daimao vanished in turn. A blade of ki extended from the warrior's arm... and struck air. The Demon King, meanwhile, was busy circling around his foe for his next strike. He popped up behind the young fighter, silent as a mouse, and and attempted to forcefully punch his foe's spine. However, that alone wasn't enough, and his opponent was going to be in for a nasty shock. The moment after the attack should impact, his hand glowed with ki. A brilliant wave of energy shot forth at pointblank range.

Following his opponents Ki was a little more difficult for him to do than he expected, considering the technique was still quite new to him. He manages to follow it though. He lunges forward away from his opponent who's punch misses his spine, what Jeraph was not prepared for was the energy wave striking him directly in the back.

"That hurt slightly" Jeraph says as he turns to face his opponent.

Jeraph's back is smoldering from the ki wave, his clothes are once again singed, other than this no real damage was done that he can feel, some superficial bruising is the only thing his body tells him happened. He then notices that he is further from his opponent than he had meant to be, partially because of the force from the Ki Wave added momentum to his lunge to dodge the blow.

"You are a strong fighter, but this is far from over" Jeraph says his voice no longer just one of rage, but now sounds more calm.

As he speaks Jeraph is calculating his next move, not wanting to waste any time. He begins to charge up Ki into his two fingers of his left hand, and also in his right hand. As the ki in his hand and fingers reaches it's full charge he unleashes the hand in a brilliant wave of red and purple Ki aiming above his opponents head by about 4 feet, as he does this he uses the fingers to fire a beam directly at where his opponent is standing. He hopes one will make contact, but he already has his next move planned in case of a fail.

Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio) Empty Re: Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio)

The Demon King's foe was pushed back by the force from his attack. His rear was burned slightly. Disappointing results at best.

"That hurt slightly," the human said. It seemed a snarky comment. Or maybe he was trying to boast that Piccolo could do nothing to hurt him. Then again, perhaps he was merely stating the obvious, as most humans do.
"You are a strong fighter, but this is far from over."

Piccolo Daimao's face was glowing, not from his ki or the sunlight, streaming in through breaks in the trees, but the blazing fire that was now beginning to surround them on all sides. Branches were smoldering, cracking as they were transformed to ash. It gave him a devilish idea.

"On the contrary, I'd say it's very close to its finale," Piccolo commented.

He turned his palm upward and swung it to the left. He made the fire dance, moving it so as to feed it more of the forest. Just as he did so, his opponent fired two quick beams of energy, one slightly above him, the other aimed dead center. But a wall of flame separated them now, and as the bolts of ki struck them, they were absorbed by its strength.

He continued manipulating the flame, forming a ring around his opponent and coaxed its walls to grow higher. Now he just needed to wait for his foe to escape from his burning prison to make the next move. Then again, it was possible he would be consumed by it. He liked to think optimistically, though. It would be more fun that way.

Feeling the heat from the walls of flame gathering on his skin, he thinks of his odds at escaping. They aren't good at best, the thought of flying up and his opponent waiting for that crosses his mind. The thing that his opponent wasn't prepared for though was already his next calculated move. Jeraph sits patiently, recalling to mind the area around his opponent outside the walls of flames. The trees ablaze, the grass being heated by the flames, the wind blowing still feeding the fire, the placement of his sword, now sitting on the ground behind his opponent within striking range, all of this crosses his mind, developing the mental picture he has of the battle area, then his opponent is placed on his mental map standing there watching the flames and feeding them with his psychic ability.

"I can't believe the flames from this fire just devoured my two ki attacks, no matter he won't be ready for this" Jeraph thinks."I'll show him what swatting a fly means to a SHIN"

Jeraph decides on the spot he wants to be, and within a blink he is there, the Shin Teleportation taking mere moments to activate, especially when the spot he wants to move to is so clear in his minds eye. Charging his ki into both of his hands he strikes with a palm strike from both aimed at both shoulder blades, at the moment his hands would impact the shoulder blades, he allows the ki to escape in a wave of energy from both hands. In the instant that the ki is unleashed he hopes that the attack doesn't miss.

Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio) Empty Re: Training the warrior ( Khaos vs Piccolo Damaio)

Piccolo Daimao was almost distracted now, watching the flames dance like elegant swimmers. It reminded him of days long past, days of glory and carnage, days he would give anything to relive. But the shouts of his foe brought him back down to Earth.

Half of his opponent's sentence slipped by him and he only caught the last part of it. The young man's voice roared high above the crackle of flames as he shouted. "I'll show him what swatting a fly means to a Shin!"

His opponent vanished into thin air, but something seemed... different. He couldn't sense Khaos moving from point A to point B as he should have been able to, and there was no downtime in between when he seemed to phase in and out of reality. Was he truly that fast? Or perhaps... was he teleporting?

It didn't matter. Suddenly, a pair of flat palms were thrust into his shoulder blades, a move that seemed oddly... familiar. He decided it would be best to take the attack and roll with it -- literally. He used the momentum from the attack to fall forward, tucking his head under his arm and doing a full rotation. However, his opponent was quick, and the burst of ki that followed managed to singe his back as he fell.

Suddenly, he rolled back again, flipped onto his hands and attempted to give one final blow to his opponent -- a quick boot to the chin. Being still on the ground, the attack would hopefully come as a surprise. From there, he pushed off from his hands, throwing himself high in the air and flipping over his opponent, landing several meters away.

"You call yourself a god," he mused. "But you are no god. You never will be. To me, you're still a fly.

"I will give you the opportunity to flee, not because I am merciful, but because I grow weary of this game. It seems you can teleport, or something of that nature. Leave me be and I will not kill you -- for now."

As anticipated the twin palms catch their mark, the being rolling forward almost to move from any other on coming attacks, but the ki waves were quicker as it leaves Piccolo's back singed and smoking. The smell is almost putrid as the air moves it around. The next thing that happens catches Jeraph completely by surprise, a boot rises from the seemingly knocked out opponent and catches his square in the jaw, as the moment carries Jeraph a few inches off the ground the being is already behind Jeraph, speaking to him.

The words strike Jeraph like a ton of bricks, he doesn't want to flee he still has a lot in him, that he can put towards this fight, but it's also eating up valuable study time that he needs to make his move to another planet. After a few moments thought he sighs loudly, then walks over and grabs his sword re-sheathing it on his back he looks at his opponent.

"This is no where NEAR done, I will return to finish this."Jeraph says the voice almost a mix of angel and demon.

With these final words Jeraph focus' his ki and lifts off the ground using powered flight to get to the outskirts of Central City. The last two battles still fresh on his mind, he is studying them as he flies.
