Broly felt the winds of the ice caps striking against his back, it's frosty tendrils wrapping around him as if attempting to overwhelm him. The snow was bad enough; it was blinding and disorienting. He could never tell how far he'd trodden through it, how much ground he'd covered. The bitter winds always erased his tracks, leaving him no reference in even his deep footsteps. It was a situation he was often met with in times of duress; a blinding field of white, taking the place of his vision. But this was so different, so changed from what he was used to. What had brought him here? The slight chance that he had truly felt reverberations of power, out in this frozen wasteland? Hmph. He could blame his lust for battle on that one, but so far he'd yet to find a reason to be wrong. Power could be lurking anywhere.

Though the sun was out, the tundra was still fucking freezing. He couldn't overcome that startlingly true fact. Whatever strength lay out there, it certainly wasn't poking it's head out. Perhaps it was just a premonition he'd been imagining? A phantom of his own strength gone astray in his head, in order to lure him to glory. He wouldn't have put it past himself. Although, he was forced to wonder exactly why he'd be brought out here, to this special type of hell in search of strength? What possible power was waiting for him here? He simply couldn't imagine the being that could handle his ears going numb, his body struggling to rattle against all personal denial of the elements. He didn't want to rattle, he wouldn't.

He also neglected to bring his arms in to his side, as if he were treating any sign of his acknowledgement to the cold to be treasonous. He would never appear weak, no matter what force it was acting upon him. Nature could go to hell before it stopped Broly from accomplishing his goals, and he meant that as literally as possible. He wouldn't dare begrudge even the bat of an eye at it's expense, and and as of yet, he had kept his personal promise. Taking in a chilly breath, he let the cold air into his lungs, permitting it to permeate and spread throughout his body. He would let Mother Nature in, as a sign of his willingness to deal with her. The only man who felt the cold, was the man who fought the cold. Broly was not fighting the cold, he was ignoring it.

He had just released a warming exhale, when he felt the power approaching rapidly. Whoever it was, it was now incoming to his location. He stopped in his tracks, frozen by the shiver that exploded down his spine at the very thought. He hadn't been wrong after all. That tendril of might he'd felt creeping out from thin air had been directed to this location; for some reason, Broly felt the bitter urge to destroy it completely. He wanted to wipe it from the face of the Earth, as a flyswatter did a fly. His heart was pounding, pumping out boiling blood as he felt it draw closer. It was weaker than he was, less potent. This only excited him more; he would have the ability to properly demonstrate his new ability, his rising tide of strength.

He ended up smiling, turning his back in the direction that the power was approaching. Slowly, as if hesitant to ensnare the Legendary Warrior, curling whisps of emerald light began to rise from his ankles. They swirled and danced in the air, rising until they reached a peak above his head to unify, and ignite. He could feel it, the heat that was his adrenaline pumping through his veins, the warmth and comfort that only true strength could offer him. As the energy suddenly dispersed into a spherical shape, he broke out into a wild bout of laughter, his body rocking back with each throaty laugh. He could hear his own voice rising above the piercing silence of the wastes, echoing into the air.

Soon, so would his rapidly approaching opponent, whoever said unfortunate soul must have been.

Blood Stained Snow Empty Re: Blood Stained Snow

Post by Kid Trunks Banned 4/6/2012, 1:34 pm

Today, Bardock was in an unfamiliar area one that was cold, its ground was icecaps with snow covering them. Bardock's body got really frozen, his body was about to shut down unless he did a quick power up, which he decided to do he shot energy through his veins and his ki surrounded him. His whole body had a quick burst of heat that warmed him up.

Suddenly a quick blast of snow shot toward Bardock, leaving him with an only option of landing on the ground. As he lowered himself he could feel himself getting colder, as the elevation makes a difference in warmth.

For several more miles, Bardock had no choice but to walk. His body slowed down with every step he took toward wherever this day would lead him. Somewhere deep inside this frozen hell lied a strength that he couldn't quite comprehend.

He felt a power getting closer to him with every second that went by. The ki of this person was clearly stronger then Bardock's, but the question is, is his strength greater? This would be answered soon, the ki source was about five minutes away.

The adrenaline inside the Saiyan couldn't wait. So naturally Bardock took off toward it, flying even though cold lashes of wind shot through his body when he got high enough. Once close he lowered his body on the ground in front of the very buff man, it looked like a Saiyan. "A fight with anther full blooded Saiyan," Bardock thought before he started to speak,

"By the looks of it, your a Saiyan, correct me if I'm wrong but I think your're looking for a fight." Bardock told the buff Saiyan, "I happen to be a Saiyan, Bardock's the name,"

Bardock smiled before he took off at the opponent, releasing a ki wave with it, the energy soared through the air but Bardock couldn't see where because of the windy weather and the snow blowing through the air, but he did know that it hit something.

The Saiyan the released words to the enemy, "Time for one last attack for now,"

Bardock then pulled back his right arm across the left side of his body. He pointed his finger while his hand was facing behind him. Then he charged Ki at the end of his finger and then he flew his finger to the front of him and shot the energy in beam form. Thus the name of the attack was Ki beam. The results may either disappoint or please him.

Blood Stained Snow Empty Re: Blood Stained Snow

Post by Broly 4/7/2012, 7:54 pm

Broly watched as Bardock began mouthing off words of little consequence to him; what did it matter that he was full Saiyan? That would not make the battle anymore gratifying for him. It only made sense of the man's power. Saiyans were naturally more powerful than humans, so it only made sense that the wielder of such strength would be from space, as opposed to a human's earth-based birth. Narrowing his eyes as the other warrior through the blizzard-like conditions, Broly tried his hardest to watch carefully. Without his juggernaut-like state of Super-Saiyan, he would have to rely upon his skill in combat alone. He was still stronger than this fighter, but he couldn't be sure of the difference as of yet. He would discern it through battle, if he had to.

The Saiyan came flying in his direction, his energy sending the snow flying in several directions as he approached, an attempt that could best be regarded as a feint. His opponent stopped short, releasing a clear blast of energy from his hand without apparent effort. The blast itself was nothing special; it was just a wave of energy slung toward him without any chance of hitting. Was he expecting Broly to stand still? It was almost laughable. His body tensed suddenly as the wave of energy traveled in his direction, deciding upon which way to evade. Taking the left could mean a trap, but the right could have been equally dangerous. With that in mind, he decided to go by instinct. Standing there all day would have been too fatal, regardless of this wave's strength.

Kicking off to the left, Broly avoided the wave in one feral motion. His head turned as he adjusted course, watching the blast slam into the mound of snow where he'd been standing previously. Heat was released throughout the area, sending a mixture of snow and water up into the air as if it were a bullet headed for the skies. Broly's attention was then diverted, as he felt a spike of energy rising from his opponent. Turning his head to face the Saiyan warrior through the haze of snow and wind, Broly caught sight of a brief shine. That was clearly the source of the energy spike; leaving him to wonder, how would it be applied? It was obviously intended to be fatal. How trivial. He expected to deal with Broly in such a way?

Broly lifted his right hand into the air, moving his index finger to meet his thumb. Grinning wildly, the Legendary Warrior then flicked his finger forward toward Bardock's emerging beam. The blast that resulted was nearly supersonic, piercing through the air too fast to be seen as anything more than a blur. The only way it was even discernible as released was the brief flash of blinding emerald light from Broly's finger, that trailed through the air toward Bardock's beam. It was obvious to Broly that the attack was going to be negated, taken down before it could have been successful. Having never been on the receiving end of such a failed assault, he could only wonder on the fear that must have been racing through Bardock's mind.

The invisible blast met Bardock's in a flash of light, that rocked the area with a deep, rumbling explosion. Smoke and snow was sent in both directions through the blizzard at speeds nearing hurricane force. Grinning as the explosion was released, Broly continued his approach. Energy began to rotate around his form, creating a sphere of previously untapped energy to surround him. It was sent throughout his body, filling him with adrenaline and a renewed sense of might. He was now easily visible through the snow, however. After all, a flashing ball of emerald-energy that was larger than a man; how stupid would you have to be to miss that?

Bardock's beam could've harmed him if Broly was weak, which he wasn't. Broli's strength was far superior then Bardock's. So in conclusion death was close to Bardock.

Broli decided to force a blast up against his, negating the attack. Bardock had no idea what Negating could due to not only the blast, but Bardock himself. The two attacks pushed against each other and due to Broly's ki power his attack was forced back and the blast that Broli made, killed the ki beam. The blast sped faster at Bardock whose mouth was dropped due to the negate. Bardock's entire body became shocked and once again, the attack of Broli collided with the Saiyan's chest

His body flew back into the freezing snow and the snow that flew into the air landed on his chest, thus being covered in it. Still, Bardock's face had shock on it even though pain was everywhere in his body.

He forced himself onto his feet, brushing off snow off of his face.

"You're going to pay for that," Bardock spoke as he touched a burn mark that scared his face

Bardock placed his feet to his side so they were stretched out. Next he reached to his side at pulled out a sword. It was an Saiyan Elite Sword he had gained on planet Vegeta.

"I'm a third class Saiyan, that doesn't mean crap to you but it mean everything to me, I was given this rank by King Vegeta himself for taking out a planet, even though i turned good and helped the people the King was pleased with more then just my strength," Bardock spoke with no idea where he was going, "So now I may ask, how do you like my sword,"

Bardock took off toward the other Saiyan, pulling out his sword and swinging at the enemy. All the sword had to do was hit.

"Please let this hit, if it doesn't I'm for sure dead," Bardock whispered to himself

Bardock pulled back after the attack and began to get ready for yet anther attack. He charged at the opponent, attempting to nail him in his gut with a Kiai-Ho, if successful it would send Broly flying several meters. All that had to happen now was for his next plan to follow through.

Blood Stained Snow Empty Re: Blood Stained Snow

Post by Broly 4/7/2012, 11:11 pm

He couldn't help but doubt the warrior. There had been many men who, over the course of Broly's life, claimed that they would make him pay. Unfortunately for them, they were rarely correct. Broly had faced down worse things than a smug fighter with a sword, and he couldn't imagine a bigger waste of equipment than giving a blade of grass to a mosquito. That was all he considered Bardock, in truth. An ineffective mosquito, who would end up crushed underneath the weight of his pressure, his might. He could only wonder how much of a disappointment it would be to his king, his society, the people he cared for.

Broly watched as the sword came across from the side, clearly expressing Bardock's intent to cut him in half. Time seemed to slow down as he ducked underneath the blow, watching as several of his hairs were blown away by the arctic winds. If he had been slower than Bardock, he'd have been in for some trouble. Thankfully, the opposite was true. Broly seemed to be faster than the Saiyan whom he was currently engaged in combat with, which was something he found satisfying. He would likely be able to pummel him into dust; unless some rapidly battle changing factor came out of nowhere.

As Broly's head came back up, Bardock's hand extended toward his gut. Crossing his arms out of instinct, the Legendary Saiyan was displeased to feel a sudden push against his midsection. An invisible wall of energy began to shove him back through the snow, kicking up two walls of white from each foot. He could feel the bitter snow landing all around him and on top of him, each individual flake that touched him. Because of their freezing temperature, they felt like tiny bee stings showering down on his back, creating an unpleasant sensation throughout his body. He hated the cold, and Bardock's attack had only made it more obvious. He would need to pay him back.

"You think I care about your toothpick, insect?"

As his body continued to slide, Broly cocked a hand back. Energy quickly began to amass in his palm, roaring into existence while he worked on slowing down. Grinning as the energy came to it's peak, the warrior locked on to his opponent through the haze of snow. Hopefully, this attack would set him up to flatten him with his second; an occurrence Broly would relish should it come to pass. Flatting some nameless motherfuckers in the snow. How much more wonderful could his life get?

Crouching as he came to a halt in the snow, Broly narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth. The energy that had surrounded him expanded into a sphere that appeared ten feet in diameter, now evaporating the snow that was around him. He was clearly ready to attack, judging by the position of his knees and the tensing muscles in his body. However, with his blazing speed, would Bardock be able to evade? If he didn't, Broly would likely flatten him beneath his power. While that experience may have been pleasant for the Legendary Warrior, something told him his opponent would have more reservations about it. Nobody enjoyed being flattened by energy, and that was what made the idea so appealing.

He suddenly burst forward across the snow, sending up a single jet of white in his wake. The jet slowly grew into a wave as he traveled, making an ominous note of what might become of the Saiyan Warrior, regardless of whatever he'd done on Planet Vegeta. A buried hero was a dead man, none the less. The world would never find him, buried in the snow; all alone in an icy grave somewhere north of society. The only man who would know could have been Broly; and Broly was enjoying the hell out of the thought.

Blood Stained Snow Empty Re: Blood Stained Snow

Post by Kid Trunks Banned 4/8/2012, 12:59 pm

Bardock ego had gotten him to far ahead this time. The energy of Broli spun out of control but he was to bruised up from all of Broly's successful attacks. The energy from hell that his enemy let go went straight for his face, exploding on impact.

The pain struck all throughout his body, from the shock of sudden pain Bardock flew backward into the snow, now stained red from his fluid blood that shot from his face. All he could do was get up and fight again, after getting up he realized it was a very bad mistake.

Broli's power shot all around him, making him grow in size. The energy pushed him aside, but instead of forcing against him the energy pushed on top of him. Crushing him underneath the energy. Bardock's entire life shot before him. He saw his home on Vegeta, all the friends and foes he made. The pain exploded as his body got more and more crushed, his life was drained. Finally the pain stopped, after his lungs were punctured by his ribs being forced into his chest and his skull into his Brian. This was the end of his life, all was over.

Bardock's let out his last breath as his head hit the ground and his arms stopped forcing against the energy.

Bardock was dead.

Blood Stained Snow Empty Re: Blood Stained Snow

Post by Broly 4/8/2012, 2:08 pm

Broly stopped in his tracks, allowing the energy around him to slowly dissolve away. He had lost track of Bardock in his assault, likely meaning he had overwhelmed the bastard with his power. While that wasn't all too uncommon, he could hardly believe that all the hubbub had been for such an anticlimactic ending. Releasing a brief snort, the warrior watched as his breath climbed upward, joining the heavens as it dispersed throughout the air. The fight hadn't even managed to warm him up, something he thought both pitiful and unfortunate. With his enemy's strength, he had hoped to find some semblance of warmth, but it looked as though he would have to fly home empty handed. Of course, it wasn't entirely in vain. He would at least have the head of his opponent to use as a display. Such a gift could hardly be denied.

Turning around slowly, Broly began his search for the body. This was his first powerful kill on Earth, and it had remained in tact. He would not waste the fruits of his kill, as to do so would mean that he was lazy, arrogant. He knew that his opponent, however insignificant in skill, had worked to survive. He would honor that in his own way, by removing his head and burning the rest of his body in a blaze of energy, providing him with both warmth and what may have been glee. The question was; where in his path had it landed? Broly had run the man over with his Gigantic Press, and left the body somewhere in his wake. With a normal person, that wouldn't have been too troubling. Unfortunately, Broly could not control his energy very well, meaning that his opponent could have been blasted anywhere. That was if it hadn't been incinerated. He might have gone overboard.

Striding through the bitter snow, the Legendary Warrior continued to search, looking for any sign of a body. A hand sticking out of the snow, a finger or two lying in the ground, even some blood splatters. Though, he doubted he'd find the latter. A splash of crimson on an ocean of white would have been very noticeable, but so should a dead body. It was odd that it was even taking him more than a few seconds to find his pathetic opponent's body. Had it not been so troubling, he'd have taken that sword off of his body. Shockingly, not for himself; he would have given it to Ryouji, or perhaps the other boy, the flightless one. His name was...Thunderfist? Regardless, he'd give it to Little Red Riding Hood, if it wasn't shattered beyond repair, or missing entirely. He doubted the kid would have use for a broken blade, after all. Sure, it was a fine bludgeoning tool, but little else overall.

Suddenly, Broly caught sight of a limp figure in the snow. From the way it looked, the guy had landed head first and slid into the bank. How unfortunate; had he survived, he would have been cold as hell. But, no living creature would dare lay in the snow for such a period, especially not in an area where frostbite was probably as fatal as Broly was...Unless he was giving nature too much damn credit. As previously stated, Nature could kindly fuck off somewhere. Broly himself didn't care for the cold, nor the warmth; he cared only that Bardock lay dead in the snow. Approaching to confirm his kill the survivor slowly placed his palm on the man's boot, wrapping his fingers around Bardock's ankle in order to lift him from the bank. Had he been of average strength for a human, it may have been difficult. Thankfully, Broly was anything but of average strength. Hell, his strength had clearly dwarfed that other Saiyan's.

Tugging at the man's ankle with a grunt, he found satisfaction as the now familiar shaggy head emerged from the bank. His body was limp, and his breathing was nonexistent. He could only imagine how quick his death was; he hoped it was slow, and bothersome; like the opposite of their battle. Had he put up a fight, he'd have mercifully given his enemy a quicker, more honorable death. There was no way Bardock had found honor in being crushed underneath the weight of a monstrous force of nature such as Broly. Few found solace in the arms of death, after the Legendary Super Saiyan had killed them. However, he could not argue that they weren't often relieved. Fear fought for supremacy in the lives of those Broly had a distaste for, and terror inhabited the hearts of those for whom he felt disdain. Those he did not like, did not survive. That was the simplicity of things in the Universe at base level.

He examined the body carefully, noting the armor and the scarring. It looked as though he was reasonably experienced, probably a warrior or some shit like that. He wondered how that "king" would have felt now, knowing that his fighter had gone down so easily. Probably like an ass, if anything. Saiyans took pride in their own strength, and that of their company. Bardock's weakness would only make King Vegeta look like a fool, a man who had poor taste in the strong and took shop with the weaker members of Saiyan-kind. In all honesty, Broly could not blame those who saw it that way. As he was the only one who knew of Bardock's death, he was the only one who could have seen it that way. Though, he had to wonder how many lives that man had been responsible for snuffing out.

The thought that he may have done the universe a service sickened him to his core. It was enough to reduce the grin on his face to a more blank expression, one that was more standard to his mood. He could hardly find satisfaction, knowing he had ended the life of someone who may have been like himself. A much weaker, smaller version of himself. Viewing the man in a new sense of disgust and impatience, Broly was tempted to throw the man off into another snow drift. The mere thought that he had wasted his time was terrible enough; but to have wasted his time with a petty murderer? It was so unseemly. Now, he didn't often use terms like unseemly, but this did certainly seem to him as though he had wasted his time. Bardock had been a boring opponent after all, and the fact that he was considered to be powerful by a King? That was just terrible.

Maybe he wouldn't take this head after all. He tossed the body up into the air, watching it as it went rag doll from his throw. Though it had already been rendered limp and unusable, he enjoyed the sensation that was created throughout his body by watching it. It was a sense of finality, a sense of completion. He had completed a goal by destroying that man, and he had done it well. Watching intently as Bardock's body came crashing toward the Earth, Broly extended his hand, keeping his wrist curled inward. He had to be patient, otherwise he'd just break the dead fool's body even more. Snarling as he caught his dead opponent by that black mop atop his head, Broly rose his face to eye level. For just a moment, he stared, examining the man as if memorizing his features. He had the honor of being his first "powerful" (the term was used very liberally, here) opponent on the planet Earth. He would want to remember this, just a little.

After all, this would be the face he remembered when he reduced the entire planet to nothing but space dust between his mighty fingers. Though, in the end, he didn't suppose it mattered much. Raising his other hand into the air, he didn't bother looking toward it as a swirling storm of condensed energy formed around it, slowly molding itself into a blade-like shape. Continuing to look as unaffected as possible, Broly hesitantly moved the blade toward the dead Saiyan's neck. Severing a head cleanly was tricky business; one wrong move and you had half a skull, and no bowl to store the blood. That was just a situation gone horribly wrong, and a situation he wanted to avoid at all costs, truth be told. Blood on his hands wasn't the problem; it was dealing with the coppery scent, the taste of metal that always seemed to fill his mouth. He didn't need to deal with the hassle of removing it. Showers were time wasters as it was, but he didn't need to spend hours getting the grit out of his hair.

With one smooth motion, he brought his hand across the warrior's neck, successfully separating body from head. The cauterization of the wound (with the Blade's energy) was enough to prevent the blood from splattering all over the snow and his body. Cracking his own neck to assure himself that it was indeed attached to his head, Broly didn't even look as Bardock's body made a soft 'squish' as it hit the blinding snow. He had been in enough of the material to memorize the crunching noise his boots made as he walked, the feeling of it melting against his warm skin. It made him sick; he wanted to get the fuck outta dodge, namely, the arctic. Breathing calmly as his body suddenly lifted into the air, he briefly considered attempting to blow up the entire ice cap...Unfortunately, he had to eventually concede that he had not yet regained all of his lost power, and would likely be unable to destroy them completely. In the end, the attempt wouldn't be worth it.

It'd be just like the oxygen Bardock had wasted so carelessly. It was hard to express exactly how disappointed Broly was. It literally could not be said enough that this entire fiasco had wasted his time, and his energy. The power level he'd met, and the one he'd been expecting were two different things entirely. One was full of promise, of the hope for a good battle. The other was fuckin' deader than a door nail, and nothing could be done at this point to change that. If he could have been refunded the lost time however, it would have all been made up for...

But at least he now had a cool enough looking item to burn in Ryouji's fireplace. He was relatively sure that the boy wouldn't mind the scent of burning human flesh, considering the fact that it was coupled with a victory for the Inquisition. Oh yes, Broly was going to claim this poor bastard had threatened them. Of course, he'd done nothing of the sort, but why would the child have to know that? It would keep him on his feet well enough to accomplish the task Broly was looking for, and perhaps drive him to instill the Legendary Warrior with more strength, more knowledge on the art of ki energy. Shit, he might even convince him to teach the one kid how to fly, so that Broly didn't have to. Who knew, with the purple headed one? He was always full of mysterious, and sometimes even gifts.

Hopefully, this would be one of those days.
