The door slammed shut, loudly...

Cody jumped at the noise that crashed from the how it had closed so harshly. His eyes glanced off to the corner of his sockets in some attempt as if trying to veiw it. His head shook in discern at that moment while he collected up a mental note within himself to be stored as a reminder that he would need to be repairing that when he ever was presented the chance. There was much more to be done, however, from what he looked out upon when his eyes made their way back into the center of the building.

The building was large, but mainly only because there were no rooms within it. The structure that Cody found himself was once a large garage for vehicle repairs and other mechanical needs ranging from small engines to large trucks. He could remember seeing the place when it was full of tools, parts, and projects. Weathered stains of oil still marked the cold, smooth concrete pavement that made up the floor in spots that vehicles were parked while they were being fixed. That was years ago, however, when Cody was just a child and watching his uncle work on one peice or another. The old shop hadn't seen anything like that for years upon that.

Eventhough it was covered in dust and dirt, the items that had all been left behind were still there. Not all of them were still in the same spot, due to burgalry. Sagging bags of sand used for makeshift training for various strikes were still hanging off to the side from the large iron beams that supported the ceiling. His fingers touched the leather softly of one of the bags for a brief second, thinking back to the hours that he had placed into the hundreds and hundreds of jabs that the fabric suffered by his own knuckles.

That was when his attention turned from it toward the center of the room, where an old square boxing arena stood. His boots tracked his own footprints across the dust caked floor as he made his way to the ropes surrounding the waist high mat. His elbows were slung up to rest on the bottom of the three ropes and he just stared to the center of the arena. The want and need of desiring the time to absolutely submerse himself in all of the memories that were beginning to flood in on him was almost irresistable, but he knew that it wasn't possible at that place in time.

It was no secret that King was back and his hiatus was done. It was time to train...

"Why was I sent to this shit hole of a planet? What could I have possibly done to deserve it?" grumbled the Saiyan Prince Vegeta.

He had left his wrecked ship several miles behind in the middle of a dense forest. All he had with him was what he wore; his traditional royal blue cape that had been ripped down the middle, his damaged royal blue uniform and his muddied off-white boots.

He took in the sickeningly sweet odor of newly wet grass and continued his trek from the landing zone. The scents of Earth only fueled his frustration of his current circumstances. Flying creatures called out with annoying screeches and caws, likely alerting one another of the strange visitor that was Prince Vegeta. He glared up at a large bird and smirked when it sensed his power before fleeing. Several birds followed behind it, clearing the skies above the prince.

He was on the outskirts of a city he didn't know the name of, and he didn't care. He was furious that he was on Earth and not back on his home planet, whipping new Saiyan recruits into shape. They had to be prepared for any and all battles that they would take part in and he couldn't trust anyone that he didn't personally see train. His father was still home, but more than likely he was busy dealing with intergalactic politics of any planet fearing a hostile takeover.

With every step Vegeta took, his thoughts were headed toward a darker and darker place. He wanted blood and he wanted it soon. He hoped beyond all hope that someone was unfortunate enough to cross his path so he could relieve himself of some of his frustration. Whether it be a man, woman, child, or animal, someone would feel his wrath.

His dark thoughts clouded his judgement and sense of direction. When he nearly tripped over a sidewalk curb, he snapped back to reality. He was in the middle of a busy city and no one gave him a second look. Were Saiyans a common sight on Earth? It was possible that King Vegeta had spread his people out to such a weak planet, but why wasn't it conquered like the rest? The thoughts running through the Saiyan Prince's mind were driving him mad.

His day was going from bad to worse.

His dark eyes narrowed when he spotted a large building that was probably a repair shop for Earth's road vehicles. People were paid to fix things and they often had information on the city they worked in. Finally feeling as if his long walk wasn't for nothing, he sped up his pace and went straight for the building. Once inside, he was met by what appeared to be a human casually leaning on ropes surrounding a square platform.

Vegeta cleared his throat before making his demands. "Tell me where I am and where I can find someone that can fix my piece of shit ship."

One could never quite shake the feeling of when another presence was made aware. Ever since Cody had learned how to actually distinguish the one source from another, it had always struck him as strange when it occurred. He didn’t know what it was that caused such a strange sensation. There were so many effects that came along with the feeling and no two were ever entirely the same. There were similarities, such as the ‘pull’ that felt like his own energy was being drawn to the other source and the eerie feeling as if you’re body was falling while asleep when greater concentrated source of Ki were detected.

Cody’s eyes darted to the door before it ever opened. Déjà vu poured over him like sunlight, which was common when the young warrior knew something was their before it was ever made visible, or known at that matter. It was another strange effects brought on by the sensation of being allowed to look through the ocean of energy that propelled the world through its existence. It still was a frightening feeling, though, knowing something was coming, but not knowing what to truly expect to actually see.

That time was no different, at all…

The door opened. Wrinkles started to crease his forehead as Cody’s brow raised in a slight bit of confusion at what did actually come through the door. There at the entrance way stood, if one could actually say standing could be determined at such a height, a short stature man. He was hardly to Cody’s chest, if it wasn’t for the ebony hair that stood from a widow’s peak to spiky points. The air that surrounded the short figure of a man, though, was anything other than that, however. It was barely noticeable because of the condition that he was in, the torn clothes and rag hanging from his back, but just from posture and speech alone Cody could sense the ego.

"Tell me where I am and where I can find someone that can fix my piece of shit ship." The near midget demanded after he voiced out a grunting noise to clear his throat.

“What?” Cody asked in a moment of bewildered surprise at what had walked through the door.

The Human was still leaning on the ropes of the arena. He hadn’t quite wanted to move from his spot, mostly because of his mind was still lingering on the memories that the place had for him, but also because the odd coincidence of his new guest stumbling his way into the building. That was when the reality of the stranger’s power rivaling that of his own had snapped him into a more alert mindset. His posture changed from holding his own weight up with his elbows to standing straight and facing the little man.

“Depends on what it is…I’m a fair mechanic, but this ain’t any sort of shop anymore…” Cody stated while glancing to the objects inhabiting the large room.

Play nice…
