Trunks vs Buu

It was time to step his training up a notch.

Trunks let out a deafening roar, balling both fists as power surged through him. A white aura exploded, strands of flame-like energy whipping all around him. The ground cracked and splintered into a spiderweb. With a final exertion, the ground around him finally erupted, sending shards of rock flying in all directions.

He gathered ki into two concentrated spheres on energy in both of his fists and dashed across the rocky desert terrain. The targets he had set up were small green glass bottles, placed in strategic, hard to see locations. It would take a great amount of concentration for him to be moving at his max speed and still hit the targets.

Nothing more than a blur, he swerved between the jagged mesas, flinging the orbs of ki as he passed by. He didn't bother to stop and see if he hit the target. All he heard was a the pop of explosions and the crumbling of falling rock behind him.

At the end of his run he bounded off a large cliff and tumbled, head first, towards the sea. With a pulse of ki, he twisted his body around, until his was facing edifice rushing by. He had placed the last bottle among a craggy tree protruding from the side of cliff. There was no time to think, as it neared. Gritting his teeth against the force of his descent, he fired the last blast--and it missed. The explosion took out half of the cliff side, knocking the bottle free. It glimmered in the sunlight as it fell, and he watched it fall--disappointed in his lack of aim.

As punishment for his failure, he let himself plunge into the waves. The sea was cold, yet somewhat refreshing. He lingered beneath the waves, the sea tugging him to and fro. When his lungs began to burn with the desire for oxygen, he decided to emerge again, flying back up.

Landing atop the cliff, he watched the droplets of salty sea water drip off his frame and splatter onto the dusty rock. As he started to look up he nearly jumped back out of fear as he saw a strange twisted looking pink demon standing before him.

"Uh, hello?"

The elastic pink demon stood in the patchy verdant fields mixed up with sand and dust. Commotion echoed throughout the surrounding mesas that were tall enough to scrap the sky. He fixed his attention up at exploding lights that lit up the sky and smoke thick enough to blot out the sun. Buu was enjoying his morning meal when some punk had to fly around and disturb his peace.

Irritated enough, Buu squished the half bitten apple that he clutched heavily within his palm, dropping the remains to the ground. He grunted, floating in to the sky to seek out the problem. Peripheral vision caught sight of splashing water, as if something of decent weight fell in to the water depths. A man surfaced from the saphiric liquids. Buu's eyes redder than molten lava gazed down at his suspect.

His lips were sealed, only a gaze of death fixated upon what appeared to be a human below. His attire was tattered and torn. As he suspected this man was causing all the ruckus. A discontent frown graced his lips as he leaned backwards firm and tall. His neck leaned foward as his eyes widened and his mouth opened with such a sadistic smile.

The demon with villanous intent extended his left arm palm, and fingers out. He smirked and unleashed a blast of pink energy at his foe, attempting to blow his body out of the water.

The pink demon made no response. Trunks, still dripping wet from his ascent, shuddered upon seeing the malice within his eyes. Typically, a being with skin the same hue as bubble gum, would have made the Half-Saiyan chuckle, but there was something wild within its eyes. They were red--a haunting red as if the very depths of hell were burning within them.

The demon leaned back and then its neck came forward, almost unnaturally. Trunks could see that its flesh was clearly flexible, almost as if it were made of rubber.

"What the hell are you?" Trunks said and lowered into his stance.

It brought its hand forward and suddenly Trunks's line of sight was filled with a blinding pink light. He had no time to react to such a sudden attack. The ki blast slammed into his gut. After a large explosion, he was sent flying backward off the cliff. With his body still smoking, he corrected himself in midair with a pulse of ki. Using it like a rebound, he then came back at the demon, his white aura blazing across the azure sky.

He attempted to land high-speed elbow in the center of the demons' chest, hopefully to send it flying. He followed up with a rising knee. Doing a front flip in the air, he finished his onslaught by bringing both of his feet down, attempting to stomp the pink creature.

Trunks' body went soaring the other direction from the vicious blast that Buu left him with. The content demon turned his back and slowly began walking away, treading through the grass. Buu could now continue with his morning of not slaughtering anyone as of yet. Unbeknownst to the creature, his opponent was closing in fast with a bent elbow that was now aimed to connect with his back instead of his front. Buu twisted his entire neck, along with his head around to face his backside. His mouth open wide as his opponent would have to witness an appalling grin.

Buu swayed to the side of the man, side-stepping his incoming elbow. He was caught by surprise as his following attack landed up in to his chin. The attack didn't move his placement however. The ominous pink creature was sent in to the ground as a result of the double stomp that landed in to his back, this would result that Buu's face would still be facing toward Trunks. Hi head quickly swung back around in to the dirt as he picked himself up and launched himself at his opponent.

Buu wasted no time in reacting to the opening, he smiled viciously as he reached out with a powerful clothesline, attempting to slam him in the neck with his arm. Buu's magnificent sanguine optics targeted his opponent. A grin aroused from his mouth as a massive pink orb formed on the villain's palm. He thrusted it quickly down toward where his foe was flailing. A beam of energy raced to meet with the man. If the attack connected, it would cause serious terrain and humanly damage.

Trunks floated, watching as the pink demon descended towards the ground below. However, its landing was anti-climatic. The strange rubbery substance the creature was composed of somehow lessened the force of the impact. And then, it bounced back, flying up into the sky at blazing speeds. Trunks had no opportunity to react and braced himself for the inevitable impact.

The pink demon's forearm slammed into his windpipe. Luckily, he had held his breath before the strike landed, so his breathing wasn't obstructed. It still hurt badly, so much he felt tears welling at the corner of his eyes. The attack had plenty of momentum and which sent the Half-Saiyan into a spin as he plummeted.

Gritting his teeth against the G-force, he managed to correct himself with a few pulses of ki and landed on the ground on one knee. He sunk down several feet, creating a rather large crater. The force of the impact sent up clumps of dirt and rock into the air.

Trunks looked up to see another pink energy blast headed his way. This time he was able to prepare himself. He turned his body sideways and flailed out at the blast, swiping it aside. The heat of the ki scorched his arm and he rubbed it as he watched blast disappear into the distance.

“Not bad,” Trunks said. “Do you have a name? I'm Trunks.”

Widening his stance, Trunks clenched both of his fists and began to draw out his ki. A fiery white aura enveloped him and the ground began to shake violently. Shards of rock and clumps of dirt swirled around him, before he let out a roar and a pulse of energy that sent them flinging in all directions.

At the peak of his power, he vanished into a blur of movement. He re-appeared at Buu's left side swinging right leg around in a full power side kick.

Buu witnessed Trunks beginning to power himself up. The demon laughed maniacally without concern at the warrior. Judging by what he had been displaying so far Buu thought that this puny man was no threat to him. Buu was overconfident of his victory. He gently waved his arm in front of himself as a gesture for Trunks to bring his worst.

In a blazing display of speed Trunks charged in at the egotistical demon. Buu had never seen such an enigma before. For that instant his eyes widened with fear, there was nothing he could throw up to defend himself. Trunks appeared off the left flank. As startled and hesitant as Buu was he had no time to react. The man swung his leg aiming it at Buu's side. The left side of Buu's abdomen caved in like hitting play-doh sending him soaring through the sky unwillingly.

With a few bursts of ki he stopped himself and frowned down at his opponent. He reached down by his side as he pulled the elastic skin back in to place. Buu rubbed his side curious of the sensation he felt from the impact. An instant later a aura of pure fuchsia energy spawned over his figure as he began powering up.

With outstretched arms, and cupped palms, Buu curled his fingers inward and slammed heel of his hands together. He brought them behind his back, and began charging his energy into spherical form, resting it at the left side of his waist. Buu's red eyes stared a cold-hearted hate at his enemy.

"TIME TO DIE!", He yelled clear across the large gap between them.

Buu brought forth his arms, and cupped hands. A large sapphire blue tunnel of energy propelled through the sky down at his foe, hoping to cause an enormous amount of damage.

Trunks's kick had distorted the pink demon's body in a grotesque manner. He felt slightly sick to his stomach as he watched it plummet to the ground below. And then it seemed to correct its misshapen flesh, as if the grievous wound was nothing more an a simple inconvenience.

"W-what the hell are you?"

Pink energy erupted around the demon as it began to power up and Trunks waited, letting it release its ki. Flames of pink light danced around it as the ground shook violently beneath its feet. It brought his arms behind its back and Trunks saw blue light starting to emanate.

Crap, he's preparing a big attack.

"Time to Die!" the pink demon said, before it thrust both its hands forward with palms touching, fingers inverted.

A sphere of light rested between both palms and it erupted into a massive beam of ki. Trunks could do nothing more than cross his arms and pray as the beam engulfed him whole.

He fell to the earth, streamers of smoke trailing off of his body. His jacket and tank top were in tatters and his body covered in burns. There was no swift recovery, Trunks felt as if every bone in his body was broken. He bounced across the craggy ground and slid to a stop beneath the shadow of a giant mesa.

Grunting through the pain, he forced himself to his feet. All he wanted to do was just lay there in the dirt for awhile, but if he did he was surely a dead man. The demon was surely lurking, staring him down with those insidious red eyes. If Trunks hoped to survive this ordeal, he had to bring the offensive.

Steeling his body from the pain that was still coursing through it, Trunks charged across the ground, snaking this way through the mesas. He was hoping to confuse and distract his opponent with erratic movements. Eventually, he slid to a stop behind the pink terror and came at him with a trio punches, all aimed at his lower back, where his spine would be--if he even had a spine.

With a roar of rage and defiance, Trunks's white aura exploded around him and he flew at the demon attempting to ram him as hard as he could with his shoulder blade. He proceeded with a flurry of sharp kicks aimed towards the being's head, hopefully enough to stagger it.

Trunks snaked through the incoming pillars of rock attempting to confuse his opponent. Buu grinned as he watched the foolish Saiyan try to outsmart him with such a common battle tactic. Unfortunately Buu just couldn't keep up with the one factor that led to Trunks' successful attack.. his speed. Buu took a half turn toward Trunks as the Saiyan targeted his lower back with an array of quick jabs ending up in his hip region instead. The demon's skin caved in and his eyes widened from the pain of the connections to his body. Buu's back arched from the contact of Trunks' pummeling, as the Saiyan leaped backwards.

Trunks' viciously rushed in shoulder first at his enemy the charged ram connected, and stunned Buu temporarily for a few seconds as his eyes almost blew out the front of his skull from impact. Buu regained his composure quickly, not allowing Trunks any room for another 100% successful strike. The startled demon swayed side to side on pure impulse and panic. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to stop the other half of his barrage. This resulted with Trunks' last few attempts to land in the demon's face successful, staggering him backward a few feet.

Buu held his face in pain. The angry demon unveiled his face to Trunks gritting his teeth.

"Why you! I've had enough of you!"

Buu leaped in at Trunks head first dishing out a myriad of punches and kicks all blindly aimed at his face and chest. Cunningly enough the pink demon retracted from his assault as he leaped backwards. A fiery pink aura exploded around Buu as charged up quickkly. He rushed in with all of his might at Trunks hoping to startle him with his previous attack. Buu rushed head first, slamming his head right at Trunks' skull with enough velocity and strength to possibly fracture or shatter a portion of his cranium.

"Why you! I've had enough of you!" the pink demon said.

"So you can articulate words?" Trunks said and then grinned. "That means you're not a mindless beast after all."

The demon wasted no time in responding to Trunks with a flurry nasty blows. Trunks met the demon's punches by swinging his arms up in front of him. He swatted the first two away with of the flat of his forearm and caught the last one with the palm of his hand. Even after the attack's ending, he could feel his arms throbbing in pain from absorbing the impact. But, otherwise, he was better off than if they had landed on his face or body.

With little warning, Buu was gone from sight. Flickering fuschia light in the corner of his eyes brought Trunks whirling around, only to find Buu's skull slamming into his own. Blood and spittle flew from his mouth and he felt his head snap back violently. He careened through the air for awhile, before correcting himself. Touching down atop a nearby mesa, he slid to a stop and rubbed his aching jaw.

"You crazy bastard," he said and spat out a wad of crimson saliva.

In a flicker of motion, Trunks was gone from the mesa, as if he vanished into thin air. He re-appeared right above Buu and came down with a heavy elbow aimed at the base of the phallus shaped tail atop its head.

Trunks had taken quite the abuse from his enemy and knew that he needed to end it fast, or it could carry on all day. Launching himself backwards, he put some space between Buu and himself. Placing both arms in front of him, he turned his wrists so his fingers were facing outwards. From the space between both of his palms, a bead of blue ki appeared, quickly swelling until it was the size of a softball.

"Buster Cannon!"

The orb surged forth, forming into a shimmering blue beam of ki. It rapidly expanded as it tore through the hazy dust filled atmosphere, headed for impact with the pink menace.

He just hoped it would be enough...

Buu grinned diabolically after sending his opponent careening in to a nearby pillar. His legs braced to the ground, as he shoved the elbows of his arms down by his side. His veins began bulging from the adrenaline rush. "YOU WANT MORE OF BUU? COME GET BUU!" The pink tyrant screamed confidently at his foe that was resting atop the nearby mesa. All of a sudden Trunks had dissapeared out of sight. This left Buu flustered. The pink menace turned every which way he could in search of his opponent. Anxiety set in as Buu could not find Trunks. He continue to search frantically.

Trunks swooped back in above Buu, driving his elbow down in to the skull of his opponent. Buu's eyes widened from impact, damn near rushing out the front of his head. With the top of his skull dented, his eyes shifted over to Trunks as he was once again temporarily stunned. Trunks stepped back, and left off a furious ki attack. The Buster Cannon hurled toward Buu, emitting the skies with a blue radiance as it connecting with the pink tyrant, exploding on impact. The menace known as Buu was temporarily defeated as he layed motionless and charred on the ground.
