Lights gathered and danced through the Saiyan’s head while his fingers gripped at silken sheets, struggling to grasp hold of sanity and semblances of solidarity. His power was fluctuating; rising and falling as his chest sank and consequently ascended, his lungs filling with air he wasn’t sure he wanted. It wasn’t that Broly sought death; he sought some form of escape from the rock he found himself stranded upon. It was no longer possible for him to survive in space, for him to float off in some protective barrier.

The crystal embedded in his necklace however, seemed to take heed of his wishes; for once, something was working for him. It’s pink light slowly rose above the flares of emerald that seemed to soar from wall to wall in his room, a consequence of the turmoil he was experiencing somewhere within the murky depths of his mind. Broly’s head had always been and was likely to remain a maimed beast, wounded by years of distrust and misuse and betrayal. Like many children, he had not been raised in the most perfect of homes.

However, one could hardly call his fate deserving. For one born with power, the burdens were many; especially when said power was unique and possibly infinite. He had been growing stronger since his birth, growing eternally powerful until that fateful day when he was cast off, hurled to Earth and left to die. Whether it had been Paragus, whether it had been the ship-- he didn’t know anymore. He just knew he had felt so weak since arriving on Earth. So helpless, despite the fact that he slaughtered all who he encountered.

His head suddenly rose, swiveling to examine his surroundings, which had shifted dramatically. All around him, blue grass was rising from beneath him, as white clouds gathered in an almost emerald sky. His brow furrowed, the corners of his mouth bending into a scowl as he noted the dreamlike quality of this world in which he had suddenly found himself. For the briefest of moments, he wondered if Earth had been but a shitty dream; at least, until he noted the flashes of pink emerging from his necklace.

”Gah.”, he released an exasperated snort as he rose to his feet, his breath still coming in ragged gasps. This crystal had transported him somewhere else once again, somewhere more pleasant than he had been prior. He couldn’t say he was particularly displeased with his development (though he was rarely pleased with anything), but he knew he would return to the Earth upon waking from his slumber.

The grass felt...velvety, beneath his bare feet. It was an inversion from his current situation; the grass on Earth was meant to be crushed beneath his foot, whereas the grass here seemed to grow despite his insistence to the contrary. Forcing his lips closed tightly, the Saiyan closed his eyes, ignoring the bright suns which seemed to race across the sky above. He turned his mind to a more useful pursuit, like finding out why he had been brought to this distant planet across the galaxy.

It hadn’t taken him long to adjust to his surroundings. Broly had long ago learned that each Planet had the potential to be different, varying from rolling plains to lengthy fields of lava or ice. At least he hadn’t landed somewhere in the latter; he fucking hated the cold.

Then, it happened. He latched on to a foreign signature, something that rose above the peasant-like strengths this planet had to offer. It was not the most powerful on the planet, likely because of his fresh arrival; but it was certainly something of note. His eyes sprang open, examining the patch of grass at his feet whilst his fists took time to clench. Immediately, emerald light forced the ground to shatter beneath him as a banshee-like scream rose above the sounds of nature.

His might was emerging, scattering the soil beneath his feet and forcing clouds to change direction. He would not let his arrival go unrecognized; even if this creature lacked the ability to sense his arrival, he would have to see the sudden shift in winds, the flow of everything as it contracted and slowly rattled in the Saiyan’s direction. He was like an Earthquake with the power to shake the sky itself; an unrestrained conduit of might and energy.

It was this power that the universe seemed to covet. It was this unstoppable juggernaut of might that seemed to illicit the dealings of the shady and the strange, it was Broly himself that drew in his own misery. But, could he control his power? He had not been formally trained at any point, not that Paragus had made an effort to do so. To the best of his recollections, the old man had let him stew and grow, before finally attempting to end his life.

”Come out, insects! Come out, children! Come to greet what you’ve drawn to this rock now!”

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Revenge.

The sole intent on extracting back payment. This payment is justified by your own sense of righteousness when all else fails. This concept is what drove Sigea. He was full of spite and hate towards his life. Not because of his upbringing but because of a single individual, Amora. Amora was an elder sister of his and had put him through tremendous torture all for the sake of her amusement. He was belittled for the sake of her laughter and excitement and watched to squirm.

So there the Changeling stood. He looked over the falls and back around himself. He thought this would be the grand opportunity to test it out. He had been fiddling with an idea of his for a while now and since no one was present, he would definitely test thing out. Upon sitting down the Icer would go into a monk-style state as he concentrated his energy and meditated. After a few minutes he shook his head as every time he closed his eyes her snickering lips could be seen. Her alluring eyes that made him trust her, only to be tortured by her ridiculous humor.

He stood up and bent his knee’s a bit as he brought his arms to his side by the waist, hands open. His hands were cupped as if they had something in them as A ghastly exhale could be heard from the Icer. In a short amount of time his ghastly sound was dwarfed by a flutter of the very black clothes he had on. They ruffled about as the wind around him was not picking up but, the very energy from his own body. It continued to ravage about until a Purple tint seem to glow over his body. This tint was kinetic at based but worked more like a discoloring of his actual body, making the blue turn purple and his skin to grew a little more pale. The Life force was starting to combine.

His feet, triangular in design were able to grip the mountain tops and see into the ground a bit as rocks around the child-like being started to rumble on the ground. The wind he created caused them to not rise up but to swirl on the ground around him as he was a center and his energy was the proverbial spoon that stirred them in position. The rage was building. More imagery was seen of his past. His mother and Father… their deaths at the hand of his sister; that bitch.

His energy now grew from a discoloring to a soft blaze. It wasn’t over his entire body but just over his arms and shoulders, the top half of his body. His muscles tightened as his body was starting to get more tone and veins bulged over his arms. The natural protective wear that all of his kind had was flashing around his head, chest and tail area. Then what came next was a tremendous yell.
The Fire consumed his body slowly. It moved just like real heat, burning his form all over as his actual power level rose to a height which it had not been before. This technique was not Flaming Aura, nor was it the Thunder flash. It was a culmination of his desires infesting his core with rage. This rage built like a fire and consumed the very air around him. His body began to float as it projected itself from the ground by crushing in the very top of the mountain causing an indention in its form.

His body rose as he was moving up towards the heavens until he stopped. He was no longer standing with a slight lean, now fully erect and his hands was clinched, still not in a fist. The energy around him began to react upon a device he maintained in the form of a jewel on his tail bracer. It was Frost who had given it to him a few days ago and he told Sigea it would help when he needed it most. It began to react and it reacted the same way as the fire did from his force. The very air around him was beginning to break away… I mean BURN away.

It started off slowly from his body but then reached around the entire backdrop behind him as clouds were from dark to light. The sky from a early morning to a sunny afternoon. It continued as Sigea reached a new level of sound with his yell that seemed to not only wake the clouds but burn the skies of Namek itself. But the most peculiar thing is… it started to not look like Namek anymore. The tree’s were more well defined and the landscape didn’t seem so secluded and void of life. Where exactly was he?

The Icer still had ascended his strength to new heights as the rocks that formed around him were no longer there, burned to a crisp in the wake of his fire. The veins on his neck bulged as his hand started to grow slightly bigger. Sigea opened his eyes as he felt the pulse of another. His hand returned back to its normal size. But his anger continued to consume him even though he felt another. The sky had for lack of a better turn “regenerated” itself from the force of his own energies.

The landscape was like a meadow field, full of lush and lavish green produce, woodland creatures and life in abundance. Had this Astral Jewel took him some place, twisting the fabric of reality and common sense alike? One thing was certain as the yell from two beings were apparent. Sigea shrugged it off as he would let nothing interrupt him, however they might have other plans.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Post by Broly 7/19/2012, 12:42 pm

As Broly focused on his own power, the landscape seemed to blur by him; it shifted and changed as he moved closer to the other somewhat large power in the area. Their crystals had synced; the Saiyan had identified his opponent for the night, a ki signature reminiscent of the boy on Earth, if not a bit more powerful. Broly however, was not the one to ask. He was rarely able to differentiate between weaknesses, and this fellow was weaker than him by a fair amount. However, he couldn’t be certain; the Astral Plane was prone to energy distortion.

As his energy peaked, the blurring subsided with his screams. He was now in the middle of what appeared to be a deep, thin valley. The walls had risen up around him from seemingly nowhere, encompassing his view on both right and left sides. He could only fathom where he was now; galactic landscapes were often varied and different, this place appeared to be like an inverted Earth. He had seen oceans on his way to this place, he had seen great plains of blue grass. He hadn’t exactly seen pine trees or bustling cities, but he had put that down to underdevelopment.

Far above him stood a warrior who felt vaguely familiar to him; he looked much like the soft-hearted one on Earth. He looked like Sairai. However, a cursory examination of his energy proved that to be impossible. This one was too weak, even with the possibility of distortion. His energy was ablaze too ferociously, his power too haphazardly wielded. His strength was somehow darker, murkier in a way indescribable. Broly could not quite place how he knew this, though he would have chalked it up to grim instinct.

Hesitantly, as if he would shift through space once more, the warrior rose to meet this new being. All around him emerald energy was lashing out at the valley walls, or had this been a land formation caused by the creature above him? It wouldn’t have been very shocking. His own transformation had the potential to terraform the world beneath his feet, and he had learned that Changelings had particularly violent transformations themselves. It was not outside of the realm of reason that this thing could have created the crevice through which he now flew.

Rocks crumbled and dislodged before falling down toward the ground below as Broly climbed, his eyes still fixed on the shape of a changeling in the green sky. He would figure this thing out; he would learn its strength, its tics, its fears and its motives. What could he possibly have to fear from this power, which didn’t even meet his own halfway? Eyes narrowed, the Saiyan doubted there was any reason to worry. He was the strongest warrior in the known galaxy, aside from a meddlesome human who had already proven himself ill equipped for battle.

Broly’s fist quickly cocked at his hip, a strobe-light like ball of ki materializing within his fingertips as he cleared the top of the crevice. If this creature had failed to sense his initial arrival, he would not likely be able to identify this small ball of focused power at his waist. He felt a bead of sweat roll down his brow as he struggled to keep it condensed, his fingertips twitching and shaking as it struggled to strengthen itself. Even Broly it seemed, was ill equipped to handle his own power. He wasn’t even transformed and yet, here it was that his strength towered over all else on this Astral Plane.

”Hn.”, he grunted out what was best perceived as a warning before his hand swung upward like some kind of toss. The ball of ki previously held in his hand now flew freely, accelerating as Broly’s body slowed to a halt. Some would call this a surprise attack but the screeching of his energy as it rolled across the sky was unmistakable; he was attacking with the hopes that he had found an at the least, amusing opponent. They may not have been very powerful in comparison but they still held the chance to provide him with pleasure and satisfaction as he either broke their bones or crippled them.

Perhaps, if this warrior could show him an intriguing battle, a moment of blissful combat in the skies of some foreign world, Broly could find future use from him. The warriors he had been encountering as of late were notably sub par, in both skill and instinct. It was incredibly rare to find a warrior whose instincts were even close to matching his own, rare to find a warrior whose raw ability managed to grant him survival against a tidal wave of power so overwhelming. Perhaps this creature, this changeling by the looks of him, could provide Broly with some interest.

If he didn’t, Broly had no qualms with attempting to finish him off before the Crystal decided to send him home. He didn’t know how long he had been asleep, but he somehow doubted he had much time left before he was whisked away, back to the middle of nowhere; back to Earth. He would soon be done with that damned world anyway; as soon as he found Kakarot, as soon as he killed the source of his crumbling sanity, the source of his only fear, the source of his worry and anxiety, he would be free.

He would be free to hunt down Paragus, to kill his patriarch and avenge the sins of the father against his only son.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Post by Sigea 7/19/2012, 7:57 pm

His pain, grueling. Sigea knew full well what was his anguish was. He needed to quell this pain as it plagued him through his life. He could fell her around him. Her sickening smile. It made the air so repugnant that he wanted to hurl at any moment. Her devilish look; bearing nothing but deceit and hate for all even her own bretheren. Her poise, disgusting in that she plotted against those that raised her, cared for her and overall nurtured her. His sister Amora was just that.

His terror. The power she wielded was overwhelming. It forbade all fabric of reality as it stained his mind. His body quivered whenever he thought about it. He was banished from his homeland after witnessing the death of his own parents at her hands, that bitch. Gut-wrenching and terrorizing as it was he needed to overcome it. That’s why he was here. This accursed jewel that frost had given him. He did not know what purpose he gave it to him as he promised power within the crystal but… maybe he started to understand.

The Icer watched on as proof of an indescribable power rose from the ashes. A green phoenix it seem to be the rebirth of power incarnate. Raw… intimidating and ground breaking it seemed as rocks and debris flew around and collided with the ground below them. His eyes slowly drifted to around his form. He was of course taller than him. The perpetual decline scale that his kind suffered was expected when meeting friend or foe. Long black hair, a softened face only to be mistaken probably. The look of solidarity was all over this guy except for one thing; his power.

It was truly amazing as it seemed to not burn the sky but actually manipulate it. Color seemed to be void in his direct area where the emerald fusion of energies constantly raged. It was unlike a fire as most but a bubbling sphere of resonating color, almost like a beacon flashing and getting brighter by the second. He knew not manner of being this was. Human possibly but he never had seen a Human his height before. Then it happened. The almighty declaration of war.

A ball of not crackling but pulsing energy left this hand. It was small, green like his energy and floated from his hand only to pick up speed. Sigea watched the ball of energy fly towards him. He was full aware of this man’s presence and who could not be. His power was over-bearing. He had felt non like this before since his sister, Amora and maybe Frost too. He wanted to be like these three. Not in a sense of fandom but in the way of life. A skill that comes to not many warriors in life. Out of cultures one is seemingly born every so often to tip the scale of power. Sigea scratched his way to strive for that status and he had come quite far indeed; just not to their level yet.

His body moved on his own without realizing. Soon the energy ball had floated past him at a speed that picked up per moment. It made its way to the background where it collided with a small rock formation where it destroyed the puny force of nature with a shocking impulsion. Sigea looked back at this man and lowered his state of tension. In his pit of rage he had to not callously attack this enemy or it would spell demise. He would try and resolve this force of strength with a simple gesture; not equal to the one sent to him but acceptable. It would be the acceptance of combat between two who utter not words but power. They would surely let their strength do the talking.

Extending his right arm out, Sigea eyes narrowed as a purple beam of energy came out of his hands. It was mediocre at best and was aimed at the vicinity of the man. He knew this would do next to nothing to him, but he realized it was just a signal. It showed the one before him that he would not yield just because he showed up radiating natural power. The kind of power you don’t see quite too often. This could very well have been the other scream he heard earlier when he first arrived in this realm. This crystal… astral as they called it seemed to have the ability to draw fighters together that had similarities. It drawn them together to test their might in a way.

With no other delays it would start. He placed his arms at his side and rose them only to cup his right hand, which arm was bent and sticking out the farthest. His left hand was balled up and even among his chest line, closer to his flesh. He would enter this combat ready stance. He needed to realize what this man’s strengths and weaknesses were quick. If he did not he would surely be caught in a pickle as some would say. Thus stance was for assaulting and he learned it amongst his time after he escaped him. He studied a form of combat that others might not find acceptable but he cultivated it to meet his own ends.
His eyes narrowed as he watched the aura of the man before him flutter vibrantly. The wind came in for a moment but seemed to be blocked. The collective energy of Sigea and this man before him seemed to put a stop sign in the air and not even air itself could enter this domain to bring a brief breeze.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Post by Broly 7/31/2012, 10:47 am

Broly's blast went flying by the changeling's body, crashing into some distant land formation and exploding in a brilliant flash of emerald light. His brow furrowed in frustration as he watched the rocks that weren't out right shattered crumble and fall, slowly moving their way toward the ground. Everything about this place seemed sluggish in comparison to the speeds at which he, and apparently this new warrior, carried themselves.

He watched as the warrior's hand extended, releasing a purple colored beam in his general direction. The attack was clearly meant as a probe more than anything else, designed to test and gauge Broly's true abilities. Had it been the best he could muster, it would have been more insulting than anything else. However, something within him told him that this creature was simply testing the waters; call it faith, call it optimism, Broly called it his luck.

He would not be matched against an opponent who could not, at the very least, entertain him. The entire reason he had acquired this crystal in the first place was to be drawn to those with some semblance of power, apparently across the stars, no matter the distance. As the blast came closer and closer to his chest, his eyes narrowing in response, Broly wondered whether or not he would have his hopes fulfilled.

His energy solidified around his figure, forming a dense sphere of green light, which seemed ready to protect him against any type of danger. He was always prepared for an opponent's retaliatiatory shot, blast, wave, beam or ball; it mattered not what form it came in, only that it came. He would have hated to encounter an enemy so boring that they never responded. Already this one was proving interesting in the respect that he had managed to evade Broly's opening attack, his Blaster Shell.

However, few survived very long after that. His Blaster Shell was an attack that usually signified an end to his festivities, one that often brought about the end of his opposition. He would give this man, this creature, a show in response for his effort.

The blast made contact with his aura before anything else, dissipating into a thin, purple vapor as it continued forward into nonexistence. Broly's brows seemed to shake and dance as the energy vanished, consumed by the superior flare that was his own energy. This creature's power had taken a fair amount of effort to disperse, at the least. Perhaps he would provide interesting sport yet; perhaps he would offer the Saiyan a moment of joy before he awoke from what was usually a jumbled mass of nightmares and hell scapes.

”Not bad; I think I was firing off blasts like that when I was an infant!”, he shouted out toward this being. Though it had taken him a little bit of effort to disperse the blast, he was still no Sairai. Sairai was perhaps the only creature alive in the Galaxy who could challenge his dominance anymore, the only creature alive who could offer him a mixed and always interesting experience; the only creature who could even somewhat relate to him.

Sairai had forged his own destiny, escaped what had seemed like a one track fate; Broly however, was yet to achieve this. Despite the fact that he remained more powerful, more dangerous than the Changeling, he was still bound by fate's cruel chains.

A smirk slowly gracing the warrior's features, Broly brought himself upward once more, soaring toward his opponent with spirit in excess. Energy flew freely from his body, still surrounding him in an emerald shroud. However, it's nature appeared to have changed again; whereas it had originally been a solid, almost separate entity, it now spread back into the almost-organic fire that had encompassed his body before.

His right hand cocked at his waist as he approached, streams of light flocking to his closing fingertips. He already knew the combination he would open with; he knew the series of strikes he would unleash upon his opponent, this new arrival. Perhaps it was because he was dreaming, perhaps it was because his fate was right before him, or perhaps it was because he often favored his right hand. Few knew the way Broly's mind worked. Hell, the man himself didn't comprehend the inner workings of his mind, how would others?

As he entered melee range, he unleashed a ferocious flurry of blows with his right hand, each one targeting a separate area of the creature's upperbody, each one seeking to injure. Broly did not strike to please, after all. He struck to deal damage, to cripple, to test and to probe. If the thing had probed him with a blast, he would probe it in hand to hand combat; if he was lucky, or perhaps unlucky, he would feel the reply of armored flesh beneath his knuckles.

Most would have been intimidated by the creature's superior height, or perhaps his natural body armor. Broly however knew the truth; this creature was weaker than he was. He would not allow this being to intimidate him in any way when he knew the truth behind it's power, the extent of it's might. Then again, even if it were more powerful than he was, would he really come to fear it? Something within him doubted it.

Broly did not know fear, as a principle or as an emotion; he had never experienced the sensation anywhere within himself.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Post by Sigea 8/3/2012, 1:01 am

Was it… did it just get absorbed...

The words that rang through Sigea head made the Icer crouch down. His tail went from left to right; similar to a dog but not quite. It was not excitement for the lust of battle. Oh no, this Icer was not excited to meet this foe. This burly man with a slender yet defined build had something about him. The air around him stunk of rage. His actions, his clothes; hell even his energy wreaked with ferocity. His eyes zoomed in on the locale of this being. Jet black hair, shirtless, white pants and accessories of gold layered his boots and armlets.

His anger reached a new height as his power writhed because of it. His energy grew around him as a protective shell but that was not it. His energy was so radical that it literally burned anything next to him, including the Icer’s own Kinetic attack. This was one not to trifle with. If Sigea was going to end this, he needed to take the offensive… and that’s when it was too late. He was planning and too much in thought that he had met the large man without a proper defense. IN a flash the man had powered up and dashed forward with his energy behind him like a jet flying through wind space at one of the fabled Mach levels.

He didn’t even pay enough attention to hear the words of the humanoid giant. He mocked his energy blast like it was a plaything of a child. The giant continued his movement and was in the face of Sigea. His movement ended with a circus of blows. A slamming fist connected with the top of his skull and Sigea’s eyes bugged out, with red lines coming to his eyes. He looked up as the giant spun to deliver an uppercut which lifted the Icer upwards, knocking a bit of blood from him. Tis continued as an episode of maul. A T.V. show produced by Broly and headed straight towards Sigea’s inner body, damaging his core a great deal. The last blow knocked Sigea back and down.

The force of the descent was great. It wasn’t the blow that was so great, but the force of wind that broke away around his body. As he fell, pressure built up like a meteor crashing into the planets surface. It was difficult to deal with as Sigea struggled with the force. Eventually he regained control and stopped his body from colliding with the ground, an inch above it. He looked up with his eyes blood shot, and blood coming out of his nose. He had never been assaulted like that before. This wasn’t something he could do was it?

Sigea stood up slowly and his chest was red, even with his skin tone. He noticed the beast above him react from his own volley in rage. He was not angry at the site of the Icer but at something else. He could not fathom the depths of his power; he knew he was being toyed with and at his current level he was nothing more than just a rag doll to this behemoth in size and power. Sigea looked up to the man and gritted his teeth. His aura came out around him in a vibrant red. It started out as just lines that seemed to radiate from his entire from like that of sound waves in the air, only visible.

A yell came from the Icer as veins grew around his arms, legs and one large one over his right eye. His Aura continued to dance as the waves of energy began to radiate quicker and faster as his power had reached a destined state; maximum power. He then continued to push his power to further heights as he leaned back with his horns pointing at the ground. His body began to grow a separate aura from it’s initial one, fire came around his shoulders In a red hue. It was light and traveled along the waves of energy that were blue. His yell continued as he looked up to the man and rose a hand. He could not use both arms so his patent move could not be used; Cosmic Cannon It would have to be. He rose a hand and the energy surrounded him went to thaty of his hand. The blue waves of energy turned into a black cloud of energy radiating about while the fire turned into bolts of energy in the midst of the cloud in his hand. He launched the blast forward by extending his right arm forward in the air towards the beast. A wave of black energy flew upwards surrounded by red electricity. It was a desperation move; one that wasn’t properly focused yet rashly executed. It was a rebuttal from a being who was at death’s door. He knew not what his beam could do but he knew the result; a swift defeat.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

Post by Broly 8/14/2012, 6:23 pm

Broly’s eyes narrowed as the creature was struck toward the ground, his body crashing like a drumstick upon a weak cymbal. Whatever it had been hoping for had clearly never come; Broly’s strength and speed had managed to confuse it long enough for it’s body to smash into the ground, after all. Still, the lack of defense it had put up was a little disappointing. He had hoped for a more stalwart defender type of battle. He loved overwhelming those who prided themselves on their defensive skill.

It was probably the most satisfying type of battle to win. Crushing an opponent’s defense and pounding them until they cried your name and begged for mercy. Then again, victory itself was intoxicating. Once you had won, it was like tasting some kind of unquittable drug. You could not get enough satisfaction; never could you truly quench your fix. For a Saiyan, especially one of Broly’s strength, this was especially true. He so rarely found an opponent worthy of his time.

His body lowered through the air, slowly descending to the ground as his opponent’s true strength seemed to reveal itself. He was hoping for some kind of come back blast, as it seemed. Or was this merely the cry of the damned, so reminiscent of a stubborn infant in the dark and untrusted night? Was he trying to light the sky, and reveal the apparition that had come in the form of such a dark and malevolent force as Broly?

Broly’s left hand raised, energy swirling around it as a blood red light surrounded his opponent. He was going to let this thing have it’s dying breath if it wanted it. Who was he to deny the wishes of the helpless? No traces of a grin existed on the Saiyan’s lips, as his palm relaxed. He was going to make this interesting. The energy swirling around his hand slowly condensed into his fingertips, forcing them to glow with an erie emerald light.

Sigea’s energy exploded toward him, blackened energy ripping it’s way across the ground with little effort. Broly could see the dirt being sent flying, the rock crumbling and breaking as his opponent’s ki came flying directly toward him. The energy from Broly’s aura slowly filtered into the area around his hand while the blast ripped through the air, nearing him at speeds rivaling his pursuit mere seconds ago. Was this the creature’s true power?

If so, this was going to be an interesting effort. If he had only displayed this power from the get go, he may have stood a chance against the brutish behemoth; unfortunately, this appeared to be a one time deal. Especially since he was using it as what appeared to be his final attack. Releasing a steadying breath from the center of his chest, the Saiyan extended his arm fully, fingers bracing themselves for catching the blast.

It slammed into his defense with all the force of a freight train. The Saiyan’s feet were forced backwards along the ground, kicking up a sky’s worth of dust and dirt in his wake as the original impact was made. Still, he applied only the force of his ki and finger tips. If he applied any more, he could probably have straight out deflected it. However, this method made things far more interesting for him. It would allow him to test out his control while getting a workout.

While the energy clashed, Broly’s fingers slowly bent inward, reducing the size of the dangerous wave inch by inch, as he struggled to remove it from existence. For several seconds, he struggled; energy slowly filtering in and out of his fingers as the blast was erased, the energy dispersing into the air around him, filling it with straight heat. There was no humidity to lessen the intensity, nor was there a chance that it would simply disappear. He could feel his hand going numb, from the oxygen being removed from the air.

However, just as it seemed he would be forced to utilize his other hand, the blast melted away before him, energy destabilized by the force of Broly’s defense. For a moment, time seemed to stand still; then Broly’s breath came in the form of a disgruntled huff. His eyes flocked to his hand, examining the newly blackened limb for several seconds before turning his gaze back to the creature who had supplied him with the energy blast he had just contended with.

”Not bad, creature. You actually managed to burn my hand. That’s something I couldn’t do as an infant. Congratulations, you’ve bought yourself a ticket for survival... for now, anyway.”

He was, shockingly, telling a majority of the truth. While he did intend to kill everyone in existence, this creature had certainly bought himself temporary survival. The bead of sweat breaking it’s way down his brow was enough for him. The difficulty presented suggested that this creature would continue to grow stronger. It was already more than a match for the majority of his...associates. He was stronger than the boy, though weaker than the insect.

He could not tell by how much, though. It was not as if Cell had an actual ki signature for him to judge his energy by. He had to go by how hard he hit, how fast he was. This thing had not yet been able to contend with him, but he would probably put up a better fight than the others. Perhaps his potential was enough to earn him a second visit from the monstrous force that was the manifestation of chaos and destruction itself. Perhaps he had earned a second visit from Broly.

As the Saiyan straightened, his back previously arched from the force required to nullify his opponent’s blast, the corners of his mouth rose into what appeared to be a demon’s grin.

”Keep your schedule open, Changeling. Someone will be with you shortly... provided you tell me where the fuck we’re at.”

He knew he only had a few seconds before he awoke and returned to Earth. His opponent had relinquished most of his energy, and Broly could feel his body struggling to remain in the Astral Plane. The shock of physical pain was trying to wake him from this dream; to tear him from the planet he now found himself inhabiting.

En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral) Empty Re: En Garde (Broly & Sigea) (Astral)

“Beh”…

Was it a word that came from Sigea’s mouth? No it was part of a word. He was in such awe that for the first time he could not make out a word. The phrase he meant to bark out was Behemoth, and that truly what this thing was. Far be it greater than any adversary he faced, save for his sister. This thing that looked like normal flesh and weakness was vastly superior in every way to the Icer in every way possible and imaginable.

The blast he fired was one of his few attacks he let others see. This thing before him blocked it with one hand and only came out with slight burns from the cosmic cannon. Where others would no doubt be engulfed by the dark swirling wave, this thing held his ground and fought off the tremendous force. This was in no way Sigea’s strongest attack but it was better than impressive at the feat of strength this enemy showed.

The changeling looked down at his shadow as the immediate area around them began to lack oxygen as Sigea took a swallow of pride. He could launch another attack but what would be the point. He activated the fire deep within his corporeal flesh to strength that attack to the most possible power he could wield and it did nothing but char the behemoths fingers? It would be foolish to try and attack this enemy again as nothing Sigea could think to muster would have a chance against this black haired man.

Insults came towards Sigea as he looked over his shadow. His form was just a crouched slumped over form. His stature looked as if he had no pride. His shoulders dropped far beyond their normal level to show a sense of deprave courage. His head hung downward so he was forced to face his self, his shadow. Was this his true self? A cowering individual to not even look death in the eyes. He guessed so as he closed his eyes.

Moments passed before the wait of death. It was supposed to be serene, welcomed and eventful. Yet these three distinctions were not in the air. There was no serenity, welcoming or events happening. Well there was one, the sound of the behemoths mouth as he barked out insult after insult. Death was not coming as the last part of the monsters words were that Sigea had bought himself a ticket for survival. He had met face to face with a demon of power but had survived? Was it due to fate or the power he wielded? Sigea did not know as he came to his feet to look the man in his eyes.

He was next told to keep his schedule open as a visitor would be coming to him. It was here at this moment that Sigea felt it hard to maintain awake. He had used this Astral Crystal once before but it acted a different way. This worked off his actual energy preserves his body or his mind had and they were running low. It was kind of like a dream that he would wake up from if too much stress to the mind was produced.

He came back to the words of the man before him and noticed two things. He was right; halfway that is. He nor Sigea knew where they were at and he wished to know where Sigea was currently at outside of this dreamscape. Sigea did not know the place as everything looked just like a plain that could exist on any planet, realm or galaxy. The other thing was that he called Sigea a changeling. This aspect still alluded him, even in sleep. The shell of ignorance that in corporately controlled the understanding of every being in the galaxies combined could not prepare him for this. He knew others would call him this yet it infuriated him to the point where it pissed him off. Correcting or destroying were the latter he used but in this case he could not destroy but he very well would correct.

“As far as where we are, I do not know. What I do know is that some sort of accessory takes fighters to another reality; a dream world. WE exist in two separate places at once to experience the most natural desires of our psyche; battle. I reside on planet Namek. My name is Sigea. I do not wish to know your name monster. I only offer you this advice. Before you speak to any other worldly being, think quickly and rationally before sewing about what they are. I am no such trash as a changeling. I am of another race. I am an Icer, one of which who shared dimensions and planets with Changelings for years.”

Sigea stood up as he felt it coming. He had tod this man his name and location. As for means of finding him they would have to resort to it another way, if they could fathom it. SIgea’s existence was fading as he seized up the large man once more before fading out into nothingness.
“A visitor would be visiting me soon?”

Sigea eyes opened. He was in the meditative state again as he looked down and around at his body. He was not hurt or injured in the slightest of ways. He did not remember falling off from reality and entering a dreamlike state but apparently he did. He did remember one thing; the face of monstrosity. The grin on the face of the behemoth whom he introduced himself. He was so immersed in the thought of taking down his sister he had not run into others who were not only stronger than him, but eternally more powerful than him. He had to grasp this concept and respond the right way. What was the right response to meeting this behemoth?

Of course there was only one answer. That answer was to simply just become stronger. Sigea stood as a siren went through Lamp’s house. It must have been from the Lin Kuei, and Sigea responded to the summons.
