Lin Kuei Missive #5 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #5

Post by Sigea 8/21/2012, 7:54 pm

“He came and left all in the span of half a day.” Lamp said as her and Sigea were moving towards the Lin Kuei base. They were dashing through a rough grassland. They were currently approaching a patch of the area where the grass was very large, reach more than 12 feet in height; and since the two were about the range of four feet, this was quite the terrain to traverse. “What’s worse is that he did not keep up with his end of the bargain. He was supposed to teach you that technique of his…”

Sigea looked around as the two of them entered the thick patch. As they moved in high speeds, their bodies began to blur in a radial fashion as they made it their business to beat the other to the other side. They were travelling together but nothing was wrong with a little friendly competition. Sigea had reached the outside first by five seconds ahead of Lamp like usual but something happened different this time. On the outside there was a shrouded figure that grabbed hold of Sigea from the side. They locked their arms around his small frame and when Lamp came out Sigea and the mystery guy were gone. She had assumed that she had won as she looked around.

|Meanwhile Somewhere else|

Sigea opened his eyes and fell forward to his knees. He looked behind him to see the cloaked figure standing before him. This figure was taller than he was but in a fit of rage from the action of taking him Sigea would lash out. He turned and leapt towards the cloaked figure who simply dodged in a flash. Sigea stopped as his right arm was out, fully extended and his eyes were bugged out. Did he just miss the attack? Sigea shook his head. He stood up straight and turned to attack the man again moving his body faster. The blow touched the cloak but not the skin of the main. He did this over and over again until reaching the final conclusion; this foe was faster than him. He had not met one that was faster than him since forever. He used his nimble body, smaller frame to maximize the movement he could achieve at maximum velocity but it wasn’t enough still. His eyes moved downward and in an instant the cloaked figure was in front of him.

“What’s the matter?” Sigea looked to meet the man in the face with his red eyes but his image appeared behind him now. Sigea’s tail began to move as he slammed it down behind him to attack the man again but in an instant the man appeared in another spot. “Don’t think…” His footing was shifting in distances all around Sigea each moment. His words were like echoes as his speed was truly remarkable. “That you can truly reach me… with such an inadequate body like that.” Sigea opens his mouth finally as he was starting to get pissed.

“You take me to some place that I don’t know and then you ridicule me stranger. What is it you want besides my anger?” Sigea scoffs as he stands straight and places his arms behind his back. He was watching the speed of the man as he zipped around Sigea rapidly. They both knew Sigea wanted to strike but couldn’t. Sigea however, would use this talking as a means of distracting. His ‘jumps’ from place to place actually made him shorter than what he actually was. “What I want? Isn’t it what you want?” It was here and now that sigea read his pattern. He wasn’t randomly appearing, It was a pattern he was following as Sigea rushed forward and sent an elbow strike.

The blow came hard and quick; just not quick enough as nothing was there again. “You wish to understand why you cannot hit me? You wish to know who I am and why I have brought you here? The answer is deep within yourself Icer.” The cloaked figure disappeared again as Sigea spat at the ground to his right. It just hit him hat this being knew the difference between a Changeling and Icer. He noticed his questions as the cloaked figure was now airborne and floating in place. “To realize the answer to all of these questions you must reach out to the truth. The truth of what you want, who you are and what you will become.” Sigea mouth formed a bow as his teeth were showing and he was pissed. “All these damn riddles. Just tell me what the hell is this truth you speak of…” Sigea barked. This speech was right before a blow to the back of Sigea’s neck was felt.

He had an eye on the figure before him so it could not have been him. His consciousness was fading as he slowly fell towards the ground. He saw several figures behind him that appeared from nowhere. This being before him had others like him and was no doubt the leader of this small brigade. ground and knelt in his face. “Paint pictures with my words so that you can close your eyes and imagine that which you find. Reach out to the truth…” The being said as Sigea completely passed out. The cloaked figures around him nodded towards the head in charge. One person hoisted Sigea’s body up and took him off. The cloaked figures followed as thy looked over the Icer who was sleep. “Was this the right thing to do?” One member said as the head spoke in rebuttal to his question. “The leader said he could handle it, so we must put him through the series of tests just like any other.”

The group made their way to a cavern that was lit on the inside, dimly. Thy headed deeper into the cave and descended to a shaft-like stairway that circled downwards. Upon reaching the bottom of this shaft, they sat the Icer down. Around his body is what seemed to be a hieroglyph of some runic arte. Three cloaked figures sat in a triangular fashion around his form separated from him and each other by 30 feet a piece. The others stood up on the staircase watching as the commander in cloak surveyed Sigea from very close. He wanted to see what his leader saw in this diabolical creature. He only saw rage where his leader saw light. He needed to confirm that this test would not be something that would crush the spirit of Sigea.

Lin Kuei Missive #5 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #5

Post by Sigea 8/22/2012, 5:10 pm

Sigea woke up later on. He had no idea how much time had passed since the last events before he was knocked out from behind. He shook his head as he stood up. Around him there was all white on all sides. No color except the type on his own body and cloth. He took a few steps and felt nothing above, around or beneath him. He tested out all of his limbs to see if everything was ok and it was. He took off at a dash in a straight line. His speed was moderate at best as he did not want to waste any energy. After running for a mile he realized nothing changed. He stopped and placed his hands on his hips as he looked around. He thought about things as he stood still.

He was brought to a foreign place by the way of speed. He met an individual who was faster than him. He was knocked out from behind and told to face the truth about himself. He snapped a light bulb with that last thought. He sat down in a traditional meditative state and slowly calmed his mind. After ten minutes of sitting still he entered a Zen state where all he thought about could clearly become visible in his head. He went on to think about the truth.

As he thought about himself he went over his life from the most earliest moments to present. It would have to be about 60 years, by human terminology. He remembered the earliest convenience in his life. Being trained by his mother, Shelly. She was a beautiful dark entity, one that spoke of superiority and kindness. He went on to think about his father Hyde. He indirectly was involved with Sigea. He left care of him to his wife and worried about their daughter, Amora.

It was that name. It was that name that triggered what he was supposed to be here for. He opened his eyes as he felt things around him changing. The white began to shift and mold into an area he was familiar with. He turned around to see ground being made, a sky being born and a world enveloping while he merely stood in place. He was taking a trip back in time where he was training with his mom Shelly. Sigea blinked and took a few steps. Something was itching in his skin for him to turn around and so he did. Upon turning he placed an arm up to black an attack from a cloaked figure.

The blow was a powerful one. It was one he could block but not stop the momentum. The cloaked figure rushed forward as their ki enveloped their entire form. The color of the ki was orange. It had energy sparkles surrounding the ki and this was like a trip back to the past. He was pushed back several feet until two miles were reached and Sigea used his own strength to back the foe off of him. The landed and he noticed eyes, bright red, much like his own. Actually they were lighter than his own eyes being Magenta in color. Magenta eyes and a Orangish aura with light sparks of energy crackling around it. It was familiar to him but he could not place it on who it belonged to that he knew and how could they be here, wherever here was.

He would not ask a question on who it was. Since they thought to attack without asking or announcing themselves he would retaliate the same way to find the answer to his qualms. He rushed forward as his feet did not touch the ground but a low air glide forward, an inch off the ground. As he reach the cloaked figure with bright eyes he sent an elbow which was met by a parallel elbow form the figure. He looked down and saw dark skin that matched his own. The armor around the wrist was white with a blue jewel like core and this made him look at his own wrist. This person was about his size as he thought who this could be. Nobody had the same shade of skin and natural plating like he did.

Sigea pulled back only to send a thrust with his left hand with was swatted away with a hand with long nails, much like his own. Was this himself? With a different color aura? It could not be. No way he could exist as a separate entity. The eyes were different so it was not him but someone else, very similar to him. Sigea and the cloaked figure began to brawl as their forms began to grow energy around them, meshing together creating a red-orange light show. Blows could be heard that seemed to knock sound waves from their direct location as things were silent a few moments after the blows were exchanged. The two landed away from one another as Sigea stepped forward. The figure placed a finger forward and with a slight blink of their eyes a beam of energy was fired from this foe’s index finger. Sigea reacted quickly as he retaliated with a beam of energy from his own index finger.

The small lasers were thin yet powerful and fast. They reached each other and collided fighting each other, fighting for dominance over one another. One was red, belonging to Sigea and the other was orangeish belonging to his foe. Sigea finger remained straight as he continually pumped out energy through his laser beam that was at some point known as the Death Beam. He never learned the name of it, just the stance and the know how.

“You can actually use the death beam. You have improved much…”

The voice was light, stark and feminine. Sigea eyes bugged out as both beams of energy impacted and exploded with a light show of dispersing waves of power of orange and red. The top part of the cloake was ripped off as the person was revealed as Sigea’s Mom, Shelly.

“My child you have grown….”

Lin Kuei Missive #5 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #5

Post by Sigea 8/22/2012, 8:51 pm

“No…”

The word came from Sigea’s mouth as the thread was completely torn off. It was revealed to be his deceased mother, Shelly. The only person to have Magenta eyes of the Icer race, reason his eyes were red. His aura is red partially because of her. The skin color, the jewel hybrid armor, the pale horns and orange aura. Everything was as if she had never died. What was going on? SIgea blinked as his mom was starting to walk towards him. Had she had not aged? “Wait..” Sigea shook his head as his mom made a sly look and raised a hand to her mouth to cover it while she laughed. It was sinister in all ways.

“What is wrong my son?” Shelly said as She had gained some ground nand was now a few feet from Sigea. “You don’t miss your mom?” Sigea jumped back as the person standing in front of him was his mom but he would not believe it. He saw her die. His sister… her child had murdered her in cold blood. The blood of the Protection clan Of Icers was on Amora’s hands and he did not; could not believe here his mother was alive and well, and the same way as he remembered her.

The more she came closer and closer, the more Sigea created distance. He was fighting her? His mom? Shell/ She was a person he could never beat. He had always been outdone by his mom. She was too fast for him to be able to deal with. Her actions were nimble and her kinetic force was so minimal that it could not be seen. Just thoughts of the past made the Icer break out in a cold sweat. “Fine Sigea… if you don’t want to bring it here to mama, I’m bringing the love to you!” And with that it started… a battle with his mom.

Sigea turned his back and saw a ledge and jumped up it as there were other little ledges going upwards. He made his way from landing to landing as he reached the top only to see his mother laying on the ground stretched out. Sigea took a stepp back as he was at the ledge and slipped backwards as a gasp come from his lips. A hand reached out to him and pulled him up, it was slender… small and belonged to his mom. He looked at her Magenta eyes as they lowered and Sigea had feelings well up. He hadn’t had these come for quite some time. They were feelings for a time when he was a happy child, missing his mother. He was a small Icer at that time when she was killed by his sister, seeing her was something that he wanted to bring about. Her face, her smile…. Even her attacks as a blast of energy sent Sigea hurling through the air.

Sigea was all smiles. He twirled out of the launching blast and landed on his feet in a knelt position. He looked up as the sash on the side of his Gi was now shredded. He ripped it off and tossed it to the side. He had prepared himself. His mother slowly floated down and exhaled loudly, in a disappointed tone. “Sigea… my child. I am very disappointed. By my recollection you should be53 years old. And all that has happened is that you rink of such fear and weakness. Your blocks aren’t to protect your way, they are to save your hide from being scorched. When you dodge, you aren’t setting up for a counter strike you are just running into your fear, and when you strike… your blows and blasts of energy are full of regret and frightful experiences…. Is this how you want your father to see you?”

Sigea eyes was closed as he listened to the words of his mother. He had heard these before. He opened his mouth and at the same time she said, he uttered the exact same phrase, mirroring his mother perfectly. “An Icer does not fret. We aren’t like the cold.. we are the Cold. NOW STAND AND FREEZE YOUR FRAME INTO THE MIND OF YOUR ENEMIES!” It wasn’t a simple mimicry but an oath. It was one she told him many times as he was young. It was here that his eyes opened and his aura erupted around him completely. It was a fiery red that encompassed his form with crackling bolts of energy. He was not yelling but calmly increasing his power little by little. “Yes my son… there you are…”

Shelly raised her right hand and at the same time Sigea did the same. “I taught you this stance quite a while ago. It is hailed as a marquee of our clan and the Changeling clan put into one. You place your middle fingers and thumb like so… then you power to death beams, one in the Index and another in the Pinky finger. They collide and erupt causing what is known to our kind as the Death Wave, releasing a powerful blast forth welcoming those to death… they will just be knocking at Death’s Door Sigea…”

Two death beams were charged at the tip of both of their index and pinky fingers. One energy was orange while the other was red. Sigea and his mom shelly had initiated a Death Contract; a bond between those of planet Frieza to maintain a bond through life and even after death. They beams collided and Sigea’s suddenly more powerful than his mothers. The beams clashed for a moment until the visage of Sigea’s mom was engulfed and sent back to the depths of damnation from whence she came. Sigea stood there as the smoke cleared and did not a word come from his mouth as his mom had instilled one last lesson unto him. It was a technique along with a lesson of morality that filled up the blood of Sigea with a cold respite.

The dust settled and the clothes of Sigea’s mom were blown away back to where she had originally come from; his mind. The recent emergence of his mother was all part of Reaching out there and Facing the truth about his own self. A tear came down his right eye. He was 53 years by human standards but young by Icer terms. He could not help but feel a lonesome longing for his mother. The memories no longer filled him with malice and regret. No; they raised power to well deep within from when there was none.

He lowered his arm but kept his hand and fingers in the same position. He placed his arm towards the air signaling for a symbol between his family’s trademark and sign of farewell.

The Death Wave.

Lin Kuei Missive #5 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #5

Post by Sigea 8/26/2012, 4:06 pm

As the last signal for his mother had been displayed; the atmosphere around him began to crumble. The ground, sky, and everything in between began to break under the fabrication of this dream. “What the fuck are you doing just standing there? You trying to die or something. Get the hell out of there!” a voice came into his head. Sigea had no time to look around as he began to move through the fields. After each step he made the voice continued to talk and guide him to where they were at. Through a grassland, a ravine into a mountainside area; a cavern specifically.

As Sigea entered the cave there was a hand sticking out; grabbing it Sigea was pulled in and save from the rumbling outside and breaking down of reality. He thought he was awake but apparently he wasn’t since the ground and sky just don’t break away like that. As the arm pulled him in he looked up and his eyes and mouth hung in suspension. It could not be. It should not be…. What the hell was going on?

Wherever Sigea was, He saw something which made the Icer yell and on the outside of his mind; outside of his body; Sigea was falling too far into the recesses of his memory. The one who brought him there watched as the team of assistants he had started to report that it was becoming too big a rush on his mind. The cloaked man stepped forward and placed a hand on Sigea’s chest. A energy wave began to radiate over his form, it was more of a pulse than a wave as it gave a soothing feeling. This was a technique that a lot of Namekians used; it was called heal.

“Your ok. Just slowly breath and take your time. Come back to reality Sigea… what your seeing is not real…”

The words crept up as Sigea sat up and looked around himself. He bagged back a few feet on his backside and looked around. His skin was in a cold sweat as he saw the people standing around him wearing cloaks like the man that brought him there. “Reelax…” Sigea was breathing heavily as he saw the man who brought him there. He made him see his mother… and.. “You have appeared again. I had time to think about what’s really going on here. “

The cloaked brigade looked at Sigea and the main one questioned him. “I know why your supposedly faster than me. It’s teleportation, not speed…” The cloacked man gave a chuckle and stood up. Sigea stood up dusting off his blue gi and shaking his head a bit. He had just left a dream state and was still feeling woozy. “explain your reasoning in saying I’m not faster but just teleporting around you…” Sigea Rushed forward and sent a punched towards the back of the man’s head. Of course he did not hit nothing as the man appeared from behind him.

“It was there. When you moved you didn’t move in high combat speed. You vanished from thin air and appeared somehow through some sort of technique. A person that moves fast like me has a motion they go through. The starting motion will never be the same as the ending motion as soon as I slow my body down from high speeds. You… you on the other hand appear in the same position that you left in, which is impossible seeing as employ the agility of my body in my combat style. Plus your movement is a pattern, it’s not anywhere you want to whenever you want to. I noticed that as you ported around me multiple times earlier. It’s not seed but some sort of technique…”

“I can feel there is something more you have to say Icer. Go ahead.”

Sigea looked around himself at all the cloaked figures and counted. There were 15 plus the main guy he was talking to. Some ahd different colors. They must have been for different roles. Some might be for kinetic energy, physical strength, overall knowledge and then there were those like the man in front of him; commander over the lot. This had to be similar to how other races and cultures had armies… ths was a platoon. He stepped forward and placed his hands behind his back. “This is the second time I’ve seen this technique. It was some months ago that I met an individual who could use technique similar but it was much slower. This creature or Xeno placed his fingers on his forehead and move around; you do not share that small action but the technique itself is very much the same. Im sure that Xeno taught you the technique and that you all belong to his race and that this…. Where I am is his home world…”

Lin Kuei Missive #5 Empty Re: Lin Kuei Missive #5

Post by Sigea 8/28/2012, 9:23 pm

Laughter ensued.

Sigea face got a disgruntled look as the man before him laughed. It had been too long since someone that was an outsider had seen their actions once and perceived straight through them. Fact of the matter is that sigea was completely right. He hit the nail on the head accurately as they are by no means faster them him just have a technique they can use infinitely because their bodies are in tune with using the technique to such an advanced degree. They were members of the Xeno race and that the one who sent them to grab Sigea was in fat the same Xeno teen that he and the Lin Kuei helped out on Namek.

Myst was his name and he had promised to reward the Icer for helping him find his way back to his people. That was half a year ago and now Sigea stood before representatives of the same Xeno. “Would you like us to take you to Myst now?” Sigea nodded. He was tired of all the theatrics and wanted to get right down to figuring out things. As he began to walk with the group he paused and spoke once more. “This changes nothing however. You attacked me… made a mockery of me and forced me to endure some silly trial. You lucky I don’t contact my Headquarters and let them now. Im sure my Headmaster is livid at this point since my disa0ppearance. Im sure you would not want thousands of Ninja storming your planet where this beacon is currently located at.” The man looked confused as Sigea pointed to his wrist. “If for any reason you disassociate yourself with the Lin Kuei, a tracking beacon is planted on your body, be it skin, hair or clothes. Even I don’t know where it’s located at exactly….”

The Xno turned and began to escort Sigea as he coughed a bit. He was not prepared to deal with such a statement and think his race would not be ready for an assault of that kind, especially from intergalactic ninja’s.

|Time passes|

Sigea is in a large citadel. He is brought to a large room with wooden floors and a weak-looking foundation. Moments later several individuals wearing the same cloaks step in followed by a red skinned alien. Sigea noticed it was Myst, just matured beyond the years that he himself had known him to be. Myst smiled as Sigea faced him. He had grown to be taller than Sigea in just half a year but this did not bother the Icer as he already knew he reached his maximum height for being of his age. “Welcome Sigea.”

Sigea does not nod, smile, extend a hand or anything to accept the greeting and embrace the child. He saw him as nothing more than a traitor. An individual was nothing if their words had no weight to it. Sigea and the Lin Kuei was disappointed in Myst. He had interrupted their home base of operations only to misplace their trust in him. He did not but raise a finger. From this finger began to swirl a blackened energy source. Itw as eratic and had bolts of red energy sparking around it as it rotated, like a marble floating above his index finger.

Myst eyes opened up widely and got up before the Icer. “You wish to know the technique right?” Sigea had lowered his energy levels back down to a normal level as he was listening to the xeno Youngster. He nodded as he continued. “Its where you focus your attention on an energy source. As we all know, not just us people have energy but life itself has its own source of readable energy.” Myst stood up and had a follower of his bring two rocks. He placed them down on opposite ends of the room they were in, I t must have been training grounds; cause it reminded Sigea of a dojo. “Most think it’s jus simply searching for an energy source and just focusing on it. It’s not so simple.”

While the Xeno known as Myst explained he began to act out his words. Showing Sigea a visualization of the said technique. “You focus on the energy source and lose yourself. You pay attention to nothing but the source of energy until in a trance-like state. This is the same as meditating but in a sense it’s the opposite. Instead of focusing solely on clearly nothing, you focus on just one thing. Once you can gain focus of that source of energy, be it an object, a person or even water itself you have done the first part. This is simple, especially to a warrior like yourself. Afterwards you bring about your own energy level into the equation. Now focusing on the object of your desire and yourself is quite the accomplishment as it took me countless days to master that skill alone.”

Myst continued to explain as Sigea sensed something. He noticed the energy of Myst was rising to levels he had not expected. This Xeno, must have been training himself this entire six months non stop, just to master the technique he is teaching. “You then balance your own energy with the energy of your focus and equalize them so they will be in sync…” He looked up at Sigea. Sigea looked on waiting as Myst said nothing. “Than what?” The Icer spoke confused as to why Myst paused.

“You simply just use your energy to travel that pathway in your head and..”
In an instant Myst had travelled through the air and instantly appeared.

“Your there..”

Sigea nodded and took in all the information given unto him by Myst. He wlaked up to Myst and nodded towars him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “For divulging this information to me, I will not kill all your followers. Next time I suggest you hire men that are stronger so they can ward of anybody, if you run into someone like me ever again…” Sigea smirked and closed his eyes. In an instance he was gone and Myst and the others looked around and did not see him.

“While I was explaining he was mastering it. He done what I couldn’t do in several months in just ten minutes…”
