Son of Goku

It wouldn't be very smart to just rush into a confrontation with the Earth's strongest defender, Goku. So Gaza would start off with his son, nothing fatal, god knows that Goku would definitely come after him then. Gaza would rather stay under the radar for a bit. With that being kept in mind, he still wanted a challenge, so the Son of Goku would be a fine starting point if he ever heard of one. Not that the idea of fighting Gohan was not intimidating and all, but Gaza thought he stood a decent chance against him. After all, he was now wielding the Power Pole, a weapon Gohan's father had wielded in the past, given to him by the man after which Gohan was named.

The day was still young, the sun barely being in the center of the sky just yet, and Gaza was sure ready for a good challenge, if Gohan was still game for it. That didn't have a formal agreement, but if Gohan didn't show up, he'd surely try and draw him out if he felt that it would work. Not entirely sure how he'd do that, but he'd figure something if the problem arose.

The morning had started out pretty boring, not exactly the way Gaza would like to start his morning. Nothing like the random encounter that awoke him the day of his trial to earn the Power Pole for good from Grandpa Gohan. That was a day that Gaza played back in his mind recently, being very prideful in this fact. He carried now the Power Pole as his trophy, and he carried it with a smile upon his face. Well, maybe more of a smirk to some, but he was sure that he had earned the right to whatever grin or smirk he wore.

Awaiting Gohan's arrival, Gaza went over techniques in his head, knowing fully well of the battle that lay ahead of him. It was both exciting and scary. Who knows what kind of tricks Gohan had up his sleeve.

His anxiety for sparring had abundantly, increased, it was a completely foreign experience to wish for a battle, obviously; he had always refused the fact he was meant to always battle. But, this is different, it was the primary point where he would admire watching his own wave lick the flesh out of his enemies as they perished. He was not a villain, but he's considerably a villain in comparison with the ones he had hunted prior; as well to the ones he would hunt later. It was an uncommon day, the remaining wastelands had barely any trees that would point this dusty landscape. It was almost clear, that any monkey would understand the fact that this area was in the state of dehydration. Gohan was surely prepared for a challenge, yet many fighters he knew would offer an interesting one, yet; he had faced almost all of them. The rest were, however, countable on the five fingers.

His presence in this area was simply for one reason, sparring. There was no place for any being to suffer the loss of life only because of the disappointing reason for a battle. Every being either humanoid or constructed deserved life, he knew it was sometimes out of hand for a mortal to change a fellow mortal's fate, yet it was depressing that mortals are always able to claim that fate as they please. Gohan switched his attention from the background to his wear, his foolishly brain had just realized his clothes were useless when other warriors would use respectful armors. Regardless, he'd be certain he is not using the nonsense of this piece of leather.

Gohan blinked twice, brows furrowed; he peered his sight at the distant horizon once again. An external energy had surveyed his attention, fairly enough for him to investigate, curious whoever whom that might be. Upon choice of consumption, he lifted from this desperate area, intent on confronting this game before it would flee. His energy grew in it's usual burning formation, dragging it's caster to a portion of his destiny. His aura tore through it's way, confirming reassurance Gohan would get there as soon as possible. Only within a few minutes of flight, a long red haired figure stood in the midsection of a great meadow, the figure strangely held familiar features; he could not have hoped for any better opportunity for this battle.

It is uncommon for him to recognize this stranger as an acquaintance, Gohan cared little for it; a challenge is always a challenge. Gohan hopefully would be mentioned when a being is requesting rescue at their last words before their lives would be claimed, he smirked; fully intent on making it true.

"Hello, mister."

"Hello, mister."

The words seemed so playful, coming from someone so innocent looking, so young. It wasn't entirely untrue that this was a playful experience, but more so that it was meant to help Gaza grow as a warrior. It was known to him from the start that, even at a young age, Gohan was immensely more powerful than him. Not because that Gaza was weak, that was far from true; Gaza never really had an opportunity to train before. Most of his early life was spent digging through garbage for trash and foraging in the wilderness, so at the current time being, he was still young as a warrior.

As they had already agreed for a friendly skirmish, Gaza felt no need to taunt him into the confrontation, though he did suppress the urge. Friendliness hasn't really been his approach towards strangers lately, even when first encountering Vegeta, but Gohan was different than him. Gohan possessed in him a certain level of compatibility, Gaza saw a bit of himself in him. Or could it be the other way around? In the sense that Gohan was the type of warrior Gaza would become? It didn't matter now, he had to focus on the task at hand, that task of course being a friendly spar between the two.

"Right, if you're ready for this, then I am too." Gaza said, which might not have been the same had they been allies taking on an enemy, though Gaza would not admit that. Gaza would probably rather die in the face of an attack than to admit that someone was stronger than him. Being competitive was just Saiyan nature he assumed, a part of his nature he was very in touch with.

After a pause that Gaza took as a 'Let's go then.' from Gohan, he quickly rushed at the younger Saiyan, or Half-Saiyan rather, swinging a wild punch towards the boy's midsection. Then, immediately following, Gaza swung his leg upwards aiming for Gohan's ribs. Then finally, he swung his other leg, aiming for Gohan's face.

After that combo of moves, he didn't bother to wait for a reaction, Gaza gathered a bit of Ki in his hands, taking only a few short steps backward. He pushed outwards and, with a loud shout, he expelled a burst of flaming, fiery red energy. He couldn't much aim said technique, but he fired it towards Gohan's general direction.

With that, Gaza needed no more motivation, he fired a random Ki Ball into the smoke, not exactly aiming, just launching it and hoping for the best. It wasn't really that he wanted to kill Gohan, but he knew he needed to challenge him. Knowing he couldn't hold back on Gohan for even a moment if he wanted to surpass him.
