Easy Quest

Requirement: Must be a Saiyan or Half-Saiyan.

Reward: 1,000 zeni and a Third Class Commendation.

You may be a member of the Saiyan Army now, but you have a long way to go before you can prove yourself, runt. King Vegeta has a simple task for you to test your ability. We want to resale a nearby planet, Tranex. Go there with your squad, wipe them out, and reclaim the planet in the name of the King.

Finally, Zorn was able to enter the Initiation mission to join King Vegeta's army. He was waiting for this moment ever since he was a child. The day before, he'd trained and trained with his son, who would go on the mission with him.

His son was now the age of 16, and powerful. He had a power level higher than most of the teenagers his age. This was mostly due to the face that Zorn trained him day in and day out.

The day of initiation, they both put on their Saiyan Armor, and headed out. The two who would join them, Meirz, and Panoi, were already waiting for them.

Panoi was a quick tempered person, always snapping at the slightest annoyance, while Meirz was the quiet and collected type, who didn't really react to much of anything. He always had his arms crossed, and was looking down. Usually his eyes were closed, but in the presence of authority or an enemy, he was reliable.

"Where the hell have you two been?!" Panoi started to say, "We're late, and we're going to miss King Vegeta's instruction!"

"Not if you just go in, idiot" Zorn replied. He didn't bat an eye as he calmly walked passed him, and into King Vegeta's castle.

He was in fact late, but not to the point where he missed Vegeta's instruction. He stood at the end of the line on the left, and waited. It seemed as if they were having difficulties with something.

Zorn smirked, as that meant his lateness went unnoticed, and ignored by the others. After a few more moments, King Vegeta was finally ready.

He cleared his throat, and began. Welcome, young warriors. It seems that there are more of you than I had predicted. This proves to be a problem. In fact, I was only expecting one team to show up. Because of these, unexpected events, there will be a brief Battle Royale between the current warriors here.

"The walls around you will expand, and the tiles on the floor with change into a random landscape. You cannot turn into Oozaru or you will be disqualified and banned from ever applying to be in the Saiyan Army again. Good luck, and let the battle begin!" The platform that King Vegeta on retreated into the darkness behind him. The walls did in fact expand, and the floor did change dramatically. And a few moments later, chaos happened everywhere.

Zorn didn't have much time, so he quickly yelled, "Formation D!" and his team knew what he meant. They all spread out in different directions, and eliminated a few warriors on their way to the walls. They had a hard time climbing, but eventually they all got in position. They all looked in Zorn's direction, and after deflecting an incomming Ki attack, they all flew around the room in circles.

They sped up every rotation. Eventually, the warriors fighting tried to fire Ki attacks at them, but they were going to quickly. After they were moving and an incredible speed, Zorn fired a Ki attack. It was randomly fired, and hit a warrior in the chest.

Moments after, a rain of random Ki attacks bombarded the battlefield. There was no way to tell where one was coming from since they were now flying so fast that they were merely blurs. After a few more minutes of the onslaught, they all stopped and landed. Only a few warriors remained standing, and they were still badly hurt.

"Son, go finish them off." Zorn ordered. His son immediately flew towards the few warriors. After a few strikes, they went down. He walked back to the group, and faced towards were King Vegeta first appeared.

A few moments later, King Vegeta moved back into the light, and looked at the battlefield. Only Zorn's group remained. King Vegeta smirked. He said, "Go through the open door, and then we'll talk." Immediately after he finished his sentence, a door opened far below him. Zorn headed for the door, and the rest soon followed.

"You four have successfully taken out the competition" King Vegeta began, "Now, I want you to go to a planet, and claim it in the name of Vegeta. This is the test in which will decided whether or not you are eligible to join the Army. Failure, will most likely mean death."

Zorn and his team immediately accepted the mission, and set off. They all went in rented Space Pods, and flew towards the planet. Luckily, it was nearby, so the Flight only took a few hours. It was more than enough time for them to recover their fatigue.

A few hours later, they all landed on the planet. When they exited the pods, they saw a city in the distance that seemed bustling with activity.

"Perfect" Zorn said aloud, "Everybody, head for that city. We need to find out if there's any other cities around here, so you three wait outside the perimeter, while I go in and ask. When you see an explosion, I've either found the information, or they are familiar with Saiyans."

When they reached the city gates, Zorn, and only Zorn entered. He wandered around a little bit, until he found somebody who would probably know their way around. He asked them, and he said, "Yes, right underneath this city is another one. It's weird though, this planet never usually gets tourists."

Zorn was ignoring what the alien was saying past the information he needed. He chuckled evilly to himself, then slowly rose into the sky. "Electro Eclipse Bomb!" Zorn said. He pushed his hands in front of his chest, and started to gather Ki. The gathered Ki started to look very black, and crackled with electricity.

Zorn then shoved it downward, on to the city. It generated a gigantic explosion, and decimated at least a quarter of the city. He smirked, and saw his team rush in towards him.

Zorn gave them the news about the underground city, and then ordered them to destroy the above ground city first. He said it would terrify the underground people, and make it that much more interesting. He gave some hands signals, and then everybody spread out into the city.

Zorn and his team were pretty much finished with the destruction in a matter of minutes. They all regroup to the middle of the destroyed city, and Zorn told them to all fire at the location of his Electro Eclipse Bomb, since it generated the largest crater.

The hovered above the area, and launched their most powerful attacks. The impact caused the entire planet to visibly shake, and there was a clear hole in the ground.

Light shone inside, and what Zorn's team saw was incredible. An actual city structure was built underground. There were pathways, buildings, and means of transportation adapted in a way so that it had the ability to function under ground. Zorn laughed maniacally and said, "It looks like we're going to have some fun!"

He flew down immediately, but was stopped by four approaching aliens. They were dressed in clothing that a warrior would wear. They then yelled to Zorn and his team, "You evil saiyans! We have stopped your invasions before, and we wont hesitate to kill you in order to save our planet!" Zorn was surprised that this alien knew about Saiyans, even when the one he talked to did not.

Zorn slowly retreated back to his group, and said "This'll be a good battleground for us I guess. Everybody choose somebody to fight. Whoever gets there first, gets to fight them." Immediately after he finished conveying his message, he rushed towards the one who seemed like the leader. He got to him in quick enough time, and knocked him into the underground city. Chasing after him, Zorn was ready to get a work out.

Zorn had chosen the underground to be his battleground. The alien that he had knocked into the city had crashed through a few of the roads, which seemed elevated electronically. Smoke and fire loomed around the area of impact as Zorn rushed to where he had crashed. He grabbed a metal rod from one of the destroyed roads for the sake of not going into battle completely unarmed.

The path of destructing continued for a while, until Zorn could see the crater that the Alien created on the bedrock. He laughed to himself, and then immediately rushed towards the crater. suddenly, a large Ki blast appeared out of the crater. Just in time, Zorn moved to the left, and avoided it, It created a large explosion above, and debris from the city fell down. Zorn held out his hand, and released a wave of Ki at the crater.

The alien avoided it just in the nick of time, but Zorn expected it. He then said "Trap Shooter." A ball of Ki appeared in his hand, and then he swiped his hand from the left to the right. dozens of balls of Ki suddenly appeared, and rained down on the Alien. Zorn then dropped to the ground.

He dashed to the area where the Alien was, and saw it roll away from the Trap Shooter. He rushed next to it, and kicked it right in the side of the head. He proceeded to unleash a flurry of attacks against the Alien. Finally, it put up some defense, and kicked one of Zorn's punches away. It jumped backwards, and wiped some blood off of it's mouth.

It got in a stance that Zorn assumed to be it's battle position. Zorn did the same. The Alien made the first move, and rushed towards Zorn. It threw a right hook, that Zorn easily dodged. He countered with a knee to the stomach, and an elbow to the face.

The Alien staggered backwards, and got back in it's battle position. Then, it yelled a battle cry, and a green aura surrounded it. It then rushed towards Zorn, still yelling. It unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks. Zorn could only parry them, until one made contact.

He was launched upwards, and smirked. He wiped a trickle of blood off of his mouth, and said, "Since you've kicked it up a notch, maybe I should too." He then proceded to yell, as a blue aura surrounded him. When he was finished, he laughed, and rushed at the alien.

He moved so quickly the Alien didn't have any time to react. A knee implanted itself in the Alien's face, and it was sent flying backwards. Before it could hit the wall Zorn appeared behind, and kicked it in the back. It was launched upwards, and crashed through a few structures. Zorn then proceeded to decimate the Alien with a flurry of strikes.

Zorn grew bored of this Alien, as it was hardly a challenge. He flew upwards, and out of the opening. He looked around, and saw that his crew was waiting for him on the edges.

"Did you finish him yet?" his son said. They all seemed to have taken out the three easily.

"About to." Zorn said. He flew a little ways out of the hole, then turned around. He then proceeded to concentrate all of his energy on his next attack. The Electro Eclipse Bomb grew larger and larger, until it was about Zorn's size. He then opened his eyes, and yelled "ELECTRO ECLIPSE BOMB!" and thrusted his hands forward. The Electro Eclipse Bomb was then launched into the crater, and tore through the city.

"We should all get out of here before it explodes." Zorn said. He was out of energy from the attack, but he still flew as fast as he could to the pods. By the time him and his team touched down, they all felt the shock wave. It shook the whole planet. When they looked back, they could see the hole in the decimated city was expelling a huge black energy. The black energy started to expand, and Zorn said, "We need to leave, now!"

They all got in the pods, and set the destination to Vegeta. When they left the planets atmostphere, they saw that the explosion had left a larger crater in the planet. It was proof that the city was destroyed, and the mission was complete.
