Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Ryouji 5/24/2012, 12:52 am

It was finally time, time for the boy to undergo the Guardian’s true training. The trial was difficult, but far from impossible. With some effort, Ryouji was able to extinguish the flames and gain the right to take the final passage into a world of true power. Cell had earned the right as well as he had accomplished the same task. Though the boy did not get to witness his battle first hand like he wanted, he knew he would soon get to witness the power of his comrade first hand very shortly.

After the duo’s trial, Kami had led them back up the staircase to the top of the platform. He showed the two warriors to the tall tower that stood at the back of the Lookout. Again, they took to the spiraling staircase. What was with all these stairs? If Kami was indeed as powerful as his legend tells, then why did he insist on climbing the stairs so slowly? He may have been powerful in his prime, but now he was an old man, certainly most of his power had faded over the years; so just how did he plan on training the two youthful warriors?

The room at the top of the staircase was extremely larger, much more so than the boy had first expected. It was dark and with the only light source being that from the large glowing symbol in the middle of the room. Slowly the three of them made their way to the center of the darkness and closer to the light. Upon closer inspection, Ryouji was quite surprised.

On the floor was a very large purple magic circle and its bright glowing light lit up the room. The very sight of the familiar symbol shocked the young boy. He had never seen anything so similar to his own power. Just what was this old man planning? Was Kami’s power similar to his own? If so, then his age and appearance matters little, as the power of magic is absolute. As long as his spirit remains connected to this realm, then the Guardian is capable of anything.

Kami motioned for the warriors to step inside the circle. Ryouji was hesitant at first, but his curiosity quickly outweighed his doubts and he slowly walked into the circle. He felt a tingling sensation throughout his body, much like when he used his magic. The boy looked to his comrade and nodded, signaling that everything was safe. Once Cell joined him, the circle would engulf the two in magic energy and would activate, performing its intended purpose.

Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Cell 5/25/2012, 12:23 am

Cell knew the way to the room already. So many of his cell's had been there before that even if he did not possess the genetic memory of Kami himself he would have easily been able to walk ahead. He did not how, as this would probably only cause suspicion to who and what he was even more so than normal. He could easily tell by a simple glance that despite his almost neutral face, Ryouji was both annoyed and deep in thought. He was easy enough to read for Cell, just subtle facial twitches were enough. They very rarely provided him with information that was crucial, but it was still a useful ability to Cell.

He also knew, without looking, that Ryouji was surprised by seeing a large magic circle on the ground. It closely resembled the magic his 'comrade' used in combat. However, this portal also contained much more magical energy than his hybrid friend could wield. At least, to the best of his knowledge it did, and his knowledge was pretty extensive. He didn't give it much thought after Ryouji walked in and nodded to signal it was safe. Cell walked into the circle, and a moment later was no longer there. He blinked, and he was in a completely different area.

This time however, he was not in the Astral realm. This time he had crossed some line and went back in time hundreds of years. He was getting annoyed by all the transportation he was doing in this manner. He was used to choosing his own path, not having something make him go done some road. This, at least, would be a good road to power. Considering that, his annoyance level went down a great deal.

He now examined the area around them more closely. He couldn't feel a single living being around them for a good distance. However, he could see hundreds, maybe even thousands of human corpses around him. Each had a distinctive attire, being dressed and armored. One side appeared to be sporting some red cloth with symbols of their armies, while the other had white with the a different symbol. They also wore what appeared to be bronze armor on their chests, arms, some had helmets and other such combat gear. They also only sported spears, bows, or swords as weaponry.

This had obviously been the center of a major war sometime in the past. Probably at least two centuries ago, going from the armor and type of battle. This was a head on collision and each army had significant losses. Perhaps there wasn't even a winner, each fighting to nearly the last man. Cell loved this place. Death was everywhere, food laid on the ground in plentiful amounts. They were still fresh and if he so chose he could still gain quite a bit from them. It was then he noticed something distinctive and odd.

"Ryouji...there." he said simply and clearly. At least as clear as his strange voice could be. He was pointing to a 'path' in the exact direction they had come into existence looking towards. This 'path' was literally carved with human bodies.

Not a single member of the 'red' army could be seen among the trail of Death. Even if the colors had not given it away, the fact that each man had very brutal wounds that could not have been inflicted by a normal human. Arms, legs, heads, severed from the body in what could easily be discerned as a single swipe from a blade. The armor of many had been completely cut through, as if the bronze were mere paper to the opposing force that had rendered them asunder. Whatever it was, this made it clear it had great strength. The final thing that made this noticeable, were places of ground that had been burned and deformed by a powerful attack. Bodies charred and blackened by what was obviously ki powered attacks.

Their opponent most assuredly was at the end of this path of carnage. Cell was so intrigued, he began following this path with a good pace. He had ignored Ryouji for a good while during his almost trance like walk. He was obsessed with finding what laid at the end of this 'Rainbow' carved out of human remains. Soon Cell found himself at the top of a hill, a small valley below them and directly across stood another large hill. It was atop this hill that he saw what he could only assume was his target. His hunger was raging now. It did not help that he could suddenly feel the massive power he was going up against. It easily rivaled Broly's power, but it was different. It was most assuredly human as well...but what human had this much power?

Looking at him, several vital pieces of information could be gained. His general level of strength was proven by the corpses and his aura. The ruthless assault was obvious due to his sword he still held tightly in his hand. The blade had obviously been shattered much earlier in the battle from the force of this mans blows. However, he was unconsciously holding it together with his massive amount of ki. Even with that, if he swung it now, it would probably not survive the air resistance.

The man they were looking at could not be older than twenty, due to his very youthful appearance. He was covered in blood, but from what Cell could see none of it could be his own. He had no open wounds, no bruises, no broken bones. He had obvious places on his armor and clothing that showed he had to have taken damage at some point, but cell disregarded this thought. Perhaps he had just been that much better than every other warrior that laid before them.

His target looked at them, his eyes focusing as they felt the massive pressure of his killing intent. Cell made no obvious visible changes to his demeanor but he steeled himself inside. This crushing intent easily rivaled Cell's own. The only other person to ever possess such a thing was Broly when he was raging about whatever that simpleton found annoying.

Even this man's pitch black hair was dyed with the blood of his enemies. Cell spoke clearly to his partner when he spoke. " This guy....is some kind of monster."The words sounding strange considering it was Cell that spoke them. It was just after this that their opponent addressed them.

"Have even demons come to try to kill me now? Can you at least give me a challenge unlike these boring soldiers? Before I kill you, you should know that your executions name. Franken." he said, as he slowly began walking towards them. It was omnious, and most fighters faced with this would most likely run in terror. However, Cell and Ryouji were not normal fighters. Cell was not experiencing fear, he was incredibly hungry. He was glad to have found such a meal and a challenge. All of the Cells in his body urged him to fight this man, to kill and eat him. Even his Saiyan cells were in overdrive just because of the potential challenge. He did not attack however, as he awaited Ryouji's decision to fight or flee. The boy had courage and grit, so he was expecting a good response.

Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Ryouji 5/26/2012, 12:29 pm

The rush of energy the shook his body was short lived as Ryouji and Cell had been teleported away. The first reaction of Ryouji was to gag, but he suppressed the reflex and took a look around. Hordes of bodies were scattered about. Some of the corpses wearing red armor and the others white. Whatever the reason, it looked to be the middle of a battlefield and judging by the weapons and armor scattered about the corpse laid land, it took place back in the Iron Age.

’Did he not only transport us to a different location, but back in time as well?’ Ryouji thought to himself, still bewildered at the sight. He never thought time travel possible, but apparently with magic it was.

Ryouji felt an ever so slight tingling sensation throughout his extremities. The same feeling he got when standing within the magic circle in the Pendulum Room, but to less a degree. ’What a powerful magic. Even in a different space and time I can feel the connection of the magic through the Spirit World. It must be that magic that allows us to exist here, in the past.’

He had been lost in thought for a brief moment and neglected to keep an eye on Cell, but when he turned his gaze to his warrior companion, he was struck by harsh reality. Cell was walking up a hill, through a path of severed bodies. Ryouji followed behind, examining each body has he passed by them. The severed limbs were cut completely through and the wounds were scorched as if it was done by an intense blade of heat or energy. Whatever killed these countless men was certainly not human, and no technology should have existed yet for these men to be so quickly slaughtered.

Ryouji neared Cell as he had stopped at the top of the hill. Standing beside his comrade he looked down into the valley upon the man he would not soon forget. He held a sword broken into pieces but held together by an incredibly powerful energy. His armor and clothing were ripped and torn, holes and blood stains covered most of the man, but strangely it looked as though he was unharmed. He was youthful, not much older than Ryouji , but the way he held himself was comparable to that of Broly.

"Have even demons come to try to kill me now? Can you at least give me a challenge unlike these boring soldiers? Before I kill you, you should know that your executions name. Franken." The man called out after noticing Ryouji joining his ally. He started his ascent up the hill toward the two warriors.

If it were not for his countless encounters with Broly, surely even the ever confident Ryouji would have thought to retreat, but that was not the case. In fact, he was intrigued by the man. Not even Broly could fight so many without taking any damage; there was something odd about this man. If Broly was the most powerful being in the universe then Ryouji’s plans would go unhindered, but if this man existed in this age and is at least as powerful as his comrade, then one could only imagine his pour in the current age.

Ryouji wasted no breath as he simply looked to Cell with a glint in his eye. Though his fear of the unknown would have normally prevented him from performing any kind of strike against the man, his curiosity to learn about the unknown had gotten the better of him. He placed his hands just in front of him, aimed for the sword wielding man. A large magic circle formed just in front of his hands and lit up with a purple energy. The symbols and marking inside the circle molded together to form about twenty balls of energy. This was the first time Ryouji would use this attack and he was looking forward to its destructive nature. With a cracking of the circle, the orbs shot forward as short beams of light. Each beam flew downward at the man and soon the Earth around him exploded in a rain of dirt and debris. It was like a shotgun blast, where the attack was spread out, but does incredible damage. Surely the man would fall, after all he had only been fighting humans who carried swords.

When the smoke cleared Ryouji was surprised to see Franken still standing and with a wicked grin on his face. How did the man not get injured? Surely the attack must have hit him. Upon closer inspection it had. There were several new holes in his armor that had not been there before the attack. They were still bright red and cooling from the intense heat presented by the beams, but the man’s body seemed to be unharmed. The attack hit its mark and had done its damage, but Franken showed no sign of being hit other than his armor.

“Demons it is then,” Franken’s grin became even more frightening as it showed an eagerness for bloodlust Ryouji hadn’t seen since the day he had first met Broly. “I do hope you two pack more power than that, otherwise I may get bored.”

Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Cell 5/26/2012, 4:08 pm

Cell watched the attack hit home. He kept his composure, but he was certainly surprised to see that while it hit perfectly, this opponent was undamaged. That simply was not possible. Ryouji wasn't known for being especially powerful, but he was not weak either. This guy should at least have serious burns going from the glowing hot bronze armor he was wearing. What should be and what was, were very different things today. It was quite aggravating.

The green monster decided that perhaps, just maybe, this guy had some kind of ability to absorb energy. If that was the case then ki attacks of any sort would be useless. He would have to get physical to kill this man, which suited cell just fine. After all, while there was a certain pleasure in seeing an attack of yours burn a hole through a vital organ...there was also massive pleasure to be had in feeling your fists breaking them. Feeling your claws rip and rake through flesh and muscle. In seeing just how awe inspiring your physical prowess could be in killing the shit out of someone.

Cell however, was not stupid enough to just charge in and attack outright without some kind of plan. He probed just a bit into Ryouji's mind. Enough that while he could not see all of his 'comrades' intentions and thoughts, he could communicate effectively. " Ryouji, while I attack I want you to try to find the best moment to come in and kill him. Do it without getting in my way. He said. He gave little time to listen to anything his human-hybrid ally would say, as he was ready to kill something. After all, he had been having to keep himself under a tight leash while on the Lookout. He was no longer there, and no longer needed to do so. It was time to be merciless. Time to be relentless, malicious, and to show extreme prejudice. It was time to have fun!

He charged forward in one massive kick off. He had augmented his muscles and tendons with large amounts of ki. This increased the muscles contraction speed and explosive power in massive proportions. The ground behind him being slightly deformed by the charge. Cell had timed this as best he could, waiting until his opponent blinked to do this. The reason being that against a creature with this much power, he could not take any chances. He had to get even the slightest bit of advantage he could in every move he made. The quickness of his charge and his excellent timing meant he was half-way to him before the man even knew what was happening. Not that it mattered, apparently.

He came at him with a swift raking blow towards his right eye. Cell was found of this maneuver, as it often resulted in doing some kind of damage. That was, if it did not outright kill or maim his target. However, he would not get to finish it, not this time. Despite his speed and slight advantage, he would get a fist full of 'fuck you' as the man moved his head to the side just enough to dodge the attack. He also dropped the useless blade to the ground. It was not because it was useless, it was because his opponent was not using a weapon. A form of honor it seemed, but that wouldn't matter as the fist of this guy was enough to kill a normal person in one swing. His opponent shoved his fist right into the green monsters face, their arms passing just an inch away from each other. This rocked his vision to the side, everything becoming blurry for just an instant in time.

If it hadn't have been that Cell was not human, his jaw would have been shattered, and his neck broken from the force. Recovering at an inhuman pace, and using his massive experience, he countered quickly. Turning his while body to bring his left fist towards Franken's face. Cell could tell that a quick kill here would not be happening, and as such, he would have to get into his pace of wearing his opponent down until the right opportunity presented itself. Despite knowing his attacks could kill in a single blow, the human obviously did not count on that happening every time. At the same time that Cell was attacking, so was Franken.

The creation of Gero managed to get in the powerful left hook, rocking his opponents head to the side as spittle flew from his mouth. Cell however, took a powerful uppercut to his side. He was lifted off of the ground and pushed a few feet away from his opponent. The pain in his jaw and side were negligible considering he had been almost completely disintegrated in the past. He wasted no time in continuing his attack. He knew his punch, while not as strong as this man's, was still enough to stun him for just a moment.

Cell was no one to waste an opportunity like this, and as such he surged forward again. He had his right arm crossed over his chest and his hand behind his head. Franken looked towards him and once again threw a massive punch towards his head. Cell's experiences was showing full force now, as he knew this exact thing would happen. His head moved just a millimeter out of the way of the attack. He could feel the vacuum left behind due to this attack. That very well might have taken his head clean off. He then swung his arm the moment after it missed. He could feel his claws slashing through the bronze armor, as well as his opponents flesh. He had managed to land a blow. Even better, the bronze armor that was just barely protecting him, shattered to pieces from the quickness and force of the attack.

However, when Cell looked back, he could see exactly why this man hadn't been 'wounded' by the attacks. It was clear that the wound he had just inflicted was healing at an insane pace. He could see it re-connecting and sealing. In just a few moments the foot long three inch deep laceration he had placed across his opponent chest and abdomen was gone. Not even a scar. Blood trailed down his body from it, but besides that, there was no indication he had ever even been hit. Franken gave a small chuckle.

"You are not boring at all...this is amazing." he said, and a fire was lit in his eyes. Like his boredom was finally gone, like he could really enjoy himself now. He had just taken a lethal attack and shrugged it off. It took that much to really fire him up? This was probably a bad sign for the duo. That did not stop the fire in Cell's eyes either though. Not only had he found such an incredible challenge, a fulfilling and satisfying meal, he had found something he had never known of in the human race before. This human had to be peak of what humans could achieve. It was probably due to some amalgam of genetic mutations that had allowed for such a powerful healing factor.
Cell now desired those mutation to be absorbed into his perfection. He would do almost anything to reach that new goal. He was a very determined monster.

Franken was obviously focused simply on Cell at the moment, and so Cell charged forward with a flurry of attack. Throwing punches at his gut, chest, and face. Anywhere to keep his opponent paying attention to him. He then charged a huge amount of energy into his right fist. Throwing it out towards his chest with the intention of firing off a powerful beam of ki the moment it came into contact with his target. This was to give Ryouji the best opening he could.

Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Ryouji 5/26/2012, 7:00 pm

Ryouji gritted his teeth. He hated ignorance and in this case he couldn’t be more ignorant of a foe than he was now. How did the man who was obviously hit by the technique, show no signs of damage?

‘Ryouji, while I attack I want you to try to find the best moment to come in and kill him. Do it without getting in my way.’ Ryouji’s voice rang in his head. That must have been Cell. Obviously one would not be able to have a distinct voice without any kind of auditory action, thus the mental message placed in his head was read to him in his own voice. So it was when it came to telepathy. ’Of course.’ Ryouji responded.

Then Cell took off, going for his patented eye jab. Ryouji was surprised to see how easily his attack was dodged and countered. To match Cell was an impressive feat, definitely more so than the boy had expected. Perhaps this was the secret behind Kami’s power. Perhaps this man, whoever he was, would prove to be just what the two warriors needed.

That’s when it happened; Cell had struck a hardy blow across the man’s chest. His claws shredded through Franken’s armor, it clashing to the ground in a heap of torn metal. And that’s when Ryouji realized; the man did take damage, but he had an uncanny ability to regenerate his body almost instantly. The huge gash that once lay across the man’s torso was now completely gone and the only sign of there being any lacerations at all was the blood that was still running down his body.

How could a man heal so quickly? It was inhuman. They weren’t the demons, this man was the demon. With such quick responses and his impressive healing ability, this man would certainly prove a challenge.

Cell made a head on attack with an impressive concussive blast and that was the opportunity the boy was waiting for. He had been working on a new technique which comes in various forms and this is the perfect time to test it out.

Ryouji took to the air and circled to Franken’s backside. The young mage stretched his arms outward and to the side. Large purple circles formed in front of each hand. The writing inside the circles started to morph and change forming new phrases of the ancient Shin text. Suddenly, and with a burst of purple light, the magic rings exploded into a thousand shards. Ryouji threw both his arms forward, and the shards followed. Each crystal went flying like a rain of needles toward the regenerating man.

Luckily for Ryouji, Cell had kept the man occupied long enough for several of the spike to dig their way deep within his back. Most would have cried out in pain, but not this man he simply grunted as each shard pierced his body. Blood started to drip from the wounds at a heavy pace, but was soon cauterized as the energy from the spikes burnt the flesh of its victim. Surely the man could feel pain, but he did seem to be able to hide it well.

Suddenly the three holes that the spikes still lay in started to bleed once more, only to be burnt again. That’s when Franken shot Ryouji a look. It was the first time since their fight had begun that the man looked to be truly surprised. He looked at his shoulder where one of the shards lay embedded to see that his wound had not yet healed. His body tried to regenerate itself causing the holes to bleed, but the energy from the spikes seared the wounds in place. It was a constant circle of bleeding and burning. The air was now filled with the putrid smell of burnt flesh.

“You are a clever man,” Franken said as he gritted his teeth and reached behind him. He grabbed ahold of the prism that lay embedded in his shoulder. “but your attacks are too weak.”

With one quick movement, Franken pulled the shard from his back and tossed it to the ground. How could this man be so freaking powerful? Wasn’t he only a human like Ryouji? Of course Ryouji was by far incredibly stronger than most humans, but his physical power paled in comparison to this man.

Ryouji wondered just what kind of harsh training one would have to undertake to reach this man’s level of power. If he was so strong though, why have historians not documented his existence? It’s obvious by the numerous corpses scattered about, that this man deeds were indeed worthy of being told, so why haven’t they been? What prevented the knowledge of such a monster from reaching our time?

Whatever the case, it wasn’t the future that mattered right now, only this battle. Ryouji knew that he had to keep the two shards in the man’s back in order to give Cell an opportunity to deal damage from the inside where hopefully his regeneration would not be able to heal him as quickly.

The young boy concentrated as he poured his magical energies into the two remaining pieces. When Franken went to grab another spike, his flesh started to melt as he made contact with it. Ryouji was able to increase the intensity of the shards as long as he continued to funnel energy into them. This was the only way to buy time for surely Cell had come up with his own plan by now.

Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell) Empty Re: Pendulum Room (Ryouji+Cell)

Post by Cell 5/26/2012, 11:51 pm

Cell saw the attack, and it's affects. He made a mental note of this, because he honestly did not expect them to be allies forever. Then again, Cell was practically immortal when it came to aging, so he had to think in the long run. However, he had more important things to focus on. His chance was finally their in front of them. He was going to kill this bastard despite his insane rate of healing.

He was still shocked that someone had a greater healing ability than himself. It was insane, completely and totally insane. Why did he not have this mans gene's inside of him? None of his experiences or memories gave him any insight into this man. That meant that either he was dead, or he hadn't been active for at least a hundred years. Roshi would most certainly have known of him, given his background and his sibling Baba. It gave a good credence to the idea that the Inquisition members would kill him here. Cell would find out shortly if that idea was true or not.

As his target was reaching to pull the shards from his back, Cell was ready. Ever since he had felt Ryouji move, he had started charging massive amounts of energy into both hands. There was so much gathered that it felt as if it was burning him from the inside out. It probably was, considering how his ki moved in such an off-set manner due to all the different combined energies. Regardless, he paid the pain no attention, it was not deserving.

He moved in quickly, closing the distance once more. Franken turned quickly, his eyes going a bit wide as he realized his mistake. He had taken his eyes off of one warrior to another, and while he had been doing that, this one was preparing something. He didn't know what, he could just sense that something dreadful was about to happen. His only other indication was that this 'demons' hands were glowing a purple hue. "That cant be good" Franken would think to himself as Cell attacked. Cell knew this, because he had been lightly probing his mind, but he couldn't make out any direct thoughts. What the hell was this guy? He was obviously just a normal human by most anatomical standards.

Before he could even begin a strike, Cell was already sweeping his right arm in front of him. A large blade of ki shot forward, it sliced directly threw his opponent, the blade passing threw him diagonally cutting him from hip to shoulder. He was doing this to damage as many internal organs as possible. The lungs, heart, liver, stomach, one kidney, intestinal damage. All from this one attack. As much overkill as that seemed to be, Cell was not one to take chances. He also was not done at all.

Blood spurted from the mans mouth as his head was thrown back from the pain. One could hear a gurgling sound as he tried to make some kind of noise. It was obvious that serious damage had been done to his lungs as the blade burned a cut its way through his opponent. He was still conscious however, and still alive. Cell's finger was placed against his head.

A torrent of energy spewed forth from the tip of his finger. The death beam had been overcharged to a supreme degree. It was easily the size of a baseball in width. It seared through Franken's skull. He had tried to move his head at the last second, and because of this, Cell had not been able to destroy the entire brain. However, he had been able to completely disintegrate the frontal lobe, which was good enough considering the damage he had done to the body. Or so Cell had thought to himself as he lamented the 'missed' shot.

Blood poured from this damaged area as well, obscuring the brain from being seen in all it's charred goodness. His chest showed burned and charred skin, the white ends of his now mostly destroyed rib cage. His heart was gone, as his lungs severed. You could actually see all the way through him, besides his spine. Somehow it had survived the carnage of the Fissure Slash. That alone was an impressive feat. The body fell limply to the ground.

Cell turned to face his comrade and took a few steps forward. He wanted to keep from stepping in the blood of his fallen opponent. Blood was annoying to clean off his feet. Besides that, and while he would never admit to it, he had gained a tremendous amount of respect for that man. Well, tremendous for a human in Cell's eyes. He had still fallen like so many others of his race had fallen to Cell, it had just taken an extreme amount of overkill and effort. "I guess that's it. So, how do we get home mr. ma..." His sentence trailed off at the end at an awkward place.

He had noticed a slight movement of a shadow behind him. The field was already darkening and the silhouette of the body was very small, but Cell had great eyesight. His cat like eyes actually went wide at the revelation before he turned around. His normally calm demeanor shattered by it. He was already forming ki into his hand for defensive purposes. However, just as he finished his spin, something happened to Cell that had actually never happened to him personally before.

Frankens arm forced it's way through his chest. It was not a piercing attack, it was a blunt but incredibly forceful punch. His acidic blood covereing the mans arm and burning it all around. However, he showed no indication of it actually hurting. Why should he? His brain and skull had just repaired itself completely. His rib cage was fully repaired and his skin was on it's way. Cell could see inside of him as he watched the muscle and skin repair itself. The heart and lungs were fine. He caught the last of the charred flesh come back to life on his opponents liver and other internal organs just before the flesh covered it back up. Only one thought could cross Cell's mind.

"What the fuck are we dealing with" He thought to himself as he looked into Franken's deep and powerful gaze. Cell had never feared a human, and he still didn't. Despite the odd's, he would never fear his prey. His anger flared at that moment. He would achieve perfection again, and this mutation of his cattle would not be the thing that barred his way. He was going to eat this fucker right now. Just before Franken could gloat, Cell's tail was thrust into his liver. The green monster grabbed him by the forearm and dug his claws in until he felt them lodge into the bone. He was not going to get away easily.

The monstrous creation of gero began to absorb Franken. His tail showed the signs as lumps could be seen moving down the length of it. It was still making the strange slurping sound it had acquired since his rebirth. He had no idea why the hell it did that, but it was certainly an unsettling sound. However, the surprises just would not cease in this battle. Cell's eyes widened once more.

He had already consumed more than this mans weight in biomass. In fact it was well over twice the weight. Soon, Cell began to feel full. That had never happened before, especially not from just one human. This mans regeneration was so great, it was repairing the lost biomass that was being absorbed faster than Cell could eat it. Franken pulled his arm back, wincing as the flesh was ripped to ribbons by Cell's claws. He held both arms to the side, charging huge amounts of energy. It was insane. Each orb held more energy than Ryouji and Cells levels of power could add up to if combined.

"Thanks for keeping me interested!" He said, in a sincere way. It was so honest and sincere that it was almost insulting. Was he making fun of them? Cell would not have the time to decide, as both orbs came crashing down on top of him. However, he would not die there that day. Both him and Ryouji were teleported back to the Lookout just before the attack could hit. Cell was still covered in blood, his eyes a bit bewildered by what he had seen. A hole still dug through his chest, though the extra biomass caused it to heal quickly. He looked at Ryouji, and could not put his thoughts into words. That monster was still alive, he had to be. That valley they were in, could not exist on Earth as more than a smoldering wasteland the size of a city.

If they were able to discern that location, they would find out that it was actually where South City stood now. The ground there having been leveled out for the creation of said city just over two hundred years ago.
