Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Broly 6/12/2012, 10:35 pm

Broly glanced to the skies outside of his window; storm clouds were brewing on the horizon, an ominous indicator of his future. Though he did not care to philosophize about such things, he knew it was true without having to think about it, somewhere in the back of his mind. It was a given fact that his future was obscured by various factors and possibilities; would his Father ever return to haunt him? Would he find the old bastard first, or would he be wiped out by a strike of vengeance promised long ago? Broly still didn't know what Paragus' problem was with him; why wasn't he proud or overjoyed that his child was powerful? Releasing a deep breath from his nostrils, Broly brought a single hand up to the glass as the storm cloud approached his location. Something felt...Strange, about it. Something felt off; as though there was more to this cloud than he had previously assumed. Brow furrowing with some form of curiosity, the warrior watched as they approached the mansion unobstructed. These past few days had been a rather bothersome set. He had unlocked his power in combat against the old Crane Hermit, he had been involved in some unsavory dealings with weaklings aboard a train; he had visited a robotics facility and burned it to the ground.

Though these were things he did not object to, they still felt off kilter. It was as though he was being herded, for some reason; directed and moved by some outside force. He wouldn't call it the meddling of destiny, nor would he call it the strings of fate, this was something different entirely. A force he should have been able to detect was redirecting him and changing his fate, perhaps it was even watching him right now. He couldn't honestly claim to understand such things, as it was not his station nor his purpose to care...but here he was, clearly displeased over such things. His brow strained, attempting to remain furrowed against all of his command. He was trying to calm himself, trying to fight the growing sense of insecurity and anger. Something about this was fucked up; he didn't like being herded, but he was probably just being paranoid. He had noticed that as of late, he'd been cracking; his mask ofapathy was breaking and shattering and providing him with some form of the sympathy he had forsaken at birth. He was not supposed to have sympathy, and yet here it came; sneaking up through the cracks in his mask, surfacing and surrounding him with the faintest tinglings of it's existence.

His lips slowly twisted into a snarl, as the rain began to patter against his window, looking remarkably different than the rain he was used to. Something was definitely fucking with him, today. Narrowing both eyes, he stared off into the storm cloud, pondering exactly what was coming toward him and what could have been coming toward him. Agents of his past? Hidden members of the Planet Trade? He had received reports from the Underworld as of late, that the Planet Trade Organization had learned to hide their power levels from sensors and senses in general. It was forcing his blood to boil, and his power to rise against all attempts to restrain it; the jewels decorating his body were now glowing brightly in their attempts to constrict his power. Even when bolstered by his own efforts, his rage was proving too powerful. His paranoia was fueling everything here, and even though he knew it at some level, he could not combat it. If only he could fight himself as well as he fought others; was this how his victims felt, or did they feel more helpless when he was bearing down upon them?

Broly brought a hand to his aching head as two fly-like figures burst from the clouds, blending in with the rain that seemed to slam against his windows. Under normal circumstances, Broly would have noticed them immediately, but for some reason he felt incapacitated; his hear beat was rising rapidly and his head was pounding. He could feel it pulsing and throbbing as his eyes closed and his body leaned up against the window sill. He had no way of knowing that two beings were conspiring against him from the skies above, their bodies soaring toward him at speeds previously unrivaled. They were ready to go, rip-roaring ready to tear the Legendary Warrior to shreds below; of course, not many people would have been so willing to go forth toward such a dangerous warrior. These men were trained professionals, experienced in the art of combat and war; these warriors were perhaps the only two mercenaries capable of accepting such a contract. Then again, what self-respecting warrior would avoid a hit entitled: "Broly - The Legendary Saiyan (Extremely Dangerous)"?

In their defense, Broly had yet to encounter any warriors like Sleet or Hail; they were of a different breed entirely.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Cell 6/16/2012, 2:34 pm

Cell was walking his way home, the rain pouring down around him as he looked towards the mansion. It had just come into vision, and it did nothing to brighten his sour mood. He was brooding over the fact that he hadn't found anyone to bring home. That was, he wasn't able to find people to re-stock his murder basement. He still had some stock, but it was running low. After all, he was having to keep himself from major population centers for the time being. He wasn't going to have a repeat of what happened before his rebirth. This time he was going to kill them without them even knowing anything was going on.

Normally he was able to stock up by finding hikers, farmers, and hunters in the wooded area's. Sometimes random travelers on the road who did not have the money to afford a car or other transportation. Today was not his lucky day. Even though the pouring rain made it much easier for him to move stealthily, it also meant less food was moving about. He did need the stealth factor, being he was a seven foot tall green insect-humanoid with an aura of death constantly surrounding him. He had once been twenty feet from his target, a hunter who was tracking a deer he shot.

The moment Cell had gotten without that reach, even though he had made no noise, the man began looking around. A look of fear on his face. After all, even if the human race was mostly comprised of worthless idiots and powerful fools, they did possess some senses. The ability to notice killing intent being directed towards you was one, even though most humans ignored it. However, when Cell was around, that sense went off one hundred fold. It was like Death was tearing and gnashing at your throat. Incidentally, in that instance, he did tear out the throat of that hunter. It was glorious as the deer looked back and watched as the green monster consumed the man. As if it had some morbid fascination with watching it. Perhaps it was enjoying watching a man who had probably killed a good deal of it's brethren die horribly.

However, no such thing had happened this day. Cell was obviously quite pissed about it. Broly might even have to gall to call him out on his failed hunting trip. If he did, Cell might just go ahead and make him his food right then and there. Then, just to piss off his soul, he would toss his head into the fire place for the irony. The thought brightened his mood a bit as he smiled internally, incapable of such a thing externally because of his beak. It was during this thought, that a strange feeling came over him. He wasn't sensing anything exactly...but he was. It was then that he realized that this was a malicious amount of killing intent. He sometimes was actually glad he had human cells inside him.

He looked upwards, and saw exactly where this was coming from. A changeling and another alien were flying towards the mansion. Judging by the distance, Broly had somehow not noticed. He was failing his job as a guard dog. Cell noted this just so he could bother him about it later. He couldn't tell yet what their strength was, because they had apparently learned to hide it. Sneaky bastards, it would seem. Cell didn't have much love for the mansion, besides the fact that he had decided that it was his murder basement, more so than everything else in the galaxy was his. He had also decided that both Ryouji and Broly were going to be his food his prey. These impudent little aliens wanted to fuck with his food? To take food off of his plate? They must not realize he was even there nor who he was. To take his food was to take food from a lion, it was not a smart idea. He would have to illustrate just how bad of an idea that was.

The monstrous creation of Gero pulled his hand in front of him and swiped it to the side quickly as large amounts of energy gathered in his fingers. He left behind a bright line of energy, which was causing the rain around Cell to evaporate before it could even get close. A moment later it shattered and sent bright shards of energy hurtling towards his targets. If they were not skewered and filled with holes from this, he'd gladly fight and kill both of the arrogant assholes for thinking of fucking with his food.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Broly 6/21/2012, 7:16 pm

Broly slowly placed a hand on his window sill as he approached it, now glancing to the skies. It was then that something rather unusual caught his eye; this definitely was not what he had expected to see. Lances of energy were darting up from the ground toward what appeared to be two rather quick insects, clearly meant to spear through them. Narrowing both eyes as the ache in his head continued to throb, the warrior pondered their existence further; were they coming to do away with him while he was feeling weak? Who was possibly defending him?

Up in the skies, Sleet and Hail were still speeding toward Broly. Hail’s sword was shaking in his sheath as Cell’s energy approached their location, though the Bounty Hunter himself was not worried. Casting a glance to the approaching barrage, he slowed his pace and deviated from course while Sleet continued onward toward Broly’s window. The sheathed blade suddenly started glowing, ignited by a flaming red aura that was apparently the hunter’s own. Though his face showed nothing, it would be clear to any that this was something that did not take him much effort.

As his blade continued to glow, his right hand hesitantly withdrew it while he continued to fly at a slower pace. Turning the reflective edge of the sword toward the approaching blade of energy, he placed it before his chest and consolidated his grip on the hilt with both hands; though covering the blade had not taken him much effort, this certainly would. Steeling himself and steadying his hands, the man waited for Cell’s Lightning Shower to make contact, preparing to rend the attack in two.

Several shards of energy made contact with an invisible wall of energy at the end of the man’s blade, dissipating and fading in a series of sparks and bursts of light. Though it may have been hard to tell from Cell’s distance, Hail was slowly taking in the energy Cell had launched in his direction, preparing to retaliate with a blow of his own. He was not one to be taken out with such ease, he was not one to fall for ambush tactics. Though he was not the sharpest, he was certainly near that title.

As the barrage completely faded, his body swirled forward through the air, his red blade glowing with Cell’s energy. It danced and surrounded his blade as the man focused his own energy into refocusing the creature’s blast. As his body’s elaborate spin came to a close, his blade cut through the air in a manner best considered ominous, releasing the same barrage Cell had unleashed in his direction, but turned against it’s master. However, something about this looked...Off; it was brighter, and apparently more powerful because of it. It was clear that this man was no average warrior; at the very least, he had a rather special trick.

Meanwhile, Sleet was continuing toward Broly’s window, his hand cocked back at his waist as he charged a rather foreboding orb of energy within his fingertips. Unfortunately for him, Broly was able to sense the amassing energy; he was also able to see the violet glow from his window. Snarling now as his hand pushed through the glass, Broly leveled it at his approaching opponent. Almost immediately afterward, an emerald ball of light was crackling and resisting his control. Flexing his fingertips to control the power of his blast, the Saiyan took careful aim.

The blast ripped through his window and raced toward Sleet with lethal intent. The Changeling’s eyes narrowed as the blast ripped toward him, and quickly extended his hand forward. Gritting his hidden teeth as he flew forward and released his own attack toward Broly’s, the bounty hunter silently assessed his opponent’s power. Broly was very adept at hand to hand combat, according to all reports; unfortunately, his ranged power had never been successfully assessed before. Most reporters had died or been killed before they could file his ratings away.

His energy met with the Saiyan’s in a brilliant flash of color, illuminating the trees and evaporating falling rain before it could touch the ground. Though his wave was not quite overwhelming his opponent’s, the changeling continued forward, slowed by the difficulty of maintaining his ground in the struggle. He would force Broly’s blast back with his physical prowess, and if he could manage it, he’d slip off to the side in time to fire a second.

Unfortunately for Sleet, that chance was not to come. Broly, upon seeing that his blast had not outright overwhelmed his opponent’s had placed his other hand in front of his chest, extended out toward the right half of the collision. As the changeling’s body dipped off to the side and Broly’s wave went flying off into the sky, a second blast tore its way through the air, intent on tearing Sleet to shreds. However, the creature was far too intelligent for that. As Broly’s feet were being forced across the floor from recoil, Sleet’s arms were crossing over his chest and face, slowly covering his entire body in a violet sphere of protective energy.

He could only hope it would not overwhelm him as easily as it had others.

Broly, as one may expect, was hoping for the exact opposite. He was not quite feeling at the top of his game; it was not shocking that they would choose now to attack him. It was never shocking, the way a predator stalked wounded prey; it was just unfortunate for this pair that they had come across such a tenacious creature to hunt. Broly was not one to take a hit to his power just because he was feeling a little under the weather. Sure, it may dull his senses and reduce his fighting ability, but he was still about as destructive as ever.

He could only wonder if the creature protecting him was equally destructive. If it wasn’t, odds were it would be consumed in that arc-like shower of energy exploding toward it. Or at least, that was where he assumed the barrage was headed. It was probably that fucking bug. He had taken a liking to the Lightning Shower.

”Bug, you better not expect gratitude for this...”, he mumbled as he watched his blast impact Sleet’s barrier.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Cell 6/24/2012, 11:57 pm

Cell watched as the Changling continued on without giving him a thought. That was absolutely infuriating, he'd have to be sure to torture that mother fucker before he put his tail in his heart and ate him. Who the hell did he think he was? Some god who could ignored an attack meant to pierce him? Ignorance, and he would show him how foolhardy that was. He would revel in causing him pain.

For the mean time, it seemed the red warrior wanted to try to kill him. How impudent and arrogant, to try to beat perfection in the making. He watched as his attack tore through the air and rain to kill the target. He wanted to end this asshole quickly as well. If he did not Broly might very well kill the other one. That would mean he couldn't torture him, and that would be unfortunate. After all, he could make his face twist into an expression of ultimate agony before tossing his severed head into the fire. He had come to enjoy that tradition of this very fucked up 'family' or group.

Unfortunately for him, this creature had different idea's and apparently some talent. He seemed to have the intent of removing from the family and life itself. He watched closely as he saw each needle of ki being dispersed and the energy gathered around the sword. Cell would have smiled if he could. This thing wanted to fight him in a battle of absorption?

How foolish. He was Cell, he was made to absorb not just the human race, but any creature he found useful in his quest for perfection. He thought to himself about how the ability he had just seen was used. He could see it had flaws, it required certain conditions. To most the creature wasn't exerting any energy or effort at all, but Cell knew differently.

One way to absorb a persons ki was to subdue your own and then fill the empty space with theirs. It seemed as if this creature used a variation of that. Physically it was effortless, but mentally it required focus.

"He may need that sword for a focusing point, I should try to disarm or destroy that weapon first chance. Perhaps I can even stab the red bastard in the stomach before I eat him." His inner monologue being done, he watched as the red warrior swung the sword and sent his own attack back at him. It was obvious however that he had infused his own energy into them. They were glowing brighter and moving faster. However, he made a critical mistake in this manuever. After all, his own ki was still inside the needles. If he wanted he could simply divert them to the side and not take a bit of damage. However, he had a better idea. He had learned something from another demon he had killed. It seemed fitting to use it against his own brethren.

He held both hands out in front of him, making a barrier of absorption. It took some effort, but nothing too taxing. He simply needed to focus. It was an invisible technique, but it worked wonders. He had experienced it first hand. The attack itself was not Cell's originally. He stole it when he ate a demon who was trapped inside the mirror he and Sairai had destroyed. He briefly wondered where that black sheep had gone off to. He would have to try to find him as soon as possible, to check on his progress.

The needles came rushing in. His own energy dissipated immediately into his body, while the demonic aura of the others struggled for a moment. Soon that energy was inside him as well. Not a scratch on him, but something else changed. The grass around them had turn into a metallic-glass like substance. It had a strange sheen to it. He spoke as he readied himself for this.

"You want to try to beat me in a match of absorption? You must be a demon, only our kind and my kind can do such things...though I'm the only on of my kind anyways. Let me show you the proper way to use an opponents attack against them." He said, his voice deep and raspy as always. Filled with hate and malice that seemed to exude from him at all times. It made sense, since he hated just about every damn thing.

He tensed up for a moment as he activated the attack. The metallic glass on the ground shattered and sprayed into the air. They subtly surrounded his opponent. It appeared useless at first, until he showed him exactly how bad of an idea it was to fuck with him and his food.

The Shards stopped mid air. Hundreds of them surrounding his opponent, the red demon with the sword. Some where close enough that if he moved a mere five inches they would press onto his skin. Only a moment passed before the attack began in earnest. It felt as if it was the moment just ebfore a hurricane slammed into your home. There was a roaring in your ears and brain to run. To save yourself, but knowing it would be fruitless. Cell was not a hurricane, he was a killer. Still, this attack was quite fear inducing, and so matched the analogue.

From each and every shard of glass, the lightning shower shards began spraying outwards in random arcs. However, due to the nature of the surrounded opponent, dodging was nearly impossible. This time, each shard was three times the original strength. The demon had charged them to be stronger, and so did Cell. They now packed enough power to cut through a foot of reinforced steel and still embed themselves inches into solid bedrock. Cell was curious to see how he would survive this, or if he would survive at all. He had heard demons had two lives...and he was eager to see if it was true.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Broly 6/28/2012, 1:34 pm

Broly watched with bitter interest as Sleet’s shielded body plowed its way forward, forcing back his wave foot by damning foot. It was not altogether common for anything to survive Broly’s initial attack, let alone do it with such impudence. He could not actually remember the last time someone had managed to survive his assault so soundly, something that displeased him greatly. Broly’s memories of slaughter were vast and varied, and yet; this creature, likely because of its heritage and transformed state, was managing to thwart him early on. Narrowing both eyes, the Saiyan scowled and slowly pulled his hand back to his body, allowing it to hang, fingers clenched, at his waist.

His eyes were narrowed and filled with an inner fire rarely seen in mortal men. As sparks of emerald energy diffused around his finger tips, a new fire erupted from the base of his feet before spreading through the air, feeding voraciously on the oxygen in order to explode around the Saiyan in a rush of wind and heat. He would destroy this disrespectful changeling and then go investigate the other creature, who seemed to have his hands full. Though normally he would simply destroy them both at the same time, something about this creature was bothersome enough to warrant his full attention; something that said creature would most definitely come to regret.

As the fog over his mind continued to hum gently, the warrior’s mind slowly filled with a dull static. Energy was flowing from his every pore, slowly easing the tension in his muscles. His eye sight slowly faded in and out, blackened tendrils tugging at the peripheries of his vision as he locked on to the creature; the energy around his body slowly changed hue, fading from emerald to a dark green-gold mixture, one that suggested an incoming storm. The shattered shards of glass at his feet slowly lifted from the flooring, surrounding the Saiyan as his jaw clenched and his power began to climb.

Muscles expanded and grew as strands of his hair began to lift, changing in color from black to a bright bluish-purple mixture. The floor beneath him quaked and rumbled as Sleet’s body continued to approach, apparently unaware of the danger that lay in wait inside of the mansion; it was clear that he could not sense power levels. The other warrior must’ve revealed Broly’s position to him, then. His scowl growing more ferocious by the minute, the Saiyan’s body suddenly released a gunshot-like crack as it expanded one more time, his muscles and his energy reaching their full height. At this strength, he was easily twice the power of the insect and powerful enough to handle whatever came his way.

The creature flew through his window, beady eyes narrowed and fixed on the Saiyan’s eerily still figure. Broly was at the far end of his room, a distance that would take but milliseconds to travel. Unfortunately, that chance was never quite had.

Broly’s body sprang forward, tearing up floorboards in its wake. Shards of wood and glass exploded around him at all sides, His fist slammed with force into the Changeling’s face, sending it flying back through the window it had originally emerged from and permitting Broly a follow up strike. His form blurred and shook as it disappeared into thin air, his speed obscuring him with a protective haze; he was not going to fuck about with this thing. Not too much, anyway; he would destroy it on his own terms and illustrate the point he was attempting to illustrate, and then he would end it like he had all of the other bothers in his life.

Sleet’s body flew backward with significant force and speed, but Broly was far faster. He re-materialized behind the Changeling with a straightened back, allowing the creature a chance to save himself. When Sleet slammed off of his chest and bounced forward, he quickly turned, his fist coming across toward Broly as if he were back handing him; the attack itself was petty enough, but the strength behind it was little more than humiliating. The Saiyan brought his left wrist up in order to block the strike, allowing it too to bounce off of his body fully before striking in return.

His clenched fist rose upward in a sharp uppercut, undoubtedly forcing blood to fly from the creature’s concealed mouth as he was rocked backwards. Had Broly not struck again, it was very apparent that the creature would’ve been content to slowly drift away; unfortunately, fate and Saiyan bloodlust were not kind to Changelings. Fists striking like vipers, the Saiyan warrior unleashed a relentless flurry of lightning fast blows upon his opponent; it was clear that he was striking with a determinable malice, a clear distaste for something different than himself evident in each strike.

He was not in the best of moods, and this thing was not fucking helping.

Meanwhile in another portion of the sky, Hail was having a less than perfect time. Cell’s shards were surrounding him as his teeth slowly ground together, showing his distaste for the situation he had managed to get himself into. It was easily apparent to him that this was not the outcome he had originally expected to achieve by reflecting the attack back at his opponent, though he knew that this would not kill him. As the shards suddenly collapsed in around him, the demon let them come, his body curling into a defensive ball as shard after shard slammed into an invisible barrier around his skin.

Slowly they amassed, forming a field several feet wide around his body; each shard was tingling and shaking as he struggled to keep them still, intent on building up pressure. Should he handle this poorly, things were not going to go his way. Thankfully, he was a bit more cautious than Sleet. He knew to keep things in check until he could confirm that they were going his way, to monitor his progress and that of his opponent’s. He also knew how to regulate his ki much better, though this coming shockwave was about to be fairly massive.

His body exploded outward in a sky-illuminating flash of light, sending each shard flying away from his body and soaring in all directions around him. His breath was ragged and his eyes were bloodshot from the extreme effort he had exerted in doing so, but he knew that this was not over yet; he had much further to go. As several shards fell toward the Earth below, the Demon swung his blade through the air with a crisp slicing motion, sending an arc-like wave of energy down toward the creature who had retaliated. This attack was capable of severing limbs and removing a man from his large intestine; surely it would be enough to do away with such a petty creature.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Khaos 7/16/2012, 4:21 pm

Khaos hadn't been back on the earth long, but he knew he had to explore more. When he had died he could feel a powerful entity in the distance, as well as wanting to find out more on that strange bug like creature he had fought briefly. So prior to Kami's trial beginning he lifted of of the look out with out a sound, allowing his ki to flow freely through and around him, causing him to lift off. He made sure not to disrupt the conversation going on. He had decided he wanted to investigate the energy source first.

He lifted straight skyward, his ki barely noticeable, even if you were searching for him. Khaos immediately flew in the direction he had least felt the power from, it was west of Kami's Look out. Khaos knew that the direction was West City, and a lot of woodlands, he had never explored the region, except for that cave with the insect like being inside of it. That battle he wouldn't likely forget, the creature had no energy signature at all, and felt absolutely evil. The tail was something he hadn't expected nor would want to face again.

His mind lost in thought the miles he traveled were unnoticed, soon he was beyond West City. Three distinct energy signatures snapped him back to reality, one he recognized as the powerful entity he had felt previously, but the other two were foreign. Instantly and with little effort, he completely hid his power signature. He slowly flew over the pine forest letting his eyes search for the holders of the power he was feeling, it wasn't long before in the distance he spotted two beings.

They were floating in the sky, one was surrounded by what appeared to be sparkling shards of glass. The move was new to Khaos, but the creature who had used it wasn't. Even from the distance that Khaos was, there was no mistaking the green being for the one he had discovered inside the cavern. This peaked Khaos interest even further, but what completely roped him in was the fact that below he could see what appeared to be a mansion of some sort, with some commotion coming from it as well. As a matter of fact the other two energy signatures were coming from inside of it.

"This should be interesting" he thought to himself.

Khaos decided to land on a cliff that was overlooking the mansion, he decided to remain unseen as he landed, so he ducked into some bushes and just watched the being's in the sky fight it out. The shard like things looked like they were about to converge onto the being they had surrounded when suddenly, a Shockwave attack was let loose, that completely obliterated the shards. Although the green insect like creature was outside of the blast radius.

Immediately the creature that had released the attack flew away, he was directed towards the cliff, this caused Khaos' heart pace. Suddenly the sound of wood splintering could be heard, then another being was able to be seen flying towards the cliff as well. One of the beings looked similar to one that Khaos had faced before, except his coloration was off completely. The other looked like a small demon, carrying a black sword that seemed to crackle.

The duo met up mid-flight and made a direct line towards the cliff, once there they landed on it and Khaos was able to see that both were well armored, and didn't even seem the slightest out of breath. The two were conversing in a low whisper, and Khaos couldn't make out what was being said, but he decided not to wait and find out if they would notice him. He decided to act instead of be a sitting duck, quietly he snuck out of the bush, being careful to mask his movements with the rustling wind, or a crash of thunder.

He inched his way up behind the shorter demon like of the two creatures. The larger one would have been a better target but it's tail kept swooshing to and fro behind it, making it impossible to get close enough to unleash Khaos' most powerful attack. Khaos knew that he wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell against the two at one time, his only hope was to kill or incapacitate one with a single attack, that way he could concentrate his effort on the remaining one.

As he slowly closed the difference, he started to allow his spirit energy to pool into his right hand. The hand was glowing a mixture of a red and a charcoal color by the time he reached the demon like being. The entire time Khaos had been being careful to keep his energy masked to not give his presence away. When he was close enough, he swiped his hand upward, releasing his ki in a razor sharp blade of ki, the blade was more than strong enough to slice through the demonic entity like a hot knife through butter.

The blade connected the back of his target rending his flesh and severing his spinal column and chord, instantly killing him. The demon's blood hit the ground and spread into a large puddle as it pooled. The changeling next to the now dead target, noticed almost immediately, it didn't help that the demon let out a blood filled gurgle as it drew it's final breath.

The attention of the white and purple being turned towards Khaos, what appeared to be a sick and demented smile curled onto it's lips. Then almost too quick to notice, it's tail lashed out at Jeraph, swiping at his head. The muscular appendage swung through the air like a giant club, and connected with Jeraph's head with a sickening thud. Then the tail pulled back, the being then lashed out with it's fist, and tried to connect with Khaos' chest.

Luckily for Khaos the tail had struck with such force it had caused him to stumble to the side, this made the second blow miss wildly. Unfortunate for the hybrid, the blow to the head had left him slightly disorientated. It took him several moments to shake loose the cobwebs left over from the blow.

"You WILL pay for that" Jeraph's angelic voice rang out from the cliff top.

As Jeraph spoke the white and purple changeling sprung into another attack sequence, this time, it struck with a massive flurry of fists, then followed it up with twin ki blasts. Khaos timed his blocks well and managed to negate most of the fists, but the two ki blasts his his flesh and caused it to char and burn slightly. The smell of charred flesh filled the air. To most human's the smell would be sickening but to Khaos it ignited something inside of him. The concussion he had suffered plus the burned flesh sent his souls over their limits.

Khaos voice rang out again this time it was a demon like growl.

"We are going to die AGAIN if you don't listen to me" he said to himself it seemed.

"No We won't" the angelic voice countered.

This argument rang out several times, each time getting louder and louder. The changeling started looking on confused, and stopped moving all together. The smile faded from it's lips, and was replaced with a look of disgust. It couldn't understand what was going on with the hybrid standing before it. That's when all hell broke loose. Khaos turned to face the creature, and with the voices melded into one yelled "screw it".

Immediately after the words were screamed ki energy escaped Khaos' mouth and formed what appeared to be ghosts and surrounded the changeling. Almost immediately a Cosmic Cannon launched at the changeling from Khaos' left hand, his right hand arched upward and release a Slicing Attack. Finally it was followed by a Spirit Sword, the sword pierced directly through the targets chest, immediately followed by the convergence of the rest of the attacks. The attack was more than the changeling could handle, and it was immediately killed, the Kamikaze attack, and slicing attack were just the icing on the cake, more like over kill.

Immediately after the sword pierced the changeling's chest it disappeared and Khaos passed out. In his mind he replayed the days events. The single strike kill, and the ensuing battle.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Broly 7/17/2012, 8:48 am

Broly watched with satisfaction as the pair retreated, both clearly under the impression that they had bit off a little more than they could chew. That was the hazard of attacking the Legendary Super Saiyan; who wanted to tangle with power eternal? Cackling, the purple haired warrior crossed both arms over his chest, his knuckles cracking from the power that was welling up inside of them. He was easily capable of overwhelming at least one of them at this point; or, so he felt. Broly was not one to suffer the annoyance that came with dealing with the weak, but he was a sadist.

He would let them feel safe, he would grant them a moment of safety before he destroyed the pair of them. He had to admit, it wasn’t polite to play with your prey; but no one had ever really made the effort to teach him proper manners. Or rather, no one had ever taught him manners that had sunken into his subconscious. While he could likely fit in somewhat well with the uppercrust members of society, why would he want to? Humans were already weak, and those with material power seemed to fill that mold even more so.

They entrusted their protection to the physically powerful, those with volition and determination. Unfortunately, all of the will power in the world would not protect against a force of nature like Broly. He did not enjoy letting weaklings live, he did not letting those weaker than himself survive in his galaxy, as the men below were soon to find out; or, so it had originally seemed. Something appeared to be developing down below, originating from a new arrival who appeared to be stalking the conversing pair.

This new arrival was creeping up behind them as they argued, likely debating what course of action to take next. He couldn’t blame them, really; he was a frustrating opponent to have to do battle with. Then again, fighting only to lose must’ve been frustrating in general. It should’ve been impossible for them to harbor aspirations of victory at that point, after all. After witnessing the ever-growing power that was Broly, what chance did they possibly hope to have?

Suddenly, the arrival sprang forth; his blade poised to kill the warrior whom had originally attacked the insect. Raising a brow, Broly slowly lowered his body through the air to observe the ensuing chaos. As it appeared to happen, the changeling noticed the first kill with what was probably a mixture of rage and general displeasure. It brought a grin to Broly’s face, to see such killing force channeled into one strike; it wouldn’t shock him when this man overwhelmed the second opponent.

However, it appeared that the changeling was a little more formidable than his partner. The fight was unfolding beneath his eyes, which seemed indifferent to the plight of either warrior; however, he could observe that these two clashing powers were deeply interested in the death of their opponent. That was good; it was boring to watch two uninterested foes, two foes who lacked passion, face off. The fact that these two were already moderately powerful made the situation all the more interesting.

As Broly made it to ground level, the fresh fighter’s blade pierced his opponent’s chest, forcing the changeling’s final breath before evaporating. For a moment, the Saiyan thought he was merely being conservative; but, it appeared that this man had needed the energy to remain conscious. At least, that was what he gathered from the sudden fall to the side as his blade dissipated into sparks of energy and heated oxygen. For another, more tense moment, Broly considered letting him fall.

However; as much as he hated to admit it, this man had offered him assistance. He had not attempted to attack Broly from behind in the middle of the battle, he had not attempted to destroy the insect while he was busy with the sworded one. Grudgingly, this man was responsible for helping him in a time of trial. Few others had extended him that courtesy. Hell, his own father had cast him aside as easily as trash, after figuring out that Broly’s power could not be controlled.

This man was already on what could be considered his ‘good’ side, not that much about Broly was worth considering as morally ‘good’ in the first place. The Saiyan’s morals were suspect as a general rule, not to mention the skew that had been placed on him by insanity and his upbringing, which was sketchy in and of itself. However, to let this man die; to let him struggle for existence...It was too much like how he had lived.

So, as Broly begrudgingly landed beside his body, the Saiyan determined that he would assist him. Of course, nothing in life was free; and things were prone to spiralling desperately out of control. It was for this reason that this being’s survival would be on a trial basis. While yes, he had managed to aid the Saiyan and his cohort, he had not proven his trustworthiness in the slightest. As a general rule, Broly was not one to take trust for granted or trust beings on the basis that they aided him in a minor way.

After all, he’d have killed both creatures eventually. Still, he hesitantly threw Khaos over his shoulder; perhaps the bug would know this one.

”Insect, have you seen this one before?”, somewhere in his database or from personal experience; Broly cared not. All would, as all tended to, be revealed in time.

Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly) Empty Re: Killing Sympathy (Cell & Broly)

Post by Cell 7/29/2012, 12:14 am

Cell swiftly landed next to Broly. He seemed quite displeased with the situation all around. He took a few steps closer to Broly, looking at the body of the demon that Jeraph had felled, and then the ashes of the other. He thought to himself, once again in a bitter mood " Damn it, if I had killed that little bastard last time I wouldn't have had to lose my prey to him this time. I'll just kill him later" He said as he took a few steps past the red demons body.

"Yeah, I do know him. I also know you better do a better job of guarding the place, dog." his voice raspy and filled with malice as always. "His name is Jeraph...and Khaos. He is, some type of hybrid between demons and something more benevolent. I've never encountered the other half of his heritage in anyone other than Ryouji. If what he says is true, then this guy is half demon, and half shin." He said, being more long winded than usual. He did find this guy interesting if nothing else.

"Because of that, from what I can tell from my fight with him and the battle that he just barged into, the two sides are mostly fractured from one another. He is not the most sane individual...which is probably ironic coming from me." He said, making the realization right after speaking on this mans heritage.

It was then that Cell felt it. Just a bit, it was almost none existent, but it had been there. The spark of life had come back into the demons body. Looking at Broly, he had not noticed this, which was bad considering the proximity made him the first target. Cell watched as he could see the muscles in the demons body begin to twitch very subtly in preparation for an attack against his comrade. For the briefest of moments he considered letting the demon attack.

It would not be hard to feign innocence if Broly was not severely hurt to where he could consume him. However, that would deprive Cell of the battle, it would deprive him of watching the eyes of his comrade go wide in disbelief as the green monster took the life from him. He decided against it.

He surged forward randomly, or at least it would seem random to Broly. The demon came up quickly, his sword drawn back and ready to strike. If he connected, Broly could have easily lost his arm and shoulder. Next it likely would have been khaos. Though, it should be noted that firstly he did particularly care for Khaos. He knew the large Saiyan was not slow or dim-witted exactly, he was a battle hardened veteran, but he also knew that his built up muscular structure could slow his reaction time. That was not something that could be afforded to bet on right now.

He moved past Broly and in the next instant, the demon would stop in it's tracks. It's eyes wide with pain and surprise. "He also doesn't seem to be very good at finishing a job." As Broly looked over, he would see Cell had shoved not only his hand, but most of his arm through the demons abdomen. His tail rose up slowly, a strange dripping down being heard as the demons blood splattered heavily against the ground. The needle point of his tail pierced it's way into the demons neck.

Slowly the demons form became very thin and aged. A moment later the very skin of the demon would be gone. Cell had, however, made sure to leave the skull intact. He had removed his hand from the demons belly as he was eating him, and placed it on his head. He then spoke with his strange voice "Do what you will with that being in your care, but I plan to kill him eventually."

He then held out the skull to him and spoke once more " There, for your fire."
