You've learned of Kami, the chosen Guardian of Earth, who is also a renowned warrior and teacher. Wishing to see if he would take you as his pupil, you decide to ascend to Kami's Lookout, which lies far above Korin's Tower, in the clouds. Upon arriving you are greeted by a robust black genie who tells you his name is Mr. Popo. Mr. Popo is very polite to you and a very generious host. However, he wishes to test your skills before he permits you to speak to the Guardian Kami. All you have to do is land a punch. Beware, despite his jovial appearance, Popo is a fearsome warrior.

Yamcha was on roshi's island listening to his Master. "You have done well, not winning a tournament means you must train harder. Now I want you to go and seek out Kami, there is also outpost of planet vegeta scientist testing saibamen, i want you to go there and warm up on the saibamen. They have transporters so they can teleport you to the lookout."

Yamcha nodded and was on his way

Yamcha was then greeted by a Xeno who was floating in the air over an island. "You, your Yamcha, I'm a guard for the scientists of vegeta who have decided to come to earth." Yamcha smirked. "I'd like to see your progress."

Yamcha and the Xeno landed in front of the capsule outpost and walked in. Some Xenos meet them, "So you found someone for the field test, take him to the sparring room."

As Yamcha was directed to the sparring room, he wondered when night would come. "Now we made some breakthroughs here, we have 3 new saiba men, one bronze, one silver and one gold." It said over the speaker, "Now the bronze saiba." A bronze saibaman appeared in the room.

Yamcha readied himself, the saiba shot forward throwing down, Yamcha dodged and when he found an opening launched a energy punch to the saibaman's face. The saibaman flew back a bit and Yamcha checked his fist wondering how tough these saibamen really are. He then gathered energy but jumped as the saibaman launched acid at him. He dodged and faded from view and refaded behind him with an axe kick to the back.

The saibaman put his arms as an X over his head to block the attack. Yamcha repelled off him while gathering energy and fired a twin blast at the bronzed saibaman, the saibaman got hit as he blocked, smoke came all about the saibaman. Yamcha shot through the smoke with a flaming knee to the chest of the saibaman who spat up blood and dropped to the ground, the saibaman then spat out a ki blast from his mouth and Yamcha deflected it back to the saibaman who got hit and was blocking. The saiba then shot forward with a flying kick which went through Yamcha's afterimage technique. Yamcha then palm struck the saiba in the chest sending him flying to the wall. Yamcha chased after him and preformed a technique called machine gun fist which was rapid fast punches with the speed of a machine gun. He then grabbed the saiba at the shoulder blades and roared as he powered up and ripped the saibaman in half.

"Wow, that was the weakest of the saibamen we have Yamcha" The dead saibaman disapeared from view. The speaker now sounding again, "now we're sending out the silver saibaman who is 5 foot 6." Another saiba comes out all silver. Yamcha then unsuppressed his ki so he'd be at 75% full power and took a defensive stance. The saibaman shot forward with rapid punches which Yamcha blocked while attacking.

They then shot back and Yamcha was charging energy. The saibaman shot forward throwing kicks and jabs which Yamcha was blocking, then he preformed a front kick which winded the saibaman and yelled. "Wolf fang fist!!"

He shot forward, a wolf then appeared claws forward as Yamcha started kicking the saibaman numerous times in his chest, then a wolf's mouth went for his ankle which was his hand, he then slammed the ground 5 times with the silver saibaman. He then threw him up into the air, and darted to where he was going to fall and with his fist, made him fly again with the saibaman flying back up into the air from the sliding fist.

Then he volleyed the saibaman as he fell again and shot up above him and attempted to spike him. The saibaman got hit by the spike and fell to the ground on his back. Charging some energy, he shot down. His knees landed a critical blow on the saibaman torso. The saibaman coughed a bit and slowly got back to his feet

The silver saibaman began to glow and got back up. "Wow your tough." Yamcha shot forward, using twin finger strike to hit the saibaman but he was countering with his claws. The two fought hard until Yamcha found an opening and shot his twin finger strike to his shoulder which caused massive pain to the saibaman.

He then grabbed the saibaman and began to headbutt it, he kept going until the saibaman's blood was on Yamcha's forehead. The silver saibaman died from the brutality of Son Fearless Yamcha, a man came into the room and took the two dead saibamen for study and went back to where he came from, Yamcha replenished his ki as the speaker came overhead. "Wow, now the golden saibaman, you might wanna power up for this."

The golden saibaman appeared and Yamcha sensed it's energy. (Wow, it's strong...) He then gathered his energy and began to transform, his hair turned silver with ears like inuyasha and his hands were now claws.

The saibaman shot forward and Yamcha jumped up a bit and sent 4 kicks to his chest and a flash kick to the chin, he then cupped his hands to his hip, gathering energy real fast and launched a kamehameha at the saibaman.

The kamehameha ripped towards the saibaman who blocked. An explosion was heard and as smoke came about the saibaman, he shot down with a punch for Yamcha.

Yamcha dodged to the left and headbutted the saibaman in his side. The saibaman was hurt but not beaten. Yamcha readied himself for the next attack, the saibaman then fired a ki blast which Yamcha slapped away.

Yamcha then ran at the saibaman launching punches and kicks which the saibaman took while blocking. Knowing this wasn't going anywhere, he preformed a sweep and kicked him up into the air. He then put his hands in triangle shape aiming for the saibaman and launched a tribeam which hit and an explosion was heard.

The saibaman fell to the ground blocking. He got up only to get a knee to the face and a karate chop to the throat, the saibaman coughed a bit and was wobbly. Yamcha fired a ki wave from each palm at the wobbly golden saibaman who was too weak to block. As the blast hit a scream was heard from the golden saibaman as he dropped to the ground, weak and beaten. "That's it!" The voice over the speakers said."That's all we needed from you...we'll keep researching the saibamen."

Yamcha asked, "How can i meet kami?" The Xero led Yamcha to the room of teleporters. "The one i'm pointing at will put you right on the place we know as Kami's Lookout." he said as yamcha stepped in the teleporter.

He began to feel strange then everything went white, within seconds he was on the lookout.

Yamcha looked around, he saw flowers and a palace on this lookout. "Sweet, what a nice set up." He then spots a black skinned being with a white turban watering flowers. Yamcha decided to walk towards him.

"Hello sir." Yamcha greeted the man who just stopped watering his plants and turned to face him. "Oh hello stranger, i see you've trained with the north kaioshin, and master roshi and your ascended." Yamcha responded. "How do you know those things?" Mr Popo replied, "Kami told me, he told me you'd come here to seek his training, but first i have to test you." Yamcha frowned. "And what does this test include?"

Mr Popo spoke. "Its a simple test, just touch me once." Yamcha dived forward and Mr Popo darted back. Yamcha ran at him with 4 straight jabs to Mr Popo who was dodging each one. "Your going to have to do better then that Yamcha." Mr Popo said to the young human master.

Yamcha then used speed boost to move faster and came in from below, but Popo jumped up into the air causing yamcha's movement to be a waste of energy. [i]Dear god, he's so fast, and it's hard to breath up here.[i] Yamcha quickly thought to himself.

The human warrior used power up flight to shoot up and with his right fist clenched attempted to preform a rising uppercut. But Popo leaned out of the attack and floated back to the ground.

Yamcha was getting tired and floated back to the ground. "what is this...the air is so thin, i can barely breath..." He said outloud. He looked tired and Popo was moving closer.

Yamcha had to think of something quick or he won't be training with kami, he fired a ki wave from his left hand behind him to give him more speed and was rocketing right towards Mr popo who blocked his chest from the headbutt.

Yamcha just growled, "Damn it, i'm too tired..." Mr Popo smiles. "You beat me, you made me touch you. You got skills and potencial, i hereby grant you the privilage to train with kami."

Yamcha jumped up yelling. "YES!" then curled into a ball as he was falling. He landed on the lookout infront of Mr Popo feet first and was escorted inside the palace to meet the kami.
