Frost vs Broly Empty Frost vs Broly

Frost found himself traversing through a forested area, and looked at the environment, taking in every detail. He looked over to the right to see a pond with a small waterfall, and deer drinking from it river that flowed from it. He saw many small animals, such as rabbits and squirrels and birds. While the trees were many, they weren't too clustered to be able to see a nice distance away. They could definitely be used as cover for a small guy like him, however. Either way, he was set on following the small dirt path he was currently walking along, hoping to find a town soon.

Frost felt like this was a strange place. All this color, these creatures. This life in general was new to him. After being encased in ice for the better part of 20 years, of which he was semi conscious almost the entire time, if felt strange to have company in his midst. Not to mention just the new sights. On that icy planet, all you saw was snow, so all you saw was white, maybe hints of blue. Then he found that ship and crashed here, and BOOM! Greens and blues and reds in the evening! This place almost gave him a headache from all the new senses he was using. But it was a welcome change from before. He felt awkward in the fact that he had never met anybody else. He happened to find an old cabin a ways back, and learned some English from a radio. But never interacting socially made him a bit apprehensive...

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/21/2012, 6:59 pm

Broly glanced down at the forestry below, pondering on the power he could feel inside of it. While the strength itself was not too impressive, it was still stronger than the majority of the human population. He took a peek at the horizon line, where he could feel his ally's power level resting. Ryouji was probably doing something relaxing; reading a book, eating. Stupid, conventional human things like that. Surely, he wouldn't mind if the brute was a little late on his return trip? It wasn't as though he had something to report to. Besides, Broly hardly cared if he inconvenienced the child; Ryouji could hardly do any lasting damage to a warrior of his caliber.

Wispy tendrils of emerald light began to rise off of the Legendary Warrior's chest, as he slowly dropped through the canopy. The first thing he picked up was the stark contrast; the sky had been a blend of cerulean and blue, whereas this place was an entire menagerie of greens and reds, yellows and browns fusing together to make up the forestry. Some would have called it a flawless example of nature, the world at it's most peaceful. Broly called it sickening. He despised the planet Earth, and all of it's inhabitants. They had never treated him with anything but disdain or disrespect. It was partially for that reason that he called out to whatever creature that happened to possess power; to punish it and show it his displeasure.

"Come out, come out little insect! Show me where you are!"

Perhaps he had missed the Changeling for his... Diminutive stature. He didn't often deal with creatures of that height.

Frost heard the voice call out, which startled him a bit. He thought for a moment as to whether or not he should call back. But he decided in the end to just walk through the small bit of trees between them into the clearing. And his eyes widened quite a bit as he did so. Good GOD, what is this guy!? he thought to himself. The man he saw was extremely tall, and Frost felt a bit unnerved by this one. He couldn't quite sense power, but there was just an evil intent that poured out of this man that made him nervous, even more so then before. After a moment's hesitation, Frost quietly approaches the man, not yet speaking but making his presence known. He looks up and tilts his head, his body language asking what this behemoth wants from him.

Frost inspected this man a bit closer. Black hair running a bit past his shoulders, and a muscular body. Some sort of ornamental jewelry, gold bands set with gemstones, on his neck as will as his wrists. He had some sort of a red cloth tied around his waist, and big poofy white pants that ended in boots. He seemed by his expression to be a very angry individual, but one who enjoyed being a bully. That might explain the aura of bloodlust Frost naturally felt from him. After years of isolation, meeting such an intense man was awe-inspiring, actually. Not just his size, but the emotions this man displayed seemed extreme, and that spurred some sort of excitement in Frost that he never knew of.

OOC: Congrats on going up in WC; try to hit 300 Words this time! You got this!
--

"Oh, there you are. I should have known that a moth would be attracted to such a flame."

Broly turned to face the smaller being, tilting his head curiously as he assessed the threat associated with it. It wasn't as impressive as he'd been hoping; he'd been hoping for some kind of warrior-type. Not the prissy little alien that had appeared in the woodlands, almost overnight. Broly could feel his body trembling at the prospect of being mislead. Why did a being so small possess such power? It was completely illogical. Then again, the other Changeling had a power that rivaled the Saiyan's own. Was it their race, that allowed them such a benefit? In that way, they must have been the starkest of contrasts. Broly's power was unusual, by all standards; Saiyan or not.

"Are you the power I sense, little man?", he questioned the Changeling with a mixture of suggestions harbored in his tone. He was suggesting the onset of violence, the arrival of his rampage to this humble little forest. He was not afraid to attract stronger powers with his might, as he was of a strength that few would dare bother him. Cracking his knuckles at his waist, Broly grinned. To be precise, it was more of a smirk than anything else. A cocky display of his confidence and superiority, in prelude to the more violent show he was about to give the small child-looking creature at his feet. While he could not be sure exactly how old the thing was, he cared little. It may as well have been a child, for all the damage it seemed capable of doing.

Frost blinked as he took in this man's words and actions, his brow furrowing slightly. He was able to tell that the brute was mocking him, and that gave him an unhappy feeling. This must be anger, he thought to himself. He looked up at the man to see that smirk of his. It made him sick. So Frost nodded a little, and decided to speak for the first time.

"Yes, that's right... That would be me... And what would a big bad fellow like you want with me?"

His voice was quiet, but not scared. More calm then anything. He seemed to be largely emotionless in his tone of voice, and little emotion could be seen on his face as well, for that matter. He seemed to be calm to the point of being robotic. It wasn't confidence per se, but he just didn't really know how to be afraid or nervous or anything very well quite yet.

"You don't seem to be the type who's trying to go around and make friends. So tell me what you're here for, please." A faint smile could be seen on Frost's lips at that moment. He felt quite proud of himself for being able to speak with such little practice. He also rather liked his own voice. He was worried all that time being frozen would do damage to his vocal cords from disuse, but his voice was actually quite smooth, and slightly deeper then he imagined.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/21/2012, 8:25 pm

Broly listened to the little creature's words with apparent amusement. He could never call that weak little thing stupid, if it was smart enough to realize Broly's ill intent. Of course, he would have to have been stupid not to notice such a thing. Every inch of Broly's hulking frame suggested that he was anything but friendly, anything but kind and courteous (excluding Friendly, of course!). Examining the creature's armor suggested that it required such a thing; was he perhaps a part of the Planetary Trade? That itself was...remarkable. He hadn't heard of the Planet Trade since he fled from Vegeta, as a youth. Was this man the spearhead?

Or was he just a scout? In all honesty, Broly could admit that he had no idea where the little creature had come from, or what his intentions were. But he did know that he didn't like the look of the little bastard. Lifting his fingers up to his face, the warrior slowly placed his thumb and forefinger together. Leaks of emerald light began streaming in toward the point, compressing into a tiny burst of energy that was struggling to escape. His smirk grew wider, and his overall appearance more fierce. He was going to test this little thing, and see what exactly he was capable of. He had never had any dealings with the creature's kind that had ended well; that meant this would be a 'pleasant' change of pace.

"Let's see if I enjoy playing with you, Cold One. I won't want to play with a broken toy!", his words were broken up frequently by bouts of maniacal laughter, but audible and decipherable nonetheless. Broly flicked his fingers forward, releasing an invisible and bullet-like blast.

Post by Frost 4/22/2012, 11:56 am

Frost saw the maniacal look in this one's eyes, and saw him gather energy into his fingers, looking nervously up at him. As he might have guessed, this guy wanted to fight him. Which is to be expected with such a behemoth, after all. Especially one as openly sadistic as he. Frost saw him flick his finger, and quickly hopped back to dodge it. However, he didn't really understand the depths of this man's power, and as soon as that force hit the ground, it made a small but powerful explosion right there at Frost's feet, sending him back and doing a back flip in midair, before he landed on the forest floor on his back. He quickly shook it off and stood back up, however.

By this point, any of the forest's natural inhabitants were running to the hills for safety. Smart move on their part, to be honest. Frost wiped his mouth slowly on the back of his hand before spitting onto the ground. This man was a serious threat, he could tell. The first issue lies in that that attack didn't even hit him, and yet the force was still enough to throw him. And the second, more dire issue, is that he obviously put very little effort into it, and made it well known that he didn't. Choosing a flick as the form of attack... he was obviously trying to scare and/or humiliate Frost. Luckily, Frost really had no fear in this situation, since he didn't feel he had a purpose or something to live for. At least not yet. And if anything gave him an edge, he'd take it at this point.

"I can see I may have underestimated you... alright then."

Frost clenches his fist as he dashes forward and aims a punch straight for the massive man's abdominal section, hoping to do some damage.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/22/2012, 10:33 pm

Broly watched with interest as the little creature came zooming in toward him. How precious; he thought he was a threat. Once the creature reached his guard, Broly did little to actually defend himself. In the defense of the smaller creature, he likely had no idea what would happen once his fist made contact with the fighter's abdomen. It was even less likely that Broly had been expecting to feel actual, noticeable pain from the strike that was to slam directly into his gut. He had treated it too casually, with too little respect; that had been his most obvious fault.

Once the creature's fist sank into his stomach, Broly felt his body bend forward ever so slightly. The small, clenched hand slammed hard into his belly, but seemed to do little else. Though it was his fault, Broly was already becoming irritated by this little creature's insolence. Actually striking The Legendary Warrior? That was as insulting as insults came! Pissing upon his grave would have been less upsetting than having even a stinging amount of pain inflicted upon him. That was true, it felt like little more than a bee-sting, but that made the moment no less enraging.

As the creature's fist lingered, Broly's cocked back into the air. Snarling viciously as he took aim, the warrior fired out a rapid strike toward the top of the creature's skull. He was too small to hit directly, unfortunately for him. For the little one, it would surely seem like a boon. Pulling his fist back in from his first strike, Broly quickly released a flurry-like pair of blows from his other fist, hoping to send at least half of them directly into the little creature's head or face. Any target would have been equally pleasing for him, admittedly. It wasn't often he got to beat up on someone who was either remarkably fresh, or remarkably rusty.

"How dare you!"

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Frost 4/22/2012, 10:55 pm

Frost blinks in surprise. Huh, he thought. I honestly didn't expect that to do much, if any, damage, to be honest... And as he smiled a bit with pride, he looked up to see the angered man glaring down at him, then feel and hear a whoosh as the man tried to strike him! Luckily, since Frost was so much smaller, he was far more difficult to hit in this position. Lucky him, he'd rather not feel too much of this monster's fist on his head. Then as the man went for a flurry of attacks, Frost quickly slid under the man's legs, popping out behind him in an attempt to kick him in the back, hopefully using his own great weight, as well as his own velocity from his punching, to topple him over.

"Why are you mad at me?! You wanted to fight! I'd have thought you'd be more happy with me being even the slightest threat then being just another bug. Wouldn't it be worse then?"

He honestly didn't know what he was doing. He felt just about anything would be a smarter move, but he still felt compelled to try to reason with this angry, large man, no matter how futile any attempt may be.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/22/2012, 11:00 pm

Broly stumbled forward as the little creature kicked him in the back. He was clearly losing his patience with the little insect-like Changeling. Though he knew that the little creature was likely going all out against the warrior, he couldn't help but feel as though he was being looked down upon. That was even more frustrating an actually being hit, as hard to believe as the statement must have been. For Broly, a warrior who prided himself on efficiently dealing with threats like this, it was damn near rage inducing. He could only imagine the things he'd be doing to that little shit in the next few minutes, provided he wasn't interrupted.

"I don't want to fight; I want to fucking destroy!", the warrior shouted as he lunged forward across the ground to attack once more. This time he was moving at his full speed, his arm outstretched in an attempt to grab the little thing by the head. He wanted to lift it up into the air, he wanted to crack it's skull as though it were a nut in need of devouring. That was an admirable enough goal, surely; especially for a warrior of Broly's type and caliber. The thought was enough to bring a grin to his devilish face; though not a pleasant one by any means.

Frost gasps as he sees the charge the monster was making, his arm outstretched to grab him. Frost knew that if that thing got a hold of him, it would be trouble. He jumped up to try and leapfrog over the locomotive of a man, but unfortunately for the little blue changeling, being a giant didn't make him any slower or less coordinated. Frost felt his leg get grabbed by the giant man, and nearly went white with fear.

No! He has a hold on me! I gotta get out! I GOTTA GET FREE!

And with a sudden rush of both instinct and energy, Frost threw his hand up and back, over his shoulder, and charged a volatile amount of ki, super-heated and crackling with energy. As this power engulfed his hand, suddenly a rush of thoughts filled his head. All the taunting this man did, all the hatred he had for him, for no reason... it was upsetting to Frost... He felt himself grow angry now, and as this happened, the ball seemed to grow a little stronger, and he screamed as he slammed the ball of destructive force down into the back of the neck of the muscle-bound maniac, hoping it could connect, and that the resulting explosion would at least separate them, if not do any lasting damage to the hulking warrior.

Post by Broly 4/22/2012, 11:28 pm

The blast slammed down hard upon Broly's neck, forcing him to shudder as a wisp of smoke rose off of his body. He released the little one's leg, both from the shock of the energy blast and the fact that he had not been aiming for it in the first place. He had to admit; this little bastard was craftier than he appeared. Though he was not strong enough yet to do lethal damage to the warrior, he was certainly a dangerous creature to others, who would be weaker than Broly. It was obvious how it fit into the Earth's population, now. For some reason, though Earth's warriors were all freakishly powered (even by Saiyan standards), there were far less of them. This was clearly a member of such an illustrious number; the strong.

Turning around as he continued flying, Broly swept his hand across his chest in a dangerous flourishing motion. Emerald light began to amass in it's wake, slowly solidifying as it prepared to launch at his target. This was the Flash bomb; an attack aptly named. It was capable of going off with a moment's notice, requiring minimal effort on the part of it's user. These were the types of attacks Broly specialized in; rapid, dangerous and potentially fatal strikes. Though this probably wouldn't kill the little creature, it would likely do some damage. At the very least, his metaphorical feathers would be ruffled all to hell!

"Gragh! Try this one, then!"

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Frost 4/22/2012, 11:41 pm

Frost was panting by this point. It felt really satisfying, to be able to fight and sort of work off all that restlessness that had built up in that icy prison. Still, not having actually trained before meant he couldn't hold out at this level of fighting for much longer. He looked up at the man, and strangely enough, saw his face show his thought processes change. As if he wasn't quite as angry now, but more thoughtful. Though with Frost's lack of social experience, he knew he could quite easily be wrong. Either way, he saw the next attack be made ready, and when it suddenly came at him, he could do nothing more then to gasp and close his eyes, gritting his teeth as he tried to block, his arms crossed before him, the blasts sending him through a tree or two, much to his dismay. He fell to his knees and was shaking from the impact, dizzy, and trying to regain his composure. To him, right now, it felt like the whole world was spinning, he was definitely dazed. He shook his head a little and spoke, hoping maybe some conversation would buy him a little more time.

"Ugh... Cough What is it you want from me, exactly? To lose? To die? To entertain you? What?"

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/22/2012, 11:52 pm

Broly slowly let his hand draw back to his waist, as the smoke that had erupted off of his neck dissipated into the air. Listening to the changeling's words with little else on his mind, the warrior spat at the dirt below him as he came to a halt in the air. He could still vaguely hear the the blasts that had missed crashing through the trees in the distance, felling them with little actual effort. Broly's power was very destructive; things tended to fall or die whether or not he had actually intended them to do so. For example, he'd been targeting the small one, and yet here he had mostly taken out the treeline.

"I want something, Cold One. I want you to spark my interest, as the other does. Prove to me the might of your race, or prove to me your lack of worth.", the Saiyan's words sounded harsh...but he meant them. This Changeling was far different than the other one he knew; Sairai, the Softhearted. Though their personalities were equally docile, Sairai's power was bordering upon Broly's own (not for Broly's lack of trying). In fact, the Saiyan had just managed to overcome his unofficial rival, barely surpassing him in power. Even still, he could have sworn he felt the creature's strength growing on the horizon line, working to match the Legendary Warrior's. It was an interesting turn of events, really.

Though, Frost. He was far less interesting, far less powerful...but somehow, he still intrigued Broly, if only slightly.

"Tell me, insect. What is your name?", Broly spoke with the same amount of respect he always did, in his attempt to learn more about the creature. Broly was anything but respectful towards others.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Frost 4/23/2012, 12:04 am

Frost looked up, really quite astounded by the words he was hearing. For a man of such unyielding strength and aggression to actually consent to a conversation with his opponent... well, for some reason, it actually made him feel strangely special, and happy. He gathered his composure and caught his breath, letting his mind stop spinning before he got back to standing up, looking at the man before him with a smile.

"I don't have a real name... but if I had to give myself one..."

He thought about himself. About any defining characteristic he had. Of course his mind turned to that snowy place, and the more he thought on it, the more he enjoyed it.

"... Frost. You can call me Frost."

He smiled again, as if happy to have a name, like it gave him a sense of purpose and pride, like a title to wear.

"And may I ask your name?"

He looked up at the man, expecting a strong name for such a powerful fighter. Honestly, for all the carnage and pain he brought to Frost, he wanted to know more about this man. Befriending seemed like too strong a term, but at least making some sort of an alliance with him was a hopeful thought for him. The first benefit obviously being he'd be less likely to die, and the other being he'd have a strong ally if he needed it. And that is always a plus, especially in such a crazy world.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/23/2012, 12:13 am

Broly cracked his wrist, suddenly forcing it upward with a strong, swift motion. The noise rang out over the air, clearly audible over the sound of silence. Something about the sound was somehow more friendly to the warrior than the sound of the creature's voice. Broly hadn't heard another creature's voice in a while; at least, any creature that had managed to survive his wrath and emerge relatively unscathed. He had even managed to literally break the back of his Ally, a memory that was very vivid in his mind. He couldn't remember the last time he had emerged from a fight without a serious wound on someone's part. The thought of inflicting pain kept that temporary grin upon his features as he replied to the little creature, seemingly intent on unnerving him.

"You can call me...", he paused briefly. What could he say about his identity? In a way, he was chaos itself. In another, he was a Living Legend. To some warriors, he was the devil himself; so what would he tell this little fighter? He supposed he could say his actual name, the one he'd been given at birth. But even that was murky; though he was Broly, he was also called a terror. He was called a scourge, a blight upon the Saiyan Race, a disease on the universal scale. Pulling in a breath through his nose, the Saiyan noted the crisp, cool air. He would just go with what he knew, with what he'd always been told by the men who begged him for mercy before he killed them. Mercilessly.

"You can call me Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. The terror in Night Terror, before your eyes...Frost. How have you come to this planet, a little far from home, aren't you Changeling?"

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Frost 4/23/2012, 12:26 am

Frost listened carefully to his words, and blinked a bit in confusion as he sat down to rest up a bit. He thought about his words... Changeling. That must be what Frost was. And home? Did he mean the ice world?

"... That place was not home to me... I was frozen, and trapped... for a very long time. I finally broke out, and escaped, with the very first chance i got. I found a ship, and landed here... And I know nothing of myself or my race. Changeling is a new word to me..."

He looked deep in thought, obviously pondering this new information that had been given to him, silently mulling it over, before snapping back to attention and softly smiling at Broly.

"You're incredibly powerful, Broly. Vastly more so than I am. I have to respect that. You have such amazing strength, it's really impressive."

Frost smiled, weary and beaten up, but satisfied nonetheless.

"Perhaps if I train and become a bit stronger... maybe we could do this again?"

As crazy as it sounded, and he knew quite well just how crazy it sounded, he was very sincere. He got a thrill from fighting such a powerhouse, and he wanted to get better, and maybe impress this guy some more. He felt now like he had a goal to achieve, and something to look forward to. He wanted to fight this man more, and prove to him, and himself, how strong he could be.

Frost vs Broly Empty Re: Frost vs Broly

Post by Broly 4/23/2012, 12:38 am

Broly had to admit, the little bastard had some mighty large ones on him. He hadn't even flinched at the Super Saiyan comment; was he unaware of the Saiyans, or simply stupid? Regardless, Broly did not give it too much thought. This little one may have proved interesting, and in the long run he knew that the little warrior could prove useful. Glancing up briefly to the sky, the Legendary Warrior let his feet lift off of the ground in order to slowly rise toward the canopy above. He would make sure to leave the little creature with a sense of foreboding, perhaps even resident suspense. Broly did not enjoy leaving things unfinished, but this could have been what that purple headed boy had been speaking of. Was it called...Tactics?

By utilizing this little thing, he could possibly get to Sairai, the Softhearted. That soft bastard would never turn down the chance to convert another of his species to his cause, his crusade for benevolence. Surely, he'd snap at the chance to educate a warrior like this. Someone who both knew no fear, and knew no evil; someone who bore what seemed like a distaste for the rest of his species, at the very least he bore little knowledge of them. It would be as though he was a raw steak, dropped before a pack of wolves. Smirking briefly at the thought of the little creature being devoured by a rather ravenous pack of wolves, Broly spoke to it as he reached the area just below the canopy.

"Perhaps, insect. Seek me out when you have grown strong. There is more satisfaction in destroying the strong than the weak.", a statement which was for the most part true. Killing someone who knew what they were doing, who actually knew how to inflict pain upon their opponent...that was one of the most satisfying things in the world. The pounding of fist against flesh, the sound of bones crunching and shattering as their body quickly became little more than a bag of broken skin and bone. That was something Broly enjoyed greatly, and something he'd never give up for the world. He kept those things in mind, as he ascended through the tree tops and sped off toward Ryouji's Mansion in a flash of emerald light, his energy booming across the sky like thunder.
