Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly Empty Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly

The Saiyan's eyes stared down at the shattered pavement, inspecting his most recent handiwork. All around him, towering buildings were burning their way down, several had already crumbled and smashed into others. Smoke was filling the sky above, obscuring the sun from view and painting the land black; the results of Broly's most recent rampage. He was not known for his restraint, which made it all the more remarkable that he had not destroyed the entire damn planet. Though some would later call this rampage unprovoked, the Saiyan had his own reasons. That bastard Kakarot was alive somewhere, walking blissfully around the planet without a care in the world. Kakarot was enjoying his wife, enjoying his damn children and in general having fun as he was forced to scrounge and scrap and fight for his very survival, on a strange and generally hostile planet. It was fucking infuriating. Was his fellow Saiyan even aware of his existence, his anger? Was he aware that his life was now in mortal danger? As Broly's eyes slowly rose to the broken skyline, something inside of him doubted it. Kakarot was not that intelligent, as it seemed.

Snarling wickedly, the Saiyan clenched both fists, taking step after step forward down the road. He was not in the mood to fly home; he was in the mood to work off some anger, some stress. Had there been any survivors of his rampage, it would have been more than evident that he was in a rather poor mood, to say the least. It was visible in everything he did; from the thunderous, concrete shattering footsteps to the menacing emerald light exuded from his body, it was clear that Broly was pissed off. He had never thought himself over his rage, but he was surprised at the level of angry that he was currently experiencing. It was not only anger, but frustration; why was Kakarot hiding from him? Was he scared? Or maybe he wasn't the hero everyone thought he was? That would explain why nobody had called out for him, why no one had screamed his name as their last breath...Not that anyone would ever use his name as a death call. No one really thought highly enough of Broly for his name to be their last breath. If anything, it'd be their last fearful scream, provided they knew his name.

All these people had known, was that he was a monster. It was fucking annoying. They didn't bother to worry about his problems, his crumbling sanity, his fucking issues. They were all selfish, humans. They weren't empathetic, not that he was empathetic, and they apparently weren't capable of fending off those who they bothered. It wasn't that those specific people had pissed him off, it was just humanity in general; thankfully, the people of South Easton had been very open to his rage. The city had been defended amply, by mixtures of military units and able fighters; unfortunately for them, all of their bodies were now strewn about like puppets with cut strings, devoid of life and personality. It was evident in the blankness of their eyes, the absence of breath and the overall lack of motion. The scene itself was surreal; a blurry ball of emerald light smashing it's way through the city, too powerful to be stopped. Broly could still remember their feeble attempts, the men whose figures he had literally disintegrated with his might. However, the slaughter had not managed to bring him it's usual pleasure. He felt no satisfying release at the death of the weak.

The weak were no longer enough to sate his hunger for power. He knew the issue; the game was no longer intriguing. They weren't powerful like the Bug, famed like Old Man Crane; they were simply weak. He needed big game, he needed a warrior who would test his mettle in combat like no other had before. Unfortunately for him, the pickings were slim and his taste was specific; he knew who he wanted. He knew the power Kakarot held in his hands, the might that had been spoken of throughout the annals of Saiyan History. Kakarot was the most likely candidate for what was best described as his position; Kakarot was the closest thing to being the Legendary Warrior without actually being it. He was prey literally too enticing. Broly only wished he knew where the Saiyan was; he wished he knew where the little bastard was hiding, so that he could wrest his life away. Clenching his fists tight enough for the inside of his palms to bleed, the Saiyan screamed with rage. The concrete bridge beneath him disintegrated, crumbling away like the sanity that he had already lost his grip on.

Fucking Kakarot.

Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly Empty Re: Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly

"Seems you missed one dog" Cell said from behind him, a woman impaled on his tail. She was still alive, but could not move due to the agony of having a needle all the way through her torso. Cell moved her closer and placed on hand on top of her head. He twisted it quickly enough to release a very satisfying snap. She hung limply, all of the tension finally leaving her body. Cell's tail moved in and upwards some to stay inside her body. He began to eat him meal. "Don't worry, I got it." He said mockingly as he looked around at the destruction. Certainly it was a pleasure to see, but it seemed pointless to him.

The corpse on his tail soon had nothing left of her innards. Even her bones had been turned into some kind of slush due to the chemicals released inside of her body. A moment later, the skin was done, and nothing was left but clothing. A strong wind blew it from his tail, it felt as if an ominous sign considering the mood his 'friend' was in. cell decided to both humor him, and mock him. It was a special ability that he loved possessing.

He leaned back on a destroyed gurter and asked his friend a few simple questions.
" So why exactly did you even destroy this place? You didn't get any pleasure from it, no-one to hunt or kill worth your time. Are you finally losing your mind to your own power? What is it you need Broly, what is it your truly crave. You have power, but you know, you FEEL that you need something else." He said. He was being honest, but he wouldn't want his comrade to know he was helping him. He needed his super power to gain more strength for him to absorb. He wanted him to remain sane, and grow until Cell felt the time to feed was at hand. He waited patiently for either the answer, a frontal assault, or both. Fucking Saiyans.

Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly Empty Re: Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly

Broly’s body twitched and convulsed as Cell’s voice rang out over the sound of crackling flames and falling rubble. The insect was bothering him now of all times? Turning back to face the creature, the Saiyan’s jaw clenched tightly, his teeth gritting and grinding together as his energy seemed to rise further and further. He was not going to let this insect bother him, he was not going to let this damn thing sour his already rotten mood. His fingertips quickly tensed as he locked on to the bug’s location, his expression fierce and fatal. It looked as though his eyes could pierce through a man’s very soul; had Cell not been almost literally composed of such things, this process would’ve taken but seconds.

The ground shook and rattled beneath his feet as he launched himself toward his opponent with malevolent intent, his body exuding pure power from his every pore. He was not playing around with the creature this time; he was striking to hurt, to do damage and to fucking kill. He knew that the thing had managed to gain a solid amount of power as of late, but this did not bother him. Many things grew in power over their time on the Planet Earth, Broly among them.

Snarling as he crossed the concrete, the material shaking and breaking underneath the pressure of his power. He was not bothering to control it and his limiters appeared to be failing him, flashing a bright pink color as his body approached the green monstrosity, growing in muscle mass and slowly filling out to form a more lean physique. Unfortunately for Cell, his strength only seemed to continue climbing as he approached. Strips of black hair slowly rose and began to fade to a dark blue, almost violet color. Meanwhile, his eyes stormed over, the fire changing into a more threatening and lightning like-concoction behind teal hues.

Broly was truly doing this.

Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly Empty Re: Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly

Cell watched as the behemoth came at him. He found it amusing that his very sight was so infuriating to this neanderthal. It hadn't been but a few days ago that he had forced massive amount of information into his brain and left him catatonic for a short time. It probably didn't help any that his long time most hated individual had been a great deal of that information. Oh well, it meant more fun for him, he was sure. Hell he hadn't even known that those two had a connection. It seemed Goku was the center of quite a lot of hate. He couldn't blame Broly for hating his own prey, as the man had been very infuriating. Still, he would get him first. He never lost sight of his prey and never let another hunter take it. Even if that hunter was a force of nature.

He watched as the nearly Super Saiyan individual rushed, the ground beneath him tearing in his wake. The clouds above This truly was a frightening appearance to most. However, Cell had no fear for such a meek attempt at his life. There simply was not enough energy behind it to burn him into nothing as would be required. Cell was not a simple thing to kill as most of Broly's opponents had been. Most of Broly's exploits would be like killing a kitten compared to the monster than Cell was. He was built to survive and kill, and this man was not quite enough to handle that right yet. At least not here and not until Cell decided it was time for them to battle in earnest.

He waited until the moment before impact, and held his breath. Broly ground to a halt just mere millimeters from his body. He took a few steps to the side and walked behind him. He watched for a moment, considering attacking him in this vulnerable state. He decided to do so in a manner of speaking. He walked to him, and pressed his hand onto the monster of a Sayian's back. He absorbed energy from his opponent body first, figuring he'd need it.

He then walked back in front of him, and proceeded to throwing his fists into the mans face. A sum total of nine times before pulling back a wide and fairly powerful blow. This of course would be aided by him pulling large amounts of concrete and debris to his fist. He compressed it down until it became a solid beach ball sized sphere of concrete. While this was certainly heavy, Cell had more than enough strength to hold it, wield it, and break it. Which he would do so as he slung it at his opponents face.

He would be smiling if he could, as he had been waiting for an excuse to do that for quite some time. He then re-took his position behind his opponent and released his breath. He figured the amount of force he put into those blows and all concentrated right onto his opponents mouth and nose might be equal to a normal human running head first into a brick wall. It wouldn't kill him and with the force he was going it might not even stop his charge. That did not mean it wouldn't hurt like hell.

"So, not in a mood to talk I take it? But why are you plowing into concrete like that?" He said mockingly.

Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly Empty Re: Damn it Kakarot; Cell & Broly

The concrete shattered against his face, accompanied by unrivaled surges of pain throughout his body. While they most certainly originated in his visage, they seemed to spread downward; shooting through his chest and especially his back, which felt remarkably weaker than it should’ve. Where this would have crippled mortal men, it only made Broly that much more determined. It only enhanced the rage he was feeling; it built upon it like a painter upon white canvas to forge his art.

Why was it, that everyone seemed to ready to hurt him? Why was it that he had never found solace? Why couldn’t Kakarot have just shut his fucking mouth? Why had that child been so unable to cooperate, been so unyielding in his incessant whining and crying and baying? Could he not see the stress, the fear he was instilling in Broly? Did he not see the danger he had sewn for himself? Had he been able to predict this coming, the second coming of a power long since thought extinct, he would have stopped.

He would have been considered among the safe, among those whom Broly was unaware of. Broly held no specific grudge against the other children in the infirmary that day; while he still despised the remainder of his race, he did not hold grudges against it’s individual members. Yes; this was partially because his opponents didn’t tend to last that long. Yes, Kakarot was the exception. But, who wouldn’t make him the exception to the rule?

Kakarot’s power was great; he was prey almost worthy of Broly’s time. Kakarot, the Saiyan who had started his road trip filled with agony; the Saiyan who had originally outcasted him from the rest of society, branded him a freak by mere presence alone...Kakarot was on Earth. Kakarot was right in his fucking fingertips, and he couldn’t find him. Snorting, breath and energy burst forth from his nostrils as he continued to charge Cell, the gap between them now miniscule.

”Tell me, bug! Where is Kakarot?! Where...is...Kakarot?!”, his screaming grew more exasperated, more outlandish, more feverish. He was determined to find the man and envelop him in his strength, consume him with his own might and then destroy every fiber of his being. However, he could not sense him. The man’s signature was lost among the powerful, the brave and the bold; even the meek were hiding him.

His eyes were now bloodshot, his hair blown back by wind and ki. He was fucking ready; he was ready at any moment; as the energy around his body suddenly cracked and formed a hard barrier he knew he was ready. He was ready to consume the bug, he was ready to consume this godforsaken planet, he was ready to fucking kill something. He had already worn his way through this city, he had worn his way through many others.

But still, he failed to find that which he sought; the Saiyan known as Kakarot, the Earthling known as Goku. He failed to realize why they would shield him, why the Earthlings seemed so determined to give him no details on his existence. He however, did succeed in realizing why it infuriated him so. He was a hunter, his prey was only just above standard game; why was it so fucking hard to finish him off? Why was it hard to corner him?

He knew that if he ever ran into the Saiyan, he would destroy him. He would tear him apart, he would consume him. He would make him a part of the thousands, the millions, the billions of bodies left strewn about in his wake. As emerald light flashed once more throughout the city, Broly laid out what he knew for fact in his head. It was all he could do to hold on to the semblance of sanity that remained within him; all he could do to grab hold of that which he held...Dear.

For, deep at heart, Broly was not a bad man. No, he was simply misunderstood. Misunderstood, used, hurt, and vengeant. Oh yes; he was an avenger, here to take the souls of those who would harm him first, to exact justice for crimes already and crimes not yet committed.
