Lunch Time! (FT vs Cell) Empty Lunch Time! (FT vs Cell)

It was almost dark outside the mansion of "The Fallen", Trunks was busy doing exactly what he always did.

Train.

The training that this warrior was doing, what not a physical one. This time it was mental. Sometimes this was the best method of preparing your mind for battle. The saiyan sat under a large tree outside the massive home in which he now lived. Yes, he could have done this inside his large room, that was given to him by the leader Broly, but as nice as this home was he didn't like it. It wasn't a bad place to be, but considering Trunks had been outside for the majority of his life, he was used to out doors for comfort. The state that he was in at this moment was one that was not common for the saiyan to be in. He was at peace for once in what seemed like ages. Training was how he escaped this cruel and miserable world in which he lived in. It saved him.

Trunks sat with his eyes closed and hands gently resting on his thigh. It could not be seen from his surface, but within his mind an intense battle ensued. The battle with Novashen played through his mind over and over again. Like a bad movie that was on every channel, the battle he could not get over. How the hell did he manage not to completely destroy the being known as Novashen? The saiyan allowed this battle to analyze through his mind for the simple fact that he would use this information the next time he fought Nova. This time he would kill him.

Trunks face twitched as the battle continued to replay through his head. This was what true warriors did. If he had a flaw he would find it and make sure that it was not a problem any longer. As focused as the saiyan truly was, something on the outside of his mind, back in the real world, caught his attention. It was quiet. Too damn quiet. At this time of night, there were normally small bugs making noise as they search for their next meal. The trees seemed to talk to one another as they sway in the wind, but right now this was not the case. Everything was quiet and still. Not just a ordinary still either, this was more of an uncomfortable feeling. Trunks could feel it down in his gut, he was being watched.

The saiyan opened his eyes to scan the surround area in which he sat. He could see nothing, but he knew something was going on. Hell he even knew who it was without even seeing him.

"Cell. Just come out already, I know your out there." The saiyan shouted at his comrade. Cell was a strange creature. He was apart of "The Fallen", yet he also wanted to kill each member of his own team. Trunks knew what this abomination had in mind, he wanted to cash in on killing Trunks. Living with Cell, this was a everyday occurrence. Trunks was battle worn though, and he seemed to pick up on this fairly quickly.

These things never ended quietly, they ended in a fight which was fine with Trunks as he needed to test the skills he had recently acquired.

"Alright bug, show your ugly face."

The night around Cell did not move. It was a normal occurrence when he was in this mood. He was not hunting, he was simply restless. If he was hunting, nature would accept him. He wasn't a natural occurrence in nature, he was an abomination created by a man named Gero. Nature did not care too much, he was a living creature, and it would accept him when he was doing what he was made to do. Cell did not believe in that it was some sentient thing, but it was there. They shared a few things, they both had grown to hate humanity as a whole. They both found certain things intriguing and other things worthless. Nature seemed to find him intriguing considering everything.

"Cell. Just come out already, I know your out there." Trunks said below him. He hadn't been hunting, but he had been watching. Trunks had recently lost a battle against someone. He was intrigued by that considering he was alive. He had yet to tell the tale however.

If the young Saiyan were to look up, he would see the beetle-like tailed monster. He was sitting on the his heels, wings splayed behind him around the branch. His tail laid against the branch. It was one of the very few times it was seen at rest. Normally it was ready to strike at a moments notice. To kill a victim, or to kill an attacker who dared face the abomination or try to get the jump on him. The Saiyan below him currently was neither. He could tell thanks to his senses, they were alone for the most part. It could have been an easy meal, but one that would have been a massive waste.

"And don't worry, You're not ripe enough to eat yet. Who DID you lose to, Trunks? Maybe they're worth being my meal." He said. He knew more than he let on of course. He had probed the sleeping Trunks mind when he had recovered him. The damage that had been done to that area was extensive. Most of it he was sure was Trunks, just like a Saiyan to blow the staging area away for no real reason. He was able to get a few images from him. He had skimmed a few just before the boy spoke up.

He was however surprised that Trunks had lost, at least without dying in the process. Upon the probing he had been able to discover, even though Trunks had not at the time, that both fighters had been incompatibility in their battle. He could only see imagines however, hearing thoughts on this battle would have revealed his presence.

"Was it someone interesting?" He asked, still keeping his restful stance. He looked forward as he questioned him. He was staring at the mansion, considering everything that had brought him here. It was quite the journey. He had killed thousands, eaten thousands, kill heroes, even killed another version of the Trunks below him. He had terrorized the world traveled into not just one, but two dimensions and back in time. He was very far displaced from 'home' but that word meant little to him. What mattered to him was power and perfection. He would obtain those things, he would become something more than a mortal. He would be a living god, and he would terrorize existence itself.

He hopped down from his resting place, his tail lazily taking it's natural position. The muscles stiffening and pulling to prepare for a strike to be made at a moments notice. He looked back at the warrior meditating behind him. "You've meditated enough, Come show me what improvements you've made." he said, shifting his stance a bit. He waited, he would allow this fledgling to come at him. He wanted him to improve and reach his potential. If he did, he would be a very worth while meal.

The bug like creature known as Cell was even closer than Trunks had thought. Hell the damn thing was perched above him the entire time. It would seem that since dragging the saiyan back from his battle, in which he lost, it had sparked an interest from this creature. Cell had seen and been through many things in his life time, death, life, time travel, but there was still one thing he had never experienced.

Defeat.

Cell seemed to be interested in how the young saiyan handled the loss. It was simple. He was fine with it, as he never saw the other fighter again. He figured he had just destroyed Novashen with his death ball, the saiyan had never seen someone take that kind of attack and live to tell the story. It still didn't matter to him even if he did manage to kill that man, if he didn't get the job done there will always be a next time. For Trunks had lived after the battle, giving him a chance to recover and come back with a vengeance.

Cell wanted to see what this kind of drive would do to a saiyans fighting skills? Then he was in for a welcome that he was never expecting from his comrade. Trunks stood to his feet, cleaning his pants of the grass and filth that accompany the ground. "You've meditated enough, Come show me what improvements you've made." The bug yelled from across the way. Trunks knew that this was going to happen, as it seemed to happen regardless of the situation. In Cells eyes it was always a good time for a fight. Trunks was not really in the mood to battle, but this bug had interrupted his peaceful thinking, leaving him with no choice.

"Alright, Bug." Trunks lifted his hands up in a battle formation, allowing a smirk to run across his face. Now that he prepared his mind for the fight, it did begin to seem like a perfect chance to test his skills. Cell was a superior fighter, this would be a perfect test. "You want to see how I have improved, huh? You might regret it." The saiyan muttered. He stood awaiting his chance to strike, he needed Cell to do something that would give up a sign of weakness. The outer shell of the beast was made of hard material, Trunks could tell just by looking at it. He knew that this was going to take some planning if he was going to defeat the hideous creature.

As both fighters stood across from each other, both with the intention to strike at any given time, a short wave among the trees caught the saiyans attention. This was his chance. He would have to bank on Cell giving this noise its respect and investigating it with his eyes, it was a natural reaction that could be his down fall.

Trunks blasted off the spot in which he once stood, leaving nothing but a stain of burnt grass from his aura that now littered the battle field with light. The saiyan closed in on his opponent, he would have to play it cool and be smart if he wanted to beat Cell. Trunks jerked his right hand backwards to gain some extra power behind this punch, then launched it forward, his fist already in a ball attempting to smack the construct along side of its odd shaped head. The saiyan then dropped to the ground firing off an attempt to knock the beast down to his level. Cell had power but he also had size, this was a way to keep the battle even on both fronts if it were to be successful.

"So how what do you think thus far? You will know saiyan royalty will not be taken lightly." Trunks blasted backwards away from his dark green colored opponent. Attempting to add some distance between the two. Now would be the true test, this was when the friendly battle would become serious.
