Saiyan Blood (Borgos Vs Nappa)

Borgos was waiting for something on the outside of Planet Vegeta's main city, but for what? He honestly didn't know, but what he did know was that he was robbed of his armor earlier that day by another but stronger saiyan. It hurt his pride that he could be robbed so easily and wanted to blow off that steam in a fight with almost anyone. After all, he was saiyan. He was forced to wear clothes worse than the Low Class clothes that many Saiyans wore. He wore a brown, torn tunic with matching plain brown pants. He did not wear any shoes or gloves though, but he couldn't complain though, they were lose enough that he could fight in them, which all saiyans would enjoy. Borgos was just getting hungry, but not so much that he would be immobilized, perhaps he could go fetch something to devour soon, after an hour or two.

Borgos was sitting upon the edge of a cliff looking over a deep and rocky canyon. The sight just intrigued him but he was starting to become bored of it. He picked himself up and stood there before walking back toward the city to fight someone and then gorge himself upon their food for losing. He wrapped his waving tail around his hip tightly as a lot of saiyans did. For some odd reason he stopped and looked around as if he was being watched, and he hated eyes trying to burn their way into his skull. This was one way to get a Saiyan angry and beat you into a pulp, and nobody would want that.

After a few minutes of waiting for the one he assumed was staring at him, he finally began walking again, realizing there was noone there. He must be more hungry than he thought he was to be delusional enough to believe there was someone there. At least he will eat soon, and make this all go away.

Nappa was in a sour mood. He didn't know why but he was. Underneath the red sky of planet Vegeta he trudged through the city streets as an aura of “don't mess with me” loomed about the large saiyan warrior. Xenos of all shapes and sizes kept their distance and even other saiyans seemed to out of their way to avoid him.

Nappa himself was lost in thought. He'd tried drinking and fighting with the local drunks and ruffians. He'd even gone out the desert where the beasts roamed and feasted like a wild animal but nothing seemed to be working. No matter what he did he could just no seem to cheer himself up.

He figured it was because it had been far too long since he'd had a real fight. Not like the kind you got with the beasts when you hunted or the usual scuffles that sayains got into with each other on a regular basis. For the past couple weeks he'd been stuck on Vegeta doing things like working guard duty. It paid alright but the large, bald headed saiyan was quickly growing agitated with the lack of any real action. Something had to give.

In his musings Nappa never any saw the other sayain before he bumped into him. The equally large, bald headed one with scars on his forehead. Not that it would have mattered much. In his current state of mind it was unlikely that Nappa would have changed his course.

“Hey watch it you ugly bastard!” shouted Nappa rudely staring death at the man he'd just bumped into.

He knew most saiyan warriors worth their weight in anything would respond rather viciously, and likely violently to such an insult, particularly in the middle of a populated city with numerous witnesses and Nappa hoped and prayed this guy would be no exception.

Upon entering the city he spotted the one who stole his armor. The weakling Xeno wore it like a badge of honor, but something was off about the way he wore it. Must be despite the stretchy quality of the combat skin, Borgos's large size and the long time he had wore it had stretched it to his size. The Xeno didn't see Borgos coming as he drug the thief into the closest alley. Confrontations and fights were normal on the Saiyan planet, as it was a Saiyan's nature to get into a fight. The Xeno didn't even attempt to defend itself and complied to Borgos's desire to have what was his back. The Xeno quickly ran from the alley after returning the the combat Skin wearing nothing but undergarments, which caught the eye and laughter of a few low class Saiyan teenagers.

The teenagers stopped laughing when they saw Nappa and avoided him, not wanting to fight him. Borgos would exit the Alley wearing his combat skin, ready to fight anything, and began walking to the local bar, where a lot of saiyans went to pick fights. Borgos didnt expect to bump into another saiyan, but he understood exactly what kind of look that the saiyan radiated at Borgos and returned an inviting smirk. He didn't care if they fought right here, for Saiyans will more likely join in, turning the fight into a moshpit. His eyes accepted his challenge and he just knew he would be pleased. Borgos stepped back and waited for him to come at him.

There weren't a lot of written laws on planet Vegeta and was written generally didn't amount to much more than “don't start what you can' finish” and even those were rarely enforced. It was a common joke that the guards on planet Vegeta were generally just there for show. There was some truth to that.

However like the monkeys that they were so often compared to saiyans and their culture had a number of unwritten rules and laws that most natives of the big red planet followed almost subconciously. The stare was one of them. If you wound up in a confrontation with a saiyan and you looked them in the eye it meant you were issuing a challenge and saiyans rarely backed down from a challenge.

Nappa smirked as he other saiyan accepted his challenge and the two soon to be opponents eyed each other up. Around him the cities inhabitants backed away to give the two space. Some of the more fragile xenos ran away, figuring they were less likely to end up as collateral damage elsewhere. Others, including many saiyans, stayed and watched. Nappa even overheard a few of the city guards making bets amongst themselves about the outcome of the fight.

Then ground underneath Nappa's feet cracked and a dull, rumbling boom could be heard as dust as gravel shot into the air and Nappa's aura briefly flared into the visible spectrum. The large saiyan kicked off the ground and shot through the air, aiming his shoulder at the other saiyan's midsection as the gathering crowd cheered the start of the fight.
