=============================
In the house of the woman Martha, resided the young changeling by the name of Subazerot. He have sheltered there for a few weeks, trained as hard as he can, as much as he can without being noticed at the outskirts of the city known as Satan City.

Inside the house, just as the small alien has just come back from his daily training, he found that a certain acquaintance of his has come to visit again.

The tall visitor stood up and immediately greeted the returned Subazerot, "Hey, welcome back. I was waiting for you for a while now".

"Looks like you really don't slack off from your training" he added as he grinned, teasing the alien for his dedication for fighting.

"Well, looks like you do. How's the family anyway?" the young changeling asked in return.

"They're doing good in school. They're some fierce little warriors, kinda like me when I was in the military" Nuindo answered gleefully.

"By the way, I’m here for another reason" the tall alien continued, getting to the point. "I know someone strong who definitely can train you"

"Go on" the small xeno then smiled, seemingly interested at the thought.

"A man known as Master Roshi or just plain Roshi. He's known as the Turtle Hermit, he may be old once but the Kais brought him back, he trained a lot of powerful fighters who are now known across the galaxies" Nuindo told as he approached the small xeno.

The tall man then handed Subazerot a small paper which contained the address of the Turtle Hermit. The changeling read it and found that the teacher lived at an island just a few miles away from his location. His old friend then shook hands with him and went away, returning the favor to Subazerot, who had helped him with a small request.

After spending the afternoon inside the house with conversations with the landlady Martha, he decided to make a visit to the hermit his friend was talking about. He walked out of the house and flew towards the direction of were the address said was the island.
As the youngling flew north, he stopped and hovered in the air as he saw a rather small island with just one house. Having guessed that the house might belong to Roshi, he then flew towards the island at max speed, excited on what may be in store for him.
As he reached the island and landed, some of the grass and ground was blown away from the force of his flight as the xeno chose not to hover down slowly but just fly straight down with speed.

A young man came out who the youngling thought was there to welcome him, but was then greeted with in an angry manner, "Hey! Keep it down will ya!".

The alien saw that Roshi was a bald man wearing beach shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, he was about average height, and was holding what appears to be a porn magazine. [itl]So this is the great Turtle Hermit[/itl] he said to himself as he sighed, depressed that his would-be master is a pervert.

Apparently, the hermit knew what he was thinking as he quickly hid the magazine behind his back and nervously told the changeling "I know what you're thinking but..."

Roshi was about to continue, but then he realized that it was just a visitor and reverted back to an angry manner and asked "Hey, what are you doing here anyway!?"

"Oh, uh, I'm here because I'm told you're a great teacher. Can you train me?" Subazerot replied as he bowed as a greeting, though inside he wasn't sure he had gone to the right place, considering the hermit.

"Well, I am the great Master Roshi" the young hermit revealed in a prideful manner. Apparently being called as a "great teacher" was enough to convince him.

The youngling happily smiled and intruduced himself as well, "The name's Subazerot. I am truly tha--"

Roshi then raised his a hand up with his index finger raised as to stop him on his tracks. "But, you have to pass a test first before you can call yourself a true student of the Turtle Hermit"

"Go to the temple a few miles north from here. You'll find a masked warrior there and do as he says. He'll give you a relic once you've proven yourself, bring that relic to me and then I'll train you" the hermit added.

Subazerot simply nodded, turned around, and hovered in the air for a few seconds before he flew away, to the direction of where Roshi told him to go to. As the youngling passes above seas, forests and a few hills before he reached a small mountain with a temple up near the peak. Having learned his lesson that "too much" on the landing could lead to trouble, he slowly hovered down to land.

A hooded man with monk-like robes came out from the door of the temple and approached him as he landed. The man pointed towards the temple and then goes back inside, leaving the door open. Subazerot took this as an invitation and followed the man inside. He looked around and saw a quite calming and quiet atmosphere expected from a temple.

The hooded man was standing on what seemed to be an arena as the circle around him and the objects was specifically placed to be kept from getting in the way of fights.

The man then took of his hood and robes that revealed a man wearing a training gi and a mask with cat-like designs. The masked monk then spoke for the first time since the alien arrived "You must have been sent by Roshi. I am Gunki, I shall be your opponent".

"Very well then" Subazerot said as he calmly took a stance, with one arm stretched out in front with a closed fist and the other arm to his side, also with a closed fist.

Gunki then also took a stance, with his being rather unique as his two hands and arms, forming what likely were wolven fangs. The young alien then took the iniative and dashed towards his foe. He then threw a punch towards his target's face, using the momentum of his charge to increase the force and impact of his attack. His opponent dodged to the side and quickly returned with a roundhouse kick to Subazerot's left side. The blow hit the changeling cleanly and made him fly and crash through a pillar of stone.

While Subazerot leaned to a part of the pillar left intact, he acknowledged that his opponent is someone strong as he groaned in pain, holding his injured side with his right hand. After he balanced his breathing and get his footing back for about half a minute, he recovered and managed to stand up, ready to continue to the fight as his masked opponent waited at the center of the arena-like circle.

The young changeling then cautiously walked towards Gunki, who again took his wolf-like stance. This time, the masked man took the offensive and dashed towards the young alien. Gunki jumped up, brought up both of his arms over his head and then swung down with his hands and fingers formed like claws, in an attempt hit the changeling on from above. Subazerot however, was very alert and serious now and managed to deflect the blow by kicking both of the masked warrior's upwards, giving the young alien a chance to retaliate.

Subazerot took this chance to land a clean hit on his opposition by throwing a left hook towards Gunki's temple. The blow made the masked warrior fall to the pavement face down. Even though the punch was heavy and was at the right time, Gunki managed to stand up, showing his great endurance and durability. However, he was visibly shaken as his legs was at balance but was shaking the little and his heavy breathing could be heard from behind his mask.

The changeling continued his assault as he charged towards the man and unleashed a flurry of punches to Gunki's torso. Gunki held on strong as he gripped his fist and fortified his defenses, enduring the attacks. As each blow landed, the masked warrior was slowly being lifted up on the air and pushed back by the barrage. As Subazerot landed the last few punches, Gunki was already 5 feet in the air.

As the young alien ended the barrage, he then kicked his foe upward, lifting him even higher, about 35 feet up in the air. As the masked man's body flew up, the changeling jumped up and reached an even higher height to follow to make sure that his opponent was to be truly defeated. He stretched and raised both of his arms as he clasped his hands before he brought it down like a hammer, making the completely beat up man fall down at a great speed.

However, before Gunki can crash down on the floor, Subazerot flew down with speed directly below the falling warrior to catch the man, which he succeeds in doing so, preventing the death of a fellow fighter.

He then carefully brought the seemingly knocked out Gunki down on the floor, lied down on his back. The alien sat down, waiting for the masked warrior to regain consciousness.

After about an hour, Gunki woke up and saw that Subazerot was sitting right next to him. The man then sat up and asked: "Why didn't you kill me?".

"Why should I, I have nothing against you. Besides you're a great warrior and you gave me a good fight. You didn't even try to say anything even though I was beating you badly" The changeling replied as he smiled.

Gunki then took of his mask and just put it down on the floor, which revealed a middle-aged man with a face with a few scars. He was grinning at the time, as happy or maybe even happier than the alien he just fought.

"Well, I think you deserve to be a student of Master Roshi" The man said as he stood up.

Subazerot also stood up and followed Gunki, who was walking to an even deeper part of the temple. The two reached a room with a rather large door, it being nearly 5 times the size of the changeling. Gunki then brought out a key and used it to unlock the huge door and, with some struggle(the door was that heavy), pushed the door open, revealing very large room.

The room had artifacts on display, including weapons, armor, and many others. As the changeling followed the man and walked down halls and isles filled with different rarities, he guessed that the room apparently was the deepest part of the temple as the ceiling was made from rock and had formed spikes pointing directly down.

As they reached another door of a small room, Gunki stopped walking, making Subazerot also stop. The man turned towards his acquaintance and said: "Wait here, I'll get the relic".

Gunki entered the room and came out in just a few seconds with a small, golden staff with a rope tied to it in hand. He handed it to Subazerot, who simply tied it to his waist, with the staff being nearly as short his arm helped to carry it easier.

"By the way, there's a shortcut here. Master Roshi probably won't come here this time so, I'm guessing he's still at the island" Gunki told the changeling as he grinned.

"Great, so where is it" Subazerot cheerfuly asked before the man pointed his index finger towards the alien. Then, in an instant, Subazerot was standing on soft grass with the ocean breeze passing him. He had been teleported!

Surprised, he flinched as he just realized what happened. He then saw Roshi, who was standing directly in front of him, as if he had been expecting Subazerot there at that exact place.

"Hoho, so that brat Gunki knew I wasn't coming. You beat him huh" The hermit said playfully and stretched out his hand and opened his palm facing up, asking for the staff to be given to him.

The changeling, understood this and put the staff on the Master's hand. As Roshi held the staff, it's form began to change as it starts to glow, from a small, golden staff to a large silver shield.

"It's been some time since I've seen someone get picked by the ----------, -----------------" The man said to himself nearly inaudible, with the changeling only managing to hear the first part of what he was saying.

"You may now consider yourself a true student of The Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi. Come back tomorrow for your first day of training" The hermit said as he turned walked away towards his house while he still held the relic.

Subazerot then made a bow of respect and gratefulness to his new master before he flew away, back to his and Martha's house with new hopes for the days to come. This being the first step of the young changeling, of his dream of being a true warrior of the good and becoming more like the Z-Fighters he had admired.
