NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Broly 4/20/2012, 9:36 pm

Wind and smoke blew by the Saiyan's figure as his explosion reached it's climax. He was forced to narrow his eyes when the smoke collided with him, the substance burning his eyes and causing a light, stinging pain to arise in his eyes. Though that was already inconvenient, the breeze caused by his blast was warm and heated, washing over his already warm body. Broly hated the extreme heat, almost as much as he hated the cold. Ignoring the fact that it was his fault, he quickly blamed the rapidly vanishing energy signature of the deceased woman who was being eradicated on the beach. If only she had been more easily dealt with, he wouldn't have needed to use an attack like that. He would have been able to just choke the life out of her, throttling her neck against the hot sand and forcing shivers of satisfaction throughout his entire body. The thought that he had been deprived of such an immensely pleasurable course of events was enough to bring a grim scowl to the warrior's face, despite the sudden drop in power he felt from the Saiyan female.

Were both females down for the count? As a plume of sand and smoke rose from the ground somewhere behind him, the warrior doubted it. It had just taken her a little while to hit the ground; she would probably be up eventually. He had been hoping that his Gigantic Press had done away with the woman, but she was proving as resilient as he previously thought. Forcing an exhalation of breath from his lungs as he strode toward the ashy remains of Ralia's once beautiful body, Broly began searching for Ryouji's energy signature throughout the chaos that was still going on around him. The boy's energy was anything but used up, as it happened. He was still a beacon of power, as was the signature closing in on him. Was the child under attack? Judging by the strength of Rex's signature, it would have appeared so. Also judging by how powerfully he had battered the female Saiyan's body (enough to send her crashing to the ground), he was no force to ignore. Wading his way through the sea of smoke and heat-haze, Broly prepared to stomp his way to saving the day. Or rather, he had been approaching when a massive energy began to accumulate behind him.

The fuck was that? His head forcibly turned, attracted like iron to a magnet as he caught wind of it. Behind him, in the distance, that female Saiyan was still alive. Oh, was she alive. A massive orb of energy was accumulating in her hands, which were clenched at her waist. Something about the technique seemed awfully foreboding, awfully dangerous. As Broly stopped in his tracks (from surprise, over fear), he couldn't help but let his jaw drop. She was, for some reason, suppressing the energy? Probably because it'd destroy the earth if she had. As the warrior watched the light shine and spin in her hands, he considered the possibility of death. He doubted that anything would be able to survive a full power collision with that mass of pure energy. It would have been unheard of, completely out of the realm of possibility. He felt his body tense up, and a familiar pressure in his back arise. Was this to be his fate? No! He would not go out like a candle in the night, blown out by a strong wind. He would never allow himself to be defeated in a manner so petty, so insignificant. The warrior cocked his finger tips as her blast reached critical mass.

It came screaming from her fingers along with her war cry, it's massive size enveloping everything in it's path on it's way to meet him. He would have to find a way to escape this, or die trying. What could he do to avoid it, though? The blast itself was easily large enough to cut a sky scraper in half, and melt the rest of it. It was easily tearing through the air now, roaring and jumping at the chance to consume him; the water was being shoved out of the way and the sand was thrown into the air. However, just as Broly began to worry, the world seemed to calm down. A startlingly vibrant violet barrier began to descend from the heavens, enveloping Broly inside of it with a protective shine. The warrior's jaw remained dropped as he watched Ava's blast come rip-roaring toward the barrier's shine, still determined to overwhelm it. He knew for certain that the sight he was about to see would be ingrained in his retinas for the rest of his life; but he had no time to observe. The strong signature was closing in on the boy now, and was probably about to begin that fatal, almost overwhelming barrage of attacks.

His head turned as the sound of heavy artillery detonating at close range boomed through his ears, rattling his ear drums and sending a crash of wind exploding by his face. His shaggy black hair was waving violently in the wind, locks of hair whipping him in the face forcefully. He ignored the force of the wind, the painful sting of the residual pain. Ava's attack was crashing up against the mighty barrier around Broly, and apparently Ryouji as well. He could see the man preparing his assault while the darker, weaker signature (that must have been the original target) was preparing his own attack from behind. Without Broly, the boy would have been deader than a fucking door nail. That was fact without a doubt. The man's fists were on fire, time was ticking down; blasts were being loosed from the other boy's hands. Now was no time to fucking panic! He was THE LEGENDARY WARRIOR, the ultimate force of nature! He was the embodiment of Chaos it's damn-well-self! Growling as his cocked hand suddenly sprang up from his waist, Broly forced a strong gust of wind and energy to erupt from his finger tips.

It carried visibly across the sand, raising jets of the substance in it's wake. He had not aimed at either of the targets around the child, rather, he had aimed directly at Ryouji himself. Though the child would likely be a little upset with the result, he would hopefully realize that the warrior had done something previously unheard of. He had just acted in the hopes of another's survival, something that he'd never done in his entire life. He'd tried strangling his own father to death several times; was he coming to enjoy the boy's presence? Or was it because he viewed him as his own property? The only thing Broly seemed to care for these days was his own property, after all. Ever since someone had trashed his space bicycle...Well, let's just say that nobody ever saw that poor, alien child again. Nor would anyone hear from that ignorant ass cowboy looking motherfucker in the hat, who was trying to harm his property, nor would they hear from the tired one behind his property. He would make sure to curb stomp them both, brutally.

As his blast was loosed from his hand, the warrior quickly cocked his other hand. Energy began to shine around it, this time a more pleasant shade of emerald tha n previously seen. It was a neutral light, producing no heat. He casually placed the hand against his pectorals, allowing it's light to wash over his body in a cleansing fashion. It was removing some of the battlefield fatigue that was currently effecting his body, a by product of his lack of rest so far. He'd only gotten one real chance to rest in the fight. That had been during his original descent to force Ralia's body into ashes. He would make sure that this was a similar effort, keeping him fresh and allowing him to tear his future opponents into two equally worthy halves. Of course, worthy was a term he used without care. Two halves of Zero still equaled Zero, after all. Any mathematician who could have heard his thoughts would have surely been appalled beyond measure. One did not divide by Zero!

As his energy began to wash over him, Broly started his advance toward Rex and Izon. It was their turn to feel the pain he had wrought upon poor Ralia; their turn to experience dread and fear. He would make their deaths slow and obscenely painful, but that was an understatement by most estimates. Broly did not feel mercy, nor did he feel remorse. After his wrath was fully unleashed, they would have no safety, no haven to retreat to. He would destroy them in their entirety. As his voice carried over the sound of energy dissipating against the hum of a barrier, Broly knew he had returned the favor to the child. It was obvious that the angel-like entity had summoned a barrier to protect them in this fight, a blessing for certain. However, these two would soon know the sound a demon made when he roared, become familiar with a wolf's growl; a tiger's hiss was equally fatal to all, regardless of how many toothpicks their cage was built of.

"Care to pick on someone your own size, Cowboy? You must lack the might, or do you just lack the balls required to face a God?"

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ryouji 4/21/2012, 2:10 pm

Ryouji watched as his energy ball went whizzing through the air closing in on its target. Surprisingly though the ball that caged Ian had erupted violently, much unlike it was supposed to? Could the man have broken out of his technique? Surely not. But to his surprise, a torrent of energy flared up from the smoke, dispersing it. He did break out? But there was no way he could have done so himself, he had to have assistance. Ryouji calmed himself and sensed the man again, he felt a powerful aura, it was strange, almost ancient. He must have had something on him that was giving him such powerful and ancient energy, Ryouji couldn’t have that. If this man dared to steal his backyard from him, then this boy had to steal his power.

Suddenly a purple barrier went up around Ryouji. He looked up to Chiyu to see that she had extended her arms to place the barrier; her hair flying in the wind and her eyes looking down upon the boy. She slowly turned her gaze to his left and Ryouji followed suit. The first thing he saw was a flaming fist heading for his face. He flinched as the fist connected with the shield sending a shockwave through the barrier. Even though there was a barrier to separate him and this mysterious man’s punch, it was still as if the hit had landed solidly. Ryouji shuttered to think what it may have felt like to take a direct blow from this man. His assault continued.

After the fourth or fifth punch, it was hard to tell as the man was incredibly fast, the shield around Ryouji started to give way. Each punch cracked the barrier a little more. His body was starting to feel the pain. The barrier may have prevented the fist from hitting him directly, but the kinetic energy produced by the punches was still able to get through. His torso, his gut and his face were all starting to turn red. He could feel the metal of his clothes starting to become very hot. If the boy didn’t figure out how to get free of this man’s assault then he would become a toasted marshmellow.

’Broly,’ Ryouji sent another message to his comrade telepathically. The first message worked so he hoped this one would to. ’you need to dislodge me from this flaming man’s assault.’

The eighteenth hit connected and the barrier shattered and Ryouji quickly brought up his arms to form another barrier. This one was stronger this time; the kinetic forces didn’t penetrate the shield. The punches were still incredibly strong. The barrier began to crack once again. After another few dozen punches this barrier gave way. The boy brought his arms up and closed his eyes, ready to take the next punches like a man. Then he was hit, but much to his surprise, it wasn’t from in front of him like he was expecting. He flew sideways as he was hit in the right shoulder by a burst of energy. It stung like a bitch, and may have bruised a couple ribs. Ryouji turned around to see Broly standing there, his hand extended.

‘He must have used energy to knock me away. Not exactly what I was thinking, but it worked. If he broke any of my bones though I’ll have to kill him.

As Ryouji continued to fly he saw bolts of light coming from what was behind him. He looked to the origin to see Ian Lancaster standing there. A surprise attack?! Broly was far smarter than he let on. He not only protected the boy from one assault, but a second one from behind. Not only did he prevent Ryouji intense damage, but he warned Ryouji of Ian’s impeding attack. Could it have been wits or maybe frustration toward the boy that drove him to use such a technique against the boy, whatever it was, it was clever.

Ryouji stuck out his arm, while still flying through the sky and a purple magic circle appeared spinning counter clockwise. Every single blast was redirected and absorbed through the ring of magic, turning it from purple to blue. It was another technique he had picked up in the Realm of Magic. A perfect defense if you will. He could later unleash the energy he had captured to power his own attacks.

Ryouji knew this was the perfect chance to launch his own assault. It would be his best combination of attacks he had ever created and it was going to be bitter sweet. Still flying through the air Ryouji vanished in a burst of speed. He appeared right in front of Broly, squatting down with his palms touching the ground beneath them. He could feel an intense pain shoot through his right side, he got hit worse than he thought from Broly’s attack, but that was to worry about later. Ryouji had to make this attack count.

Chiyu hovered behind Broly, the three of them looking like some kind of sentai team posing for the camera; Broly at the center as the muscle, Ryouji at the front as the brains, and Chiyu in the back as the support. It was certainly a moment that would be remembered for all of history; the birth of the team known as the Inquisition. Little did anyone know that it would be this day that their rise to power would begin.

“Chiyu,” Ryouji called out. “Hit them with all you got!”

She simply nodded as she sent a pillar of purple energy up into the sky. Suddenly the sky turned a majestic shade of purple and filled the sky for as far as anyone could see. Then the purple energy slowly lumped together to form bright white stars in the daylight sky. Soon there was no purple, but hundreds of large stars. One by one, each star fell to the Earth with bright purple tails following behind them. Each one came crashing to the ground with a large explosion. By the looks of the number of stars, this attack would incinerate the entire battlefield with at least one star for each opponent.

As she was performing this incredible feat, Ryouji had created a magic circle beneath all of their feet. It was a brighter shade of purple than normal, a bright white violet color. Suddenly the circle started spinning, faster than any circle he had created before it. The circle generated a massive amount of energy all around its border. The energy nearly had a power level of itself with how much it was gathering. Suddenly the ring snapped and a bright dome of light surrounded the trio just as a star fell upon it. The star was incinerated instantly. Almost as if by command, Ryouji lifted his hands up off the ground and the dome expanded outward, incinerating all in its path. The grass that the dome swept over was no more than ash, the trees no more than stumps of fire, and the small pools of water simply evaporated from the massive amount of heat and energy.

Ryouji had made sure this attack would spread from miles, in order to encompass all combatants, including the ones that may have been hiding. If it were to involve some citizens, that was fine too. No person was truly innocent, each person had a reason they should die and if not they would have gotten one eventually. This was a purge of the entire battlefield, leaving only those that are worth living alive;, safe on the inside.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Goku 4/21/2012, 7:37 pm

Rex harrumphed, his flaming aura dissipating in the blink of an eye.

The magician boy had been far more cunning than he had anticipated. He didn't even know if a single one of his punches had landed. Seldom did anyone evade his beat downs and he could feel the thrill of a rising challenge coursing through his veins. It was one thing to face an opponent with strength and power, but it was another to face one who was both powerful and clever at the same time It was those types of opponents he loved to break.

"Care to pick on someone your own size, Cowboy? You must lack the might, or do you just lack the balls required to face a God?" the big man said.

Although Rex hated being goaded ,and also hated that the guy had just killed Ralia, he wasn't about to be charge the man like a bull who had just been prodded. No, the real threat lied within the purple haired kid. The big guy would probably be last on his hit list, as he would take the longest to kill, but that was fine. Rex had all day to dance.

“Sorry Sancho, you ain't no god, nor do you scare me,” Rex said and tipped his hat with his upper right arm.

More purple light brought Rex's attention to the sky. The celestial being that the boy had summoned was working some sort of magic spell. Shimmering sparkles began to fall from the sky and he chuckled. It was a pretty display, almost like fireworks. Did they really expect to do anything with an attack like that?

The stars picked up speed on their descent. So much so, that Rex was unable to move out of the way one one slammed into his gut and exploded. The force of the impact knocked his baseball cap from his head and sent him hurtling into the sea below. His flesh on the lower part of his face was blackened and covered in blisters from the heat of the explosion. Streamers of smoke poured off of his body as he plummeted.

His armor bore several cracks across its surface, where it had taken the brunt of the impact. There was a deep pain in his stomach and chest, where must of his guts had jarred around. But, his pride was hurt more than his body. He had been told not to underestimate magic, and what did he do? Master's going to have a heyday with me if I don't win this showdown.

Before he hit the chaotic waters he caught himself on a cushion of spiritual energy, the water below him spraying in all directions from the pressure.

He could see the big man, the purple haired kid, and the celestial being all gathered together. It looked as the purple haired kid was working another spell. This time Rex braced himself, he wasn't going to be caught off guard again. As he continued to watch, he could see a dome of spiritual energy form around the boy. One of the stars hit it and vanished, as if it were a leaf landing in the middle of a bonfire. The dome began to expand and swell in size quickly. Within no time it threatened to engulf Rex whole.

The only way out was up.

Rex's blue aura crackled around him and he blasted off, pushing himself to the very brink. The heat was immense, and as he climbed he could feel it melting the bottom of his boots. He was just a hair too slow as he reached the top of the dome and his lower legs were caught in the energy. He let out a scream; both his pants and boots shredding away in the immense heat.

As the energy faded, he was floating above what looked like a massive blackened crater. The shock wave attack had evaporated the sea and burnt down the forests, leaving nothing more than an ashen pit Water was beginning to fill up the chasm where the beach had been, pouring in from all the bottom of the crater like a giant waterfall, casting a mist over it. The sunlight hit the mist and sent a dazzling display of colors. A rainbow; Rex guffawed. What was next? Flying ponies?

Despite the small moment of beauty, he couldn't help but feel impressed at the scale of the destruction. His enemies sure could put a hurting on. Checking his legs, he could see his jeans had turned into cut-off shorts. He wasn't a fan of wearing cut-offs, but he had no choice now. His flesh was bright red, as if he had fallen into a pit of coals. Some spots one his toes had flaky blackened flesh. The poor piggies had endured longest exposure to the boy's spiritual radiation.

He let himself free fall towards the center of the crater, spotting the purple haired boy standing on a sliver of rock protruding up out of the center, the brute the angel creature still behind him. Neither were his target.

The kid probably thought he had killed everyone with that. But, nope, he still had Big Papa Rex to deal with, and the pain was coming. This time he doubted the kid would be able to slip away so easily.

At the last second Rex the flames erupted around his form again, blazing hot and bright. With a loud whirring sound he veered, speeding straight towards his target.

“Honey, I'm home!”

Rex still had a bit of power left in his extra arms. They would fade soon, so he really wanted to get his fists bloody again before that happened. Pummeling the Saiyan woman had been fun, so he hoped this time the kid didn't have another weird trick up his sleeve to get out of it.

“Did you miss me?”

The fiery punches began to rain again, all thirty-six of them. Rex didn't really aim this time, at least not anywhere in particular. They were sent to the boy's upper and lower body simultaneously. Rex was trying to dispatch destruction the best he could; up close and personal.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Izon 4/21/2012, 8:43 pm

Ian could only watch as the disk the brat had created absorbed his blast. He was getting frustrated with himself for not being better prepared. Ava was of some help. She was still up and fighting, why, he didn't know. Anyone who had brains would flee once they found out they were only after him. So why did she stick around? Was her word her bond? Did she keep a promise even if it meant he own death? Not that he felt guilty, he just did not understand the stupidity. Doubt she's agree to owe him anymore favors. If he wasn't so selfish, he'd owe her one. Not that he'd agree to anything of the sort.

All he knew right then and there though, he was nearing his limit. He had some power left, but the way they are fighting, he doubted he'd be able to actually win. Though one thing I'm sure they weren't counting on still had to happen. He couldn't die as easily as they were hoping. It was an annoying fact to people, but you can't kill someone who's mostly dead already. Though he himself wasn't sure how much more he could take. His entire body felt like it had been struck by a train and the more energy he used, the more the bruises and muscles hurt.

Ian watched as the sky turned a dark violet. What the hell was that fairy thing doing? It had arrived just moments ago. How, he didn't know. Soon the violet vanished and several sparkling lights appeared, dotting a daylight sky. Then hell arrived on earth. And he knew what hell was, he had been there. The spheres of energy bombarded the earth one after another sending rocks and debris through the air. He had to weave through the debris to avoid getting crushed by the larger ones, though it seemed to have been useless.

One of the balls of energy didn't hit the earth. It struck him in his back. It exploded, sending him forward, falling through the dust cloud, his skin searing from the high temperature burns. Consciousness fading in and out. The next attack he didn't see, but he felt it. He was engulfed in heat far worst than the sphere that had hit him. His entire body was engulfed in the searing hot energy. His skin charred and then he was out.

He floated above his own body as a spirit just for a moment as the water came crashing in around it. His body was dead, but all he could do was smile. He had his chance. The four above would be trying to kill one another. He felt a pull and allowed his soul to enter his body. Once he entered and before his life signs sent a beacon, his key lowered. Without concentrating on holding his form, he was able to slow his heart and focus his mind. He needed time, and his "death" would give him that. He laid still, virtually lifeless at the bottom of the crater that was quickly filling with water. Once his body vanished beneath the murky water, his human form vanished, revealing a more grotesque form. No skin, only muscle that was hardened. His wings were sprawled out and his lips were gone, displaying a couple rows of razor sharp teeth.

His five fingers became three and displayed nasty looking claws three inches long and his feet displayed similar but longer claws. The only things that remained as far as clothing was his shroud that he had tied around his waist covering his genitalia and a set of armbands that glowed with runes from a soul the Kanassan had imbued. Sadly that soul was useless to him right now.

He didn't need to breath, only lay there, with a very slow heart beat that not even someone taking a pulse would see. His mind was blank, clear of all thought. He, for all intense and purposes, was dead. And he used that to rest up. To regain the energy he had used up and then the mortals above will feel his wrath.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ava 4/22/2012, 10:14 am

Ava watched as a bright purple shield dropped down in front of Broly just as her attack was going to hit him. She gasped. No, he would get away, yet again. She watched on, still holding the blast, trying to get through the shield. She could, she knew it. She saw as broil used an ability to heal himself and restored some of his power. Then, he quite simply, flew off, after Rex. Nothing, not even a scratch. She growled watching him take off. Her eyes drift back to the little angelic creature that had saved his life. IT HAD NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT IT HAD JUST DONE! He was easily the most evil person on this battle field. She growled and dropped her beam, leaning over forward and bracing herself on her knees. She was breathing heavily, sweat dripping from her brow into the rippling water at her feet. She had just put a huge chunk of her power into that blast, and he flew away as if it was nothing.

She dropped down to the ground, kneeling in the little pool of water that had formed at her feet, ignoring the throbbing in her shattered leg. It seemed so hopeless. She had hit him with her most powerful attack and he suffered no damage from it. But she couldn’t give up, not now that everyone had now been battered and bruised. Now she had a real chance of winning, if she could just rest up and gain some of her power back. But right now, she needed to vent.

She slammed her fists into the ground, water splashing out from the impact zones.

“DAMN IT!” she screamed, letting off some of her frustration.

He had slipped away, yet again. She looked up and made eye contact with the little angel. She knew it was wrong to kill a messenger of such importance, but it had to pay.

She would be next.

Suddenly the sky turned a brilliant shade of purple and white lights started to appear in the sky. She could sense that they were not stars, but in fact, ki balls.

She floated up, looking up at the beautiful sight. The ki balls were coming closer, no doubt, but she was spell bound. It was just so beautiful. Then the first of the balls began to hit the ground. She looked around, seeing the devastation they were beginning to cause. There were a few things about this attack. It was meant to wipe out all the combatants, surely, and it was something that had to be dodged. If one of those balls touched her, then it was game over. She smiled. Whoever had used this technique had forgotten about her agility. She shot up from the ground and began dodging the balls. Like a video game that all the young humans played, she dodged them like those flying ships. Making sure that none of them touched her even in the littlest bit. But the time she got up high enough to be able to survey the entire battle ground, the Starfall attack had stopped.

But now there was a new threat. Below, she could see the purple haired boy, Broly and the little angel thing all standing together tightly, in what seemed to be some kind of formation. Suddenly a type of ki dome formed around them being made by the purple haired boy. As he reached up to touch it, it began to expand rapidly. She watched as the exploded closer to her. It was expanding in all directions. The only way to get out of this, was away, far away. But she didn’t have that much power left. Luckily she had a little help.

“NIMBUS!” she shouted out loudly, summoning her little puffy yellow cloud.

She had a way out of this, but what about Lancaster? Where was he? She tried to locate him but he seemed to be gone. Nimbus stopped in front of her and she jumped onto him. She had to think about herself now.

“Get us away from that thing as fast as you can.” She ordered Nimbus, and using his breakneck speed, sped away from the battle ground. She looked back over her shoulder. This was not over. She would find a way to put those three down. They were evil, not worrying about the civilians in the nearby town. They had to be stopped, or else, the entire planet would pay.

She couldn’t run. Not from something this important.

Due to the nature of his absence, the battle will be placed on hold until Broly returns. This is my ruling as both ref and Admin, thank you guys for your patience.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Broly 4/22/2012, 7:40 pm

OOC: Thank you all very much!
--

Broly was tired of this shit. Snarling as he pulled his arms to his waist, the warrior glanced around at the raging sphere of energy being released from around the boy's perimeter. It was clear that he had brought up the shock wave in an attempt to both protect Broly, and harm the opponents that seemed so intent on killing him. For some reason, they were all focusing on the child, as though he were the biggest threat on the battlefield. That itself was enough to piss Broly off, but the fact that they seemed to ignore him completely? That was another insult altogether. He would not stand for such insolence; he would never be able to tolerate such a blatant disregard for true power. The boy did not possess a power on par with his, nor did he possess the power required to fucking tank everything in the surrounding area. Regardless of how powerful his outburst had been, Broly doubted the child would be capable of releasing it again. He could tell by the way his body stood, the shaking in his soul. Eyes suddenly widened, Broly felt himself begin to lose control.

Not only had the human insulted him, he had been prioritizing the youth over the warrior. Any man with a brain would have realized how much larger of a threat Broly posed; he was the second most powerful warrior on the battlefield, and that would have to show within the coming seconds. He would execute the foolish little cowboy, and then hang him from the gallows if his head was still attached to his neck. That itself was a major if, as it happened. Broly was anything but forgiving, and he frequently found himself removing the heads of dead enemies. The Saiyan Bardock could attest to that well enough; his head had burned for hours in the fire place of the Inquisition's Mansion. As it happened, the human head was a solid thing to burn. It lasted a while in the flames, once it had begun to decompose. Funnily enough, the human body did not like fire when it was alive. It was remarkably fatal. So was a pissed off Saiyan.

Ryouji's blast began to consume everything around them with it's vicious roar and volcano-like heat, slowly eating up the country side as it expanded outward. He could imagine everything being torn to shred and turned to ash underneath the expanding field of energy, struggling to get a hold of all within it's reach. The boy was clearly putting out his A-Game in this regard, clearly hoping to eradicate all within the field of battle. However, it appeared that the majority of opponents were evading the blast, but not without effort. He could sense the energy gaining upon the cowboy, and he could sense the female Saiyan scrambling away at top speed. The other aura; the weaker aura however, seemed to have been overwhelmed. That was fortunate, but for some reason, it only served to bother Broly even more. The fact that he had been robbed of his chance to kill someone, the chance to get that sense of satisfaction and total completion...That pissed him off. He would not be out done by a mere child!

He began to scream, loosing a high pitched screech from his lungs. He was starting to lose control of himself; moving to a pure, more feral and instinctual like mode. Layers of emerald energy began to cover his body, as he felt his body slowly begin to regain some of it's lost energy. He would not be outdone! As the light from Ryouji's attack began to fade and his magic began to shrink, the warrior's only continued to grow. His face was shockingly calm, excluding the open mouth screech he seemed so intent on releasing to the world at large. Though he was sure that Ryouji's intent had been friendly, he could not get over the fact that they were now tied in kills for the battle. Sure, Broly had ravaged planets, and likely held a near infinite lead over the child...But why should he settle for an over all lead, when he could also hold a lead over his current score? It was that type of competitive logic that had kept Broly atop the food chain, and when partnered with an almost obsessive urge to kill...Well, there was little question as to why he was such an effective predator.

As the shock wave receded back into Ryouji's circle, Broly's screaming slowly began to abate. His energy was filtering back into his body at a slow pace, but it was enough for what he needed to do. All he needed to do was murder whatever it was that came his way, and then add some excess punishment for those who were foolish enough to exist. As it happened, Rex was the first one to come closing in on their little group, clearly rushing the youth at the front. Was he naive enough to think that Broly would let that cowboy wrangle himself a kill? That was just precious. As Rex's body closed in on the Child, Broly brought his hand into the air, keeping both eyes fixed upon the daisy-duke wearing warrior rushing his ally. He wouldn't be taking his eyes off of that bastard until he had a huge hole in his chest; in Broly's eyes, that was a perfectly polite and even reasonable course of action. Anybody who disagreed could have politely went and fucked off somewhere else, before he killed them. Needless to say, that was the extent of Broly's mercy at this point.

Broly's energy exploded out into a fiery blaze around his palm, slowly sizzling into a more precise shape. At first, it seemed as though he'd just covered it in his regular aura; however, as the energy began to thin and condense, it became clear that this was far more lethal. The energy was forming a blade around his fingertips, extending just past his hand in order to pierce whatever it was he needed to pierce. Some would have viewed the attack as dangerous already, but remembering that it's wielder was Broly, the Legendary Warrior? Surely, his opponents were to be hastily fucked. Snarling as Rex closed the distance with Ryouji, the Saiyan prepared himself for the assault he was to bring upon the poor man. Whatever he had been intent to do, he wouldn't be doing it for very long. As Broly's energy sizzled lively over his hand, the warrior's body seemed to vanish. His image hung in mid air whilst he sprang around his ally's body at breakneck speeds, also spinning around Rex's before finally attacking.

His body reappeared just behind the Human, his hand cocked just next to his head as his snarl twisted into a sadistic grin. The grin itself was enough to make a child wet the bed, but it was now coupled with one of the warrior's most fatal attacks. He had only shown it to one living creature, and even then he had escaped by little more than the skin of his teeth. As Broly plunged his blade downward, he aimed hard for where the center of the man's chest should have been. If he could pierce through the soft underbelly on the other side of his opponent, there was no way he'd have survived. He'd suffer both entrance and exit wounds should the stab be successful, and even if it didn't succeed-- Broly was never a man to stab just once. Bringing his other arm swinging in from the side, he quickly released a jet of energy from it. This was the same technique he had used upon his other hand, this time in the hopes of cutting his opponent's head off. He did not play games.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ryouji 4/22/2012, 10:50 pm

Ryouji’s arms fell to his side as he began to sway from side to side. The technique he had just unleashed to a major toll on his body. Never before had he fought in a battle that lasted this long; he was getting tired. The boy could sense a power being extinguished as his technique reached the peak of its power. It was the weakest one, Ian Lancaster. Finally, he had destroyed the man who challenged his authority.

The light from his explosive shockwave slowly faded away. Ryouji could see that he along with his comrade was standing in the center of a large crater atop a tall rock pillar. The water from the ocean quickly flowed over the edge, filling the hole with the salty liquid.

His body was getting weak, not so much from the damage he had taken, in fact he hadn’t taken very much, but more so from fatigue. The muscles in his arms and legs were beginning to lose the magic that were infused within them, weakening their overall strength. This battle was getting incredibly difficult. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be a quick fight. In fact the original combatants have already died, but so many more had joined in the fray.

“Honey, I'm home! Did you miss me?”

Looking up he could see the flaming man staring at him. He was just hovering there, above the crater with a look of determination on his face. Suddenly his fists started to pump back and forth, like pistons in a high powered engine, the punches hit the boy with an intense force. With every punch, his body shook. The intense fiery aura around the man increased the agony of the bombardment. They weren’t the strongest punches Ryouji had taken, after all he had been on the receiving end of Broly’s fists before, but they were incredibly fast. The bruises forming on his body only intensified the feeling, each punch feeling stronger than the last.

With a punch to the side of his face, Ryouji’s gaze shifted downward, to the bottom of the large hole. That’s when he saw it, a skinless red creature with sharp pointed claws and grotesque features. It was slowly starting to be swallowed up by the water that was filling the hole. That was where Ian was. Could that be Lancaster? The shredded clothes resembled that of the businessman, but the look of his body was certainly not human.

That’s when Ryouji saw it, the body had moved. It may have just been the refraction of light on the water, but he could have sworn it moved. Was Lancaster still alive? If he wasn’t then why the appearance change? Did it help him survive the blast? Whatever it was, Ryouji wouldn’t let the man go without his ashes in an urn on his mantle. He will destroy Ian Lancaster. This next assault would be the one to accomplish just that.

Ryouji looked back to his attacker, who was still pummeling him with his fists. The anger started to flow through the boy, numbing the agony each punch inflicted. He roared as his energy flared up around him. The magic that flowed through his veins grew hot. He could feel is connection with the Realm of Magic increase significantly.

That is when Broly appeared behind the man, ready to make the killing blow. Ryouji need not worry about that man any longer. If Broly was serious, the man wouldn’t be around much longer.

Ryouji took the first chance he got and escaped the pummeling, heading straight for where the creature lay under the water. It hadn’t had time to fill up completely and his figure could still be seen underneath the two feet of water. Ryouji flew until he was just above the creature and then with a burst of energy flew directly downward with his palms pointed at the man. A large purple magic circle appeared just below his hands. It spun wildly as a mass of energy formed at its center. The beam went straight down and into the water. The water spread in all directions as the beam of energy pierced the water’s surface.

Ryouji wasn’t going to let at all ride on that one attack, he was determined to finish Ian off before he could react. He cut off the beam and rushed toward the man in the crater. Hopefully this combination would destroy Lancaster once and for all. He wanted his land back.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Rex could feel all four of his knuckles throbbing in quiet pain. It was the good sort of pain, the type that brought a warrior satisfaction. It meant each one of his punches had met its mark. There was no other joy greater than that one. He watched the boy surge with power. He was mad now.

Good, Rex thought. Maybe he will finally hit me back. But, the boy didn't. Instead he turned and flew off, to attack a carcass lying at the bottom of the crater that was quickly filling with sea water.

“Really, you little shit,” Rex said and sighed in frustration. He hated having to chase people around just to kill them.

He felt a slight stir behind him, as if the atmosphere itself had shifted. Turning, he saw the big man, his hands charged with a crackling blade of emerald energy. Had Rex not have turned, the blade would have went straight through his heart. Instead it cut a swath through the armor on his lower torso. He felt the excruciating burning sensation as energy disintegrated the Flexweave plating and drove into the soft tissue beneath. Blood poured out, quickly turning to steam from the heat of the blade. The wound was immediately cauterized, sealing the damage inside.

Rex knew many of his internal organs were nothing more than charred mush at this point. He gritted his teeth, blood pouring out of his teeth and mouth. The big man came in for a second attack, a slash this time. Re hunched over, puking up sticky crimson blood. The blade sizzled past taking a hunk out of his scalp and also lobbing off both of his extra arms.

Even though they were not the arms he was born with, the pain still lit him up like a light bulb. Their power was still active, therefore they were still a living part of his body, with nerves and everything. He let out a roar, as the agony coursed through him, causing him to visibly shudder. He watched the limbs fall into the churning maelstrom of sea water below, a trail of blood raining down behind them.

With a pulse of spiritual energy Rex launched himself back out of the big man's deadly range. He wasn't about to take anymore hits from the bastard. Within seconds he had went from being rather healthy to half dead.

“You really have some balls,” Rex said and spat out blood. His teeth were stained with it. “Fucking with me was probably your biggest mistake. You really wanna protect that kid? Well, guess what, you both are dead men now.”

He suddenly erupted in laughter. “What was it you said earlier? …Oh, right you said you're a god?”

Bolts of crimson electricity began to unfurl from his form, thunder ripping through the atmosphere as he drew upon his power.

“I've seen a god. Why do you think I called your bluff? That god gave me just a fraction of his true power, in exchange for my service. Allow me to show it to you. I can't wait to see you tremble like the sewer rat you are.”

The sky darkened as black clouds began to accumulate. Red lightning began to fall around them. Rex's body swelled, his muscles doubling in size within seconds. He let out a roar, his voice cracking under the strain of the transformation he was about to undergo.

Red lines began to spread like a spiderweb across his flesh. His eyes shifted from their natural blue, turning black with shimmering red irises. Jagged spines popped out of the sides of his arms and from his shoulders. His jaw bone shifted and stretched, his front teeth elongating into fangs that dripped with an insidious acid.

He let out second bout of laughter, his voice no longer that of a human. It was deep, like the thunder that tore though the atmosphere above.

With his right hand he grabbed one of the spines on his arm and yanked as hard as he could. It tore free with a sickening crunch, like the sound of a bug popping under underneath a heavy boot. With both hands he gripped the spine and snapped it in two. Opening his mouth, he brought the spine up. A long blue tongue unfurled, licking up green ooze dripping from its core. It was sweet sustenance, the blood of Master.

Its effects were immediate. He felt it course over him, renewing the fatigue that had set into his body. He also felt himself crackling with anticipation, ready to unleash hell upon his enemies. A hell they had no idea existed.

With the power of Master at his disposal, Rex was ready for round two.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Izon 4/23/2012, 8:30 pm

Ian, now Izon laid there, the water covering his body. So far so... what the hell? His mind was open and blank which allowed the minds of the others enter in freely. His abilities of being able to read minds seemed to not be limited concentrating. Except he could only seem to hear inner dialogue. The brat, he was talking to himself. It was broken, but he was worried. What was he worried about. His eyes shot open as the area lit up. The thoughts were delayed and the boy was already attacking. A beam of energy came at him. He had no time to react. He rolled over and curled up into a ball. He let his ki loose, allowing his strength to return. He needed protection since obviously playing dead wasn't gonna work with this brat.

The wave hit, removing any water that had covered him. He could feel his skin burn and blister under the energy. He gritted his teeth as he he fought against the pain. He can take this. He's taken worst when he went to hell! He can take this.

It let up and he looked up as the brat rushed at him. He brought up his arms and cried out as the boy plowed into him. He had been shoved deeper into the ground, the ground giving way to the pressure. He was hurt bad and still didn't have the power to really react very well. Once the boy got off him, he stood up and stretched out his wings. They had been unharmed, only his right side and forearms had sustained the damage. His right side was in pain from the burns that covered in. His muscles were tight, making it difficult to move quickly, though it didn't matter. He was having a hard time dodging these things anyway.

He rose into the air, to the boy's height and grinned the best he could, which was no real change. No lips meant he wasn't able to smile or frown. It was just an ugly face of teeth and deep black eyes.

His aura erupted around him as he also unleashed his pent up rage. He howled in anger as his aura exploded around him, increasing his overall power. The boy would die, he would make sure of it. He looked at him with his deeply set black eyes.

"Do you now understand what you hath gotten yourselth into?" Speaking was hard. He almost forgotten about that. The last time he spoke, Frieza damn neared died of laughter. Instead, from this point on, he reached into their minds and sent them messages. I can't be killed. I am immortal. I am death. If you plead for forgiveness, I may let you live. And who knows, I may even extend to you my offer you so rudely turned down. The voice was gruff and deep. Not anything like he had when he was human.

Ian was in pain though he wasn't going to let anyone else know it. He was a demon. What demon shows weakness. None that he'd seen. His own anger seemed to offset what he was losing, which was a benefit for him, but he knew it wouldn't last. Not for very long anyway.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ava 4/24/2012, 3:19 pm

Ava watched over her shoulder as the Shockwave reached its maximum size and stayed there for a few seconds. Then it began to fade way into nothingness. She stopped Nimbus and watched from a good ten kilometres away as she began to regroup. It was so quite. She kind of quiet that came before a storm or death. It was eerily still and calm. Nothing good could have come from that attack. She could use some of this time to rest and gather her wits. She closed her eyes and began looking for ki signatures and survivors.

Rex, the boy with bug arms was still there, and so were Broly and the purple haired boy. But there was something new there now. In fact, there were two new power signatures on the battle field. Rex was there but somehow, he seemed, different. He seemed to be more savage and unrestrained. Dangerous was the right word.

And Ian well, Ian was in league of his own. He had clearly died when his ki signature faded into dust but now, he was back, different but back. She felt something in her snap; just it had when she had been placed under Ian’s spell. Her eyes began to fade back to their normal colour and they were no longer glazed over. She looked down at the puffy yellow cloud she was sitting on and blinked a few times. Then she looked back up at the battle field. There was a major threat here now and she had to investigate again.

“Back to the battle, Nimbus. Slowly, I need to see what the hell’s going on first.” She ordered her little yellow cloud and he began slowly making his way back to the battle ground.

As she neared the fight, she saw that Broly was near Rex and had stabbed him with some kind of technique, but Rex had transformed into some hideous creature with spikes protruding through his skin. He was a demon of some sort, and had to be stopped.

She looked down below and saw that the purple haired boy had his hands full too. It was Ian, but not Ian. Ian was gone, and in his place was monster of unknown aptitude and power potential. He was a demon now. She sighed.

“Another demon.” She added.

Suddenly there was a connection made in her head by Ian.

“I can't be killed. I am immortal. I am death. If you plead for forgiveness, I may let you live. And who knows, I may even extend to you my offer you so rudely turned down.” He said, in a very un-human like voice.

She sighed. It was true then. Ian was a demon. She had quite literally made a deal with the devil and for what, a cup of tea. A cup of tea she didn’t even get to taste.

“Demons… why the hell are there demons on my planet…” she asked herself.

As the strongest, she had taken on the solitary task of being the Protector of Earth until another pure heart rose up and took over from her. But now, she was in trouble. There were two demons here, both of which needed to be put down. She looked at Broly who seemed to be unhurt from all that she had thrown at him. He was a Saiyan and capable of much power and strength. She knew that if they were pushed to their limit, they could easily improve on the fly, pushing past the limit and rising to the challenge. She saw the purple haired boy and wondered what his motivation was. Money, power, greed, either way he had chosen the right partner, thus making him the brains of the outfit. She didn’t know what she would do when she got there, but all she knew was she needed to protect the Earth, and stop the demons.

But who to choose first? Ian was close to his limit and would probably easily go down in the next scuffle. But Rex was settling in for a long haul. Broly was outclassed, whether he would admit it or not. She didn’t want to be responsible for the death of another Saiyan.

“Okay Nimbus, get me to Broly.” She ordered him and at break neck speed they rushed towards Broly, sneaking up on Rex.

She held out her hands, channelling her ki up into her hands. While Nimbus silently snuck up on the Rex demon, she created a ring blinding white ki. As she neared Rex, she hurled it out at him suddenly, aim to have it would wrap around him, pinning his arms against his torso, trapping him for a while. If this worked he would be trapped for a few minutes, allowing her and Broly to take him down.

She felt bad for betraying Lancaster, but his spell and hold over her died with his human body and she needed to think about her planet now. The two demons were by far, the biggest threats here now.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Broly 4/24/2012, 4:06 pm

Broly broke in out genuine, almost maniacal laughter. This man was honestly trying to intimidate him? How fucking pathetic. The human couldn't have been less intimidating if he tried to be; no matter how large a fly got, it was still a fly. It was for that chain of thinking, that his words had been lost upon the Legendary Warrior. He was more concerned with the other warriors on the battlefield. It appeared that the Female was starting to work her way back after the Shock Wave, and Ryouji was darting away from him. That was something he couldn't have. Taking in a deep, laughter laced breath, the warrior turned his head away from Rex's boasting in order to catch track of the child. If the child continued the way he was, his body would give out before anything else did. Oh god; if that child seriously passed out from damage on the battlefield, their alliance would be over before he woke up. So would his damn life, by the tone of the other warriors here. 'Tsk'ing as his body suddenly broke from the sands, Broly sprang off to catch the youth before he did something retarded. He knew that he had to give him some aid, in order to both keep some type of teamwork and to make sure he lived.

Those were both things that Broly happened to be very inexperienced with. He had never really worked in a team before. He had slaughtered teams, massacred teams, broken teams, killed leaders; yet he had never worked in one. Now that he was supposed to be aiding Ryouji, it made things much harder. He had to worry about the boy's welfare while fighting in the battle, otherwise he would be swarmed by insects. Though he doubted they would have been able to kill him, or put him down for the count, he realized that enough bee stings could kill a man. Still, to kill a man like Broly, it would take a shit load of Bee Stings. He was not to be felled like some common warrior who got his ass kicked every day, he would either go down in a blaze of glory and fire...Or he'd kill everything here, excluding the child. He had no qualms with glassing a beach. In fact, glassing was one of his favorite experiences. Heating the sand so much that it literally solidified, doing the opposite of what one may have expected. The effect was usually for himself, as the people he glassed usually died with the beaches, but if he could get the shock effect it would have been a welcome bonus.

As his body dashed over the sand, bee lining for the child with the purple hair. He could care less for the demon that the boy seemed to be so intent on killing, he was now growing concerned with a rising power level behind him. That human was transforming; his body shifting and changing audibly in an attempt to raise his strength enough. Though Broly could feel his energy being slowly outclassed, he cared little. His feet slammed into the sand, sending a jet of of the substance into the air to shower down into the water that had been lapping lazily onto the shore. His eyes were immediately drawn to the monstrous fucking thing that Rex was becoming; so much for the cowboy. This thing was about as far from Human as one could become, biologically. It was covered in spines and spikes that he was now starting to break off, forcing the warrior to smile brightly. This was Broly's genuine smile; it had no secondary meaning. It implied that he had finally found a power worth engaging; a strength worth acknowledging. That itself was a rare occurrence, but to meet one on this shit-bowl of a planet?

As the blade on his left hand fizzled into air, he slowly extended it toward Ryouji's general direction. A green jet of energy left his palm before disappearing in a flash of gem-like light. It was honing in on his ally, hopefully giving him a rush of what he needed. The technique itself was meant to heal a warrior of Broly's caliber, so hopefully it would aid the little man greatly. It had certainly reduced the level of fatigue that Broly had been feeling, though he had been refusing to acknowledge it. He knew that he would be overcome by his own body's failings if things continued the way they were going. That was something he would not let happen. However, with his excitement rising and the prospect of death finally becoming visible, Broly was provoked to reply to the former cowboy's words with a trademark mixture of malice and excitement. He was not known for being the Lollipop King, after all. He wasn't going to sound fucking happy as he worded his response, which was also worded in typical Broly fashion. In actuality, it was something the last warrior who had opposed him had spoken.

"Hahahahahah! You think you've got power, Human!? You think that puny transformation will be helping you?! If you want some, come fucking get some! If you think you're man enough? Come take some!"

The words were lead by laughter, breaking free of the Saiyan's body in a deep rumble as the female arrived back onto the battlefield, apparently jumping to his aid in order to strike against the human. Broly himself did not care for her interference, but he would say nothing. It was within possibility that the human would finish her off and finally rid the world of her forever. Lord knew that that would have been a blessing.

Brandishing his remaining ki blade as Broly stepped forward, the warrior kept his eyes trained upon the human before him. He was not afraid to go for a third stab, though he doubted the technique would be useful after that. He had already lost his element of surprise.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ryouji 4/24/2012, 7:26 pm

Ryouji felt the cold mist hit his face as he rocketed toward Ian. He watched as his first attacked had hit its target enveloping the creature that lay in a ball. No sooner had the energy faded from his last attack than the boy collided with his opponent. A loud crack echoed throughout the area as the ground gave way to the powerful force of his rush attack. The water that was filling the crater now poured down into the Earth, through several large cracks in the ground. How far they had penetrated, Ryouji wasn’t sure, but all he knew was that he was tired.

Ryouji took to the sky once again in order to catch his breath. The collision with Ian had caused the bruises on his body to start to swell. His energy was nearly all gone and if things continued on the path as they did, things weren’t going to end well.

Suddenly, Ryouji felt a rush of relief as his body was enveloped in a green aura. His body and face, which was covered in a plethora of bruises started to fade away. The lumps and swelling started to subside and the pain inflicted by the seemingly endless pummeling he took earlier was almost completely gone.

Ryouji looked to the source off his aid to see Broly extending his arm in his direction, lending his power in order to heal the boy’s body. The young man was astounded by this act. Broly had surely come a long way since he had first met him that one evening in the forest. Back then, he didn’t ever think things through and always rushed into battle without a second thought, but now, now he was beginning to think of the endgame. It was a strange thought, Broly thinking, but it was a relief. He knew that Broly would not be so careless like he used to be and this calmed the boy a little.

Behind Broly, Ryouji could see the flaming man hovering, his flames now extinguished, but his power rising. He could see the man transforming into something, unhuman. His bones seemed to shift and bend within his body, something that looked incredibly painful, and then several spines sprouted from his shoulders and arms. His face morphed into something more beast like. Just what was this guy? Was the boy the only person who was normal on this planet?

Then, Ryouji felt another power coming from just below. He saw Ian floating up to his level, his head sunk low. Once the man had reached Ryouji’s height his head shot up and he roared. A burst of energy surrounded the man; his power swirling around him like a torrent of flame in the night sky. The boy would have been impressed if he hadn’t look so hideous. He could see the creature more clearly now and using the word grotesque was being kind.

Was he some sort of demon masquerading as a human? That’s what it seemed like to the boy. Why was it that everyone, him including, hid behind a mask? Broly was the only person he knew that reveled in his own truth. Perhaps it was dumb of him to show off his power so carefree, but it was refreshing to the boy to know that the man he called a comrade had no hidden agenda.

Ryouji noticed Ava slowly approaching Broly and the once flaming man. He had to strike a deal with her. She may have come into this battle to assist Lancaster, but the man she once knew has died and a demon took his place. If they didn’t work together the might that is the flaming man would certainly overpower them all.

‘Ava,’ Ryouji sent a telepathic message to the woman as she began her own attack on the pair of warriors. ’the man known as Ian Lancaster is dead. If you want to survive this battle you must listen to me.’ Ryouji knew that even if Broly hated it, they could only win against this new threat if they worked together. ’It is not you we are after, Broly wants only a challenge and this battle has given him that. I simply want to eliminate the roach Lancaster from this world. Aid us and you gain the favor of our alliance as well as our neutral status toward you.’

The deed was done. All Ryouji had to do now is to do away with his rival. The man was a coward, he hid from battle and as cowards were the worst kind of scum, he was not permitted to live. He and the rest of his kind had to be purged from this world if the boy’s reality was to be created. The boy turned his gaze back to Ian, the man had to be dealt with and quick.

The boy reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bag. Inside of it was a single bean. Ryouji tossed it in his mouth and munched on it. The bruises quickly vanished, and any marking on his body from previous attack where completely gone. He was reinvigorated with a passion and a power that only one of true faith can possess.

Ryouji raised up his palm just in front of him. This time there was no magic circle, this time his entire body lit up with strange markings and spherical shapes. The markings were of incredible brightness as their light could be seen through his clothes. The boy’s eyes also lit up in the most brilliant of light. His connection to the Realm of Magic was complete. He could feel the power run through his veins. As a small orb of sparkling light formed right above his open palm, the sphere itself was summoned through the Ninth Gate of the Realm of Magic. Its power is said to be so strong that it could kill both body and soul, hence its name, Soul Punisher.

With a burst of purple light, Ryouji vanished only to reappear behind the demon his hand outstretched. The ball stood only meters away from the target, and with a crack of bright light the orb was shot forward. It was with this attack, Ryouji hoped to end it.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Goku 4/25/2012, 1:00 pm

In in his transformed state, Rex's body was thrumming with power. Occasionally, a bolt of crimson lightning would leap off his body and discharge into the blackened clouds above. The blood of Master was within him, he was closer to him now. So much so that he could nearly feel Master's thoughts seeping into his own, like a wretched black ichor.

Kill... k-k—killl... The message, though faded and far away, was clear enough for Rex. Master demanded blood. And Rex was going to spill it.

The big man had ran off to heal his little friend. Rex had watched the whole time. He chuckled to himself. They could heal all they wanted. He'd just tear them in half. Sure, most of the beat down he had given to the purple hair kid had just been erased, but with Master's power inside of him, he could deliver an apocalypse upon the Earth if he so wished.

With little warning a buzzing ring of golden energy slipped around him and pulled tight like a noose, crushing both arms to his side. He roared as he felt the pressure on his ribcage. If he didn't break free it would keep constricting his body until he was nothing more than mush. He twisted around, spotting the female Saiyan skating away on some little puffy cloud.

“You dirty wench! I thought I killed you. Do you think this puny ring can destroy me?”

The pain was increasing and his arms started to go numb. The pressure on his chest was immense, he could barely take a breath—they were nothing more than low wheezes. Gritting his teeth he flexed his muscles and ripped his arms outward, stretching the ring to its breaking point. It eventually snapped like a rubber band, sending dozens of miniature energy balls plummeting into the frothy sea below.

The entirety of Rex's torso hurt. If he didn't heal his wounds soon, he would be dead before long. Despite all the power he had gained, he was still mortal, and still made of flesh and bone.

"You think you've got power, Human!? You think that puny transformation will be helping you?! If you want some, come fucking get some! If you think you're man enough? Come take some!"

Rex craned his neck towards the sound that had just entered his ears. He couldn't believe the audacity of the big man. Yes, he was tough, and from what Rex could tell quite powerful. But, compared to the power of Master, he was nothing more than an insect. That is, a puny helpless ant who was eager to be squashed by the giant that stood before him.

Black spiritual energy began to pour from the surface of his body until he was drenched in it. It leaped up like the flames of hell, scorching the skies in a riptide of pure darkness. The activity of the crimson electricity picked up, hundreds of bolts skipping through the clouds and over the entire battlefield. He let out a battle cry that was equivalent to a sonic boom. The immense spiritual pressure behind it caused the clouds to disperse above and the radiant sunlight to break through the cracks, illuminating everything with its warm glow.

He pulled the black energy back within himself, channeling it to his right fist, which was clenched tight. He compressed the energy, until only his hand was wreathed in the black flames. The earth began to shudder beneath the sea below, lava filling the cracks spreading out from the massive crater. They moved out in all directions forming what looked like a super-heated spiderweb.

A single bolt of crimson lighting hit his fist and the flames turned from black to a bright red, rising up like a fire that just had gasoline thrown on it.

“The power of Master is mine!” Rex called out. He glanced down at the big man, his lips peeling back, revealing wicked fangs beneath. In a flicker of motion, he vanished from sight.

When he re-appeared again, he was only a foot or two away from the big man. He cocked his fist back as he closed the small gap and then thrust it forward. The crimson flames leaped from his fist, forming into a long serpentine black dragon with blood red eyes and scales of ash and flame. It let out a roar that could shatter the heavens as it attempted to coil its massive body around the big man and trap him, as Rex tried to plunge straight through him with his fist.

Malice filled his eyes. There would be blood, one way or another.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Izon 4/27/2012, 12:09 am

His body felt warm. It felt light. The world seemed to turn brighter and glitter floated up. What was happening? He felt strange, almost at peace. His pain was leaving him. He was no longer tired. He raised his hand and caught a fleck of the glitter. It vanished. Then his own fingers started to vanish. What was going on.

He looked at Ryouji who was behind him, tired, but still standing. Izon looked down as his torso. There was a massive hole that just got wider and wider with each passing second. All he could do was laugh as he looked at the boy.

"You may have won today boy. Enjoy your victory. Go have a drink. Celebrate. Then prepare. I will return, and when I do, count your days short." His legs and arms vanishished and he gave one final grin before everything vanished, leaving only a train of glitter that soon vanished.

He would return for sure. It wasn't the first time he had died. And he was sure he wouldn't be getting a warm welcome when he returned either. But at least his "mistress" and the demon he conspired with were dead. So that was at least something he wouldn't have to worry about. He would need to make sure Cira takes over, though he was sure Cira would already know he was dead. He was always good at anticipating what he needed.

There was nothing left where he was, but through the air was a final laught and "prepare boy. Prepare." Then not even a sound was left from him. He would return promised. His own death would give him ample time to prepare himself. And he would aim to kill the brat when he returned. Maybe he’d find someone willing to do it for him.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Broly 4/27/2012, 1:49 am

As the man's fist became engulfed in a flame that could have been made of pure darkness, Broly felt his eyes subtly widen. Something was forcing this man's strength to grow, forcing his power to continue to skyrocket. For the first time in his life, the Legendary Saiyan was feeling as though he may be in some danger. All signs in his body were screaming to him, trying to get through and deliver his brain one single message: Get the fuck out of there! He refused to listen to the shaking in his legs, the tingling in his spine that set him apart from the rest at this moment. He knew he was the target, who else had provoked this stupid cowboy so much? Ava had only managed to piss him off with her ring of energy, but mere moments prior Broly had managed to separate him from two of his limbs. Coincidentally, it had seemed that the man didn't really need them anymore in order to kick ass. Mind, that was no comforting thought for Broly, but at least if things went south he wouldn't be needing thought anymore. This was easily capable of dealing him fatal damage.

He had never before faced his own mortality. No situation had ever driven him to the point of breaking, or even gotten him close to such a feeling. But this man's strength; it was overwhelming, it was still growing and it'd be all his to deal with in the coming moments. Was this what true power felt like? Was this the power he had always been trying to emulate, become an example of? That would not be shocking. The shocking part was the place he'd found it; on the shores of some beach on the Planet Earth, the Galaxy's mudhole. The man was so powerful lightning was being drawn to his body, proving that he was a conductor for pure and raw power. It was drawn to him naturally, a byproduct of the energy he was putting off. As Broly's spine continued to tingle, the man produced two glistening fangs; those fangs would dwell in the warrior's mind for the rest of his life. This would prove the closest he had ever come to death, as if there had ever been any doubt about it. It was obvious that this thing was in a class of it's own, strength wise. The fire, that wicked and dancing flame was proof enough.

Broly felt his body tense, when the man's words ceased their demonic echo over the airwaves. To him, it was as if the former cowboy had never stopped shouting. Master? Was there someone who commanded such a power? The Saiyan was forced briefly to think of the child; so they were somewhat like Broly and Ryouji? How surprisingly petty. That man's master had needed the strength of this thing, the speed of that other bitch to emulate power? Something in that thought proved comforting; the fact that they had required so much simply to threaten a warrior of Broly's caliber. However, there was something else in that thought that the Saiyan had not yet identified with. In the moments to come, it would strike him like lightning (along with other things), and provide him with a startling moment of revelation only surpassed by the one he'd had when the man reached the height of his power. Before it hit him, the man disappeared from his place, forcing the hum of energy and the crackle of flames even closer to the warrior who stood shaking in his boots. He was like a scared child, being shown a storm on the horizon. It looked so foreboding and terrifying...at the time.

As the man's body appeared about a foot and a half away from the Saiyan's, Broly felt his entire body tense. The man was so damn close! How had he managed to close the gap so quickly?! Was his entire ability set increasing to match that rocket-like power he held? Broly had barely the time to blink before he launched his body to the sand, hoping to evade whatever strike was to be coming his way. It wasn't that he was planning to attack the man's feet, or that he was going to be able to do some magnificent plan from that position-- it was simply all he could think of. It was his pure instinct, kicking in with an attempt to keep him alive. He had few other options other than to force his left shoulder to the ground, hoping to salvage his heart and left arm. Unfortunately, he was not the luckiest of warriors. Broly, despite the amount of lives he'd taken and the battles he had managed to win, was soon to experience one of the most traumatizing moments of his lifetime. This would surpass the subconscious damage that his father had managed to inflict on his mind, the extreme physical pain of being stung by the mightiest of fists. It was fear and pain.

The dangerous duo that had been his killing motif, now turned against him in one dangerous strike of lightning and pure fucking power. Was this what his victims felt like? Their minds so filled with unreadable static that no thoughts were capable of surviving? Were they forced to dwell on pure instinct and given other than the crackle of ki as foreshadowing to their fate? As Broly's eyes caught site of the man's fist, which was now closing in on his body, h knew that little else could be true. He was genuinely trying to destroy Broly with all of his might. However, the range at which he was attacking would prove to be a hindrance to his plan. Not that Broly would have noticed at the moment, or that he'd have been able to detect something like that; this was a note he would make in hindsight, when reflecting on how his life had managed to come out little worse for the wear that day. Well, depending on one's definition of the phrase anyway. He would be missing something key to his body, a portion of himself he would never quite have back.

The dragon ripped free of Rex's arm, exploding across the sand to tear Broly apart. He would not let this happen! Keeping both of his soulless pitch black eyes open, the warrior used energy to accelerate his dash toward the sand in an attempt to keep himself alive. The dragon simply looked so foreboding; so dangerous and so fucking painful that he had little other things going through his mind. Adrenaline was surging through his body, his fight or flight survival instinct instilled in all Saiyans by evolution; it was now telling him to fly or die. Broly, though fool hardy, was not completely stupid. He could not take this man at this precise moment in time; this attack was merely too powerful for him to stomach. It hadn't even hit him yet but it felt as though a year's worth of fear and terror was catching up to him in a little under instant. His throat had been halfway through swallowing an otherwise audible gulp when the attack made contact. It followed the path of Rex's fist, which was now level with Broly's chest. Had he been even a fraction faster, the warrior would have been torn apart then and there.

Unfortunately, Broly's body had the spare half-second of fall time. The crimson dragon exploded through the right side of his chest, taking out a fair portion of his body. To others, it would appear as though he had been bitten by a large and unwieldy creature. To the warriors at this beach? They would remember the moment without difficulty. Broly had been hit by a warrior whose love of pure violence and destruction obviously rivaled his own. Though he would never admit to such a thing, it was undeniably true. Thanks to whatever master controlled Rex, he was imbued with some incredible need to fucking kill things. As Broly's eyes were drawn to the blood flowing freely from the area of his chest where his shoulder had been only a second prior. He felt a shake, the tremble of fear once more rocking his body before he could hit the sand and be jogged awake. Surely this was a nightmare? What else could it have been, where Broly was felled by a being of such insignificance? It wasn't as though this thing had a true purpose; it was guided by a man who required two warriors to match Broly's one.

That was it; the crowning moment of realization that had kicked him into gear. He was not outmatched by this thing, he was simply shocked. Rex's master had required two warriors to even bring him this close to death; no way would he cross the brink for anything less than a warrior who was his fucking equal. He would have nothing of that division bullshit. He was not a math test, to be conquered simply by knowing how to do your addition and subtraction. Broly himself cared little for the subject of math and this moment was not adding to his good feelings on the topic. After all, he had just been subtracted a shoulder and an arm, both of them consumed by a dragon of pure energy produced by the warrior before him. His own energy had barely put up a fight, simply fizzling out as Rex's overwhelmed it. He couldn't blame it, really. His power had simply been out done for the moment. For the moment. Broly could feel his legendary power rising up inside of him from the attack, and he knew immediately that he was not to be felled by such a petty cause upon this beach.

Energy burst forth from his wound, cauterizing it as if it were such an easy task to accomplish. He felt the searing burn upon his own flesh, for once noticing the pain that was truly racking his body. However, it was not in his blood to be defeated with such haphazardly guided power. Rex was clearly unaware of the gaping fucking hole this left them both in. Unbeknownst to the monstrosity before him, Broly was well known for getting out of holes. Cocking his remaining arm back to his waist in mid fall, the warrior brought his left hand back. This was going to be fucking tricky. Energy erupted from the front of his body as he flew backward over the sand, hoping to escape the blast radius of the technique he was about to unleash. This would leave him in a very vulnerable position, but hopefully nothing worse than he could handle. He would not settle for killing himself in battle against this thing. Though, he doubted his own energy would do so much harm to him. Broly was a determined bastard.

A small portion of energy broke free of his aura as he flew, kicking up a wave of sand to blind the warrior as he moved. Hopefully, this would eradicate the bastard before he had a chance to recover from the extent of his own personal wounds. Broly knew now that taking an attack from Ava would not be so easy; he remembered a time when she had been truly threatening to him. He remembered her fucking power; raw, dangerous and refined. She would be able to capitalize and conquer this bastard if he wasn't. He would come out on top if it killed him! At the very least, he would do what he was supposed to do as a Saiyan Warrior (a task surprisingly in line with his current purpose)... and that was to take out all warriors standing.

The ball of emerald light that had been condensing in Broly's hand was suddenly whipped out toward the ground in front of Rex's feet, hoping to detonate at that moment and consume all in a blinding flash of power. However, it was as the blast was released that Broly felt the fatigue begin to effect him. He had little else left; this man's attack had managed to take out the majority of his power. Even the blast itself was likely weaker than it should have been, considering how strong the one he'd used to kill the bitch was. That had been a perfect example of his power; but there was a difference between this and the last. This one was backed by an all consuming rage, a singular determined attempt to consume that motherfucker before he himself was consumed. Hopefully, the boy would be able to understand, but as for the others...There was no chance that they would. They had never experienced any of Broly's anger. As the warrior's body made contact with the warm sands once more, it rolled backward; he was unable to control himself enough to land properly.

Rolling and flipping over the sand, Broly eventually brought his body to a halt. He forced himself onto his knees, panting and breathing as raggedly as he had ever done before. He had somehow lost so much power in the last few seconds; so much of his mighty power. He wouldn't have been shocked if either the boy or the woman turned on him at this point; for Broly was near done. Any more contact with this Rex thing and he may have been finished. Nothing had ever pushed him so close to a breaking point before in his fucking life. Not a damn thing...so it was not shocking that he could only manage two words of defiance, two words to summon up his entire experience in this battle so far. This was not something he would regret, nor was it something he'd remember very well.

NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball) - Page 2 Empty Re: NPC Battle: Izon vs Ralia (One Star Dragonball)

Post by Ryouji 4/28/2012, 12:28 am

It was a beautiful sight to behold; the vibrancy of the colors, the brilliant shape and the sheer destructive power. It was a power only found in the Realm of Magic and Ryouji was the one to bring its amazing destructive force into our reality. He had defied the laws of physics and had tapped into the spiritual plane with such perfection that the very act of wielding such a destructive technique challenge the gods own power.

Now that technique lies inside of Ian, ripping his demonic body to shreds from the inside out. It was a horrid thing, the way the man’s own body was ripped from the inside out. Yet a gruesome sight it may have been, the power itself was a wonderful spectacle, almost unimaginable to most before now.

Ian spoke something about Ryouji having to watch himself, but the boy paid it little heed. For the purple haired youth, the means do justify the ends. It matters little to him just how things are done to get his way, as long as he sees results. Perhaps this is what attracted the fiends that ally themselves with him. Perhaps it is the very reason it is why those that are desperate seek his counsel. The only thing that matters to Ryouji, was that of winning, of creating a perfect reality where he, along with all those who ally themselves with him, will stand among the mass of corpses in a tower that stands higher than the rest.

As the body before him faded away, Ryouji couldn’t help but grin. He had killed a man; a man that troubled him greatly. Not only will he be keeping his view of the city, but the feeling of the power over someone’s life now ran through his veins. As a token of his victory, the boy snatched the piece of cloth that nearly blew away from its fading master.

Ryouji could sense it; the power of that cloth. It held some sort of magical energy, almost as if it came from the Realm of Magic itself. Just what was this thing? What was it that gave it such an ominous feeling? Whatever this article of clothing may be, its identity would have to wait, there was still a battle going on.

Ryouji looked to his comrade to see him hovering right in front of the one flaming man. He looked tired, fatigued. At first Ryouji looked around for Ava. Just where did she go? Did the pummeling that she took earlier catch up with her? That is when he saw it; an attack so fearsome, so lethal only one word could describe it. Death. A large black dragon that looked to be summoned from the deepest circles of hell itself appeared. It rushed at Broly with an incredible killing intent.

Ryouji couldn’t believe his eyes. Broly was incredibly strong but to endure an attack like that was on another level all together. His arm and shoulder were completely obliterated by the energy presented by the dragon’s immense power, but his comrade was ready to launch his own attack and by the glowing green orb he held in his hand it was going to be one to remember.

With his connection still strong with the Realm of Magic, he had to launch his attack again, but this time at the man who stood in the way. If this man were to be eliminated, then nothing would stop the rise of his inquisition.

First things first, he needed his ally to survive the battle and for that he had Chiyu. Ryouji looked over to the angelic beast still hovering above the pillar. With a nod of his head he signaled for Chiyu to use her single most powerful technique. Her wings spread out as a pillar of white light pierced through the clouds and surrounded her. She slowly started to fade away into a purple silhouette of her former self. This was her true form, the rawest form of power in all reality. That is when another pillar came down from above the clouds. It wrapped up Broly in its warming embrace and slowly Chiyu started to fade away; her time with our world cut short. This was her trump card, a sacrifice of herself to help another; the ultimate divine gift.

As Broly was being healed by Chiyu, Ryouji reached into his pocket and grabbed a set of beads. He closed his eyes and started chanting under his breath. Slowly the beads began to crack and crumble, releasing a small plume of smoke with each one. As the smoke entered his nostrils, the boy felt a strange power slowly building inside him. These beads would help launch his next assault with little effort.

Ryouji’s eyes shot open and with a quick glance at the man who was about to die. His connection with the Magic Realm made him crave the use of magic. The shimmering orb started to form above his palm once again as the symbols on his body lit up. He wanted to use it, he needed to use it. With every pulse of energy that ran through his arm, a small pleasurable sensation shot up his body. The connection was an addiction, one that he had no problem with having.

With a burst of speed Ryouji appeared to the opposite side of the man. With a quick thrust of his arm he shot the sphere forward, rushing toward the back of the man. If this were to hit, surely it would end his life and then he and Broly would be able to survive another day.

Rex had missed. He saw it, the big man's desperation to escape his attack. He had been successful, the Dragon Fist would have rendered him in two pieces. But, he had moved just on time to avoid the brunt of it. Sure, it had taken an arm and a shoulder with it, but that wasn't good enough, not for Rex. Death had been his goal, and he had fallen short.

Green light brought his attention to the big man's arm. In his fist a chaotic orb of ki was swelling. Just his evasion, this attack was one of pure desperation. Rex feel the vibrations of the the unrestrained power, which sent chills down his spine. The attack had immense power, enough to kill him. That left him with only one option—get the hell outta there before it detonated.

In a blur of motion, he vanished from sight, the orb hitting the sand where he once stood, going off like an artillery shell. Rex appeared above the growing plume of sand and debris, gasping for air. He his entire body hurt, and after pushing himself like that he could feel his strength waning even further.

His tank was on empty—all out of gas. The big man was hardly a threat anymore, but he still had the purple haired kid. Rex's eyes darted back and forth as he searched for him. He knew that the kid couldn't have gone far.

Turning around he saw boy appear, a solid look of determination in his eyes. They were the eyes of a killer, a cold blooded one at that. Floating above his hand was some sort of strange looking prismatic ball. Rex cocked one eyebrow, not sure what to make of it. He wanted to doubt the kid and his little rainbow attack, but everything about the daggers in his eyes told Rex he should run for his life.

The thing is, he couldn't move, not fast enough to make a different, not in the state of pure exhaustion he was in after unleashing his Dragon Fist. The thing was going to hit him so he threw his right palm forward to grab it out of the air. He thought that perhaps he could use his remaining strength to hurl it out of the way, or something of the sort.

The ball slammed into his right palm, pushing Rex back through the air. It seemed to quiver there for a moment, bolts of multicolored lightning cascading from it. And then, with no indication as to why, it disappeared. Rex felt a strange warm feeling rush up his limb and through his right side. The warm grew into a burning and Rex let out a blood curdling screech.

The arm and the right side of his torso erupted into a pink mist of blood and tissue. Rex was completely stunned to see a good quarter of his body vanish in such a violent manner. His scream stopped and he just glanced down at the mess of bone and vital organs hanging out of him.

“Y-you little piece of shit,” Rex said, his voice quivering. “I can't believe you landed a hit on me.”

“I can,” a smooth voice called from behind. “You got far too cocky, underestimated your enemies and got Ralia killed. Master is displeased.”

Master is displeased. The words resounded in his mind, bringing far more terror than his gruesome wounds.

Rex turned to see the hooded Xeno, Grick, floating in the open sky, with his arms folded. Oroki was beside him. Oroki the Death God—the one man Rex truly feared. The warrior had a humble appearance, wearing simple blue robes. He held in one hand a black sword that looked to be made of pure obsidian. In his other hand was an orange crystal ball that had a single star of bristling magic within it.

Oroki floated forward, facing the purple haired kid.

“I commend you,” Oroki said to the boy. “You've fought valiantly. I have no idea why you interrupted Ralia's attempt to kill Ian Lancaster, but you truly threw a wrench in our plans. You and your brute down there took down Ralia and defeated Rex. Master is so impressed with your performance that he has decided to give you reprieve. Go boy, take the dragonball. Polish it and place it upon a pedestal within your mansion. Rest and lick your wounds. We will return for the dragonball, and you are going to need to be ready.”

Turning the blade, Oroki's arm lashed out, lopping off Rex's head in one fell swoop. His ragged corpse tumbled down, disappearing in the hazy cloud of stand lingering below. The Death God flicked the blood from his blade with the snap of his wrist, before tossing the dragonball to Ryouji.

“Come Grick, let us go,” he said, turning around.

The hooded Xeno nodded furiously and floated over, placing one hand on Oroki's shoulder.

“Oroki is my name child. Remember it.”

In a flicker of motion, they were gone.

OOC:

Congratulations Broly and Ryouji, you've won the battle. You gain the Elder Shroud and One Star Dragonball, to do what you wish with.
