A gang has been terrorizing West City. They call themselves the Spideros and have spider tattoos on their arms. It is said they are led by a powerful martial artist. Put a stop to the Spideros and defeat their leader.

West City was a massive metropolis. It was really, what Zangya called, an urban jungle. Its tall ‘oaks’ were gigantic skyscrapers reaching up high towards the sky as if trying to grasp at the very clouds themselves. The pathways were the long snaking roads of black pitch asphalt. And the sounds of the ‘jungle’ ranged from the pitter-patter of the hundreds of people walking up and down the sidewalks, the persistent ramblings of those talking over their cell phones, or the loud, and annoying, honking of the cars lined up in rows as they drove to and fro down the winding and intercepting roads.

But not all was well in West City. There was trouble in paradise; though when Zangya arrived at the city she hadn’t a single clue about it. She arrived after flying to the city, across the vast blue-green expanse of ocean that surrounded it, outside a tall department store, that was labeled “Otofukuya” in large fancy font in huge blocky neon letters over the expansive multiple double glass doors that overlooked the wide circular stone patio that sat out front of the store. The patio had several stone benches for people to sit, as well as a tall fountain in the center. In a way, the patio almost reminded the orange-haired, teal-skinned beauty of the garden outside her bedroom window back on her home planet.

Landing outside of the store, she was not surprised that the few people were around stared at her with shock. The woman had just fallen out of the sky, and landed there and then acted as if it was an everyday occurrence.

A woman, not far off, gathered up her children, who apparently were intrigued by the beautiful orange haired woman who had flown down from the sky, and scurried quickly away and out of the stone patio area and onto the sidewalk, and then across the street.

Still, she paid it little mind. She had things to do. Though, those said things were not quite life threatening or of major importance, so she decided she would check out what was on sale in that particular department store. From what she could tell, going with what she saw in the display cases being shown to the prospective shoppers outside, the store sold a menagerie of things; ranging from women’s perfume, to shoes, to tasteless (at least in her opinion) jewelry, and various other things. It was apparently a store geared more towards women.

So, having extra time to kill, and having never been in a department store of this size before, Zangya decided to enter. She walked up to the large double doors as they slid open. Immediately she was hit with a sudden breeze of cool air, which was permeated with the thick scent of dozens of various types of perfumes that female costumers and perfume counter workers sprayed (or more like polluted) the air with.

Stepping into the entrance foyer of the store, she noted the soft hint of Muzack playing in the background; the same kind of soft-toned music that seemed to play in every store she had gone into so far, what the humans called ‘elevator music.’

The store was well lit, and from what she saw just standing at the entrance was quite expansive. From the entrance she could see the jewelry department, with its many display cases stuffed full of glittering jewelry (from rings to necklaces, to anklets, to lockets, and even diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and whatever other precious rock these humans could dig out of the ground.) Not far from the jewelry department, she could see the perfume department, it had a number of counters, each one lined with various sized and shaped bottles, many of various colors and she could only guess each one has been sprayed at least once, which made that area of the store reek heavily of the many different perfumes sold there.

Even inside the store she was getting quite a few stares. But, it wasn’t every day that a teal-skinned, orange-haired pointy-eared woman from another planet waltzed casually into the store and began to check out their wares.

Walking up to the jewelry department, she began to check out what they had to offer. Well, not all of it was quite as tasteless as she had first thought. Already she saw a particularly fetching piece; a gold chain from which hung a skeleton key made of silver with intricate scroll work in the form of a heart at the end.

Now that was worth buying.

Just as Zangya walked over to the woman (a pretentious looking tart with a shit-eating grin on her face clad in an ugly purple pantsuit) a loud crash filled the air, followed by a roar, which only served to cover up the screaming which erupted soon thereafter.

A loud piercing screech filled the air, causing the orange-haired woman to turn and look to see the source. A half dozen motorcycles had smashed their way into the store through the sliding double glass doors, sending glass spraying across the cool marble floors of the department store. The riders were tall, muscled men clad in leather, with large spider tattoos on their arms.

“Spideros!” The woman yelped behind the jewelry counter then ducked to the ground.

Spi-what? Her brow arched in curiosity, as she turned to face the attacking horde of leather clad brutes, who had parked their roaring hogs, dismounted and began to terrorize the inhabitants of the department store. Several of them had surrounded a pair of women, and were making lewd remarks to them; she couldn’t hear them but from the body language she was reading she got the basic gist of what they were trying to say.

Such annoyances; she really disliked men like that. The women did not seem interested and yet they continued to pry.

She walked over, as she stood a few feet away, “You know, if you’re persistent, women will hate you.” She piped up, as the men who were bothering the two young women turned to face her. They were a bit surprised that the person who dared speak up was, a. a woman, and b. a hot woman. They grinned, lecherously, and walked forward.

“Well, baby, it seems you volunteered to be our entertainment for the night.” The one to the left (a tall red-head) chortled to himself as he said this, as he walked towards her, reaching out to grab her, “Man, look at those ti-” He got cut off as she dropped down and kicked off the ground, charging at him. Her knee connected with his groin causing his eyes to bulge as he let out a strangled sound, a mixture of a scream and a yelp, as she sent her elbow into the back of his head, knocking him face-first to the ground. She could clearly hear the sound of a crack when his nose struck the marble floor.

“You bitch!” The blond man (who had been bothering the young girls previously) lunged for her. She sidestepped his attack, spinning on her heel as she gave him a rather powerful windmill kick to the face, knocking him clear off his feet. Flying through the air, he slammed into one of the display cases filled with sunglasses, smashing the glass and twisting the frame as he slumped there, knocked unconscious.

“Two out of six. Who wants to have a go?” She turned to the others, hands on her hips, head canted.

“Well, well, well, it’s been quite a long time since I’ve seen a gutsy girl like you.” The largest of the group stepped forward. He was the tallest, the most built; with thick strong broad shoulders, and was the only one clad in a sleeveless leather jacket (the sleeves seemed to have been ripped off.) He was their leader, she could tell, as he had the largest spider tattoo of the group. He popped his neck, “Well girl, I give you points for having guts. You’re a real hero, sadly I don’t like heroes. Though for a pretty thing like you I may make an exception. Now, we can do this one of two ways, there’s the hard way or…well there’s just the hard way.”

“That’s fine by me.” She lowered down into stance as the man laughed, apparently in approval. The woman had guts, he liked that. When he beats her, he’d be kind and not ruin her face too much. He could always recruit her to join Spideros. He always did want to have a hot female member to keep him company.

The fight was short. Really, it was. The large man charged. He was a good fighter, and he was strong. But what he had over her in brute strength, she made up for it in speed. She dodged his punches, as she turned her head side to side, as he backed her up towards the wall. The final punch, she deflected, as he found himself punching the wall, as his fist was stuck in the plaster. She took the opportunity to send a powerful barrage of punches into his stomach and one up into his jaw, knocking him back, and releasing him from the wall.

Rushing at him, she kicked off the ground, jumped onto his knee, jumped off that and spun about in a strong kick to the side of his face, knocking his sunglasses clear off his face and skittering across the ground, shattered as he slumped to the ground. “Now, who else wants to play?” She turned to the others, who could only stare in shock that their leader now lay on the marble floor barely conscious.

They turned tail, jumped onto their motorcycles and drove out, same as how they drove in.
